This time, it was quite the opposite. A lot of the recent reviews are similar to what we encountered. However, some of the reviews were really good, so we figured we'd chance it. Big mistake. We had a reservation for five people at 9:45, and the kitchen is supposedly open until 11:30, so it's not like we came in right before close. We could have gone to Olive Garden for much cheaper, had excellent service, and with the same amount of love put into the food. We weren't offered dessert or anything, so we just paid and left as soon as possible. We shouldn't have even left the $10 tip we did leave. I dined at Devon while on a work outing to Hershey with a group of 8. There was a very short wait for a table (we had a reservation) and the establishment was somewhat busy during our visit. Devon has a great, classy atmosphere and a great menu focusing on red meats and seafood that is printed and updated each day based on item availability. On this visit I ordered a surf and turf with a filet and salmon. Table service was a little slow and there was a significant wait between ordering drinks, appetizers, food, and desserts, but a lot of this wait was likely due to the size of our party and the wait for the food was not terribly long. The surf and turf was amazing, and the Salmon is close to some of the best I have had anywhere! There were some great selections for dessert and we sampled plenty of them, all of which were delicious. It is unlikely I will be back in the Hershey area again anytime soon, but if I find myself in that area I would definitely look up Devon's again!

Ordered on their website and the food was even quicker than projected, which was nice. When I went in I was greeted by the hostess and given my food. The staff seems very friendly and ready to help. From what I saw of the location, it was Americana. The food was quite tasty, most notably the smoked wings with the added variety of ranch I purchased. Additionally, I had nachos which could have benefited from a bit more cheese, but the smokey pork was a nice touch. I would definitely want to return to try more of the menu. I did see that at peak time, parking could be troublesome, but there is parking around the side and back of the building.

We got our drinks fairly quick… <10 minutes. I’ve had the pulled pork, brisket, and wings previously… all are great with a lightly smoked flavor.
