I'm so disappointed that this place has left me wishing they open for lunch because I would definitely come for lunch! For our large group we picked the Chef's Banquet, a four-course meal (with one vegetarian). I have to seriously report the amount of food left at the end was unseemly. So much so there were plenty of takeaway containers that left with the attendees. The food was amazing, plus the portion size were generously huge. I especially love the cauliflower and their lady fingers. Never had anything so yummy! Skewers were tasty (I would pick beef over chicken). Tabouleh was lovely and fresh. Baba ganouj was really good, (tasted homemade not bought). Their hommous was nice and creamy. Probably need to give more garlic dip with the skewers, though. Never enough garlic dip! Service was great for our group, they were happy to help our table with whatever we needed. The Lebanon & Beyond team looked after our table very well, even when they were packed that night on Friday. 100% highly recommend and would go back for dinner again.

Customer service was very friendly. We were seated right away. The dips and salads were quite tasty. The kibbeh, lady fingers (or whatever their called, the puff pastry stuffed with meat and cheese) and the falafel were okay. The presentation was sloppy. I really didn’t like how they just piled the salad with everything. I wish they had just put the salad in a bowl it would have been aesthetically pleasing. The staff seem not to be interested and low communication skills. We ordered the garlic chicken which was good included was a tasteless and sad looking salad. We also had 2 vegetarian dishes (I can't recall the name) one was tasteless and dry and the other tasteless and with a sauce that looked more like soup. When i heard this i knew it was going to be good! A quaint restaurant with a cool bar, I loved the seafood Paella, Scallops and you can't go past the pork belly with that super crunchy crackling :P All of the cocktails were made with such finesse, I honestly think the bartenders here are top notch. I asked for something off of the menu, something sour but a little sweet and he gave me exactly what i asked for! You also have to check out their Tequila challenge, they have a house infused Carolina reaper tequila. It's so hot that level 3 is hard to beat! Definitely loved the service and staff, with great personality and if you're on a first date they're always in the know and make your night less awkward! 😂

We were charged $25 for ONE tub of aioli, broken down as $5 per person for 5 people, even though only 2 or 3 people asked for it. The food took forever to come out every single time — it felt like they were deliberately stalling so that you’d just keep ordering drinks while you waited. We arrived this evening on the bank holiday Friday without a reservation and were told by the bald guy that it would be a 30-40 min wait. Luckily after 35 mins we had secured a table. This place was very busy from the get go so we considered ourselves lucky. We were shown to our table by Giuseppe the bald guy who we later figured out is the manager. After a few minutes we had drinks on the table. The whole vibe of the restaurant was great and we felt like we had be transported to Italy. We ordered the Capricciosa and pepperoni and to say that it’s the best pizza in Sydney is an understatement. This is the best pizza we ever had. After we finished the meal the manager Giuseppe brought some Limoncello to our table and thanked us for our business. We had the best experience with the staff and the pizza was unbelievable, many thanks guys!! We will be back Giuseppe many tanks for your hospitality 🤌🏻

Firstly, it took ages for the waiters to take our food order. Then, only two out of three drinks arrived, and we had to wait a considerable amount of time for the third. They have a wide selection of pizzas and pastas to choose from and honestly all the choices we selected were amazing. The lamb satay was one of the best that I had in Sydney, the meat was very tender, and the sauce was addictive! Found myself actually finishing the sauce. The sop kaki kambing was excellent too, very rich in flavour and the lamb shin was really tender. What impressed me the most from this restaurant is the service. Despite it being only being manned by a staff member on busy period, the service was very attentive, polite, and we were even offered free kerupuk and a plate of cut orange as dessert which was a nice touch. It is a nice, intimate restaurant with decent pricing as well. Would highly recommend!

I've been here a few times after an overnight shift (I work all weekend) because it's one of the only places open early and I have to sleep right after. They make nice hollandaise sauce. I ordered a bacon breakfast roll, and I repeated my order twice. The person serving was so vague and nonchalant in the middle of a rush, and everyone dining in has to order at the counter which is not at all comfortable, her attitude was frustrating enough. These people are always really dismissive and act like you're wasting their time to the point that they don't even listen- They misheard my name twice so I gave up and chose a more phonetically simple one. After about 5 minutes I get my food from a different server and leave- I don't touch my roll until I get home and I realise it's SMOKED SALMON, with capers and raw red onion. I have really strong food aversions and struggle to eat the at the best of times. I like this dish but couldn't stomach it whatsoever when I most needed to. It may sound like I'm making a mountain out of a molehill, but I could've been deathly allergic to salmon. Nevertheless, I wasted $15, 40 minutes, energy walking there and back only to leave disappointed and hungry- I wish I could've at least gone back and changed this but I did not have time and had to sleep. I'm only now able to eat at 2am after a long shift. This was 100% preventable and I did my best to communicate clearly- this place really shows how little they care about their customers by giving the barest minimum of service and maximum turnover. This was my favourite restaurant during my university days. I visited after 12 years and I can say that the restaurant is still maintaining its quality and fast service standards. Try their Thai herb and spices stir fry with duck. It has that special aromatic zing to it that you won’t find elsewhere. For a milder option, their green curry is great. They don’t mix their vegetables inside the green curry but they stir fry and put this on top, leaving them to be crisp rather than soggy. Their desserts are unique and delectable. Try their coconut flower jelly and their mango rice pudding. The rice pudding with mango was something new for me and I rate it 10/10. Thank you Taste of Thai Randwick. You will always be a special place for me.
