During my short stay in Kuwait, I got to know Nautilus Diving Club there. Last Friday, we took a daily trip from Khiran to Qaruh Island and did two unforgettable dives. The water was completely calm on the surface, no waves, but in the depths – during the second dive – a relatively strong current arose due to the tide, which we took advantage of and drifted almost the entire time: we saw rays, batfish, and many other interesting things. I would like to especially highlight the organizer of the entire program, Saleh A-Saleh, a PADI instructor colleague, thanks to whom, and his helpful colleagues, I, and probably the young Saudis who joined us, really had a great time. Even though Kuwait's options in terms of dive sites are obviously more modest than, for example, the countries along the Red Sea, I believe that the good organization, the modern and comfortable dive boat, the delicious lunch and, above all, the friendly attitude and helpfulness of Nautilus-colleagues themselves provided a high-quality and long-lasting experience, which I will be happy to repeat the next time I visit there. A few days later, when I visited the Nautilus base in Kuwait City, my positive impressions were further strengthened. The club's office and sales area are spacious and aesthetically decorated. The club is the local representative of several internationally renowned equipment manufacturers and, thanks to the course directors and IDC staff instructors working there, is also a 5-star PADI instructor training center.
