Our bartender was simply awesome as she was so welcoming and made it feel like it was a neighborhood spot even though we are in Minneapolis. There was a good size wedding group there and based on viewing the food they ordered, all 4 of us were impressed. You need to consider adding them to your bucket list when you are in the area or make it a road trip and add them to your list. Awesome levity and ironically, no grumpyness! The spaghetti was decent but the shrimp tacos were poorly seasoned and had a lot of cheese that didn’t blend well with the cabbage and crema.

We had an omelette with hash browns and homemade white toast. The omelette was delicious. The hasbrowns were made perfectly. The homemade white buttered toast just melted in your mouth. When we stopped in today around 2 it wasn’t busy (3 people at the bar). My husband and I were both impressed with Pineapple Dazed— the spicy hatch chiles paired perfectly with the sweet pineapple and corn, the sourness of the pickled onion, and the creaminess of the kewpie mayo— so much yumminess! We were less impressed with Hog Heaven— honestly, it was just bland— none of the ingredients stood out. We ended up taking home 3 pieces of this and I will say that it was actually better cold— the flavors popped! I think with some tweaking this one could also be great.
