The surrounding area offers a delightful stroll along the promenade, shaded by iconic palm trees and featuring luxurious villas and beautiful gardens. Visitors can explore attractions like Villa Ormond with its enchanting park, the ancient Cathedral of San Lorenzo, and the domes of the Orthodox Church. Fun experience for me. It was my first time playing in casino. The ambiance is great. Staff are welcoming and friendly.

Wasn’t a casino experience for us. The people that goes into the private area are not the type of people you expect to see, so don’t waste an outfit… just wear jeans and a polo and You will be totally fine… We end up going to the slot machines because was more ambient than the upstairs room. 🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️ ⭐️ The building itself is magnificent! 👌🏽

We are very occasional gamblers, but like to visit a casino on holiday. So we wandered into this one in Sanremo. Staff at the front were friendly and we went into the large room with slot machines. Tried a few machines and cashed out if we didn't like it. Then we found a machine downstairs and things went haywire. The machine took a large bet without playing, so we asked for help. The staff member pressed buttons and 20 euro drained away. A manager was called who badgered us to play on. I refused and asked for our original stake of 24 euro back. By this time 5 members of staff were around us!! I told them that this intimidation tactic was out of order and we were more resolved to not be strong armed into going away. At this point the manager took some notes and told us to wait. We chatted amicable with one of the staff for a while and the other 3 drifted off. At least half an hour later a piece of paper was given to us begrudgingly and we were told to go to the cashier. We did get out money back, but the initial somewhat aggressive treatment has prompted me to give a rare one star review.

Great looking building. Very well lit during the night. Inviting with a red carpet and well maintained surroundings. Situated in the heart of Sanremo, it is for some the reason they go to Sanremo since it's one of the most popular casinos in the area.

Villa Nobel, named after the renowned scientist Alfred Nobel, is a striking Moorish-style mansion dating back to 1870. It served as a retreat and laboratory for Nobel's scientific pursuits during the late 19th century. The villa now hosts the 'Discover the 19th Century' exhibition showcasing technological advancements of that era and Nobel's contributions across various fields. Additionally, visitors can explore rooms dedicated to Nobel's life and personality.
Great place to spend first half of a day. Opening hours 9:30-12:30. Exploring the villa takes around 1 hour. €7 per adult, €5 per kid. The villa and surrounding garden is lovely. Our kid, and us, adults, loved it.
Andrei M — Google review
Elegant and peaceful, Villa Nobel is a beautifully preserved 19th-century residence with stunning gardens and sea views. It was the final home of Alfred Nobel, and today it hosts a small museum about his life and legacy. A quiet and inspiring spot for history lovers, just a short walk from central Sanremo.
Aleksandra M — Google review
We visited Villa Nobel on a Thursday, one of the few days it's open, and walked there from Sanremo’s city center in about 15 minutes. It's a quiet, historically significant place that will mostly appeal to those already interested in Alfred Nobel. The exhibitions are primarily in Italian, but there’s a multilingual audio tour you can follow on your phone. We already knew quite a bit about Nobel, so we were able to piece things together fairly well even without translations. The villa is beautiful but could use some maintenance. Some areas were closed off, including the top floor, and one floor appeared to be used as offices. Seeing Nobel’s bed where he died felt slightly odd, but it was respectfully presented. Worth visiting if you're genuinely interested in Nobel and his legacy. We noticed quite a few other Swedish visitors, which wasn’t too surprising.

Our wedding at this venue was truly magical. Venetia, the event manager, was such a great help and made everything run so smoothly. The catering by Prime Quality was great, with delicious food and great service. It honestly felt like a dream come true.

Charming villa, 2 floors and lovely terrace, overlooking the Sea. I would highly recommend to visit 😊 . The reception lady is very friendly. Cozy furniture of the house and Interesting exhibition of achievements of Alfred Nobel at the basement floor.

A visit to Sanremo wouldn't be complete without exploring the enchanting Porticato de La Pigna, a historic district that invites you to wander through its narrow, cobblestoned streets. Established in the 11th century and named for its pinecone-like layout, this area was fortified over the years to protect against Moorish pirate raids. The charm of La Pigna is particularly delightful during summer when its cool alleys provide a refreshing escape from the heat.

I had the opportunity to live there, in an apartment in the La Pigna neighborhood. The aromas of fusion cuisine, prepared by residents of various ethnicities, permeate the air. You'll also find artists who have decided to open their workshops in rustic spaces where blacksmiths and fishermen once lived. Everything seems magical, among the narrow streets they call "caruggi." Living there, even for a few days, is a unique experience. (Original) C'è una parte di Sanremo chiamata la pigna. È il centro storico, abitazioni arroccate affacciate a piazze caratteristiche. There's no shortage of surprises along the way: that's the beauty of strolling slowly. Just open your eyes and ears to what's around you and follow that subtle inner feeling, which rarely deceives. Santuario Diocesano Nostra Signora Assunta - Madonna della Costa is a stately hilltop church in Sanremo, offering stunning views of the city and the sea. The sanctuary, located on the Pigna hill-promontory, features ornate frescoes and statues that attract visitors. The interior boasts historic paintings, statues, and other works of art.
What a beautiful surprise!! This small church had amazing sculptures and paintings. If you are already at the top of the hill, it is certainly worth visiting.

At the top of the Pigna, this fantastic sanctuary dedicated to the Virgin is particularly important to the inhabitants of San Remo who could spot it when they were at sea. Erected to celebrate the liberation from Doria rule in 1361, the building today presents a structure that was remodeled in the Baroque period. Inside, it's the opportunity to admire a painting of the Virgin and Child by Nicolo da Voltri (15th century), considered miraculous.

Osteria del Marinaio is a warm and cozy Italian restaurant with a limited menu. It can be a bit pricey if you're unsure of what to order, but it's worth stopping by for their wide selection of fresh seafood. The restaurant has a charming sea-themed decor and offers various types of fish to choose from. Their house prosecco is highly recommended, and the mussels are particularly delicious.
A super cozy, well-decorated restaurant with amazing food, especially if you take a careful look at the menu. The tuna with pistachio crust and the grilled octopus with broccoli are quite something! Same for the cod tempura with butter orange jam!

The blue fin tuna was exquisite. Tender melting in the mouth. The octopus was perfectly cooked. Staff is lovely and genuine. Wine selection is extensive and well priced. Again and again.

Taverna Al 29 is a top restaurant in Sanremo, known for its intimate atmosphere and delicious food. It's advisable to make reservations early due to its small size. The restaurant offers great service, amazing food, and an excellent selection of wines, providing a unique and authentic Italian dining experience. Visitors praise the friendly staff, relaxed ambiance, and highly recommend it as a hidden gem in San Remo for those seeking an exceptional dining experience.
What a fantastic find this is, on the outskirts of the old town in a beautiful setting whether inside the restaurant or outside. The hosts are very welcoming and the food is amazing with a variety of freshly cooked local Italian dishes. You are not rushed and the atmosphere is nice and relaxing. This is the second time we have visited and we were remembered from the year before as we are a football team from England. Will visit again with Family.

Taverna Al 29 offers an excellent dining experience with amazing service and incredibly welcoming, friendly staff who truly make you feel at home. The starters and spaghetti were delicious—full of flavour and cooked to perfection. As a nice touch, they offered us limoncello at the end of the meal. While I’m not usually a fan, I have to admit it was quite good and added to the overall experience. However, I wouldn't recommend it as a place to go specifically for pizza; while they are on the menu, they're just okay compared to the other dishes. The only thing holding me back from giving 5 stars is the somewhat limited variety of dishes on the menu. Expanding their offerings would make the experience even better. Still, it's a wonderful spot for a tasty and a very enjoyable meal!

Saw this restaurant on trip advisor and decided to give it a try. It is off the main street in a piazza & it didn't disappoint. We were greeted at the door by the owner, who was friendly and explained the menu. The restaurant was very authentic, very clean & food was great with plenty of choice. After eating we were given a small bottle of lemoncello which was a lovely touch. Would definitely visit again.

A charming restaurant tucked away in La Pigna. We dined here for dinner and sat outside in the square. Wonderful atmosphere and good music choice. The food is delicious but the service is what makes this place our favorite. They were all so friendly and funny. Always a smile to greet us everyday when we would walk by to and from our apartment near by. It was like we were all old friends. They were attentive, relaxed, and made sure we were happy which is appreciated when you don’t always come across that in other restaurants. Thank you for the excellent service and wonderful memories for our time in Sanremo. We will be back when we return next year!

We are from USA visiting Sanremo for a day Andre the owner was disrespectful and unfriendly . He sat at his table flagging people on did not know how to greet them.. The waiters kept going to tables who were sweated after us and serving them . Waited for our food for over 1.5 hour, no one came to our table to check , appetizer salad and main course arrived at the same time , had to wait for the desert a long time as well not to mention the check , He only came to us because we decided to leave Not recommended to any one .

We have never seen such rude service anywhere in the city. They literally threw the menu on the table. The food is tasteless and does not match the description. The products look like frozen. The place itself looks uncomfortable, plastic furniture, the square is being renovated.

If you're in Sanremo and want to enjoy some delicious Italian cuisine, Ristorante La Pignese is a great place to go. Not only are the dishes typically Mediterranean-style, but they also have some delicious locally-made wines to match. The staff are always very friendly and accommodating, so you'll feel right at home.
We had a lovely lunch here during our visit to San Remo. The servers were very attentive. They supplied very good gluten-free bread sticks for me 👍 I had an appetizer of 2 artichoke flans, one with bagna cauda sauce and one with castelmagno cheese sauce. The artichokes were fresh and very tasty. The bagna cauda could have used more anchovies. My husband had the pacheri pasta, and we both had the stockfish and polenta main course, which was delicious. A larger portion would have been appreciated 😋😅 The dessert cart was filled with beautiful choices, but we are still trying to lose some holiday weight, so we reluctantly passed 😅

Ristorante Pizzeria Club 64, located in the center of SanRemo near a casino, is a delightful restaurant that offers unique half-half pizza options. The pizzas are cooked in a wood-fire oven, giving them a smoky undertone and enhancing their flavors. In addition to pizza, this establishment also serves fresh seafood dishes. The restaurant has friendly and attentive staff who provide efficient service.
possibly one of the most amazing pizza in town. the staff is really giving you the attention you’ll need. this restaurant pizzeria is a must try. definitely try out the ‘maiala’!! they have alcohol-free beer. inside there is no internet but i guess it’s better?? 10/10

If you tell anyone in Sanremo that you are going to Pizzeria Club 64 for dinner, they will all comment on how this is a good choice. After many years with my Italian wife of eating at different restaurants for pizza in Sanremo, this one is absolutely the best. The pizza is a perfect work of art. If you like, there are a few other great non-pizza dishes on the menu, but I would recommend coming here for pizza. Pick one randomly, although the four seasons pizza has always been my wife's favorite. I included a picture for you. For my fellow Americans, please note that the best pizza is baked in a very hot oven that adds some char to the crust. In the USA, most pizza shops under cook pizza. Please try this pizza and the charred bits. You will go back to America asking for your pizza to be well-done with some char. Just get reservations on Friday and Saturday evening, but if you're early on weeknights, you can get a table walk-in.

After 8 years we returned to San Remo and Club 64. We were curious whether they maintained the level. We were 4 people for 2 dinners and it was great. My sons are pizza fans and for 8 years they said that the one from Club 64 was the best. Now they just confirmed it. Very good dough, great sauce and fresh toppings. Food worth recommending.

My wife and I had walked by the restaurant earlier in the day and from the other side of the street, It only looked like a small take out pizza restaurant. Later in the evening, while looking for a restaurant to dine close to our Airbnb, we walked by and noticed through the window that there was actually a dining room as well below the level of the sidewalk. While the restaurant is a little tight, we were seated immediately and ended up enjoying a couple really nice pizzas as well as a salad and grilled vegetables. We recommend them for their pizza for sure!

The waiters are very friendly and do not mind if you do not speak Italian. The Pizzas tasted really great and we did not wait long until they were served. And that Chili-oil they have there is incredible. Overall a really nice place to eat!

Got sick from the food Very nice people, the waiter was super generous with his time, efforts and suggestions and was very knowledgeable about all the dishes. We had delicious wine and the meal was fairly good. The only problem, and I noticed it right away was that my dish was super greasy - more than it should have been in my opinion, especially for an authentic meal in Italy. They should know better than that. The long and the short of it was that I ended up getting sick fairly quickly after I ate less than half the plate, and was regretting having eaten any of it. I wish I could recommend the place, but unfortunately based on this experience I really can't. My friend said his meal was average or just below, and while the staff was great and the ambiance was super low key - also very short walk from our hotel (Hotel Sole Mare), it was a very average place. I would say there are probably better places to visit in Sanremo than this. The prices were also higher than one would expect at such a chill place such as this.

Pizza Power, located slightly away from the touristy area of San Remo, offers a seasonal pizza with ricotta, sausage, and friarielli that is worth trying. This restaurant bakes their pizzas in a wood-fired oven, resulting in a subtly smoky flavor in each bite. With around 40 different types of pizza to choose from, it may be challenging to find the perfect one; however, they offer menus in various languages and serve draft beer for an ideal pairing.
Love this place! My friends had their regular pizzas and are fully in love, while me - a vegan - was treated really nice (even though I asked for something out of menu) and was able to order a cheese-less pizza with my choice of toppings. The staff was really warm and funny, and the atmosphere was just great. Thank you!

Really delicious Pizza! Ist was luck, that we found this small restaurant. They deliver in Sanremo and have a small room to eat there. The Pizza was really good. A choice of around 40 diffrent types of pizza makes it hard to get the right one, but I‘m sure, you can‘t make a mistake. They have menus in diffrent languages. And draft beer. A perfect combination, in my opinion. And additional: very friendly service! I‘m sure, I‘ll come back!
