There’s no staff walking around cleaning up items, instead two sitting up front doing nothing but waiting. The space needs a good dusting and cleaning too.

It was pretty pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. My mom recently informed me that the barrel had broken and the whiskey had gone all over the floor, she did not get to enjoy any of it. Apparently there were instructions that indicated you can not age it more than 4 months, I was not aware of this because I did not open it with her nor did I confirm with her how long she had aged it. I had a conversation via email with them just now and they got back to me within seconds, they are sending me a replacement directly to my mom's house here in Pittsburgh basically no questions asked. IF THAT ISN'T INCREDIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I DO NOT KNOW WHAT IS. I've always spoken highly of their products (their gin is the only gin I will touch) but this experience just gave me more reasons to talk about how absolutely wonderful they are. The tickets are 18$ which is a very steep price for what is offered. Most of the animals are far out in pasture so you cannot see them up close. The goats and llamas are the only animals you see and you get to feed and pet them. There was not a single activity to do, they only save that if you pay a whopping 165$ to do summer camp which is one day a week for 6 weeks I believe. The bathrooms are dirty and when I asked if there was a drink or food stand the reply was, no but if you need water I can get you a cup of water. Very odd. We basically paid 18$ for a small bucket of feed to give the goats. The pictures online make it look like such a fun place with tons of activities for little ones. When you show up and there is non of that, it is very disappointing. You are much better off going to the Life and Science Museum of Durham. Amazing outdoor play, farm animals up close, butterfly conservatory, food and much more. I will say though that the staff that worked at this farm were very kind.

The cow was my absolute favorite! One of my sons got close to Pablo the llama- they became buds! The pigs are adorable- they rolled over and we gave them belly rubs! It was a great family day! The only problem I've run into is the path towards Bolin Creek under the bridge. It was covered in mud coming from the slope on the side and it makes for a slippery trail especially when wet. Hopefully, this is only a seasonal thing and gets cleaned up since it is a very beautiful park with light hiking trails. Looking forward to walking my pet here too.
