The only thing I didn't think was that good on the salad bar was the potato salad, it had a strange texture and was definitely not flavorful at all, but everything else on the salad bar was delicious, The waitress gave me plenty of time as I requested to eat the salad bar for a little bit, she checked back with me a few times to see if I was ready for my burger and potato tots and I told her ultimately yes, That came really quickly it didn't take long and it looked very delicious, I've been into the burger it was nice and hot and not overcooked but I did feel it was a bit salty from whatever seasoning they use, next I grabbed a couple of tater tots and noticed those were also a bit salty, at first I thought when I've bit into the burger I though I must have hit a spot with it was just a bit too much seasoning but as I ate the whole burger it was just oversalty from start to finish but I went ahead and ate it anyway and did not complain, The waitress waited until I was done with my food to come back and ask me if I wanted anything else and how I liked everything and that's when I told her about the saltiness in the tots and the burger and of course she apologized immediately and I told her please don't apologize It's not your fault you didn't cook it lol, I paid my bill and I still gave her a good tip I always tend to over tip or tip well But there ain't nothing wrong with that those girls work hard, atmosphere was good the restaurant was definitely clean and comfortable, I used to attend this restaurant frequently but I moved away for a while and it had been a few years since I have gone here, overall the experience was just okay, Not sure if I would go back for that particular special but they have a lot of great specials during the week so I'll likely go back on a different day and try something else ♥️

We came here and were greeted at the table by the assistant general manager Louis he was such a respectful and helpful person who really elevated the atmosphere to begin our wonderful experience. Our waitress Holly Roberts greeted us with a smile and treated me as if I were a regular. Her genuine and friendly personality really helped us feel like part of the family. She is incredibly attentive with our drinks making sure right as we are finishing our drink another is ready to go. There isn’t enough words to express how great the staff and atmosphere here is. The KJ was named Joe. He was polite and friendly enough. The sound system was good, and his library was extensive. Our waitress ( Emily I think) was attentive and very nice. They have a pleasant outside area along the street for eating and listening to karaoke. They had a decent crowd of folks who were supporting the singers. We were able to get in 5 songs in a 3 1/2 hour period. No complaints about the karaoke they have there. I hope they continue it The food was ok, but nothing to brag about. I ordered the shrimp tacos that were on special and they were fantastic. The picture doesn’t do them justice. I’ll start at the tortillas that were fried to a pillowy perfection and then stuffed with their homemade slaw (not tons of it or big chunks like some places), lightly seasoned and plentiful shrimp topped with a sauce I didn’t catch the name of. I've not complained because their burgers are my favorite for the Inverness area and I generally have the veggies at home to replace it with. Just yesterday I ordered 2 "rare" hamburgers again and to no surprise... no veggies and this time I had none at home to replace them with so I was pretty annoyed. What made things worse was that not only were the burgers not rare... they were burned and had an acrid taste. I called the store to inform them and the night manager apologized but when I asked if the veggies came free with the hamburgers (which should be obvious imo) he stated, "I guess." You lost a regular customer and no I don't want the free burgers to "pick-up"... I want money. Update: I spoke with Marlow (Manager) and Megan (Assistant Manager) the next day and explained what happened the night before.. not only did they make me feel appreciated but did everything they could to resolve the matter. In the attached photos you will also see pieces of white bitter bottom trimming that should have been thrown in the garbage instead of my togo box. But, the food was plain out gross! We normally come to Applebee's because we love that their burgers are not greasy but this time 🤢 you can tell our plates had sat there for a good bit before they brought out our plates. I could only eat half the burger because of how much grease there was. The frys were old and they knew it and still brought them out with our burgers. ( They came out with fresh frys before we could complain said they thought there might be a problem with the frys ). My son didnt tell me till we got to the car but his pizza was cold and not fully cooked ( my son ate most of it so I know his tummy is going to be upset later ) When we did bring it up to the manger he did take one of the meals off the bill but blamed that the normal cook was out today. I'm sorry as someone with many years experience in the back of the house in restaurants there is NO excuse with how my husband and my food came out. To top is off when we looked up at the ceiling from our table the layers of dust is plain NASTY! This makes the last time for our family going to Applebee's in Inverness. Please do better guys!

The salad bar is the bare minimums in order to call it a salad bar. Iceberg lettuce, the carrots were browning, green peppers, onions, black olives, cheese, egg and the usual toppings. Ruby Tuesday's salad bar is a couple more bucks but it has a lot more to offer. The steak prices were about the same as Outback - we did not order the steak. Reservations are definitely recommended, but we got extremely lucky when stopping for an early dinner. The building is an early 1900s house that is set up using each room for seating. This location has gone downhill and I will think twice about ever ordering here again.

As busy as it was, from seat to eat was only about 15 minutes. Western Omelette, absolutely delicious. Hashbrowns, cooked perfectly, not rafted in a pond of grease, hot and crispy.
