Wine bar
Dr. Wine is a popular spot that began as a wine bar and has since evolved into a full restaurant offering contemporary and local classic dishes. The interior boasts an industrial-chic decor, while the walled patio at the back provides a serene dining experience. In addition to its extensive wine selection, Dr. Wine also serves delicious platters of ham and cheese, making it a hybrid shop, restaurant, and wine club.
Nice and chill gastro wine bar! Smaller size of various classic dishes (you can easily have 3-4 per person), nice wine selection, both Burgundian and international. I’d come back.

I was hesitant to eat at a restaurant called Dr. Wine, but it turned out to be a lovely experience. Their small plate concept is a great way to try things. We ordered a la carte rather than the fixed menu. The beef bourguignon was excellent. Prices were reasonable, service was very good, we ate outside in the garden. And, yes, the wine was good too!!
Lee R — Google review
Great concept of small dishes matched with wine. We wanted to share our dishes. We asked 2 waitstaff for sharing plates which took 10 minutes to appear, one was dirty. Another few minutes for a clean plate. In the meantime our food went cold. Service was hit and miss. Snails - cold, tuna tataki- too thick, beef tartare - nice, duck - best dish. It's worth a try, hopefully just an off night.

Category: Wine Bar. We’ve never been BOB (Big on Burgundy), but could become BOBs after visiting this great wine bar. The atmosphere is cool and polished, with hints of the Old-World. We sat downstairs but ventured upstairs for a peek at the impressive wine wall and wine-dominant dining room (I know what you’re thinking: what the heck does that mean? For the answer, see the photos). There’s also a big outdoor patio with heaters and what appears to be a retractable awning. But alas, it was retracted when we visited and therefore unusable because of the rain. There were also several sidewalk tables outside the front door but they were unused for the same rainy reason. This establishment serves both wine and food, but if you go only for wine, as we did, you can sit at the bar and consume nothing but vin rouge (or blanc if you so choose), to your heart’s content. The wine list is quite extensive (there are wine bottles everywhere, in every nook and cranny) and many wines are offered by the glass, which is what we were hunting. We ordered four burgundies by the glass, two for each of us, and cross-pollinated, so we were each able to drink about a half glass of four local wines. They were all exactly as the Doctor (Wine) ordered. The physician’s assistants were all hyper friendly and made Herculean efforts to understand our terrible French and only slightly better English. If you are interested in food too, there is a small but we’ll-curated menu of shareables (6p to 8:30p only), entrees, mains, and desserts. We loved this place. YouTube’s Chef’s Apprentice
John A — Google review
This was the worst restaurant experience we’ve ever had. The food was awful — cold, sticky tagliatelle and a meat patty instead of the steak we ordered for our child. Unsurprisingly, the child refused to eat it. The duck with fried potatoes came with burnt potatoes (photo attached). The wine service was even worse. We ordered a Montrachet, visit card of Burgundy, one of their most expensive wines, but it was poured into a tiny white wine glass. When I asked for a proper Burgundy glass, I was told they didn’t have one, and the staff implied I didn’t know how wine should be served. Later, they even poured Pinot Noir into the same small glass that had been used for another wine and reacted rudely when we asked for a clean one. We spent a lot of money and left completely disappointed. Food, service, and respect for the product are shockingly bad here. Definitely not recommended.

Recommend this restaurant when dining in Dijon. Well priced and well executed. We ordered the ‘red’ degustation where we paired the meals with regional red wine. Nice atmosphere and service too.
Danielle W — Google review
Great place to visit. They have many interesting and very nice wine by glass option. Some wines are their own labels too! The sommelier are very professional and know how to pair food with wines and wine orders so it makes your night interesting. Food is good and they come in small portions. Might need to order quite a lot to be full.
Brian Y — Google review
Lovely place where you can definitely taste great wine and eat good food, the prices are a little big high but worth it.

Maison Millière is a historic establishment dating back to 1483, known for its well-preserved half-timber architecture and association with the film Cyrano. Originally built by textile merchant Guillaume Milliere, this classic building features visible support timbers and housed a shop on the first floor with living quarters above. Situated near iconic landmarks like the Church of Notre-Dame, it offers a charming garden courtyard for enjoying meals.
We had a wonderful coffee and wine here since we only visited during the teashop time. Jean- Francois and Lydia are wonderful, warm people and I loved the art and conversation that Jean- Francois offered. Beautiful space and warm atmosphere - people would join into song at times and it was great to spend a moment to slow down here. Check out the jewelry that is handmade in the shop section as well!

We had such lovely service from the gentleman who ran this shop. So kind and friendly that we came back twice to buy more souvenirs. He was happy to speak English and tell us a little about himself and the beauty of the town.
Danielle W — Google review
This is a quaint (and apparently historical) little place with garden at the back. We very much enjoyed our lunch there during a day trip to Dijon. The pork we had (marinated in soy sauce and coriander) was particularly tasty. Service was ok. Worth a stop.
D L — Google review
Very reasonably priced, great assortment of teas and drinks! Highly recommend the hotel chocolate with e'spices (reminded me of Christmas!) and spiced chai. Be ready to wait as sometimes there is only one person manning the cafe and he is really doing his best!!

Traditional food at its best in Dijon. Place: it is on an alley on the side to notre dame cathedral in Dijon. The place is beautiful and very traditional, so is it decorated. It is charming. Service: you need to book here for dinner, we did by luck. The service is super kind they are young people that is looking forward to help you and recommend you the best. However they are only 2 and they lack sometimes attention Food: Starters, snails and poached eggs on wine souce. The scargots were one of the most beautiful things I have ever tried. Covered on a freshly made puff pastry. If you come here just try it. The eggs were also good but compared to the snails was nothing. Mains. seabreem with a risotto and Turkey with potatoes and roasted vegetables. Both perfectly cooked. Lacked a bit of extra taste on the turkey. Dessert: creme brule and caramelized pumpkin with mascarpone cheese. Just one word, delicious. I strongly recommend this place. Great value, authentic cuisine and kind service.

Charming interior, good and efficient service. Traditional local cuisine, and great value as well. Just by the side of famous lucky awl. The wine we had was delicious and not expensive at all.

Cocktail bar
Bar
Monsieur Moutarde is a unique and cozy cocktail bar located in a 13th-century mansion. The terrace area, accessible through the bar, offers a stunning ambiance, especially in the early evening. The interior has vintage charm with little enclaves to enjoy your drinks. They offer an extensive list of cocktails and have a seasonal menu that's worth trying out. Additionally, Monsieur Moutarde serves a copious and varied brunch in a spacious setting.
I had the loveliest time at Monsieur Moutarde in Dijon! I sat out in their gorgeous garden – such a beautiful and relaxing setting, the perfect spot to unwind. I was so impressed with their creative mocktail menu; it’s fantastic to see such interesting non-alcoholic options. I tried two and both were absolutely delicious and refreshing. The snacks were equally wonderful – I especially enjoyed the gyoza (Raviolis Japonais aux légumes et au poulet, Duo de sauces Soja, Oignons frits, Coriandre) which were bursting with flavour and perfectly paired with the dipping sauces. The staff were warm, attentive, and the service was impeccable from start to finish. Monsieur Moutarde is truly a gem in Dijon – I can’t wait to return! 🌿🍹🥟

Really nice atmosphere, amazing house and super friendly staff! The cocktail menu is amazing with different and unexpected flavors. The foot menu could be a little bit more variable

A great place to grab a drink in Dijon. If you’re visiting, this should be a definite stop on your list. The atmosphere is really amazing from chic indoor seating areas to the outdoor patio that makes you feel relaxed just sitting there. The cocktails are great too - definitely try one of their signature drinks, it just adds to the experience.
H D — Google review
The focaccia was great, the nachos poor. G&T came with the tonic already added, so unable to taste the gin, at all. The Psycho Killer was good, and the Tequila very good, but served in a surprisingly small glass. Nice ambiance, good music, mixed opinions on the service. The guys serving were very friendly. Bartender knows his trade. Overall a positive experience. It gets very busy so the online reservation is worth using.
Traveling D — Google review
Great atmosphere and cocktail menu. We discovered this place while walking the streets. When you enter the space there is a great room with an artsy and whimsical décore, the terrace was full so we opted to get drinks inside. The service was fast and helpful, we ordered some margaritas and Calibré Rose, both were delicious.
Ben N — Google review
This is one of the coolest cocktail bars ever, easily rates along anything in NYC or Montreal. The building and interior alone are worth a visit, but the bar and service really make it stand out. Don't miss if you're in Dijon!
Mark R — Google review
A place with a great vibe. Excellent original cocktails, and small plates of tasty food, not expensive
Ken H — Google review
This was a really cool place to find for cocktails - the service was very good and the cocktails were as well. They were able to make me a decent Old Fashioned, although it wasn't on the menu which classified this as a good bar. One thing we didn't like was the seating - it was very uncomfortable, unfortunately, which is why we only stayed for one drink.

Step into Le Smart and experience a warm and inviting ambiance with a unique blend of baroque and trendy decor. The chef crafts innovative and delightful dishes that change with the seasons. Guests can enjoy incredible cocktails, impeccable service, and a lively nightclub downstairs for a complete evening of entertainment. Visitors praise the friendly service, excellent quality of food, and fair pricing. It's described as an absolute recommendation for those seeking a lovely dining experience in an eccentric setting.
Plane and simpel menu, excellent quality and very friendly service for a fair price. A bit excentric, but lovely. An absolute recommendation!
Meike W — Google review
Probably one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had. We hated our dishes — they tasted like school cafeteria food. What’s worse, the owner had the audacity to come at the end and request us to write a good review. There are plenty of good restaurants in Dijon, avoid this one.
Jackie — Google review
The bouncer was a racist. He let all French people in, but he immediately declined us (2 female and 2 male) zwo days in a row. Dijon is definitely not a friendly city to enjoy the nightlife as a tourist.
Adrian R — Google review
Disappointing. Review from an American living in Lyon France visiting Dijon. Food quality was ok and and the staff was generally friendly. I ordered a steak “ à point “ and it came “ bien cuit “. I don’t really mind and decided not to send it back, but when we mentioned it to the server, her response was that not overcooking a steak is complicated (a very strange position to take for a French restaurant…) and she clearly didn’t care. As the evening progressed and the restaurant got more crowded, they were struggling to keep pace, and eventually I just had to pay at the bar since they were ignoring eye contact. The ambiance was unusual. Music stage with a DJ if that’s your thing, but also paintings of women in various stages of undress and lounge furniture gives it sort of a sex club feel. I’d try someplace else.

Café de l'Industrie is a beloved institution in Dijon, known for its all-day service and loyal local clientele spanning different generations. The café offers a charming setting on the bustling yet peaceful pedestrian zone. Despite the kitchen being closed at times, visitors are still served by friendly and accommodating staff. The menu features highly recommended dishes such as fish & chips, Camembert, and Caesar salad.
This little cafe in Dijon is a food lover’s delight! Very friendly service and delicious food options. We visited three days in a row! Definitely on my list for next holiday.
Leonie P — Google review
We had a late lunch before an afternoon appointment. Convenient location in the pedestrian downtown area, one block away from the historic Les Halles (G. Eiffel). While the restaurant was busy we were seated almost immediately. Chose a table outside, easily accessible by wheelchair (only one step). Friendly staff attended to us quickly and took our orders. Typical French cuisine and comfort food. Very reasonable prices. Only a few minutes later our dishes were served. We had a Croque Monsieur, Beef Tartare, and a Carpaccio. All served with a side of green salad and French fries.
Walter P — Google review
My husband and I were in Dijon for a short break, a city known for lovely restaurants. But what a disappointment with this one! We went to Café de l' Industrie for lunch around 13.30 and ordered the lunch menu, charcuteríe as a starter , steak with french fries and creme brulé. My husband ordered steak tartar , which was served with french fries , the tartar didn't seem too fresh, the tartar had strings of fat and " nerv", impossible to chew and swallow. My steak was maxim of 50g, terrible cut, dry, chewy, too well done , when i had asked to have medium doneband freezing cold. It seemed that was the plate with a leftover from someone. The fries were burnt, dry and old . I asked the waiter that the mini steak was too well done and cold, he quickly apologised and took it back. The steak was changed for a less terrible one but still not good. The fries were the same old hard sticks. I went to toilet, there was no toilet paper and the floor was greasy and slippery. There were 3 people working there , not counting the chef, us and another table , who were drinking coffee. They seemed that were just waiting to finish their turns and go . The lunch costed 41€ and we left so frustrated, the 41€ worst spent in a ling while. I i should have sent it back and left the restaurant and gone to one of so many places available around town. I've got a photo from the 2nd plate, shame i didn't take one of the initial one .

Perfect cafe run by friendly staff. Cheese plate was incredibly generous, local, delicious, and very high value. Drinks and coffees prepared correctly, quickly, and with what you expect from a well-run French cafe. Compliments, bravo!
Jay Y — Google review
Delicious and very reasonably priced. They were kind to us even though we dont speak french well. It looked like a local favorite. I regret not having enough time to try the dessert because we were in a hurry. Even though they seemed very busy, they didn't turn us away. Instead, they kindly asked us to wait at the bar with drink and later showed us to table. I found them friendly.
SEONG L — Google review
Lunch was wonderful. Great flavours and presentation was spot on. Very friendly staff, they were welcoming and helpful
Michael D — Google review
Lovely experience for a morning coffee and croissant, which for two people was €5!! Sitting outside with all locals really gave you a genuine experience of Dijon before exploring the markets.
Thomas C — Google review
This was one of the few places that were open a bit later than the typical lunch time. The food was descent. By the time we arrived they had run out of all the lunch offerings like steaks and we had to choose from a small set of options. The steak tartare was tasty but it tasted like salad and I could not taste any meat there because the meat was minced too finely and there was too much mayo inside. The carpaccio was accompanied by hard cheese and sundried tomatoes and the meat was also barely distinguishable. The meat was sliced very well in thin pieces though. The dishes came with sides (fries and salad) and those were good. There was a staff member who spoke French and the staff was friendly overall

TARTIN'ART BOULANGERIE, SNACKING, TRAITEUR offers a diverse array of bread and pastries, including a delightful breakfast menu that features a drink and half baguette with butter and jam for an affordable price. Despite the occasional presence of bees outside the eatery, overall it provides a pleasant experience. The pain au chocolat is particularly delicious. This lovely establishment also serves scrumptious sandwiches filled with chicken or other meats along with vegetarian options.
Lovely Boulangerie serving great bagettes and sandwiches packed full of chicken or other meats plus vegetarian options. Coffee is self serve after you pay but the machine is fun to use. Staff very nice and happy to speak French with tourists if preferred.

The restaurant is located in a cellar, with a light at street level. The wine and beer selection is great and there is also a weekly selection of red and white wine. The cheese and cold meat boards are tasty. The ambiance is chilled. Staff are amazing and the venue is beautiful.
I can’t say enough about this wonderful place, beautiful cellar with rare wine collection. Olivier walked us through the interesting world of the burgundy wines His knowledge is priceless!!! Highly recommended!!!
SHLOMI S — Google review
Unforgettable one-of-a-kind wine cave bar! 15th-century charm, exceptional blind tastings of rare French vintages, including pre-war gems. Olivier, a true connoisseur, guided us through a journey of discovery from his own private wine collection. Generous pours and warm hospitality made for a truly unique, memorable experience. The local cheeses and cold cuts were phenomenal. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of the wines and food. A must-visit for any wine enthusiast seeking something extraordinary.

Incredible experience! Blind tasting of 8 vintage wines (white, red, sweet). The selection of wine is undoubtedly excellent. Though challenging to guess the specifics, the knowledgeable staff provided great insights. Highly recommended for wine enthusiasts visiting Dijon.
Alex G — Google review
We stumbled upon this wine bar during a one-night stopover and it proved to be one of the highlights of our trip. The selection of wine was absolutely incredible and the prices extremely reasonable (we did the blind wine tasting for €20 each). Every wine was explained with such care and the owner was so kind and friendly, even letting us taste extra wines for free at the end. The cheese board was also absolutely delicious. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.
Saskia B — Google review
Unique experiece. We visited Caveau de Saulx while our visit to Burgundy. This is a must visit place for any wine lover. The place is just amazing and cozy, the old stone arches give the perfect atmosphere for wine tasting. We had the complete blind tasting, and it was an absolute experience. Olivier (the owner) shared with us his love, passion and vast knowledge of French wine. We could taste different wines from old vintages, all of them in an incredible shape, despite the age (some of them, several decades). His collection of aged wines (available for a taste) from all places is huge and uncommon. There are no places like that in the world, so, if you are around, please pay a visit and meet Olivier, you will not be disappointed.
Xavier G — Google review
Nice high end wine bar with an atmospheric setting. This is not the place to come quaff some wine before dinner. They specialise in blind tastings and old vintage wines. The setting is really cool, though be warned, it's not cheap. Staff member was really helpful and lovely, though spoke limited English, so we didn't get that much information out of our blind tasting. Still a valuable opportunity to taste some vintages that we would never have been able to purchase ourselves. I'm a big red drinker, but thought the red that we were served had been aged past their prime - there was almost no fruit and while the structure of well made wine was still present, I didn't find it enjoyable drinking. A good learning opportunity, though.
Tash S — Google review
My husband and I visited Caveau de Saulx on our last night in Dijon and are so glad we did. Stepping down into the cellar was like being transported to another world. Our attendant Lou was a very knowledgeable and friendly host. This was not just any wine tasting, nor was it just a restaurant.. it was a completely unique and memorable experience. Highly recommend having the blind tasting with charcuterie - you will not be disappointed. Lou explained the food (house made pate, yum!) and wine so well; and made the blind tasting a really fun experience. He was also kind enough to show us the wine cellar. Thank you Lou for your passion, expertise and attentive nature; we loved sharing our evening with you and getting to know you and the wines! Do not miss this if you are in Dijon!
Christina T — Google review
The Caveau de Saulx is a precious and unique place where the pleasure of wine meets the special passion of the owner. Going down the stairs you can breathe an atmosphere of times gone by, with tables and sofas, slightly dim lights and stone walls. The place is very welcoming and characteristic. The place is focused on the value of vintage wines, which can be purchased both by the bottle and by the glass, and in blind tasting mode, which I highly recommend. The gastronomic accompaniment is suitable for the proposed concept: platters of selected high quality cured meats and cheeses, as well as some hot dishes, pleasantly accompany the wine experience. Particular note of merit goes to the owner who welcomes guests into his cellar with extreme passion, shares his rare bottles with them and accompanies them on an intense and fascinating tasting journey. The prices, given the quality and rarity offered, are really low because, repeating the owner's words, "wine is sharing". As a restaurateur, lover of wine and good gastronomy, the welcome and spirit that you can breathe here is very rare today.

The Cité Internationale de la Gastronomie et du Vin is a new and impressive attraction that offers an in-depth exploration of French cuisine and wine. This 15-acre, interactive space features various exhibitions dedicated to pastry, including a unique display showcasing the science behind baking. Visitors can also explore a photography exhibition highlighting the foods served during significant political meals, as well as a transformed church that now serves as a temple of wine, offering insights into Burgundy's renowned vintages.
A great venue with a variety of eateries, specialty shops, a cinema, and a wine bar. It feels fresh and modern, having opened just two years ago. Our group enjoyed a nice lunch before exploring the wine cellar. The venue also has five exhibitions, three of which are paid and focus on French gastronomy, while two are free. Since it was raining outside, we decided to check out the paid exhibitions, and we really enjoyed them. They are quite interactive, with monitors you can click through and play with—very engaging! Overall, it was a pleasant experience, though it might be best suited for groups or locals living nearby. Personally, I prefer dining in a small, local restaurant in the heart of the town, where you can soak up the lively atmosphere as people stroll through the pedestrian streets. This venue felt more like eating in a small shopping center, but the products were definitely of good quality.
Nadia R — Google review
It is not far from train station. According to Google Map it opens at 9:30, but it does not mean whole venue opens… Most of the shops opens at 10:30-11:00 and eateries probably 11:30 or later (we left after 11:00). So if you plan to eat and shop there, I recommend go there not too early. In any cases, I found it is not much worth to visit. Most of the well-known shops, such as Multi & Petitjean or Maille, are also in the middle of Dijon. As a market, the traditional one (Marché Central) is far more interesting and lively. It is all well and beautifully constructed (there’s even cute chapel inside of the venue), but walking in the middle of Dijon is exciting and you may be able to discover tiny, pretty, real French shops, cafes, bistros and restaurants unless you have just a couple of hours in Dijon.
Nori I — Google review
Very enjoyable visit and worth a stop if you have some time to kill in Dijon. They had an interactive “5 senses” exhibit that our young children enjoyed and we adults enjoyed the gastronomic section. Oh and of course the wine cave where you can taste hundreds of wine by the glass :) The cheese shop is also excellent.
Ryan B — Google review
Category: Attraction. The name says it all. Just outside the old-town area, on the other side of the train tracks, sits a huge complex of food-and-cooking-related shops, a movie theatre, restaurants, school of Burgundy wines, cultural and educational attractions, and exhibitions (such as “The Little Theatre of Fine Food and Drink”). There’s quite a lot of the latter, and you could spend an entire afternoon here (maybe most of a day). Admission is free. Walk into the main building, which houses the cultural and educational stuff. Enjoy whatever attracts you. Then pass out the other side into the “Gastronomic Village”, which is an open air collection of shops and restaurants. We strolled the shops (cheese, cookbooks (mostly in French), kitchen wares, dining wares), enjoyed freshly baked mini baguettes 🥖 with ham, cheese, butter, and cornichons from the Boulangerie, then tasted wine at the La Cave de la Cite wine tasting room (see my separate review). It was raining when we visited, so we could not fully experience all of the outdoor seating. But this is a great place for gastronomes and oenophiles. YouTube’s Chef’s Apprentice

Nice venue with different eateries, shops specialized in a specific product, a cinema and wine bar. Very fresh & new since it opened only 2 years ago. Our group had a nice lunch and then visited the wine cave. Overall it was a nice experience, but maybe it's best suited for a group or locals living nearby. My personal preference would be to eat in small local restaurant in the heart of the town center where the locals are strolling by on the pedestrian streets, etc to feel the life of the town. This place felt more like eating in a small shopping center, but the products were nice.
Tami C — Google review
Very interesting concept of gastronomical corner in town- butchery, fish monger, bakery, bars. And Burgundy has things to show and to share- superb wines, great food. Strangely it is quite empty, even a bit desolated, however, I would recommend to pass by if you are in Dijon. Check the chapel which is free and houses the museum of the famous climats.
Darius S — Google review
Great experience for any taste: art, gastronomy, culture, shopping, wine. Just let time stop there and explore 😍
Julia A — Google review
Amazing wine tasting cellar, with such an easy an convenient way to try multiple wines from not just Bourgogne, but also Spanish wines, Italian, and even some Southern American countries like Argentina. The Gastronomic museum itself is a bit underwhelming in terms of covering the basics of the gastronomic industry, but still worth a look around if in Dijon

Classic Irish pub with a good selection of beverages. The flagship would be a good ol' pint of Kilkenny. You can have that in fusion with a traditional French saucisson. There is a generous terrace outdoors and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.
Boro M — Google review
Came in around 10PM. They didn't serve tea anymore, but an Irish coffee was still possible. Struck me as rather odd since arguably a tea is easier to make. Ambiance was not really there with very loud music, bright lights and maybe ten guests inside. Waiting staff wasn't very kind and seemed rather bored. In short: it had the look of a pub but not the feel.

Quite expensive(approx. €7 per pint) and is very limited in irish drinks from tap (limited to Kilkenny, Guinness and Finnbarra cider). The whiskey choice is good but again very expensive. However, the people were very friendly there and the interior is really nice and cosy.

Wonderful treat in all of France. I’m a big cocktail fan. Been in the industry my entire life. The staff - owner included were super kind, generous and outgoing. I speak very little French and they took such good care of me on my journey in Dijon. I had 4 cocktails and each was different and perfectly balanced and executed. Being from the USA and from a huge cocktail scene France still lacks the knowledge of the cocktail in my opinion and experience. Which is very exciting! There’s so much room for growth and exploration. I can’t wait to visit again! The place is in a very happening and bustling area. Clean and simple and chic — the owner is a fantastic person. If you don’t like cocktails or know the industry go drink wine elsewhere. You’re in the best area of the world for Burgundy wines!

Walked by and something caught my eye! So had to check the premise and was delighted to stumble upon a hidden little pinball machine (ac/dc). Unfortunately it didn’t play that well (switches not reacting, action button not working ideally, flippers uneven and left one to weak to shoot right sided shots). But while I played I had two nice craft beers and only paid 8 euros. If I lived in Dijon this would easily become my regular bar. It was just a regular Monday when I visited so not much action in the bar otherwise but the few people and bartender were nice.

Bruno on the first night poured us a relatively rare Domaine Fourrier and a Georges Noellat and the next day, a Sylive Esmonin and an Armand Rousseau. He knows his wines and his some fantastic stock, many vintage. The second night, we spent all evening drinking with Bruno, his daughter and some of the regular customers there. This is a real wine bar with genuine hospitality. I'm just waiting to see when I can go again. I was a bit drunk on the second night and he stopped me from opening a Romanee Conti La Tache. That's waiting for me!

We came here having read an article in the New York Times, but as so many Google reviews have already pointed out the owner is rude and unhelpful. He actually joked about how rude he was being to us with his friends at the bar, so clearly this is something he does intentionally.

Night club
Bar
If you're looking for a vibrant nightlife experience in Dijon, "Bal'tazar" is the place to be! This lively club opens its doors at 12:30 a.m., but the real energy kicks off around 2 a.m. The atmosphere is electric, especially during themed nights like the Brazilian evening, where guests are treated to fantastic music and an engaging ambiance. Julien, the manager, stands out for his exceptional hospitality and professionalism, ensuring that everyone has a memorable time from start to finish.
(Translated by Google) Very nice night establishment, I am surprised by the other comments on Google Maps. During my first visit to this nightclub recently, I had a great time which encourages me to return there, as well as to the neighboring Melkior. The nightclub is clean, neat, elegant and there are relatively many places to sit, which allows you to rest if you get tired of standing. In addition, I emphasize an important point: the toilets are clean throughout the evening, and although sometimes they can be dirty, it is quickly cleaned. Security also seems to be there, with security guards on both sides of the establishment. As for the DJ, I really appreciated his choice of music, the transitions and the atmosphere established, which really evokes a clubbing evening, which is rather rare in Dijon establishments. The only downside would perhaps be a few "strange" customers, although entry is very selective, which is good. The service, although a little long, is very good and the drinks are delicious. I appreciated the principle of "de-alcoholized drinks", allowing you to rediscover the taste of alcohol without having its effects. I recommend that you spend your evening in the Melkior and Baltazar establishments, which in my opinion, along with the Byron Bay, are the best night establishments for those who love clubbing and a great evening.

Pretty nice and very selective night club in Dijon. The place is a little bit small but very well designed. No actual dance floor. Reservations are strongly recommended in order to have your own table and space, otherwise it’s just too crowded and no place to sit. The service is pretty slow since only 3 waiters run the whole place. The music is good but needs a little update.

(Translated by Google) To flee. Table taken with a certain amount paid initially. We want to buy an extra magnum (300 euros per bottle) And once paid surprise, you have to get a bottle of champagne to have our magnum. Obviously the servers don't know the law... bravo for the forced sale! Of course the bottle of champagne is belair, a more than disgusting “champagne” that makes you want to vomit. (Original) A fuir.

(Translated by Google) Having moved, we haven't been there for some time. I came back this Saturday evening with friends who told me that things had evolved and I was not disappointed! The music, the atmosphere, everything was really great! Even better than before, I was afraid of being nostalgic for the good old days but the waiters and the DJ have kept up to date both in the musical choices and in their bottle sending shows. Despite a lot of people at the entrance and in the club, I obviously recommend it!

(Translated by Google) Evenings with girls, as usual Booba very nice at the entrance. But then 1 year without coming and what can we say about the atmosphere. Before, we felt safe, a correct average age (not too young) which allowed for a good atmosphere. We found ourselves among some stoned, poorly dressed kids. Impossible to dance quietly. In short, we won't be coming back. We leave beautiful years behind us…

(Translated by Google) Good evening, my friends and I were very poorly received by one of the security guards. He refused us entry (which is his right). However, he physically attacked us, violently pushing one of my friends. I don't understand this gesture, as we left the queue. Faced with the violence of this gesture, we had to change our habits and change establishments.

(Translated by Google) We came to spend New Year's Eve in this club, for an evening sold like a dream, at 30€ entry, we had to buy 2 bottles to get a table, among other people, music not at all current or atmospheric with 0 transitions and always the same rhythm. At 2 o'clock we are given a countdown that comes out of nowhere with tornadoes of wind and smoke, the only good moment with good music by the way.
