Great zenith where you can see a large variety of performance. Convenient from the center of Dijon. You can access to it very easily. Last performance I saw was Botre Dame de Paris

Perfect for catching the tram to Dijon. Every time we have been there we have been the only persons to either embark or disembark the tram. Safe parking, but could maybe benefit from a shaded area to park the car.....

The concert hall itself is of medium size and arc shaped. The view from where we were ie Row M was good, however he chairs are on the hard side and a bit cheap looking. What really disappointed was the fact that there were no eateries right next to the hall. Only a couple of bars inside the hall. No choice whatsoever. Best bet is to go to the Toison d'Or 1st and then go to the hall. A missed opportunity I feel for restaurant owners.

The rooms are beautiful. Lots of classic old works, a few modern works, so not very impressive for me. Admission is free, so it's worth seeing the architecture. Beware, there's a trap on the first floor, you'll never get out without asking... we weren't the only ones. Fortunately, the lovely security staff are there to help.

We were greeted by very friendly staff who explained the museum's layout. This museum is large, entry is free, and there are several floors of exhibits to see. The grounds around the museum are picturesque as well. Enjoy!

A free art museum! It was a treat, of course. I'm not an expert, but I think their collection was very good, based mostly on the Duc's collection. Don't miss the Duc and Duchess's tombs! Everything was in french and it wasn't very crowded, even on a Saturday and even with people fleeing from the rain, like we were.

This time, a megalomaniac Chinese painter exhibited right in front of the tombs of the Dukes of Burgundy—a juxtaposition as unexpected as it is striking. Dijon is a beautiful city and this museum has some beautiful art. Make sure you find the musical room from where you see the tombs from above!

The Dijon Museum of Fine Arts is well organised and an example of a must see museum outside of Paris, London, etc. There's everything from beautifully curated medieval art to sculpture to art and photography of the 1900s and 2000s. As a bonus, it's free to enter. Most definitely a not to be missed attraction in Dijon.

Cool and iconic in Dijon... easy to find. It's nice to find it without Google maps to make it for Cool... just follow the signs on the street floor.

A modern old town, just follow the golden arrows for sightseeing. The shops are neat and orderly. I saw people slipping after the rain because the floor is slippery. It is recommended to wear shoes a good shoes. There is a restaurant that supports Down syndrome. I recommend you try it.

Palm-sized and polished by countless hands, the little owl carved into Notre-Dame’s wall turns a side lane into a ritual. Touch with your left hand and make a wish; the brass pavement plate with the owl logo marks the stop and small arrows carry you along Dijon’s Parcours de la Chouette. This is the route’s namesake and most photographed moment: modest stone, big civic idea. I like how the trail knits small details to major landmarks - marker, brief engagement, onward wayfinding - so one carving speaks to grander sites across the old town.

Super nice tour especially for kids which are keen on discovering the next owl of Dijon on the way. All nice attractions can be seen on this journey.

I believe the route is great but we actually lost the route twice. Suddenly the Owl was lost. Please can the city check the route of the owl themselves? And see what is missing. Since I'm not the only one who get lost.

Loved randomly following footpath markers to discover iconic landmarks in Dijon. You can buy a €4 map from the tourist office and do it in an organized manner or just set yourself a challenge to see how many you can find on your travels.

A must for the gourmet. Great selection, not always the cheapest, but good quality goods of fish, meat, poultry, offal, cheese and so on and friendly, professional market vendors. Stay there and get some good wine to your purchase to enjoy right on site.

i love a market wherever i go. it’s not the cheapest in the area, but the produce, the fish, the cheeses, all are fresh, and the vendors are friendly and hardworking (i got up early and watched them set up their booths both inside and outside the market building) even just walking through made me feel alive and rich in life

The most amazing market either the best produce Dijon has to offer we were totally blown away with the variety of everything and anything to eat in Dijon at great prices. The pate, sliced meats, salads, breads and terrines to die for watch out though they’re not open every day

Lots of fresh variety. However as a visitor several vendors tried to price gouge, not give back the correct change and pushing an over sale instead of what you asked for. If you are not a French speaker just pay attention and don't feel bad to be clear on what you want. Still worth a visit.

Local market, lovely place to buy fresh vegetables, spices, cheese and meat of almost all kind

A marvel, truly — vibrant, full of excellent vendors and high-quality produce. Still, I couldn’t shake the feeling of a market shifting from a place to shop and have a drink into something more ‘curated’ by the ‘experience economy.’ That said, it remains worth visiting — in my case, more than once.

What a cool market. Inside was busy with activity but not overcrowded. It had lots of food vendors: fish, butcher, confections, fruits and veggies, jams, honey, breads... you understand. Outside was nice too. Around the market were vendors of all kinds of things: jewelry, pashminas, toys, purses, baskets, leather goods, clothing, olive wood items, gifts, etc. It doesn't take too long to walk around the outside and inside. It's worth a morning's exploration.

Beautiful interiors. Close to train station and to historic area on Dijon which is lovely to walk around. Room is small but comfortable. Bathroom floor gets wet when taking a shower due to lack of curtain. Checkout was slow due to only one person working.

Wonderful location and elegant resort like amenities in historic building. Garden patio bar/lounge as well as elegant indoor bar area with excellent service. Michelin star restaurant in hotel. Rooms nicely updated but very little drawer space. One piece of advice would be for those with even the most minor mobility or balance conerns. The baths in our rooms had only a steep sided tub with hand held shower wand, no door or curtain. This made climbing in/out somewhat precarious and showering often created wet floor. We had no issues but had to be extra cautious.

First time in Dijon and loved this upscale hotel with great location. Easy walk from the train station and makes for a great entrance to the lovely Dijon. Staff was great and loved the bar with very good ambience. Our room overlooked the Darcy and was well appointed with king bed--would choose this again

Another lovely stay at La Cloche. The location is perfect for exploring Dijon, and we appreciate the very attentive staff. Our only negative is that the breakfast seems very expensive. However, highly recommended as a great place to stay.

One the beautiful hotels I have been to. Rooms are spacious, clean. Separate toilet and shower/sink. Walk-in closet. A little unusual for the room to have shag carpet. Spa was included

This is one of our favorites Mc Gallery Hotels we have visited in France...it is a 5 stars Hotel that used to be a real 5 Stars Hotel...now it is a very good 4 stars Hotel. Service is still good but used to be amazing...they did not recognize at the beginning that we are Platinum All customers...and made us wait for 3 hours to get a room and gave us a regular room without any upgrade...if we did not complaint about it ....we could stay in the same small room they initially gave us ...This should not happen in a Hotel of this category...other than that, we found that things can be improved in the room and hallways maintenance...We hope we can come back soon and wish we can find this place as wonderful as it used to be

Our first trip to Dijon. Hotel is in a great location. Staff are very good, especially Isaac at the front desk manager! It’s a historic property so some of the rooms are quirky, and the hotel could benefit from new flooring. The bar is great. The garden is lovely. Fitness room is odd layout. Spa (€15 per person for an hour - book ahead because they limit to 6 ppl at a time) was pleasant tho small. Only 7 min walk from train station and steps from the historic center and park.

Very pleasant and attentive service. Food wonderfully presented. Reasonable prices. However, the portions were a joke. For 16 euros, I only got 2 Pieces of asparagus as an appetizer. The lamb was just okay, not much flavor, and again a small portion. I’m going to change my tune for the dessert: it was absolutely brilliant!! Maybe the best dessert I’ve ever had. And it was plentiful… The wine was excellent.”

Settled into a Scandi-calm dining room, we found warm oak floors, a long banquette and low pendant lights, keeping the space calm. We began with savoury madeleines and a bubbling terracotta of escargots à la bourguignonne - well cooked and lighter on garlic (8/10). A fist-sized andouillette arrived glossy and pungent; with caramelised onion, sauces and crisp frites it scored 7.5/10. The gigotin - a boned roulade in an Aligoté-and-cream sauce with sautéed wild mushrooms - was timed impeccably, full of terroir (9.5/10). Dessert ‘Dijonnaise’ - gingerbread soaked in crème de cassis, blackcurrant sorbet and chantilly - was theatrical and balanced (9/10). Service straightforward; a market-facing bistrogastro that honours Burgundian produce. Well.

Great food, kind service but perhaps a little understaffed? The portions are generous, as was the truffle on the main course. Definitely worth its money. I believe we were slightly unlucky with the bread; where ours was cold and slightly stale, the people next to us and behind us received hot and fresh bread just minutes after us.

The good: excellent service, nice ambience. We had an amazing beef bourgignonne, excellent gratin and sides as well as tasty oeufs en Mariette and lovely wine. Only negatives: the lamb stew was not very tender and a bit bland.

We were looking forward to a lovely evening at DZ’envies, especially since the restaurant is listed in the Michelin guide. Unfortunately, the overall experience fell far short of expectations. • Wine service: The white wine was served too warm, and throughout the entire evening, no one came by to top up our glasses. We had to refill our own drinks – absolutely disappointing for a restaurant of this category. • Service at the table: While someone came by during the starter to ask if everything was fine, no one checked in during the main course. My filet mignon was cooked “well done” instead of “medium.” In such a situation, I would have expected the chef to come out personally, apologize immediately, and not for the staff to casually ask afterward if I would like a coffee or digestif – once the damage had already been done. • Overall experience: A restaurant listed in the Michelin guide should not only impress with its food but also with the entire service experience, the attentiveness of the staff, and the way mistakes are handled. • Hospitality: If dogs are welcome, the very least would be to offer a bowl of water – to show that all guests are truly made to feel comfortable. Overall, the evening was not what one would expect from a restaurant of this category. There is significant room for improvement in terms of service quality and professionalism.

I visited with my boyfriend a few weeks ago and we truly had an an amazing experience! The food was very very good with fresh and super flavourful dishes that featured local cusine but with a twist. The skill and passion of the kitchen were evident in every dish and Chef Philippe was even so kind to answer our questions about the preparation and ingredients. When I mentioned to the staff that I could not eat the desert featured in the menu due to an allergy, they let me choose an alternative dessert from the menu. Generally the service was super accomodating and made us feel very welcomed. DZ envies offers amazing hospitality, outstanding food at a super fair pricing. We'll definitely be returning when in Dijon again!

You will not be disappointed with the menu selection. The dishes are phenomenal and the service is excellent. Our hostess was able to seat us on a busy night and made our experience so memorable.

After visiting the museum we decided to have lunch here not just for convenience, but also because it looked very pleasant inside. We had the formule dejeuner, and chose to have all three courses. The restaurant was almost full but not at all loud. There was a restrained conviviality as one would expect among museum goers of a certain age, us included. Service was pleasant, and apologetic when explaining the lobster item was no longer available as an option for the first course. Second course was shredded roast pork with a faintly five-spice flavor accompanied by almost puréed eggplant, garnished with toasted hazelnuts. Both dishes had a sweet flavor, which became redundant and tiresome after a while. The kitchen should employ acidity for balance. The third course, while not anticipated with any great pleasure, turned out to be the highlight. Carpaccio of pineapple was tender slices of quite ripe fruit, enhanced by a small scoop of smooth, licorice ice cream, and crumbles of quite sweet praline biscuit of some kind. Overall, I would recommend for a lovely setting, good value and some interesting food even if the main dish was a bit of a bore.

Great food, good service, excellent outdoor seating - we prefer sitting outside in the front, near the shady park.

I wanted to have lunch here but was sent away in a very rude and agressive way by a young waiter. He said the restaurant was "full" when clearly there were at least 5-6 tables free outside. I'm not sure what I did wrong. Just after I was sent away a couple of people entered and were assigned a table no problem. I was offended by this unprofessional behaviour and cannot recommend this brasserie based on this experience.

Very nice food, not cheap but well prepared. However, get ready for service so fast and barely focused on the customer, you might feel you’re in a fast-food restaurant. It’s a shame, because the prices are pretty high, so normally you’d expect better

Average café, but exceptionally well located near the Fine Arts Museum of Dijon. We only had some drinks, but the place was packed with annoying bees. Prices above average, decent service.

If you want to experience the worst of the French hospitality, this the place to go. Short blond waiter kicked us off our table as soon as we for there and proceeded to be extremely disrespectful. The location is beautiful but the service makes it horrible. To be avoided at all cost.

Just had some wine in the cafe side of the park. Very nice, great atmosphere and the park itself is great.

The food was good but there was a little cockroach on the table and so they moved my seat. But but after I finish the main course, I was waiting for the dessert and I’m waiting for like 20 minutes and there were no sign until I asked they were like oh I forget it’s on its way and then they give me a dessert that I didn’t order. I didn’t know formage blanc was yogurt! I’d say if you don’t mind that would happen you can go there and eat. They have a great beef. Although when I say that the cashier wasn’t listening.

Great food and service! Everything was fully booked nearby so we tried this restaurant and the staff were very accommodating, especially the hostess. They made sure to place our big group in one table. Aside from that, food was amazing! The scallop and truffle risotto, foie gras, and beef bourguignon is a must try ❤️

We stumbled on this restaurant while looking for a place to dine and were quite pleased with it. It was fairly busy and we dined outside ordering a set meal where one could select the starters and mains from amongst 4 options and a dessert out of 3. I enjoyed the chicken liver, the beef and the Burgundy cake paired with a nice . Beaujolais. The service was friendly and the atmosphere quite lively.

The traditional regional dishes I had were excellent. The poached eggs in rich red wine soup and the chicken Gaston. Both really tasty and the sauces on each were amazing.

The veal liver I had in a rainy afternoon is very unforgettable. Was very quiet even sit next to pedestrian. Felt as if I was sitting in the woods and was enjoying some very fresh food. The liver was cooked with some sweet sauce, contrasting and enhancing the savoury of the liver itself and the savoury of beer 🍺. Risottos and beef steak were nice too.

Awful awful! I saw reviews saying the place got better since previous bad reviews. And most of the bad reviews were about service, not food. Both were absolutely terrible. But it wasn't the servers' fault! The business is greedy. They're trying to make as much money as they can in a short time. Not enough staff, too many seats. I waited 35 minutes to order. When I ordered it took over an hour to get my steak which had bones in it and was clearly sitting for at least 30 minutes. There was a burnt bug on my potato wedges! The cocktails are great but that's it. The business has so much potential, it's sad. It's a beautiful looking place. While I was there, almost everyone around me complained. The staff were so overworked. I felt really bad for them. One staff member had her child with her. She looked like she was going to cry from stress. She was wearing a hat. She should get a raise. She was great but she was trying to manage 50 tables at a time. It's impossible to make people happy that way! This place will go under I'm the coming years and will be replaced if they keep this up. I had to spit out my cold steak several times due to bones and pieces of what looked like plastic. One man near me complained about waiting 1 hour and 20 minutes for his food. They brought it right away, but cold. Another couple got very angry due to waiting 45 minutes for their food only to be told THEN that they were out of the food they ordered. The unprofressionalism is crazy. Again, the waitresses and the cocktail bartender were great, but they're dealing with a really badly planned business. I blame the boss and manager. It comes down to them. Such a shame. It could be the best place in town but instead it's over crowded, inefficient and money hungry.

I was hesitant to eat at a restaurant called Dr. Wine, but it turned out to be a lovely experience. Their small plate concept is a great way to try things. We ordered a la carte rather than the fixed menu. The beef bourguignon was excellent. Prices were reasonable, service was very good, we ate outside in the garden. And, yes, the wine was good too!!

Great concept of small dishes matched with wine. We wanted to share our dishes. We asked 2 waitstaff for sharing plates which took 10 minutes to appear, one was dirty. Another few minutes for a clean plate. In the meantime our food went cold. Service was hit and miss. Snails - cold, tuna tataki- too thick, beef tartare - nice, duck - best dish. It's worth a try, hopefully just an off night.

Category: Wine Bar. We’ve never been BOB (Big on Burgundy), but could become BOBs after visiting this great wine bar. The atmosphere is cool and polished, with hints of the Old-World. We sat downstairs but ventured upstairs for a peek at the impressive wine wall and wine-dominant dining room (I know what you’re thinking: what the heck does that mean? For the answer, see the photos). There’s also a big outdoor patio with heaters and what appears to be a retractable awning. But alas, it was retracted when we visited and therefore unusable because of the rain. There were also several sidewalk tables outside the front door but they were unused for the same rainy reason. This establishment serves both wine and food, but if you go only for wine, as we did, you can sit at the bar and consume nothing but vin rouge (or blanc if you so choose), to your heart’s content. The wine list is quite extensive (there are wine bottles everywhere, in every nook and cranny) and many wines are offered by the glass, which is what we were hunting. We ordered four burgundies by the glass, two for each of us, and cross-pollinated, so we were each able to drink about a half glass of four local wines. They were all exactly as the Doctor (Wine) ordered. The physician’s assistants were all hyper friendly and made Herculean efforts to understand our terrible French and only slightly better English. If you are interested in food too, there is a small but we’ll-curated menu of shareables (6p to 8:30p only), entrees, mains, and desserts. We loved this place. YouTube’s Chef’s Apprentice

This was the worst restaurant experience we’ve ever had. The food was awful — cold, sticky tagliatelle and a meat patty instead of the steak we ordered for our child. Unsurprisingly, the child refused to eat it. The duck with fried potatoes came with burnt potatoes (photo attached). The wine service was even worse. We ordered a Montrachet, visit card of Burgundy, one of their most expensive wines, but it was poured into a tiny white wine glass. When I asked for a proper Burgundy glass, I was told they didn’t have one, and the staff implied I didn’t know how wine should be served. Later, they even poured Pinot Noir into the same small glass that had been used for another wine and reacted rudely when we asked for a clean one. We spent a lot of money and left completely disappointed. Food, service, and respect for the product are shockingly bad here. Definitely not recommended.

Recommend this restaurant when dining in Dijon. Well priced and well executed. We ordered the ‘red’ degustation where we paired the meals with regional red wine. Nice atmosphere and service too.

Great place to visit. They have many interesting and very nice wine by glass option. Some wines are their own labels too! The sommelier are very professional and know how to pair food with wines and wine orders so it makes your night interesting. Food is good and they come in small portions. Might need to order quite a lot to be full.

Lovely place where you can definitely taste great wine and eat good food, the prices are a little big high but worth it.
