The staff was friendly, and although they didn't know who it was, that smoked the meats (or just didn't want to tell me), they were knowledgeable as well. The pulled pork nachos were really good, and the pickled jalapeños added a nice touch of heat. For my entree, I ordered the combination plate of brisket and chicken. Be prepared to be hungry when you arrive because the portions are huge! I received a while leg quarter for my chicken portion! Starting with chicken, it was moist and delicious with a hint of smoke. The brisket was so so, and the first few pieces were served cool, almost cold for me and another guest at our table. The catfish was also fantastic and some of the best I've ever had, to be honest. The cornmeal crust was crunchy, and the fish was flaky and moist. This was one of the best BBQ places I've been to in this area (not including St Louis and KC). I am giving it a 4 due to the cold brisket, and the floor was slick with something...not sure what? I would definitely dine here again.

It might’ve could’ve used a little bit more portion wise, but it was absolutely tasty and good. I kind of have a problem with sausage that has a strong anise flavor (that’s the licorice flavor) but honestly, that is a personal preference some people love it I will say that OMP has this business practice that I hate. They have a 3% up charge if you use a credit card. I know that a lot of people are doing it, but it is a cost of doing business. It would be like them adding $20 an hour for the cook in the back. I personally tried the no hitter burger and the chicken sandwich, and they were both outstanding. I got extra toppings (pickles, tomato, and onion) on the burger, and it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! And to top it all off, the service was astounding! They give our favorite Texas BBQ joints a run for their money. The brisket was perfect, with a very nice bark. Probably one of my favorites. The spare ribs were perfectly cooked. Boyfriend loves them, I would have like some sweetness in the rub but that's just a personal preference, they were very tasty so no complaints from me. The sausage is made in house. I think my boyfriend was in love. I think their sides outdo just about every bbq place we've been to. We had a very creamy coleslaw and the corn casserole was addictive. I could go in for just that. CATI BBQ is about 6 mins from there. We are from Texas so it felt like home rolling in and see all of the TX decor and meeting the owner. Our food was great. I had the tacos and ended up getting a second order. The potato salad was just how I like it, on the “sweeter” salad. My hubs got brisket, elote and the beans. They were all so good. It’s the closest BBQ and fixings that we’ve had in many months since being gone from TX. As for the seating, it’s outside, there isn’t an enclosed area but there are big fans hanging down. I would def go back! I love that they also offer other services like catering and smoking your meat. It was a great find in Branson west, outside of the city.

My family and I left Silver Dollar City starving and wanted some barbecue and saw this place was highly rated nearby so we figured we'd give it a shot. The guy at the window was so nice and helpful. He told us all the pulled pork was already sold out. He offered to give us free samples which was nice. We ended up getting a mix of ribs and brisket. Some of the brisket was lean and some had more of the fat on it create also got a side of baked beans. I just don't understand how this place is getting so highly rated. The ribs were not good at all. Very little flavor and dry. Three of us got ribs and all of us thought they were not very good. You definitely had to add sauce to them to make them decent. The brisket that was fattier was pretty good, but the side that was more lean was definitely once again dry and very little flavor. All four of us got the baked beans and thought they were just okay. This is really sad because after meeting the people I wanted to give this place a great review but unfortunately the food just wasn't that good. Portion sizes were good though for the price. We go to Silver Dollar City all the time so we really wanted to like this place.

Needless to say we now know why this place never has the crowd some of the other food places have. We will not be returning here anytime soon.
