The officer’s hands were tied to the metal plates on both the sides and drowned in the water. There was a gate here which has now been covered by ASI. At the extreme end inside the dungeon, there’s a hole which opens up a passageway to Mysore but it has now been blocked by the Government. You can see a beautiful view of the Kaveri river from the side of this place.
