It encompasses three different attractions in one, this being the submergables and vehicle museum, the redoutable submarine and the aquarium. And not forgetting the Titanic museum.

We visited recently as part of a cruise stop with a teen and 8yo. The Titanic exhibition was the main draw for us and it was really informative and well done. The issue is that all the immersive elements and audio visual exhibits are walkways, so it’s impossible to watch anything and enjoy the full experience without people constantly walking past. This completely ruined the experience for us. The ocean exhibit is smaller but really excellent and the kids loved it. We didn’t get to see the sub as it was an hour to queue which we were advised on entry, and the place is generally oversold and too busy to enjoy properly. If you don’t mind a jam packed overcrowded experience then you’ll love it as the exhibits are very good, but I wouldn’t pay €70 again for such a poor experience.

I was very impressed. Never thought I'd be traipsing around a submarine in my life. It was very interesting and the audio guide was very informative although a bit long. The 3 screens with the 3 stories of 3 people's lives just before, on and during the Titanic almost had me in tears - very well done! I sadly missed the timeline movie of the actual sinking but the brief part I saw looked amazing. As for the Aquarium, absolutely beautiful 😍 Cannot recommend this venue enough.

Worth it just for the submarine - fascinating. The Titanic thing wasn’t for me, and the aquarium was nice enough, but we all agreed (2 adults, 2 late teens) that we would have been happy with just the sub. Price includes the audio guide (defo use it - it’s very interesting) which is nice, plus you can press buttons / twist levers/sit in the mess/climb into a bed rather than it all being screened off which isn’t always the case. A “must visit” if you are in the area.

Beautiful park with a sensory garden and a botanical garden/green house (which is currently under restauration and only partly open, sadly). We almost missed the entrance because it's just off a normal steet. It is a beautiful place to go for a walk, have a picnic or look at the birds. There's a lot of history and they have signs in English and french. I would definitely recommend visiting here if you're in Cherbourg. No entrance fee.

Lovely gardens in Cherbourge. Quiet peaceful walk and enjoy the gardens. My daughter got engaged here so it's a special place for us now. We visited on a Sunday.... So the town was all closed up. Not much to do in the little down. All excursions seem to be out to war memorials.

There is some good work by lesser known artists but stunning work especially a massive painting of the Battle of Hastings. Definitely worth a visit if art museums are your kind of thing.

An extensive collection of beautiful paintings, mainly Spanish, Italian and French from the 15th to 19th centuries. Being a port it also has some stunning large naval scenes. We have a very sensitive young child who had to be rushed through a small Italian section near the start as it was mildly macabre otherwise it's fine for young families.

Truly excellent meal that continuously surprised and delighted us over the 2 1/2 hours we were there. With whimsical cheffy names to the various courses like a “l’abrogade” and “duchesse a Paris” you weren’t exactly sure what you were going to wind up with, but it didn’t matter because almost everything was delicious and clearly inspired. Two minor quibbles: the first sushi pieces were just ok — nothing beyond what you’d expect at a good sushi bar — and I shouldn’t have to ask for water repeatedly…it should just be delivered seamlessly.

I thought that I left a review for Le Pily a while back when I took my wife there for our anniversary. It was one of our favorite dinners in France and we highly recommend. Each course was perfectly presented and the textures and combinations was everything you would hope for from a restaurant of this caliber. I don't remember the prices but I do remember think it was extremely high value for what paid. Amazing wine pairing. They easily took into account the few allergies and food preferences we had.

Honestly, that's not a real michelin Star restaurant. The serving of food is like in michelin star restaurant, nice view, luxury interior. But the food wasn't really good, in 6 course menu probably only 2 plates was nice. The wine list is good.
