She is incredibly personable, and if I ever needed another event hosted I would love to have her be in charge again. 5 stars is not nearly enough (even though it is a perfect score) to give her and the Putnam as I am extremely well pleased with both setting up and taking down the reception. Emily was also able to “make stuff work” that we wanted. To make that night, my wife and I’s special day. She was so kind and was able to explain the packages that we could choose from to make the event PERFECT. The ability to have my guests go through the museum and entertain themselves was also an amazing opportunity! A massive thanks to Emily and the Putnam for putting together something so special for my wife and I. Emily may be just be the perfect person to have for every occasion for ANY event. We got to sit with the radio announcer for an inning, and then with the production team and stadium announcer in their rooms. I gave each of my girls a baseball and Sharpie, so when they got back to the dugout the players all signed their baseballs! It is a keepsake that will forever be theirs to remind them of another wonderful experience. A different company I worked for let our department use their suite for a game. That was a great experience as well. Besides all of the various baseball games I have been able to attend, I have also went there for a Hootie and the Blowfish concert and a sports card show. That stadium always becomes a warm, welcoming memory every time I go there. The parking spaces were decorated, the building was in bright colors. Upon going in, there was no wait and it was $9/ per person which for me being from the Chicago land area was unheard of. The climbing tower thingy was so much fun, and they had loads of centers. Vet, fire station, bakery, grocery store and a few others. I did not go upstairs because we were killing time until a wedding and dressed for it, but was informed they had a series of different arts and crafts. Their gift shop was small, but unlike our area, things were pretty reasonably priced. My kid picked out gifts for four people and only spent $17. We spent 2 hours easily and of we had gone upstairs I think I would have spent another hour easily. If I'm in the area again, I would definitely go.

Service is friendly, and prices are reasonable. One word of caution: If you are on a road-trip and hoping for a quick stop (as we were) be warned it won’t be quick. This was my first time ever coming here so I didn't know what to expect. The appetizers we ordered were amazing. It has plenty of sauce and the croutons were nice and crunchy, but the entire salad tasted like pesticide. This was confirmed by another guest at the table. The horseradish encrusted salmon was another major disappointment. The mushroom rice pilaf the salmon arrived on was very bland. The rice was cooked perfectly, there was just no flavor. I ordered my salmon medium rare, unfortunately it was very overcooked to a medium well. The horseradish crust was very subtle tasting but a nice addition to the dish, but not enough to help mask how dry the salmon was. When you're paying a premium for an entree, you expect more. My wife ordered the shrimp scampi alfredo that was actually pretty good, though it could have used a little more sauce. The shrimp was cooked perfectly. We decided to check out the martinis since it's in the name of the restaurant. I went with the Apple Fashion that is pictured, it was pretty good! The first sip was very strong, but it mellowed out slightly as it went down. Other guests in our party ordered some form of beef and we're not disappointed with their orders. On a separate note, the restroom is located down a flight of stairs in the basement and is a little sketchy, but clean nonetheless. Overall it was a positive experience. The service was great and the appetizers are amazing, but I will certainly not be ordering fish the next time I go. The drinks, in my opinion, taste delicious but are overpriced. It's definitely worth checking out at least once. I recommend this restaurant.

As we browsed, we noticed a HUGE pile of board games along the opposite wall. I’m not sure if these were for public use but, if so, it’s the largest collection I’ve seen for people to use. I could see some of my friends willingly coming here for our nerd hangouts. We didn’t purchase any books since we both had large backlogs to deal with but if I get the chance to go back up to the Quad Cities, I am definitely stopping back in to grab a few Stephen King books and maybe more. I used to enjoy shopping at Greatest Grains before they closed in 2019 (specifically for bulk foods) and haven't stopped by since. There are shelves of books lining most of the walls throughout, with no real rhyme or reason to their organization. A faded wood floor (either by design or actual age) covers the entire space. This was my first experience at this venue and I was not disappointed. The line moved quickly getting people inside shortly after doors opened. They are kind and helpful to those of us with disabilities rewiring ADA options. We choose to sit in the back at this venue had sloped seating. We were able to have a great view of the entire show and sit comfortably. The event we went to was Social Distortion with opening act Plague Vendor. Both bands put on a great show. I have seen Social D venue, but this setlist was way different than the lady time, which was cool. The lines moved quick to get beverages and snacks. The only reason I didn't give this venue 5 stars was because the only food they had was small bags of chips. Their website indicated a much bigger venue with dinner-like options. We purposely didn't eat beforehand thinking we'd be getting food at the show. By far the only downside. The staff let's people go iut front to smoke and come back in without having to buy another ticket, provided you had your hand stamped. The hallways weren't super wide, so leaving was a little busy, but not the artist I've experienced. Bathrooms were available nearby the exits of the concert hall. A great mid-sized venue to see someone without being so far away. Though, I think next time I will go with balcony seats. Seems like the view would be great. Thanks to the staff and everyone for being so nice. Definitely recommend this spot.

The venue itself was great. The theatre is beautiful and the staff were all very friendly. They offered a full bar with specialty themed drinks for the show. They have a great rugby program with a lot of phenomenal rugby alumni mentors at your disposal. With that being said, a lot of the best teachers are being let go and teachers with less experience and knowledge are being hired. They let go a professor that truly changed my life, not only education-wise, but personally and then some thereafter. The money spent is on renovations of the school which I personally think is less important than the education of the students. Also, how they handle their loans after school is extremely inappropriate. So like I said, if you are going to Palmer for rugby, it's a great experience, but I'm sure there are better options for the chiropractic parts. I do hope they move in a better direction going forward.
