I am shocked how bad it has become. The waitress was horrible never came back for salt/pepper, refills, to see if our food was ok or anything. Had to flag down other staff to find her. The main entrees came and the filet mignon was bloody red not medium it was mooing. Of course we couldn't complain because we had Houdini's sister as our waitress. My husband ordered us an appetizer, bruschetta, which was amazing. You have to try! For our entrée we had the braised raviolli and scampi soprano. For dessert we had the tiramusu. The food is made fresh and with love. It took about 35mins for our dinner to arrive. (Not bad at all if you want quality.) The tirramusu is large enough for two. We didn't know. :) we will be back. Our anniversary dinner was delicious and flavorful. Thank you!

What a huge disappointment. Made reservations for a party of 8. My food when it came out was cold. The soup, potatoes and chicken were cold. Among the other drinks were a lemon drop their version of a moscow mule and their version of a old fashion, all very good. It's not just that when he left each time, he apparently had his foot to the floor despite the posted 35MPH speed limit, but he has outfitted his big toy truck with a horn that sounds exactly like a freight train horn - and is just as loud. When the bar closes, he honks the horn multiple times in the parking lot and then, as he barrels up the hill, lays on the horn in a long, continuous blast lasting a good 10-15 seconds. It spoils the evening for guests, frightens the wildlife, and disturbs the local residents. Nobody lives in this kind of wild getaway place hoping to hear that kind of crap, and certainly nobody vacations there hoping to hear that. I review plenty of places and this is one of those I reccomend to stay out of. We used to come in weekly to every other week. We stopped because the customer service WAS SO BAD! The employees were very rude and incompetent. I had a gift card and they told me they didn't take it at that location. A GIFT CARD! That was the final straw about 2 years ago. A few months ago we decided to give it another try. We were hungry for a whopper. The food tasted much better then when we stopped going. It was fresh and actually tasted good. So we resumed eating at this location again. The staff is very friendly to the customers! We were very pleased. But, I do have a MAJOR complaint. This will be the last time to patronize this restaurant unless things change. I have witnessed on multiple occasions a manger named Chris belittling and berating employees. As a customer I DO NOT WANT to see and hear this as I am trying to order my food and eat there. I don't like to complain. I didn't a couple years ago. I just STOPPED being a loyal customer. I am at that point again. On multiple occasions I have seen him yelling at his employees. In thier faces. Talking to them like they are children. Not that this would be acceptable, but the first time I saw it I thought the employee was having "issues" and needed to be delt with sternly. Even if I felt it was excessive at the time. But since then I have personally witnessed this being done to multiple employees. THIS IS UNEXCPTABLE!! I am surprised that the employees are as nice as what they are having to deal with that toxic and hostile work environment on a daily bases. I am sure the employee turnover rate has to be through the roof! I had oreded through the drive through today and STILL did not escape his deplorable treatment of his employees. He was aggressively telling the employee how incompetent they were and that how much better he was then them. RIDICULOUS!! My food today was not the best. The oil was old or fried too long. So the nuggets and jalapeno bites were not good. The wrap and cinnamon rolls were good. I do EXPECT this to be delt with. Until then this will be the last time to your establishment. There are many other places I can spend my money where I don't have to listen or witness that kind of abuse. Please let me know when this was delt with so I can partake in enjoying my whoppers again. I will be posting this to Google reviews. When this issue is resolved I will be happy to leave a positive review. Because the rest of the employees I have delt with have been very friendly and also go above and beyond expectations.
