A great way to go to the top! We would recommend going to the middle station, and hiking up to the top from here. You get some great panoramic views during the walk. You can drink and eat something on the large terrace on the top. You can see over 3000 different peaks, from all the different mountains in the Alps!

The cable car is nice, but it has no ventilation inside, and the smell from people that come down from hikes is sometimes very problematic. Also, we visited in summer so it was very hot. The last car leaves at 5pm which is very early in our opinion. The parking is not free. To be honest, for 40 euros/pers we were expecting better services.

Engineering masterpiece. Runs already from 7:30 (in summer). I recommend to be here early in morning when we were almost alone in cabin for 120 people. The views are really great. The parking is paid, but if you have a ticket to go up you get whole day for 3 euro.

I almost didn't go because I thought the tickets were a bit expensive until the sales lady told me there was a restaurant up there and a beautiful trail to walk through for amazing photos. She was very patient with our group and gave a group discount for us and helped us get everything settled with directions. You can turn your card back in for 2 euro back! I couldn't choose from the photos and videos I took so you get to see them all 😂

Beware the blue 28 - your teacher might recommend it as a good practice slope, but it’s so crowded you will feel like an elephant in a china shop. It also has a few very steep parts. Take the slope 14 instead. Getting up in a rush hour (8:30-9:30 am) is a stressful experience.

people who stay around Mayhofern and still spend 30+minutes (one way) in car to get to Zillertal pool are doing a big mistake. this one is almost empty, if you arrive before 3pm you can be almost sure you have private swimming pool and it has everything you're looking for. also the massage streamer fixed my blocked back. I can only recommend. if there's any downside, maybe the cloakroom area can be a bit more heated..but everyone was happy including kids.

Basic swimming pool to relax at. Ticket can be combined with indoor swimming pool and sauna. You can hire chairs and parasols. The last are a bit small, doesn't fit 2p. I bought online tickets, but the scanner doesn't work and no wristbands were issued that day

Great saunas, jacuzzi and pool. We went here after skiing and were expecting a lot of people, but it wasn't crowded at all. Pleasant atmosphere, relaxation. Cooling off after the sauna outside on the balcony sunbeds with a view of the mountains... it was great. The only minus for me was the absence of information signs in English. Highly recommend. Good 😊: if you have a family and want something for everyone, it works well. Kids will definitely enjoy it. It is a large facility and easy to navigate with some great pool areas. Parents can take turns watching kids and relaxing in the sauna if they want as the facilities are easy to go between. Excellent for a family outing! Eh 😐: if you go JUST for the sauna you will probably be disappointed. The price/value isn’t really there. There are a lot of good things - multiple saunas, Dampfbad, Solarium, etc. - but it’s nothing special and has the same ambiance as the family swimming area so nothing really relaxing or special there. Similar amenities in a less crowded enviornment can be found in many nearby hotels. Bad 😔: parking space can be difficult to find when it is busy. Still, not a big deal for a fun family outing.

She was easygoing and made our lessons fun, and didn't push us too hard. We both made progress with our boarding and achieved what we set out to achieve. We would happily book with SMT again.

My son and I were in a group with Ed who was the best instructor we have ever had. He made us feel comfortable and paid attention to every detail of each individual in order to make sure that our skiing improved significantly during the week. Ed made the 5 day course good fun and we’d definitely recommend him. Hopefully we can return next year!

Just returned home after a lovely break which we booked with Crystal Holidays. We booked our 3 days Ski School with SMT. I’ve never had any ski training so was a little apprehensive! We arrived on the slopes and were put into Bo’s group. We had a lovely time with our group and decided to book a further 2 days. Bo spent the morning putting us through our paces with warm up exercises and training and then had great skiing in the afternoons. Bo is a really experienced instructor and is great fun but, always installed the safety into our skiing each day. I’m now an Intermediate skier and my skiing has really improved due to Bo. The SMT Certificate given to me at the end of last week, completed by Bob was great to receive as I know what I’m doing well and also what I need to work on. Thank you Bo for a great fun week & and also SMT.

Can't express enough of how much I was impressed with the SMT Skischule. I have been skiing many years and have been very resistant to change, all my bad habits have been well ingrained. However with the help of Ed my instructor for 5 days in Mayerhofen, I actually found that with his tuition and some small changes, I could actually ski better and feel more in control. Thanks again for all your help and support and making me feel that it is possible to improve at any age.

Always worth a visit. Perfect for a cool walk or hike when the weather is hot. The water is too cold to swim unfortunately, but it's nice to refresh your toes!

Every Year when we opening our fishing season there, it‘s so breathtaking beside tourism... Lucky for fisherman to stay, where tourism isn‘t allowed to be... - this should stay as it is!
