We met the owner of the restaurant a very gentle man who gave us a tour inside the place where many celebrities who visited west Bank dined there. The bar is well equiped and arabic food is mostly served. Prices are quite normal. Its worth a visit and try the dishes.

Very nice and friendly cafe. The service is really perfect. There is a cold beer and margherita. It was a taco night but taco is not tasty. The hamburger is almost the same as fast food restaurant. The french fries is the cheapest from market deepfreese. The tomatos is also from market , they can find better and tasty ones in every corner in Ramallah. I’ve been to Cafe La Vie 3 times during my stay in Ramallah! It has a gorgeous and relaxed outside area to sit with friends, a great menu full of food, and very friendly waiters. The place is a bit overcrowded and noisy, but the staff are efficient and the location is extremely close to Almanara and Alsa’a square, Ramallah altahta, masyoun.

I had a great time! It's so nice being right next to the fresh (and bustling) produce market in a hostel with a kitchen. This was my first time to Palestine and I can't recommend it enough. I never felt unsafe. Felt important to visit Palestine, especially as someone with Jewish heritage. Ramallah has a less conservative vibe than other cities, and there are even some cool bars here and there that Area D can recommend to you.
This is a great hostel to meet other travelers, folks studying/working here, and English-speaking locals. You can also take a day trip to Nablus and try the best Knafeh.

A truly amazing hostel in ramallah where you can have a good rest and enjoy their super gorgeous view "in" the hostel.
The staff and the environment here is so nice, and the bathrooms are very clean. Also, they hold different events to travel to other Palestinian cities every day.
Their location is also convenient which is near the heart of ramallah city. It will only take you 5 minutes walk to experience the local life.
It's near the mosque although the location may be a little bit hard to find while they will give you clear information before you visit.
So don't worry about anything and just don't hesitate to come to Ramallah and enjoy your night in Area D hostel.

I was initially worried about Ramallah but it felt very safe. I caught a bus from just outside the Arab Quarter of the Old City in Jerusalem and arrived an hour or so later. Walking around feels very safe and the people are very welcoming.

My daughter, granddaughter and I came to the Hostel after a bad experience in a local apartment, and it was like heaven to be in this clean and bright place with such welcoming staff, friendly travellers, and spectacular views of downtown Ramallah and beyond. We felt immediately at home in the spacious room we were given, and in the comfortable common room, kitchen. and dining room. The location is great, right above the busy open market but quiet because of being on the 5th floor. Because we'd be staying a couple of weeks, they gave us a break on the cost, so it's very affordable. I really can't say enough positive things about this place. What may be most relevant to women visiting Palestine, is that we feel very safe, comfortable, as though with family.

Presentation, taste, fresh ingredients, appropriate prices... This place has it all. This place is in my opinion an essential restaurant to visit if you're in Ramallah and want to eat truly good food. The flavors are delicate, the portions are generous. The only thing that may stand out is the mediocre service but that can be overlooked with the fact the great care taken in preparing the the meals you ask for.
Large variety of Mediterranean salads and main dishes prepared extremely well. Fair warning though, there are no truly desirable dessert offerings. The panacotta is dry and I doubt any of the desserts are prepared in house which could explain the disparity in quality.
-1 star only for the average service and lack of dessert options, otherwise the rest of what you'll have at this place is as perfect as it can get.

It was much better than I expected. The appetizer plates were all fantastic. They even include seafood soup! I ordered the salmon, and I was shocked to see that it comes with 2 pieces. My dad ordered the sea bass. My mom shared from my plate and my dad's. Only 130 shekels for each entre' plate, and then 50 shekels for anyone not ordering an entre' but eating the appetizers.
