Firstly, my starter was forgotten, so I was sat waiting while everyone else had theirs. The staff were friendly and helpful and made you feel welcome. This was our first time at a Mitchell Star restaurant and we were not disappointed, everything was cooked lovely and the care and attention to detail was appreciated. The beef roast was delicious, as expected, but the venison roast was a delightful surprise. We also had squid as a starter, which was phenomenal. We are not regular Thai eaters but the staff were great at helping with the menu and very friendly. The best thing about this restaurant is they don't use any dairy, the milk is coconut milk so my wife could eat whatever she wanted on the menu,5 stars for that alone. We were in Kenilworth for a dog show and had to find a place for dinner. The place provided high chair and they had changing facilities in the bathroom (you may think it’s a standard but it’s not everywhere) The owner/new manager was there ensuring everything went smoothly and they were very accommodating in providing foods that were actually not in the menu (but my toddler is a fussy eater). We ordered beef roast and it was a superb quality meat, and lemon sole. It was a whole fish made as the French make it, with butter and some capers. Divine! We also had a side of cauliflower cheese which was also very tasty. The menu is not very extensive which is absolutely fine, again it’s good to have just a few choices on the list but absolutely smash them. Having said that, going forward it would be nice if they rotate the menu or have some different specials each week so we get to try other things next time. It was reasonably priced too if you think of the quality of the produce. I wish them good luck and we will be back!!! Keep up the good work

Once for a battered mars bar as a treat, and once for some scampi and chips. Having asked for two (mars bars), and arriving home to see a lonely one, I chalked it up to a small mistake and didn’t think much of it. However, ordering some proper food, I realised that this establishment clearly didn’t worry about quality control. Anaemic chips and overcooked scampi couldn’t have prepared me for the worst mushy peas I’ve ever had (I do love my mushy peas, so the bar is very low for me to belt up and eat away). I’m not one to usually write reviews, less so when I didn’t enjoy it, but I feel the stark contrast in quality compared to the surrounding options has to be highlighted. However, Sonny greeted me warmly and opened so I could sit indoors and take a few work calls. The location is perfectly placed opposite a Hotel. Firstly the place has been decorated to a stunning standard. It is spotless inside and out. I ordered the Korma, Keema Naan, Egg Fried Rice & poppadoms. Without a shadow of a doubt this is one of the best curries I have ever had. The portion sizes are very generous. The keema naan was amazing.
