Coming from Australia I have found it tricky to find a wine tasting in Italt that isn’t overpriced and is authentic. Gambino will not disappoint. It the best wine tasting experience that we have ever had. The hospitality, wines and food were amazing. All the staff were lovely. We sat outside on the lawn after our tasting and tour and ended up spending 4 hours here. Highly recommend! Thanks Sophia our hostess for the beautiful experience.
We had a wonderful day at the winery. The wine tasting with food pairing was both delicious and very interesting, and our sommelier was extremely knowledgeable. The staff and management were all super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The winery itself is absolutely beautiful, we were lucky to visit when everything was lush and green, with the vines full of grapes. Truly an unforgettable experience!
Perfect wine, stunning views. We did the 7 wine tasting with a light lunch. The food was incredible, the wine was perfect, the olive oil was delicious. Staff was fun and friendly! Definitely worth a visit!
An amazing experience in wine tasting on mount Etna, enjoying breath-taking views. We went for the 7 wines degustation/pairing menu - simply delicious wine and food! The whole process was very well organised including a tour in the wine cellar. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. A must visit while in Sicily! Worth every penny! Well done to all the Gambino staff!
Really great experience. Good quality wines combined with typical food in a very relaxed and beautiful place. Staff was super friendly and open to all the questions. I loved this concept of a tasting, because there’s more time for you and your wine buddy to enjoy together.
An exceptional winery experience in Sicily! The wine tasting was truly outstanding, offering a delightful array of flavors. The accompanying olive oils, sun-dried tomatoes, olives, and cheeses were absolutely flavorful and complemented the wines perfectly. I’m thrilled to have visited this remarkable winery in Italy and to have savored such memorable tastes!
I’ve been to over 100 wineries over 25 yrs, and this was one of the best tasting exoeriences I’ve had. The wine was excellent- someofnthe best in Sicily, the service was fabtastic, the food was amazing, and the views were stunning!
A great day out at Gambino Winery, starting with a glass of wine upon entry and then hearing about the history of the winery. The wine tasting itself was a good pace, with a lot of food (so come with an empty stomach!). The only thing to add was that we did find the dishes quite salty. The dessert was a nice touch - we rolled out of there very happy and full!

Amazing experience!!! Salvo is simply great at what he does: from the pick up in town, we instantly knew he was nice and welcoming, bringing us on his jeep straight to his open space location (couple minutes away), where three adorable donkeys took us around for one hour. Walk, landscapes and animals make a stunning and relaxing experience, merging into green fields and untamed nature. Salvo follows you, filling the walk with anneddocts about the area, the volcano and the local habits. Salvo’s donkeys are lovely and very kind, you can trust them completely. Tours can last 1 or 2 hours, and they end with a delicious cup of white wine followed by local fruit, to enjoy the last part of the staying and relax in Salvo’s countryside. Both my girlfriend and nephew were enthusiastic at the end of the day, we’ll surely book for the 2 hours tour next time!! Thank you Salvo!!
Unforgettable Donkey Trekking Experience! The donkey trekking was absolutely sensational! Salvo was the perfect guide – incredibly kind, attentive, and very child-friendly. Our kids (3 and 6 years old) had a fantastic time, and Salvo tailored everything to suit their age. The scenery was breathtaking, with majestic Mount Etna in the background. One of the best excursions we had in Sicily. Highly recommended.
We had a really nice time at Etna Donkey Trekking! Salvo, the host, makes the whole experience fun and very accessible. He shares interesting information along the way and has a great, friendly vibe. The donkeys are fantastic – calm, well-behaved, and perfect for kids. Our children absolutely loved it! A small point of critique: the route itself isn’t very idyllic and doesn’t offer breathtaking views, so don’t expect dramatic Etna panoramas. However, Salvo’s enthusiasm, the interaction with the donkeys, and the lovely snack and drink afterwards make it absolutely worth it.
Peaceful Donkey Trek - A Step Back in Time Our one-hour donkey excursion with Salvo was a beautifully serene escape that transported us to a different era. Salvo's genuine passion for his work and deep respect for both the land and animals shines through in every aspect of this experience. His excellent care for his donkeys and the friendly dogs who joined our group demonstrates his commitment to animal welfare and creates a truly authentic atmosphere. The trek through the captivating Sicilian countryside felt like stepping back in time - peaceful, unhurried, and utterly enchanting. The natural beauty of the landscape, combined with the gentle rhythm of the donkeys, created a meditative experience that was both refreshing and grounding. Salvo himself is wonderfully friendly and professional, sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm while ensuring everyone feels comfortable and engaged. His love for what he does is contagious and adds so much depth to the experience. This unique excursion offers something rare - a chance to slow down, connect with nature, and experience Sicily's timeless countryside in the most authentic way possible. Perfect for anyone seeking a peaceful adventure off the beaten path!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an absolutely wonderful day today with Salvo and his team at Etna Donkey Trekking. We were a group of five (three children included), and from start to finish it was a magical, stress-free experience. Salvo was kind, patient, knowledgeable, and had a wonderful way with children. He made sure everyone felt comfortable, even those riding the donkeys for the first time. The route through vineyards, olive groves, and chestnut trees was beautiful and peaceful, with spectacular views of Etna. The pace was perfect — relaxed but engaging — so we never felt rushed. The donkeys were gentle, well cared for, and clearly loved the attention. At the end of the excursion we were able to linger a bit at the farm, tasting a „McDonkey“ and enjoying some quiet moments in nature. Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone who wants to experience Etna in a gentle, memorable way. A must-do if you’re in the area. Thank you, Salvo, for a day we won’t forget!
Wonderful authentic adventure on Sicilian donkeys with owner Salvo, followed by a delicious antipasto as authentic as they come. Highly recommended experience not to be missed 😎👍🏻🍷
This was such a great experience! Lunch and wine was amazing and Salvo is awesome! Highly recommend
We had a great time with Salvo and his animals! My wife and I were in Sicily with a large group of friends. We broke off from the group for a few hours for a donkey ride. The property is lovely, the animals are well cared for, and our host was as warm and welcoming as they come. Our ride concluded with a glass of wine, a homemade snack, and a great conversation with our new friend, Salvo.

Well decorated museum showcasing pieces of Messina , great artist who designed the Ferrari Logo , totally recommend to visit!
(Translated by Google) Salvatore Incorpora is a great artist who is mostly little known. The works highlight his great personality with a strong expression of humanity (large feet and hands that recall the past of his imprisonment in German concentration camps during the Second World War). It is really worth visiting the museum which is very well looked after. Very welcoming staff. Free entry. Personale molto accogliente. Ingresso gratuito.
(Translated by Google) A small museum but it is very interesting! The first thing I want to say is that the visit is free and even the very kind lady who works here gave me an excursion with all the explanations I liked the museum a lot (Original) Un museo piccolo ma è molto interessante!

Messina and in recent months Guccione! (Translated by Google) Very interesting visit. When I went to the Guccione exhibition, I discovered Salvatore Incardona, the artist whose permanent collection the museum houses. Well-kept and well-appointed museum, with adequate lighting for the placement of the works. The information provided by the guide who independently accompanied us along the route was valuable and interesting. I really recommend it, to enrich a day dedicated to discovering the slopes of Etna. (Original) Visita molto interessante.
(Translated by Google) There was no museum dedicated to "his" son on Etna. The Master Incorporates. Great person and character. For an exhibition curated by Vittorio Sgarbi, also a son of the "artistic" territory, it is also a point of reference for the wonderful exhibition with Maestro Guttuso.
(Translated by Google) The museum is very beautiful and worth a visit. It contains works by two great artists Messina and Incorpora, it is well maintained and visits are assisted by kind and expert people. However, my opinion may be biased as I have known both dead artists for a few years. The village of Linguaglossa is a serene and very pleasant place of the spirit.

Had a pleasure to visit this winery in summer. The winery is quiet young but very promissing. Exports the wine to Asia, the USA etc. It is located in a small village with a beautiful view to Etna. So cosy! For the tasting you can choose from Etna varieties and the ones produced from Corleone region. Etna rosso Martinella is absolutely a MUST to try! The employee Irena was very friendly, told us a bit about Sicily and Italy, history of the winery, showed us the premices, fermentation room. Me and my husband were very satisfied. I do recommend to visit it!
I went here for a wine tasting of the Etna Wines and had an amazing time. The history of the winery and the customer service was exceptional. The six wines I tasted we're all crisp and fresh and very unique to the mountain. I'd love to go again!
Very lovely place. The owners are very welcoming and the tour is very interesting and informative. The price is very reasonable as well.
We drove there without having booked anything and had an awesome wine tasting. Our host was extremely nice and explained the wine making process in great detail. He made sure we felt very welcome. The wines were all very good (and not very expensive) and they have several vineyards around Sicily and he explained the differences in climate etc.. Also he phoned up a restaurant for us and booked us a table. I recommend this place :)
Eugenio was our host. I have been on a couple of vineyard tours before and love learning about wine making. The passion Eugenio and the family has for making quality wines is wonderful to see. The wines are modem, great flavour and we really enjoyed learning about the wines and the people that make them.
We had a great experiece. It is a quiet and romantic winery, near the orgaic vineyards. We got a tour between the grapevines, a welcoming hosting and great wine. We will be back there one day for sure! Lovely family.
Did a full tour of the winery and it was just fantastic. A really authentic experience. The wine is absolutely beautiful and not in the least bit expensive (if you wish to buy a few bottles for yourself). This is family owned and run by a group of people who really know their stuff. The wine tasting itself was complemented with fresh bread doused in extra virgin olive oil, also made by the family. Would highly recommend if you wish to evade the more touristy wine tasting in the region! I'm currently sitting on a balcony sipping some of Vi Vera's 'A'mami' so perhaps my positive judgement has been enhanced! Find out for yourself!
We had a perfect visit at Vivera Winery, we had a warm welcoming and a delicious wine tastening. Eugenio was a good host that was 100% serviceminde and made us feel like home. We recommend everyone to go visit this Winery it is an experience on its own. ⭐
