Amazing museum, super interactive and lots to learn in a fun way! We spent almost 5 hours in the exhibition because there was so much to see and so much to do. While the start feels a little bit slow, the pace picks up once you get out onto the floor. The amount of exhibits is amazing, and the fact that there are original pieces that were actually parts of space missions is impressive. We had a really good time with the different videos they show of interviews with astronauts, of different missions and how everything works behind the scenes. There are many interactive displays that are interesting for kids and adults alike, like a quiz about satellite pictures or a setup where you can launch a tiny rocket. This museum is absolutely worth it's price, and despite being small in size there is an incredible amount of things to see and experience. It really exceeded our expectations!
Well, little bit behind expectations. It used to be good, hut exhibitions aging and it all seem just a collection of scrap… no issues there if it wouldn’t be just old stuff from 70’-2000. ESA do gray stuff and it would be great to make it bit modernised and exciting
Today me and the family visited the space expo and we were amazed. You could touch enter and feel almost everything in the museum which is perfect for us a family of four. The day there started, at their outside playground after which we entered the museum only to run because we heard that there was a presentation about space gabage in the auditorium. I never thought our kids could sit still but they were memorized. Afterwards we took it slower also because I'm with leg problems, but that wasn't a problem because I could borrow a wheelchair there. Everything is by the way wheelchair accessible, but if you are gonna use their wheelchair bring someone to push because their wheelchairs are the Dutch ones that you can't turn the wheel yourself. Bonus: try the space ice cream it's like nothing else
An extraordinary museum of space exploration stuffs in Noorwijk, Netherlands. Plenty of parking areas with wheelchair accessible parking too. There are cafeteria and merchandise corner on the entrance lobby. After pay for 17€ each visitor can get through the large expo hall where we find some videos of space sciences. Next door, there are some panels of mission simulation with some space probes floating all above. If you want to follow the sequence, before overexcited with the big rockets, you must go to 'the clean room'. There we can build our own probes interactively on the computer panels, I chose Gaia. After finishing the space probe mission, you can take a picture in front of rocket miniatures, whilst the biggest combustion engine will launch every one hour! Just check the count down above it. However for me the most interesting site is the replica of International Space Station, with the cupola spot, the monumental spot for every astronaut 🧑‍🚀 How amazing! If you're attracted by weather and satellite things, go to the next section. Then, the last part is the moon landing stage, complete with re-entry capsule simulator and moon jumper camera. Unfortunately we'll must go by ourselves without guidance to do what first. If you wanna be an astronaut like me, this is a recommended place for you 🚀
Satellites, the International Space Station, and many other attractions await you. Easy access, ample parking, and a cozy restaurant await. A cinema and many interesting space-related attractions invite you to explore. Time spent here will pay off in the future. If you have a moment, don't delay and go to the Expo.
If you like space, just come here. This place is soooo nice! I can't describe it, but you'll spend time of your life here! Good for children, date or yourself!
Excellent space expo, super fun with lots to see. Not an all day activity but great hour or so when you factor in the different rooms and gift shop. Food and drink was a reasonable price and the toilets were clean. Staff were very friendly and spoke English and Dutch.
Small museum that you can spend 2-3 hrs to complete. If you are around must see, especially for kids it can be interesting. But this is not a museum that you travel hours to see.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful and very clean apartment. We really liked the proximity to the beach and the lighthouse. We can highly recommend the apartment, which is rented by very nice and helpful hosts. It was super nice. Danke Astrid
(Translated by Google) As has already been mentioned several times in the other reviews, the Pollux holiday apartment was great in terms of location and cleanliness, but you should take a few points into account when booking: The apartment is generally very small (with the possible 5 people this can be problematic) the bathroom is also very small and has no sink. The sink is upstairs in the room with the double bed. If you go to bed at different times, you have to brush your teeth in the kitchen. The stairs to the top are very steep, not for small children, older people or dogs. All in all it was ok, but not nearly good enough for the quite high price of almost 900 euros for 4 days (4 people and 2 dogs and parking fee).
(Translated by Google) We are very satisfied with our stay. There were three of us and two dogs and we had enough space. Directly near the beach and super lovely hosts! The house is strikingly clean!
(Translated by Google) The apartment is very centrally located. A well-kept, kilometer-long sandy beach. It is only a few meters to the shopping street and there are many restaurants and bars in the area. The place is intended for all ages. Regardless of whether you are on a family vacation or traveling alone, everyone has their own taste. The apartment was very clean and very well equipped. Nothing was missing at all. There was also a small welcome note, which immediately gave you that holiday feeling. The family was very friendly, nice and always available to answer questions. We felt very comfortable in the 10 days. We had a super relaxing holiday for which we are very grateful to the Van der Niet family.
(Translated by Google) We stayed in the holiday apartment with our two children from July 12th to July 19th, 2019 and really appreciated the great location near the beach. The supermarket and a bicycle rental are also just around the corner and various excursion destinations in the area are very easily accessible. The landlady is very nice and accommodating and has lovingly furnished the apartment (the only thing we missed was a dishwasher). We soon got used to the stairs to the attic to the bedrooms ;O).
(Translated by Google) The Pollux holiday home in Noordwijk is cute and very central. The contact with Astrid in advance was very pleasant and friendly. It was possible that our friends could visit us for a night without any major inconvenience! The holiday home is very clean and nicely decorated. It's about a 4 minute walk to the beach. What should be mentioned, however, is the very steep stairs in the house, where dogs definitely need companionship when going up and down. There is only a sink in the double bedroom and not in the bathroom. But it wasn't a problem for us at all... We would definitely come back :-) (Original) Das Ferienhaus Pollux in Noordwijk ist schnuckelig und sehr zentral.
(Translated by Google) We had a wonderful holiday week in Noordwijk. The holiday apartment is perfect for families, friends and couples. It leaves nothing to be desired and is furnished with everything you need. The best thing is the location. It is only a few meters to the beautiful sandy beach, which is ideal for swimming, and it is not far to the restaurants and shopping mile. Everything can be reached within a few minutes. The surf schools and the supermarket are also within walking distance. The landlords are both very nice and will help if you have any questions. Processing the payment was uncomplicated and the price/performance ratio is great. Thank you very much for the great holidays. (Translated by Google) The little house has a feel-good atmosphere like at home. What I found particularly nice is that the kitchen was fully equipped. The landlords are very friendly and approachable at any time. My family and I are sure that we will always enjoy vacationing there. You just cross the street and you are right at the lighthouse. If you want, you can via the web. Camera right next to it, the promenade and the long sandy beach can be seen live. We had a fantastic experience on our Sunday visit! Our tour guide, Chris, was exceptionally knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the Atlantikwall. He shared fascinating stories, making the tour incredibly engaging. The entire staff consists of dedicated volunteers, which adds a special touch to the experience. After the hour-long tour, we explored their realistic museum, which is meticulously decorated to resemble how it looked during World War II. Overall, it's an excellent experience, suitable even in bad weather as it is all indoors. The tour and museum visit together cost only €10. Highly recommended!
Great place to visit. To witness the over efficiënt efforts of the not so Great Germans in WWII ... But in the long run it was not effective. Whata Waste 2.0 🤔😉
Super interesting museum run by volunteers. We loved to learn more about what happened during the second world war and how this place was built by the Germans who wanted to defend themselves from the British or Americans. It has been renovated. Museum Cards are not accepted. Outside of the summer season is open on the first and third weekend of the month.
What an amazing piece of history. Our tour guide Hank was fantastic and it was obvious he truly loves sharing his knowledge. The care and devotion put into preserving this piece of history is commendable. I'm so glad we made this a part of our travels.
One of the most amazing experiences. We only saw one of the Bunker in the chain, but was brilliant. Everything was well done from the screens in the lookout to the restoration and audio. I believe these kind of experiences should be promoted by the Dutch Tourism board
A well preserved example of a German WWII fortification built along the Atlantic coast. Our guide Andre (unpaid docent, speaks perfect English) made the tour come alive by relating stories of how he came here as a child. The guided tour was mostly flat but the attached museum (optional, included in tour price) requires steep steps and ladders to fully experience. An interesting side note is how part of the facility is used for sheltering bats and how the staff goes to great lengths to ensure their safety and comfort.
Super cool to see. Guide was informative and really well spoken English. Great with the children as well. Take some warm clothing as it gets really cold under ground inside the bunkers
Really nice small museum. Take the opportunity of the bunkerdag and you can enjoy multiple bunkers for one single ticket.

Interesting & Educational museum that shows a different perspective and examples of real ‘Engelandvaarders’. Great with kids and super interesting for adults. Worth a visit!
Very interesting museum tucked away in the dunes. Lovely day out combined with the bunkers and a trip to the beach
Outstanding Museum. Telling the true story about the occupation by Nazi Germany and the impact on individual lifelines. Makes you realize how horrifying the time under the German occupation must have been and to what decision people were driven. Taking off over the English Canal in Kajaks and Small boats. Facing the risk of loosing their lifes....... Truly sad to see what it means to live in a dictatorship.
Impressive small museum telling the world war 2 story of young boys fleeing The Netherlands to the UK really well. Time well spend and a must visit in a Noordwijk
Nice museum if WWII interst you. But it is really small.
A wonderful and fitting tribute to the brave Dutch men and women during the 2nd World War. A must-see for world history enthusiasts!
Friendly and welcoming staff all exhibit have English explanations. The museum is about the Dutch who braved the north sea and Germans to get to England and fight for the liberation of Europe. Many lost their lives in the attempt.
Interesting museum about brave young men who risk their lifes during WW2.

Great beach for dog walking, very busy with lots of walkers enjoying the sea air!
Great stretch to walk with your dog from here to the south, all the way to the Old Rhine river mouth, north of Katwijk. About 1.5 hour return walk.
Great beach for dogs and owners. Clean, and comfortable. There is even dog wash station with air blower.
Great dog beach. Very clean and very spacious. There is an access ramp (pictured). There is paid parking (right next to the access ramp) which fills quickly on warmer days.
Beautiful beach with good parking and cafes. Waves look good for surfing, but the water was 9 degrees during March, so maybe with a good wetsuit worth trying it out! There is surf school nearby. Good for dog owners, dogs are allowed to run without a leash around and plenty of bags for toilet:)
A wonderful beach to have your dogs enjoy beach time, neat and clean, pet friendly decks, seeing other dogs our one was so excited, super excited rather.
Absolute best beach for dog owners! Can highly recommend and we’ll continue to come back here 🐕🐾
There are dogs here. I saw a guy hit. By a dog. Full on hard from behind. My god. The guy was okay standing up and did like nothing happened. It was clearly the owner.
