We had dinner at this fine dine mexican restaurant. The restaurant was amazing and clean. When we sat down we were given chips and salsa. With chips and salsa we also ordered guacamole and queso combo. We were 5 people so we ordered lots of food which included Veggie Fajita, Chicken Fajita, Chicken Enchiladas and for desert we ordered Mango Tres Leches. The service was also amazing and we got our food real quickly. We didnt had to wait much for the food.
Chips and Salsa: The chips and salsa were amazing and the salsa was one of the best that i had.
Queso and Guacamole: The queso we thought could be better but we loved the guacamole as well as its presentation.
Veggie Fajita: Veggie Fajitas were amazing and it had all kind of green veggies with right amount of portion for 2 people.
Chicken Fajita: Chicken Fajitas were also amazing and had a right amount of portion.
Chicken Enchilada: Chicken enchilada were also amazing and delicious.
Mango Tres Leches: Mango tres leches were the standout dish and everyone loved it. It was finger licking. Do try this out.

Had a great time at the Tequila Dinner. Its $50 per person and it includes a four course meal that each one comes with a different tequila mixed drink. Along with three shots of tequila. The atmosphere is great and you also get a little history lesson about the tequila. I tried the fish, believe it was red snapper, but not a fan. The veal was amazing. I dont know if the meals are the same for the regular menu but overall really good. Great service too.

Amazing Food and drinks!! I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. I have gone there in the afternoons around 2-ish and it has been quick seating and service. Their top-shelf guacamole is prepared table side with all fresh ingredients. The cucumber margarita is my absolute favorite as it very refreshing. The Cancun is my meal of choice as it gives you a little taste of everything. I can never finish it, it's a lot of food. The churros are excellent as well. Our waitress Savannah was excellent! One of the best dining experiences I've had in Tampa, so it's 5 stars from me. Keep up the good work

Food was excellent! Don't order the Watermelon Margarita. It did not taste very good and had a weird after taste confirmed by my mom. The Casa Rita was fabulous! Service was not so good. Waited over an hour for our entrees. Waitress abandoned us after we asked her and then the manager about our food. He took care of our meals and gave us 4 cards for free entrees on future visits. I was going to tip the waitress, but she was not found by another employee after we asked for her.

My wife & I were craving some Mexican food and came across this restaurant on Google. When I tell you I’m so glad we chose to go. S/O to our waiter - Wilson. Amazing customer service - 10 out of 10. The food was amazing and came out fast. This place was jammed packed but it didn’t take a long time for us to be seated. I highly recommend this location. We definitely will be coming back. Disappointing Experience and Serious Concerns
We visited this restaurant with high hopes, but unfortunately, our experience fell far short of expectations. The carne asada was incredibly bland—no salt, pepper, or any seasoning to speak of. The beans tasted like they were simply boiled, and the overall dishes lacked the bold and vibrant flavors typically associated with authentic Mexican cuisine. The only dish our party of four enjoyed was the birria tacos.
When we raised the issue with the manager, they admitted that sometimes they "forget" to season the food, which was surprising and disappointing. In fairness, they did offer a discount for the uneaten dish, which we appreciated.
However, what made the situation worse was that on our way home, our 3-year-old—who had only eaten the beans and some pineapple juice—became ill and vomited. Drinks were very good with a great presentation. Sancocho soup (Saturday and Sunday) was delicious. Arroz Mampostia was very tender and had bacon in the rice. Mofongo Camaron with the red sauce was very good, but for my preference the plantains were a little on the large and dense side. Not to take away from the overall dish just my preference. Yuca Fritas and the sauces were a nice addition but not needed. For the price this was a great lunch and worth the trip. Will be back and tell others about this.

First time trying this restaurante, place is nice but tables were wobbly we had to put napkins on the bottom to hold in place. ( we tried 2 tables both wobbly) Waitress was nice and honest with plate suggestion but would hardly come to the table. Food was 3 out of 5 because steak (bistec) was hard and dry so were the sorullitos, they didn’t have sancocho or rotisserie chicken which were 2 things we wanted to try.
Food took a very long time and the place wasn’t really packed. Overall if I’m in the area will stop in but wouldn’t drive down just to come to the restaurant.

It has been a great pleasure to visit this restaurant. A long time ago I didn't enjoy puertorican food as I did in this place, food that is not possible to find where I live. I ordered trifongo and mar y tierra (churrasco and camarones) and arroz maspostado. The blend of sweet and salty was an amazing taste experience! Besides that, I enjoy the alcapurrias and pastelillo with meat, both delicious and authentic flavors of the island. Drinks the same, espectacular too and on time. I do not like giving low ratings but this was awful. We got carnitas tacos, Philly cheesesteak tacos, street corn, beans, rice, queso bites with poblano ranch, and a drink. The only saving grace was the flavor of the carnitas except that it was way too salty. The Philly cheesesteak taco was not edible. The flavor was vile!! It didn't taste like a Philly cheesesteak OR a taco. BOTH tacos were incredibly MESSY and room temp. The queso bites were cold but a decent flavor with a good crunch. The poblano sauce was not very good. The street corn was VERY messy and I have had much better. The rice was requested without dirty spice but had it and was too spicy for my bestie. The place was filthy including the bathroom. Half the tables were available but none were clean so we decided to go outside. Only one outside table had an umbrella. No trash can outside. I don't know if this is just the location or what, but this is my first time going to a Capital Tacos and likely my last. At least the service was somewhat pleasant.
Also, they only have an iOS app, no android option. That wouldn't normally be an issue except that I couldn't enter a promo code in their website's mobile interface. I had to have my friend with an iPhone download the app to do so.

For Friday night dinner we were craving for tacos and by checking near us we decided to have dinner at Capital Tacos. The capital tacos closes at 9:00pm and we reached the place around 8:30pm.
The place was nice, neat and clean with friendly staff. Since restaurant was closing in 30 minutes there were not much people.
After exploring the menu we ordered Queso Bites and dipping sauce, Mexican Street Corn, Chicken Fajita Taco, Big Kahuna Taco, Double Mesa Taco, Mean Verde Taco, Hen House Bowl, Chicken Fajita Salad and Mini Churros.
The service was good and we first got Queso Bites and dipping sauce. The queso bites were delicious, full of cheese, hot and nicely made. We loved it.

The churros were although good but the sad thing was that with churros they only provide white cream sauce which was like glue and doesn't have any other options with churros.

The place looked beautiful walking in,the lighting was soft and flattering, and the buffet setup looked promising with steam rising from the trays. But looks can be deceiving. The food was barely warm, some dishes were straight-up cold, and a lot of it tasted old and dried out. It seemed like the steam tables were running low on water or something, because nothing was holding heat the way it should. And keep in mind, we came in around 5:30–6:00, so this wasn’t a late-night scrape-the-bottom situation.
The atmosphere itself was lovely, and the service was okay, though the staff hovering a little too close made things feel a bit uncomfortable at times. For how busy the place was, I’m honestly surprised the food wasn’t fresher. Maybe folks are used to it and just don’t complain, which could explain the surprisingly high four-star rating online.
One more odd thing…they charge kids based on height. My 10-year-old got charged as an adult simply because she’s tall, which just felt strange and a bit excessive, especially considering the quality of the food.

If there was one word to describe the food it would be YUCK!
I honestly wish I could give this place zero stars. The food looked hot but was barely warm once you actually put it on your plate. Several items didn’t taste the way they’re supposed to, and overall everything felt low-quality and rushed.
On top of that, I absolutely don’t agree with their pricing for kids. Charging differently based on a child’s height instead of age is ridiculous. Me and my family just wanted to try something new, but we were better off staying home and making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
For 2 adults and 3 kids, our total came to $93 – for a BUFFET that wasn’t even good. That makes no sense at all. On top of that all the notices on the tables about if you don’t eat the food you’d be charged should have been a sign I suppose.
We were terribly displeased and will never return. Save your money and go literally anywhere else.

The effort that John (sushi man in the hat) puts into each roll is incredible, he has a real talent and creativity with the way he creates an order. Moe's was conveniently located about 10 minutes from our place. From the menu, I decided to order a salad and a Stack. For the salad, I added chicken, rice, black beans, cheese, and pico de gallo. The Stack included chicken, black beans, queso, cheese, and pico de gallo.

I ordered Uber Eats from this location. The portion size of the burrito bowls was ok, but on the small side. I ordered poblano crema on the side which was not included in my order. I also paid extra for queso and it was not included. The taste of the burrito bowls was ok, but not great. Also, I understand the chips and salsa are free, but they only included literally 10 chips in a big bag and the salsa was not included in my order. They really should be ashamed of sending a bag of 10 chips and even worse with no salsa. I would not recommend this location. With all the criticism of Chipotle lately I would think Moe’s would be better but it seems they aren’t any better than Chipotle (at least this location isn’t).

Received: Two extremely lightly portioned bowls of soggy, almost cooked vegetables, some of which I actually ordered! Nearly a dozen grains of rice, though sadly our meat was on PTO. Chips were extra stale and oiled up just in case I was feeling tempted to actually eat them.
Eating each of the 31 or so American dollars I spent buying this meal, single by single, would've been more satisfying.
Hate to rag on food service workers, but the bar is truly in the basement. Avoid unless you've felt a little too joyful lately and dearly need some cold, hard reality (and rice) to bring you back down to Earth.

Amazing Atmosphere, Amazing Food, and Extraordinary Service. Came here w family to have dinner and it did not disappoint. We had the steak, pork and chicken skewers - Amazing. My brother said the pork skewer is the best in Tampa. The steak was A1.
I ordered spicy tuna roll and lemon grass spicy soup and was not disappointed! I would strongly recommend the skewers, coconut sake, as well as the green curry.
Shoutout to the owner for coming out, showing love and making recommendation. Definitely plan to come back.
Lastly, the decor is amazing. I personally love the themed roses growing from the room top and hanging over the tables. Great spot for any event, but highly recommended for dates

We weren't in the mood to cook on a Friday night, so we decided to visit Umu Japanese & Thai Restaurant for dinner. Although we didn't have a reservation, the wait time just 10-15 minutes before we were seated.
The ambiance was lively and welcoming, filled with people enjoying their meals. We were greeted by our server, Jourdyn, who brought us water and menus right away.
After chatting with Jourdyn and going over the menu, we ordered the Smokey Dragon and Typhoon sushi rolls, Crab Croquette as our appetizer, Pad Thai for our Thai entree, and a Thai Iced Tea to go with our meal.
The Thai Iced Tea arrived first, it was flavorful, and made well. Our appetizer, the Crab Croquette, came after and had a rich, crab filling, a great way to start the meal.
Then came our entrees. The sushi rolls were beautifully presented and delicious, especially the Typhoon Roll, which was crispy and full of flavor and definitely the standout of the night. The Smokey Dragon was also fresh and well-balanced. Pad Thai was full of flavor, with perfectly cooked noodles and tender chicken that made it a comforting and satisfying dish.
Overall, the food was flavorful and satisfying -- a great spot for both Japanese and Thai cuisine.

Our server was great - very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the dishes.
We had sushi and tried a couple of the dinners - everything was delicious, fresh, came out in a timely manner, and portion sizes were good.
The only thing to note is that they do not have a bar and only serve beer and wine - and both options are overpriced.

I had the Thai Fried Rice with chicken and it was absolutely amazing! The flavors were perfectly balanced—savory, just the right amount of seasoning, and the chicken was tender and delicious. 1st time here and it was 30 mins before closing and you would have thought it was the beginning of the shift. Customer service was amazing. The guy that took my order (Ramses) was amazing. I explained it was my first time and he was very patient with me. He went over the menu items and answered my questions. Turn around time for food was quick. The place was super clean even the front door was free of pesky handprints. Restaurant is in a strip mall like area, but has stand alone energy. Would definitely come back. The atmosphere was nice. IT'S A SHAME. This was our 2nd time going to this restaurant. Our first visit couldn't have gone better. The food was outstanding and a gentleman, I'm assuming was the manager/owner treated us like VIP's. He especially took pride in his skirt steak (rightfully so) and was genuinely invested in whether or not we enjoyed our visit. This 2nd visit today, however, we were treated AWFULLY. My wife and I had just left the massage place next door and we're carrying bottles of water the staff had given us. Mine was 3/4 empty and my wife's was not yet open. We walked in and we're greeted by a woman who I assume was an owner/manager. She asked us how many and we said "2 please". She then told us we can't bring our wate in with us and advised that there was a "sign" posted somewhere - which we did not notice. My wife showed the woman her bottle and said "it's not even open" as if to imply that we are not going to consume our waters on site and I began to finish my last gulp from my water. We always purchase beverages with our meals anyway. At this location last time, we purchased two cans of soda each at $3.50 a piece (if you can't believe that). The woman did not respond to my wife's comment and glared at us while we disappointedly turned and walked out. We won't be returning. When the restaurant fails, and, based on our experience today...my educated guess is, it will - blame it on poor management. Sad.

Hadn't been to a Pollo Tropical ... ever, I believe. Came in because I wanted something I can't find back in Colorado and wasn't interested in fried, burger or lots of bread.
The cashier, Amerie, was great. When I told her I had never been to one of these before she explained everything to me and let me ask all the questions. She never once seemed annoyed or frustrated with me and did have a good sense of humor.
I went with the two breast platter with brown rice and sides of black beans and fries.
The chicken was great. Very well cooked and not dry at all. Couldn't be happier, except for the sizes of the chicken breasts. Someone should have mentioned they were pygmie chickens.
The rest of the "platter" (Styrofoam plate) was the underwhelming rice and a cup of the bland black beans. A separate cup of fries was on the side. I understand these issues aren't within this location's control as franchises work from the top down, but I see no real reason to return or recommend it to anyone.
The restaurant was clean, which I appreciate significantly.
I didn't know they were rationing sauces and didn't get any ketchup for my fries, instead choosing the spicy-something sauce and some BBQ for the chicken, which also detracted from the overall experience.
The music in the eating area was very loud. Had I been with someone and wanting to talk, I would have been annoyed.
On contrast, the wifi was great. Of course, the music was too loud to listen to anything, even with noise-cancelling earbuds in.

I understand there’s not much complexity working at a chipotle, so I don’t expect to be blown away. However, the disregard for a proper hello or simple greeting is unsettling….just a stale “how can I help you”.

I visited this restaurant to get sushi for my daughter, who absolutely loves it but has specific food sensitivities. We made sure to inform the staff about what needed to be left off her roll. I also ordered a sushi roll for myself. Unfortunately, when I got home, I found that both rolls had been packaged together, and the sauce from mine had spilled onto hers—making it unsafe for her to eat.

They have a lot to offer on the menu and we tried grilled chicken tacos, fish burrito, epanadas (all 3 flavors), side of rice, churro, and Mexican Street Corn . This place is a bit underrated. The sushi is really good and the service is excellent. This is my second time here and it was well worth it. The prices are in line with the amount of food and the quality. The drinks are also good and they offer a full service bar.
We had the fried gyoza as a starter and 2 rolls as a main course. The volcano roll and the Ginza. The fish was excellent, fresh and they were made very quickly. Great size as well.

This is a take out style Chinese restaurant. They have a bathroom and it was open. The staff was warm and welcoming. I ordered a lunch special that comes with can of soda and rice. Kung Pao chicken with plenty of fresh vegetables and a good spice. I asked for extra spicy and it was. I did not need to use the chili paste I was given to ensure it was to my heat level. For example, crab rangoon usually comes with a red sauce; it is not something that is requested. It comes with it! I eat sushi 2 to 3 times a week, and have tried sushi all over the Tampa bay and this is by far hands down the best sushi I have ever had here in Florida. The selection of sushi is second to none and outstanding quality. Great cocktail menu, and so many amazing menu items. The taste of all the food from and Zulu location is impeccable. However, today I order on Uber eats, and selected the pick up option. My wait time was anticipated to be 32 minutes however my food wasn’t done until 58 minutes later.
When I received my Zukku roll I was disappointed to find that no soy sauce, wasabi, or ginger was provided. The roll only have lemon slices on 4 of the 8 pieces.
I also ordered chicken fried rice which came with the option of soup or salad. I chose miso soup which had 2 total pieces of tofu. My chicken fried rice had numerous pieces of chicken that were charred. The fried rice was so char tasting it was inedible
I was given 3 pairs of chopstick and 3 plastic renge spoons but no fork or regular spoon to eat the rice.
My rating is based on the fact that while they serve great food, if you go when they are busy it is best to leave. This is now the third time I’ve ordered when the restaurant was full and the food did not meet the quality I was expecting.

I’ve been here multiple times, and it’s a five-star experience every time. For appetizers, I always have to get the baked mussels and crispy rice, they’re both absolutely delicious! When it comes to rolls, the shrimp volcano is my go-to, while my boyfriend loves the dancing dragon roll. The restaurant is always spotless, and the service is consistently excellent. Our server, Adeline, made our visit even better with her fantastic recommendations and warm hospitality.
Keep in mind that weekends are busy, and reservations aren’t available on Fridays or Saturdays, but you can call ahead 15 minutes before arriving to get on the waitlist. If you love sushi, I highly recommend checking this place out!

You can get better pho elsewhere. The broth is not seasoned well and you can tell it was made for people like a Karen. It’s like hot water with some onion slices, leaves, and beef on the top. The tea is good but they are always out of traditional black tapioca boba. I will say however the spring rolls are good and at an awesome price.

The boba is ok. The pho is ok. Nothing too special but decent to eat. I asked the lady who worked here what are fish balls and she didn’t really answer but it taste kind of like crab. The restaurant looks really dirty and messy. This place has so much potential and overall I don’t think it’s horrible but I probably wouldn’t come back either.
