Our family stopped to visit this Nuraghe on our way to Tempio Pausania. It's a small but beautiful Nuraghe. The kids loved to see the bats in one of the rooms. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Overall, it's good value for the price of the tickets.
Interesting quick visit. Super cute to see pipistrelli bats. They lend you a torch. €3 entrance. Not a lot to see immediately but you could hike from here I guess
A well conserved and interesting place. The place is being managed by archeologists and they are doing a good job. Tickets are 3,50 per person, or 5 with audio.
Really nice Nuraghe, takes some minutes to walk to from parking lott. Just before the site there is a restaurant. The excavation site was informative. We got a flashlight to see mini bats in one of the rooms in the Nuraghe. Very friendly staff. Recomended
Very cool site depicting the ancient history of Sardinia and it's inhabitants. Well preserved and complete, well documented and easy to find. The caretaker is very knowledgeable and speaks English. Admission for children is free and adults are only €3 each.
Beautifully conserved nuraghe in a lovely forest setting with really interesting video information that’s well worth paying the extra 1.5 euro for. Bonus baby bats 🦇😊Also, really nice and exceptionally clean toilets 😆
Amazing how people could make such a building so long ago, well preserved. Compliments for the staff and the ambiance of the place. There were even cosy and clean toilets.
Very interesting archeological site. Beautiful view from the upper floor, you can see Tempio and the mountains. The owner is a very sweet lady and knows a great amount of the place.

Mount Limbara has got the power to surprise you every visit. Snow covered, springtime, summer, fall, each season offers a variety of colors. climates and scenario. In winter through sprintime, you can find water in abundance, forming small creeks and waterfall that carve their ways in the majestic woodlands.
if you like driving trough the corners you must visit this place .. enjoy
Bella Monte Limbara…Good memories. Ciao Livorno, Napoli, et Mallorca! Is WHTFP still on the rock on former USAF site?
(Translated by Google) There were a lot of switchbacks to the finish, it made me feel a little nauseous. The view is great when visibility is good, but unfortunately it was slightly overcast for us today. The mountain is easy to reach by car, although there are a few potholes. There are numerous antennas on the mountain. A little further down there is also a small church and hiking opportunities. Worth a visit, but I wouldn't go there again.
… worth the visit - great views …

Beautiful little station!
If you want to visit this place we highly recommend the Trenino Verde Green train tour, it's a tour from Luras with historical train to Tempio, with a guided tour of the Workshop and Tempio city with lunch that includes the typical local dish. Our tour guide Giuseppe was very kind and translated everything to English, we didn't feel left out, even though the majority of the people were Italian speaking, we even made friends. It is true that a lot of the railway had a fewer views than expected, but the experience, historical value and information, food, the city itself which we didn't expect to be so unique, made up for the views. Other tours might have better views and if we ever visit Sardinia again, we'd like to try those.
Was supposed to be super but was closed totally. Should be open all the time to see paintings inside
Once, a beautiful place
(Translated by Google) old train station, easy to reach. It is close to the hospital and the courthouse. There is no coffee maker available in the area, so bring water if necessary. the only public collection of paintings by the painter of biasi from 1930. (Original) vecchia stazione ferroviaria, facile da raggiungere. È vicino all'ospedale e al tribunale.
(Translated by Google) The station was opened by a Trenino Verde train crew member 15 minutes before departure towards Luras. The station is very atmospheric due to the paintings inside. For people who are going on a Trenino Verde train trip to Luras, in my opinion it is a waste of time, the train goes through thickets, the tracks are mostly surrounded by trees and instead of the advertised beautiful scenic route we have a trip in the middle of the forest with visible fields, cows or factories at times. At times towards the end of the route in Luras there are views of the mountain range but I expected something much better. Maybe other trips in this series are more picturesque and there are more views, during this trip do not count on a bridge, tunnel or spectacular views because there are none. In Luras the station is marked on Google Maps as closed because you cannot actually enter the building because it is destroyed but it is a gathering point for the departure of the Trenino Verde train, the parking lot is small and it is worth arriving early. Tickets cannot be purchased directly on the train, only online. The train you travel on is very well restored and that's what I liked most about the whole trip. Since the station in Luras is closed, I couldn't add this review there, so maybe it will be useful to someone. (Original) Stację otwierał Pan z obsługi pociągu Trenino Verde 15min przed odjazdem w kierunku do Luras.
(Translated by Google) I had been wanting to visit this station for a long time and on Sunday we were lucky enough to be able to join a group on the green train where the guide Giuseppe was fantastic. He told us the history of the station in whose interior there are paintings by Giuseppe Biasi and the original ticket office. We went to the workshops and there another guide Francesco, also very knowledgeable, showed us the various elements present and also put the machinery into operation. Inside there is also one of the 5 wooden carriages from 1913. A gem to visit absolutely. All.

Peaceful, beautiful and great place for families
Walk in the heart of the city surrounded by nature. Peace and a sense of quiet.
(Translated by Google) Wonderful discovery not so far from Olbia! A pleasant park on summer days, far from the chaos of the beaches, relaxing, fun for children between walls, cold drinking water fountain, park games, a bit of history regarding the Second World War, an area for physical activity also for adults and children. A walk in the pine forest to reach the church of San Lorenzo, with an uphill stretch. The parking lots are free around the park, in the shade, I recommend it for spending an afternoon, until the evening, to also visit the town center.

Beautiful from the outside.
I visited this church with Ttekking urbano Tempio Pausania . Beautiful
(Translated by Google) Where was the temple of Castor and Pollux (Original) Dove era il tempio di Castore e Polluce
(Translated by Google) According to the diocesan bulletin "Gallura and Anglona" of 1927, the Oratory of the Rosary was built on the site where in ancient times there was a pagan temple dedicated to Castor and Pollux, twin sons of Jupiter and Leda, protectors of the legendary Roman garrisons present in the Tempiese territory. This thesis is supported by the presence above the main façade of the alleged statues of Castor and Pollux, of uncertain age and origin. The construction date of the Oratory is not known, but it is assumed that it dates back to around 1300. Admire the precious wooden altar and the retable from the 1700s and the small marble stoup dated 1642.
