B & B Porta Tosa

This is one of the best B&Bs I've ever had the pleasure to stay in. I booked a room for two nights together with my partner to visit Milano for a weekend. While the B&B is on the small side, having only 4 rooms, it is very cosy and super comfortable. It had everything we needed for a stay and was very calm, since it is located a bit outside the city. Even so, it is well connected to the city centre as there is a tram that can take you there in 10 minutes. The breakfast that Stefano made every morning is absolutely wonderful. I am already missing it. Highly recommended!

I stayed at Porta Tossa for two nights, and both were absolutely wonderful. The welcome was warm and friendly, and Stefano gave me great recommendations for restaurants and public transport. The room was beautifully decorated, with a very comfortable bed and a great bathroom. The air conditioning worked perfectly. The B&B is located in a quiet residential area, yet it's very easy to reach all the main sights in Milan. Stefano is truly outstanding — you need to book a check-in time in advance, but that keeps everything smooth and efficient. On the day of my departure, I had to leave early, and Stefano even prepared a lunchbox and left it at my door — such a thoughtful gesture. It was a lovely stay and a very positive experience. I traveled solo this time, but next time I’d love to return with my partner and enjoy it together. Highly recommended!

Our stay was short but sweet. The room was lovely and the host was very attentive and kind. It's an easy tram or train ride to get into the center of the city. And nice to be in a quiet less tourist fall neighborhood after a day of site-seeing. We loved it! Breakfast was lovely and delicious! We will come back it possible and definitely recommend.

The B&B is located in a quiet area. There are metro, tram, city train, and bus stops close to the building, which is very convenient. The building is old and definitely has its charm. The original details make this place look really nice — you can feel that Italian vibe here. Our room was spacious, light, and airy. It had a balcony, which was also very convenient. Everything you need for your stay is provided: authentic furniture (a really comfortable bed, a table, a chair, a wardrobe, etc.), some crockery (glasses and cups, though additional items can be found in the kitchen), tea, coffee, a hairdryer, a kettle, a big mirror, and even body lotion. There are two sockets on both sides of the bed. Smoking is forbidden in the rooms and on the balconies, but there is a garden behind the building where you can smoke. You can access the garden directly from the ground floor. Breakfast is delicious. On our last day, we had to leave the B&B early in the morning, so we couldn’t have breakfast, as it is served from 8 AM to 10 AM. However, we received a breakfast box with plenty of food the evening before our checkout. I was really impressed because I had never experienced such a thoughtful gesture before — it truly felt like the owner cares about their guests. I can confidently say that the level of service is very high. You can always ask questions via WhatsApp or in person; the owner is very kind and polite. Staying at this B&B was a great experience. The most important thing for me was the feeling of truly being in Italy — not just IKEA furniture and a typical design, but soul in every detail and original items. This B&B is definitely highly recommended.

Beautiful place with soul. Room was very clean, everything that we needed was in there. Breakfasts are phenomenal - I ate a lot of delicious meals in Milano, but breakfast at Porta Tosa I will remember the most. But the biggest advantage of this place is definitely the staff. Too bad I can only rate them to 5 stars, they deserve even more. Stefano & Angelo are amazing persons - so kind and helpful. Location is pretty good too, direct tram to Duomo, but if you need metro, it's in reasonable walk distance too.
