Would really recommend it for young and old, as there are walking trails around the lake and the youngsters can do a' fairy trail 'to try and spot all the amazing sculptures. There are beavers on the island too, you might not see them but you might spot their handiwork asking the edge of the lake. There are shops just outside the entrance too, I would recommend the ice cream at the Thornton's shop, by far the best on site (and we pretty much tried them all!)

No mention that the blast slide was closed either, the one that’s like a rollercoaster and we are still waiting for a refund on our locker wrist bands. Didn’t stay the full 3 hours of our slot because we all got bored of queuing, it was like human soup in the wave pool part. Water was cold, some places were clean, but the changing rooms absolutely packed to the heavens and when you have cold kids, couldn’t find a changing room for ages. Also adults walking about the pool area with trainers on and even when we raised it on hygiene concerns, they didn’t challenge it. Don’t think we will be coming back again sadly. After the 2 hours ended there was an announcement and even a tidy up song to learn the kids to put items back as best they could (with help from the very friendly staff) The place was spotless and cleaned to a very high standard, amenities included :) We cannot wait to come back very soon and hope to take my younger niece to play! Brought 2 spots for the beginners course but didn't unfortunately get to attend. I let the company know 8 days before the event day that my daughter who was supposed to come with me cancelled as she was not able to come from her mums which was quite upsetting for me anyway as a dad/daughter experience. I let the company know and if they could readvertise my spaces that I paid for, so my authorisation to try sell my spaces i paid for. They said after waiting 2-3 days for a response they would try resell. I did try locally but no one was interested. I checked the company website every day and the course was not adjusted and my two spaces/slots were not adjusted and the course listed as full. I complained as they didn't make any effort..instead just taking my money and not interested in trying to fill my spots (at least I don't think...maybe they have?) . I find the loss of £300 and there total LACK OF CARE very frustrating and disappointing. I know from running my own company that one day not advertising a product is a loss so they a full week they could of potentially filled my spaces and me get reimbursement. But still no they would bother to help me I even suggested they take a £50 admin fee but nothing back. Poor way of playing cricket and I am glad I didn't entertain any more interaction with them if this is how greedy they are as business owners.

The only thing I had an issue with was how rowdy the older children were. They were constantly blocking off the slides and climbing up and down them and throwing the large yoga balls around so younger children found it hard to play in these areas and my 4 year old was a bit nervous around them. I will say though this is likely something that needs addressing from their parents rather than staff members as there really is only so much you can do. 😊 We will definitely be returning, thanks so much for the hard work you've put in!

It was really light and not cold, and when our friends tried it, it didn't taste like milkshakes should- it was really light in texture and not milky either. We had no idea what it was made of, and our friends didn't actually drink it. Would not recommend this item. The kids had a decent time, and were occupied for most of the 2 hours we were there. We would maybe come again, but there are other soft plays that are more group friendly seating-wise and we would probably not order food again.

The ice cream shop is a firm favourite as well as the dressing up theatre. Let's NOT miss the adults who also get to relax on the sofas, drink coffee and eat amazing chilli fries. The staff are all so sweet, they engage with the kids and speak to you. The atmosphere is just so chilled out it's like being at home and getting 5 minutes peace. We bought the summer holiday passes and they've been great value for money so far. Would be good if this was a permanent thing like other local play areas do. Sadly there isn't an after school session which would have been great. Maybe pass on the feedback for the future? Overall as parents we are having a great summer break while the kids happily play in a safe, friendly secure play area. Oh and I think the kids are loving it too. Big shout out to all the staff.
