Thats when we called the reception and they sent a service man to come and look. Apparently there is no cooling here only heating during winter. No matter what setting was put in the thermostat it didn't help. Solution was to open the window, which helped a little but still, the temperature came down only to 27.5c during the night. Also breakfast was not that tasty. Note to foreign travellers, Amex and Mastercard did not work here for paying deposit. Location is a bit far from the attractions of Harbin. Service was good, and apologetic with regards of our issues during the stay. Also breakfast options were not so tasty and variety was limited compared to many other hotels. Evening snack wonton's and noodles were excellent though! Unfortunately cannot recommend staying here, as even with the level of service, the premises are having fundamental issues which weaken the quality of the stay.

I booked a premier river view room and I was given a larger corner room, which I appreciated.
