It was not even 1pm when I placed my order and they were already out of fish! I had to settle for the fish bites which weren't amazing. You get a buzzer once you've made and paid for your order so this was a good ordering system. Only takeaway is possible but you'll be able to eat along the wharf as there are picnic tables available with umbrellas. Good location.

This is a convenient rest stop, nestled close to the Kopu Bridge. With easy parking, this cafe is surprisingly spacious inside and includes a tasty range of kiwi cafe style food and friendly staff. Added extras for the site include two EV charging stations, located to the left of the cafe. A real find for EV drivers in the area, this avoids having to queue for the only other charging station (ChargeNet) behind Thames Library where you can only plug in one car at a time, despite having two plugs! The cafe is also co-located with a Bendon outlet, Hauraki Hunting and Fishing and a Franklin vets. This is definitely my new favourite rest stop.

Coffee (latte) was average, somewhat weak but enjoyable enough. The look of the cafe was dark, needing a paint and repairs, furniture needs an upgrade as old and chair was unsteady. Overall, the atmosphere was poor and gave me a negative experience. Staff were friendly though.
