On the second night again only one other table - I wonder why? The space had a nice feel, they lit a citronella candle for us to keep the bugs away but the seat covers were a little stained and there were no place settings on the tables. We ordered 2 starters the beef rendang cones and the corn fritters - both delicious. (as pictured) Then main course I had the ribs, my partner the pork belly both delicious both with the salad as a side. For pudding the banana fritters - oh dear! Three x length ways halves of banana in a very thick and without flavour batter - the fritter batter was lighter - I left these as they were unpalatable. I did make the waitress aware but they didn't offer to take off the bill etc. The 2nd night we had the same starters again and both had the ribs (as pictured) - this is why we returned - OMG they were awful - half the size of the ribs I had previously and mine were full of gristle and fat. We also had the salad and this was again a smaller portion in a smaller bowl (previously a cereal sized bowl). Thoroughly disappointed, safe to say we didn't have a pudding and didn't return. Restaurants should offer consistency - the waiting staff were lovely but the kitchen and owner need to discuss portion sizes.

We were given a glass of water which is normal nice to receive in hot weather, except the water was warm. I ordered a chicken tikka masala and garlic bread. The favour was good as was the heat. Normal chicken tikka is chicken breast and cooked on skewers but this was chicken thighs and not cooked on skewers. The garlic bread was ok but not what I expected. It certainly wasn’t cooked in a tandoori oven. It looked like it came out of a package as it wasn’t freshly made. Overall I was disappointed. It’s the first curry I’ve eaten in Bali and it’s probably put me off spending money on another.

They also give you complimentary prawn chips, garlic bread and shot of juice. Service - 10/10. Staff were VERY attentive and were friendly. They even turned on the fans for us as it was very hot. I went to have a chat to the chefs just to give them credit for their skills. They appreciated it. Overall, amazing food, amazing staff and amazing restaurant. HIGHLY recommend you try this.

On the day three of our stay ive ordered Sambal matha to oure takeaway meal from them as its the best ive ate in Bali so far. Highly recommend!!! The staff is super attentive and with alot of kindness. You would be served with fresh orange juice and crackers on arrival as complimentary.
