Travelling through Montana and stopped in Great Falls where the first place we had been recommended as celiac-friendly was closed. MRP happened to be open and boy are we glad! We loved it so much we even joined their rewards system. 😂 Not being limited to only a couple of things on a menu is always a joy, but actually having a separate gluten-free menu and knowledgeable staff is next level. Even though it's not stated on the menu they can actually make any of the sandwiches gluten-free by using the pizza crust as a base in which to build the sandwich! We made this our final stopping point for the night before reaching our destination. 1900 miles down. Checked into a hotel around 7 pm and started researching where to eat. Landed on MacKenzie River Pizza Co. Wow, what a great experience. The Great Falls Police department was in the restaurant helping the servers and talking to people to raise money for the Special Olympics. What a great service as they were volunteering their services in full uniform. We spoke with one of them that was from Chicago recently. She was extremely nice and cordial. Also, hats off to the owners for hosting this fundraiser and donations from certain pizzas. The servers were all smiling and fantastic. Your drinks will not go empty. Now for the food. It was fantastic. I had the cheese ravioli and the helping was huge with 2 breadsticks. I loved it and I am a little picky according to my wife. Wedge salad was very good and fresh. My wife had the tomato basil pizza and thought it was spectacular. Thank you for such a great experience.

I might not have been able to smell the Parmesan and.. easily could have taken a bite.. which would have resulted in either vomiting or my throat swelling.. unless I used my EpiPen. At this point.. the Manager comes out. She is not apologetic at all. She is visibly angry.. at me!! She obviously didn’t believe (and didn’t care) that I had an allergy. I tried politely explaining that I have a true allergy to the mold in aged cheeses. I told her that I… (1) informed my server about the allergy, (2) asked about the ingredients to confirm the menu, (3) and then asked for a very simple change (no pesto and obviously no extra Parmesan!). She made it sound like it was MY fault.. (1) the kitchen ignored my allergy request 2 times, (2) the menus do not accurately list main ingredients, (3) and that her kitchen and serving staff are not adequately trained. It gets even better. Unbelievable. I should have been the one that was angry, but I like to educate uninformed people. I have a friend who died from eating a cookie with alternate ingredients that were not disclosed. Allergies are something that should be treated with great respect. I strongly encourage anyone with allergies to be safe and never eat at the Celtic Cowboy.

I wanted to try one final restaurant before my next morning departure back home, so my family and I opted for Dante's on the evening of 13 Aug 2024. We made reservations out of habit because living in Las Vegas (LV), it's always highly recommended that you make reservations at certain restaurants, especially the popular ones. Needless to say, we didn't really need to make reservations because when we arrived, the restaurant wasn't busy at all (probably since it was a Tuesday evening). We were nicely greeted by the hostess that evening and quickly escorted to our table which was situated right next to the window. This seat was especially wonderful that evening because during our meal, it started raining outside which added to the tranquil atmosphere, rustic décor, and wonderful company from my family. Although I'm more of a modern décor type of person (hence why I enjoy living in LV), I did appreciate this restaurant's architecture/design; it definitely matched the historic nature of the city. With respect to our food and drinks, we ordered the Bear Proof Huckleberry Old Fashioned, Smith and Hook Cab, and Shirley Temple for our drinks; Bacon-Wrapped Filet Mignon, Chicken Parmigiana, and New York Steak for our entrées; and the Chocolate Volcano for our dessert. I don't recall the last time I've been to a restaurant with my family and we didn't order any appetizers, but this was one of those situations and a rare moment for us - probably due to having a robust brunch session earlier in the day. The Old Fashioned was different compared to the traditional way of preparing it, but it was a good twist on the creation of the drink utilizing what appears to be the fruit staple of Great Falls...Huckleberry. I've tried the Smith and Hook Cab before and no major complaints here; and the Shirley Temple was adequate. The Filet and Chicken Parm were satisfactory, but I cannot say the same about the New York Steak. Unfortunately for me, my steak was less than adequate - it lacked flavor and was overcooked. Could I have asked the server for another steak? Yes, but I chose not to because (1) I didn't want to stay longer since we had more things to accomplish that evening; and (2) if a restaurant that identifies themselves as "fine dining" according to Google, then I shouldn't have to ask to remake another one - it should've been correctly prepared the first time. Regardless, I had enough steaks in my lifetime, so I didn't lose sleep over it. And finally, the bread and balsamic dip that arrived in the beginning, along with the dessert were good. The service from the entire restaurant staff was wonderful and our main server, Misty, did a great job that evening. I did notice one of the servers walking around with a giant pepper grinder and was curious if that device was supposed to have made it to our table at one point. I kept forgetting to ask our server, but didn't think anything of it since I was able to adapt and overcome the pepper barrier and utilized the pepper shaker that's on every table - no issues there. Overall, I will say that this restaurant was just ok...hence my 3-star rating. This restaurant did not fully meet my expectations, especially since I was hoping for some top of the line and exquisite culinary experience due to how this restaurant advertises their business online (kudos to their marketing team). I'm sure this restaurant is very popular with the residents in Great Falls and its surrounding cities/towns, but for me, I've had way better restaurants in and out of the United States. However, if you're visiting Great Falls or a resident, and have never tried this restaurant, I am still recommending this place to you - I hope you have a better first-time experience than I did.

The back area is great since it's away from the main counter, and has more plugs available if you're using a laptop. Though the furniture isn't as comfortable if you're staying for extended periods of time. The staff are always warm and welcoming whenever I come in, and I love the XL option for coffee! The pastries and food are pretty good, and the cinnamon rolls are amazing, but it can get expensive quick if you order a lot, but if you're just getting coffee, it's fine. We won the ability to eat there after paying. Pizza was ok, chicken was great and sides were great. The dining room setup I did not care for that much there are dividing walls everywhere makes it a little claustrophobic. The buffet area is great and the first thing that welcomes you after you pay. The FunZone was fun but we thought the one in Billings has more games. The space is big but the games are even bigger (like huge) and there spread out so it's nice and spread out. We were a little annoyed that we had to buy another game card and start over because the other locations are independent and not incorporated into one system. The games are all working well but the claw machines are set incredibly light so you don't pull up to much and they do not have some of our favorite games but had ALOT of new games we have never seen. All in all it was a fun grand opening and we won 9136 tickets from a $35 game card and spent $29 on 2 buffets. We were not planning on dropping $70 on lunch so it won't be an everyday sort of thing but was a fun way to spend 7 hrs (the 5 hrs in front of the store waiting was even fun hanging out with my wife) Anyone will have a great time here and a kids birthday party would be nuts. We shared a Chicago Fire calzone without the sweet Italian sausage. There is a particular seasoning (not sure the name of it) in most Italian sausage I just don't care for. It came with Ranch. Pretty sure the menu said marinara, but I could be wrong. We asked for marinara but never received it. The calzone we received was huge and looked fantastic, but it tasted like it didn't have any meat of any kind in it at all. I had to open it up to see what was inside. It appeared to have two or three slices of pepperoni that were diced up into 739 tiny pieces (no, I didn't actually count them). The online menu lists only pepperoni and sweet Italian sausage, but I'm pretty sure the hand held menus we received also included salami. I'm posting two pics. One is a screenshot of the calzone from the website. The other pic is what I actually received. Guess which one is which. We watched a couple of pizzas go past us to other tables. Wife said they looked just like the pictures in the menu. Maybe they were good. I don't know, but I guarantee the calzone isn't anywhere near what the menu describes. The time it took to get all this was not great. Overall everything tasted pretty good. The service was good but a bit unhelpful. The restaurant looks nice but not the vibe I like for hot pot. We ended up feeling very rushed because she brought the bill as we were unsure if we going to get dessert. We were told the manager would be finishing up something in the kitchen and would be out in a few minutes. 30 minutes later the manager finally came out looked at us and walked back into the kitchen. We waited a few more minutes she never came back out. I have never had a manager purposely ignore a customer. Needless to say we will never be back.

I had a list of restaurants to try during our stay and The Montana Club was on the list because I've heard good things about this business...not to mention, their online reviews seemed legitimate. We left our hotel and headed towards the restaurant immediately because I realized this restaurant closes at 9 pm, which was surprising to me considering it was a Friday night. Living in Las Vegas, it's often forgetful that other cities actually close down early. When we walked in, the restaurant wasn't busy at all (go figure, right...considering the time we arrived). Our hostess didn't seem as enthusiastic when we walked in (perhaps she just had a rough day at home and/or work), so I try not to have that affect my rating of a restaurant as much unless it was significantly negative...but it was clearly noticeable. Regardless, she still sat us down and away from other customers, which I appreciated. On the other hand, our main server, Shelby, did such a phenomenal job the entire evening. She was very friendly; highly efficient, professional, attentive, and operated at a fast speed...these are traits that other employees could learn to emulate in Great Falls. More often than not, service at restaurants tend to go downhill towards closing hours because everyone is excited to go home, so the service can be hit-or-miss at times. But there's no doubt about Shelby's profound customer service and what she brought to the table (figuratively and literally), especially during the final hour of her shift. We ordered the 8-piece Buffalo-flavored Wings for our appetizer; Huckleberry Filet w/Creamy Southwest Chicken Soup, Chicken Parmesan w/Caesar Salad, and Seafood Primavera w/Clam Chowder for our entrées; and Huckleberry Crème Brûlée for our dessert. The wings were pretty spicy; normally, I love spicy food, but as I've gotten older, it seems my tolerance has significantly declined. The flavor of the sauce was slightly different from the majority of Buffalo Wings I've tried in and out of this country...but, it was different in a magnificent way. The Chicken Parmesan was flavorful and could probably feed 300 Roman soldiers (ok, not that drastic, but you know what I mean). The Seafood Primavera was just ok; I've definitely had my fair share of outstanding seafood-centric pastas in my life, especially in Las Vegas...but unfortunately, this entrée didn't do it for me. Both soups were good and the Huckleberry Crème Brûlée was the star performer of the evening! The Huckleberry Filet had a nice char and was adequately seasoned; however, the temperature wasn't accurate to what we ordered (we received rare-to-medium rare, when we ordered medium). Fortunately, Shelby was nice enough to take back the steak and have it placed on the grill longer. When the steak was brought back out, it seemed that they cooked an entirely new steak which we appreciated, but it still was cooked around medium rare. At this point, it was close to their closing hour so we just ate it (I didn't mind it as much, but it was my wife's steak). I know some may argue with me, but I feel that the prices were very reasonable at this restaurant. I've had the luxury of trying restaurants of every caliber and believe me, the price-to-quantity/quality ratio is adequate. I especially respect this restaurant for their continued support to the active men and women of the Armed Forces, including its Veterans - thank you for that! Overall, I recommend this restaurant to all locals and visitors.

Ordered one Garlic Beef and one Yu Shun Chicken and one Egg Fried Rice. As per menu Beef and Chicken dishes supposed to be hot and spicy but none of them was. After checking with Manager she came back and said that no one ever complaint about this before and she can take it back but we still have to pay. We were not happy about it but there was no way that we could eat that beef dish. When the bill came Manager/owner did remove the beef dish form the bill and that was very nice of him as we only took one bite each. Palace was big but basic. Server doesn’t come out as friendly she was very blunt. Place was busy and May be popular among locals but we didn’t like their food.

Came across this place and thought to give it a try. The servers were very kind. Seating was smooth. The restaurant was quite busy. We ordered hot and sour soup, kung pao from the chef’s special, huana shrimps on servers recommendation, and egg fried rice. The service was pretty quick. Steamed rice were served with two curry dishes. Soup was okayish so was huana shrimps but the star of the day was kung pao, it was yummy. When we went there, they were in the middle of remodeling and half the floor was torn up. Then the kicker is im eating and I asked my girlfriend for a biscuit and ITS NOT THERE. WHAT. So I can leave my food and let it get cold and drive all the way back just so they can finish my order. No compensation nothing. But I do it anyways and when I get there not a single employee had any clue about the messed up order, so they then make us explain it again and then wait for them to make up the food. My girlfriend then explains and gets pissed about the lack of care and professionalism. They proceed to tell us we’re not getting compensation of any kind and then FORGOT OUR SAUCES AGAIN. We tell him he forgot the sauce and HE PUTS THE WRONG ONES IN THE BAG. Not to mention the manager was the one who refused compensation or to even come out and apologize. No care no professionalism and the food does not nearly make up for how terrible and awful every single one of these employees were. The manager working closing shift on 9/3 deserves to be fired along with all the other embarrassing employees here.
