As I have mentioned on other Texas Roadhouse restaurant reviews their interior design doesn't help keep noise levels down, in fact the design amplifies the noise. This one is no exception and was very loud. We were served quickly and our waitress was nice and courteous. We ordered the 6oz sirloin and the salmon. I asked for medium but it came out over cooked. This isn't a high end restaurant so I don't expect the cooks (they aren't chefs) to be consistent. My suggestion is order one level below, it can always get cooked a little more. Also, the cut of meat seemed below par as well. Just not a good cut this time which was a surprise, they at least have pretty good cuts of beef, not tonight. I could have asked for it to be redone but then my wife would have been done before I got it recooked, and you just never know, have you seen the movie "Waiting"? My biggest issue would be waiting again and eating alone. Price was as expected. Not a location we would frequent, we have had better experience at the Sanford location.

Although I know the place was packed and we had to wait as we patiently did, that doesn’t excuse the behavior of our server. We got a table that although it was in the same side as another’s waiter section, we had bad luck getting him to serve us and being the only table on the side he wasn’t supposed to attend. He was rude, tried to scold me just because he got mad because when our food got to us by the server we asked her for more water and our silverwares and she asked us who out waiter was and I told her that I didn’t remember his name but all I know is that he was barely around checking on us as he was attending more the other side. So when he finally got to us, his rude response to not getting us more water or having silverwares ready was very condescending. All I know it bothered me how the people in my side who were all being attended by another server were constantly asked if they were ok, if they needed anything and they even had silverwares ready for them but we had to wait for ours because there were all dirty and didn’t have none and were waiting to be washed. Then why serve us our food or were we supposed to eat with our hands? At the end I even had to ask him for our $5 cards that Veteran were offered on our day and he didn’t even know about it and had to ask the manager, although the other server once his customers paid he automatically brought these cards to them and even explained why they were getting them and appreciated them for their service. We unfortunately were not lucky as our service sucked and that is exactly what I wrote in the receipt with $0 tip. I sincerely hope that somebody from corporate reads this, because I've eaten at the location near Advent Memorial in Daytona and it's quite good and the staff is friendly and fun, so I don't think this is a Chili's problem as much as it's a problem unique to this location. My advice would be for Chili's corporate to get involved before the health department or a dysentery outbreak FORCE you to do something. Far easier to step in and straighten things out now than it would be to straighten things out after this location winds up in a local headline.

Cozy, clean, and comfortable. Our waitress was excellent and friendly and our service was prompt and attentive. I ordered 4 things, 3 different pie slices and a brownie. Preparing for them to not put any sauce instead, because it happens often. I said we are saucy people. The guy chuckled a bit and said he understood. I also ordered a beef burrito supreme with no lettuce. When we arrived home (less than a mile away) we found my food was cold. I still tried to eat it. The bean burrito was drier than the sahara desert. It had no sauce, cheese or onions. And was not just cold to touch but you can visibly see it by the thickness and texture of the beans. So I put it down and moved on to my burrito supreme. It was not a burrito supreme at all. It was another cold bean burrito with chunks of tomato. We decide to call the store at 2:41 am. A girl answers "hello", not this is taco bell or anything business like. My husband asked for the manager. She replied "who dis?" She proceeded to tell us we can't talk to him unless we say who we are. She was very combative. The behavior and attitude were just strange, and unnecessary. At that point we weren't even upset, just trying to give the manager a heads up about how our food order was received. My husband then says "I'm a customer, and I need to speak to the manager" The manager gets on the phone and was nice at first. He was asking us to drive back to replace the order. But who wants to have to do that. My husband raised the concern for not just getting the order wrong, but giving us cold food. The manager said at the end of the night they pre-make alot of their food. That raised more concern for both of us. Not only are we not getting what we paid extra for, but why are you handing us old food? Bean burritos are $1.99 and burrito supremes are $5.79. This food was already cold and congealed 45 minutes before close. Meaning it had to have been sitting there for a couple hours already. We would have let it go. But then the manager proceeded to get upset and became very rude. He had the audacity to tell us, that it was our fault we got old food for coming so close to 3am. Why are we at fault for spending money during your stores operating hours?? Very unprofessional and disgusting behavior from both employees. Very poor customer service. Very poor ethics overall. I worked in the food industry for over 16 years. I have never ever talked to a customer like that. That food was not even under a warmer, it was ice cold. There are food safety laws. A health inspector would definitely write this store up if they caught these late night procedures. If I owned this franchise I would most definitely be replacing both those two employees immediately. You can not train such a low level of poor character out. It also breeds more bad character. However, it seems some changes were made and I decided to play roulette and try again. For the first time in three years there is improvement here. It appears more employees have been hired and have become much more efficient as a team for a positive change.
