Great, quiet park. Both Washington’s house and the historic train station have displays, and the Commander in Chief’s guard huts have an audio message that plays when you walk in. We visited around noon on a Sunday in late June 2025.
We stopped at Washington's Headquarters. There was restrooms here next to parking lot. You walk down the winding path to the Valley Forge Train Station which had a number of exhibits inside and air condition. You continue down the path to Washington's Headquarters where there is no air condition. There were 2 rangers here to greet visitors and multiple rooms to explore. There was also an upstairs with multiple rooms and adjoining kitchen. Just around the corner is a garage or stable like structure which also has a number of exhibits inside of it.
The trail is a loop and it will take you around and make your way back to the top.

When visiting valley forge Park there are a ton of Vistas to spend time walking around immersed in history. There's the popular picnic area near the main field. However, we enjoy going to this spot that is a little out of the way, but still has access to the walking/ hiking trails and is a central access point to various connections through the park. Park here for a picnic, public well kept and clean bathroom, before heading out for more afternoon exploration.

You walk down the winding paved path to the Valley Forge Train Station which had a number of exhibits inside and air condition. we honestly didn't even know this was here but you are forced to passed by it on your way to Washington's Headquarter. It's a nice break you can take inside. There was literally no one here when we visited. It was eerily quiet. There are exhibits with screens but nothing was turned on and there are benches here to sit. Washington headquarters' itself is not air conditioned so this is a great rest area on a hot summer's day.

The best thing about this bridge is the walking trails surrounding it. The added bonus is if you park at the Yellow Springs Trail parking lot, you are treated to a campy, restroom with no-flush toilets or running water. We went in early July, and the place was beautiful. The bridge looks bigger in the pictures, and we thought it looked like it could use a little love and a coat of white paint. All that being said, it's one of the more unique of the 66 covered bridges we've seen in the state. There was also some great access to the creek from the Valley Creek Trail. Lots of people out on a really hot and humid day. Based on the amount of traffic, you could tell that you were really close to a heavily populated area. King of Prussia Mall is just 10 minutes away.

Knox Covered Bridge was built in 1865 to replace an earlier bridge that was washed away in a flood. The single lane bridge which spans Valley Creek was rebuilt in the mid-20th century and strengthened to accommodate vehicular traffic. It is said that the name "Knox" is derived from General Henry Knox, who had his quarters in the old farm house to the east of the bridge during the Valley Forge encampment.
Although easily accessible via the number of hiking trails in the area, Knox Covered Bridge is very active with traffic, and caution should be exercised when visiting.

Nice flat, easy walk alongside the creek. There are several benches to stop and sit at if you'd like a break. Can be a bit crowded on weekends so wear a mask! Plenty of families, couples, and dogs out on the trail. Only downside is that right on the other side of the creek is a road with a relatively high level of traffic. Not too noisy but certainly reminds you that you're not far from civilization or fully immersed in nature. There's some history to learn about this whole area and a few markers teaching about it/a phone tour. Sometimes there's rangers walking around that you can ask any questions too!

Other than the government shutdown, (no restrooms) this place was amazing. We learned so much. We were here the first week in November, colors were beautiful. Not too many ppl, the ones we saw and interacted with were kind and engaging. The park ranger we talked to was kind and very helpful. We did the auto tour and it was exceptional.

I was happy with everything about the casino. The food is good, the drinks are free if you're playing games, you have a smoking place with games which is nice. The machine I was playing malfunctioned with over 600 dollars in it and although it took them an hour to figure it out they made sure I got my money and were very nice about it. We heard this was a great place to Boondock so we pulled in one night! Now we’re gamblers so the first thing we did was go inside! After playing for hours we had pretty much Brookhaven so we were happy with that. I think the downside was actually the food. The display marquee has what looks like a great Mexican restaurant and a great Asian restaurant but it turns out they’re both in the food court. Not really what we were expecting, but it did satisfy our appetites. The Center bar was our favorite place.!

I was expecting a Boyd property like their Vegas properties. The size of the casino was so small, it was laughable. Hardly any video keno, very little video poker and no bubble craps. A lot of the same machines, not a good mix. Staff acted like you were bothering them if you asked questions. As for the room it wasn't bad. I was glad we were able to use our comps so it was free. I wouldn't have paid for a room there. It was far from the casino and again staff had very little personality and not very inviting. No actual gift shop just a weird vending machine. It was a decent hotel/casino. Few issues that will probably keep me from coming back...1) there are no snacks anywhere in the stardust tower. Like...drink vending on every floor but a 10 minute walk if you need a lil snack. Not a huge deal, but not convenient at all. 2) 8am on a Saturday is a pretty dumb time to do loud construction...couldn't sleep in after spending a late night in the casino. Pretty crappy. 3) an hour an a half before checkout, housekeeping just walked into our room. Used their key without knocking and just came right in. Not great. Wasn't the worst, but won't be back.

We visited on Memorial Day weekend, and were welcomed warmly to the Chapel's Sunday Episcopal service. Built in 1903, this stunning Gothic Revival church includes a bell tower, breezeway and sculpture courtyard. In an alcove by the entrance we discovered a Justice Bell, a 1915 replica of the Liberty Bell created to support voting rights for women.There's also a statue tribute to Lafayette, since he led some of the Valley Forge troops. Behind the chapel is a graveyard honoring veterans from the war for independence to the present. Nearby is a statue of Nathaniel Greene, Quartermaster General of the Revolutionary War. Greene was also a Commander of the Southern Army during the war.

We visited on a early Sunday afternoon in late June 2025.
The last stop we made at Valley Forge National Historical Park was at Washington Memorial Chapel. It just looked so cool on the outside we decided to pull over and stop. The main parking lot was full but there is an additional parking lot on the side.
You are able to walk into the bottom of the tower and look around. There are some info kiosks/signs. It's just beautiful in here. There was no one else in the tower when we visited. This is an actual church and has services and we were there on a Sunday.
There is also a gift shop and cafe in the back of the church in a separate building.

We visited around noon on a Sunday in late June 2025.
National Memorial Arch was our second stop after leaving the visitor center. We where hear close to noon and it was hard to get a nice photo. The best place was actually form underneath in it's shadow. Sadly there were a number of people here and hard to get a photo with no one else in it. You park at the bottom of the hill and have to walk up to the arch. It is a paved walkway. There were a few cars in the parking lot when we arrived. Many other seem to get here by bike or hiking.
The arch was much larger than we thought it was going to be and it was very ornate with a lot of features on it.
