"Natale con Pinocchio!" is a delightful celebration that brings the beloved tale of Pinocchio to life in Tuscany. Nestled in the charming town of Collodi, where the story's author grew up, this enchanting park offers families an immersive experience filled with fun activities and whimsical attractions. Visitors can stroll through beautifully landscaped gardens adorned with bronze statues depicting characters from the classic fairytale.
Beautiful park about pinocchio!!!! Realky nice experience!!! Very poetic and thanks God it's not disneyland!!!

Park is very run down and unloved. Gardens over the road are one of the most beautiful we’ve ever seen and worth the ticket price alone.

(Translated by Google) It probably needs a little more attention. The metal statues are beautiful, but the pirate ship is falling apart. The paths could use some swept and tidying every now and then. The maze is practically nonexistent, with dry vegetation. The old rides are beautiful to look at, and the souvenir area before the exit has empty shelves and display cases. My daughter is still happy to have been there. (Translated by Google) A wonderful experience that took me back to when I used to take my son there. It probably needs a little more attention. The avenues need cleaning, some attractions like the pirate ship need renovation. The old rides are beautiful to look at, but they're not in operation. The ticket price is perhaps a little high, but if it helps restore the park to its former glory, so be it! Glad to have returned after so many years. (Translated by Google) Pinocchio Park – A Blast from the Past Visiting Pinocchio Park in Collodi was like stepping back in time: the park is virtually identical to when I visited as a child, 40-50 years ago. Unfortunately, there are no significant innovations, and the ticket price is still steep. The bar and restaurant were closed during our visit, but the restrooms were clean and tidy. The only real attraction that thrilled the kids was the zipline, which was truly fun and well-designed. Also noteworthy is the courtesy and friendliness of the staff, always available. A fascinating experience for those seeking memories of the past, but one that needs updating to be truly competitive and attractive for today's families.

The climbing park is completely broken, the playground is broken and dirty. Most of it was closed, only two carousels were in operation, and they were complete junk! Tickets are completely overpriced; the park isn't worth the money! A complete tourist rip-off! The only nice thing was the butterflies you could see. (Original) Schlimmster Park ever! (Translated by Google) Warning: Worst park we've ever visited! We were so excited to visit Pinocchio Park – and were bitterly disappointed. The entire park is in a terrible state: dilapidated attractions from long ago, many broken, crumbling buildings, and a labyrinth so overgrown it's almost impossible to enter. The children's playground? Broken and dangerous – absolutely unsuitable for children. Everywhere is dirty, unkempt, and neglected. There's no sign of beautiful greenery or a well-maintained ambiance. The staff is unfriendly and seems annoyed, as if visitors are just a burden. Particularly brazen: The interactive museum, supposedly a highlight, is only open in winter. During the peak summer season, when families travel there specifically, it remains closed – a complete rip-off. The entrance fees are absolutely outrageous. Far too high for what you get. Tourists are being ripped off here. Our conclusion: Stay away from this place. Pinocchio Park is dirty, broken, overpriced, and a complete disappointment. A warning to all families: Save your time, money, and nerves!

If you're planning a visit to the enchanting Pinocchio Park, don't miss the opportunity to explore the Storico Giardino Garzoni - Casa delle Farfalle, located just across the street. This delightful Butterfly House may be compact, but it boasts an impressive collection of over 40 butterfly species from various global habitats. Visitors can witness the fascinating lifecycle of these creatures, from their humble beginnings as eggs to their transformation into vibrant butterflies.
Amazing view and experience. The place could be kept better by the managing foundation, but it still amazes everybody regardless. They recently acquired the old villa at the top of the garden which is now accessible (at least the courtyard in front) and is simply stunning!

Been here two times, such a dreamy place 🥰 Update 2023: I was here when it was still possible to visit the gardens alone (5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, so so beautiful!). It’s a shame they only offer combined tickets with Pinocchio Park now. As an adult with no kids, a visit in Pinocchio Park is absolutely useless. And 26€ for the gardens alone… way overpriced.
Melina R — Google review
Wonderful park. Appr.1 hour enough to make some beautiful pictures in the garden. The butterfly house is amazing! Unfortunately you can't visit the castle. It's a bit costly.
Katalin C — Google review
It was quite an amazing place, I wish they have done a better job in maintenance. The plants are way over grown. I can get the ticket for only the garden so no problems with the Pinocchio's Park.

From what I remember, there was no entrance fee. Perhaps because we were out of season (beginning of May). We also managed to find a wedding, which took place in this charming place, and the organizer was a nice Polish woman. The garden is beautiful, several hours of walking along paths and stairs. It may not be 100% well-groomed, but so is its charm. It cannot be said to be run down or cluttered. In our opinion, the place is wonderful and it is worth wandering around a bit longer.
W3kije T — Google review
Beautiful place, had somewhat of an abandoned feel when we visited helped by it being very quiet.
John R — Google review
Very small enclosures for the animals, especially the piranhas inside the butterfly house and the hidden away goat at the top of the garden. €70+ for 4 people for a 20 minute experience.
Connor W — Google review
That is the most expensive entrance fee I have ever seen. 65 euro for family and 20 euro for each person single entry. Come on that is ridiculous. Guess what the place was completely empty and they were 2 German couple when they saw the price they came back and said: that is insane. Please rethink About these prices and let people enjoy the garden instead of asking high fees and have no one there.

Nice spot for a 1-hour unique programme to see and smell the trees blooming, raising baby lemons and mature lemons, walking beneath arches full of lemons hanging down. Also interesting to see the variety of species. We can see the result of more than 40 years work and specific knowledge here. Absolutely worth the entrance fee.

Great place and Lady behind the register told me everything about the place she could be tourist guide Im not that intrested in gardening or lemon trees but she told the story of Oscar Tintori in such a intresting way I was fascinated. ^^ My boyfriend was so happy to lern about many kinds of lemon trees he wanted to buy so many but we culdnt get more than 2 right now. The other lady who was seling trees from greenhouse speaks only italian but she is great with ppl and even with language barier she pretty easily found out what we needed. I love her positve energy <3 So the place is 10/10 lemon trees colection looks beautifuul its great place to visit. I would recomend to but books and fertilizers from the store and the trees ofc. Its a great thing to bring back home from itally our small flat smells amazing thanks to those trees and with the books I know how to take care of then🥰🥰🥰

Impressive amount of different citrusfruits. Also the information about the different types is very interesting. Small area which you can finish in 30 - 45 minutes. Entrance fee of 5 Euro's is relatively expensive. Dissapointing is that you cannot taste the Limoncino they sell. On top of that, the Limoncino is not own produced. The logo is from Tintori, but the fruits used are from "somewhere in Pisa". Also the lady from the store was uninterested.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful and ancient Franciscan church located in the heart of the historic center of Prato, a few steps from the most famous church of Santa Maria delle Carceri and the imposing Emperor's Castle. On 24 July 1228, eight days after the canonization of Francis of Assisi, the Municipality of Prato bought land for the friars minor, near the Prato "castrum" in the place called "l'Oliveto", so that they could build a church there and a convent. The first small church was built as early as 1233, but the construction of the current complex only began in 1281, due to events linked to the expansion of the city walls around the village of Santa Trinita. The church was then named after San Francesco d'Assisi... and is among the oldest churches in Prato. It is immediately striking for the dualism of the materials used; in fact, if for the scenographic facade the consolidated cladding of two-tone, white and green serpentine marble distributed in horizontal bands typical of the Tuscan Romanesque was adopted, the rest of the building (left bare of the cladding) shows a peculiarity of local record: it is the first church in history - in the Prato area - to be built entirely in bricks rather than stone. Also noteworthy is the monumental entrance portal, framed by thin and elegant cylindrical columns, surmounted by a powerful architrave, on which the coat of arms and two characters of the well-known Pugliesi family are sculpted. The lunette above, recently restored, depicting the Immaculate Madonna is the work of the painter Martino Benelli, created in the first half of the nineteenth century. The bell tower is also from almost the same period: designed by the Prato architect Antonio Bernini and built outside the body of the church between 1798 and 1802, to replace the original one which rested on the apse. The facade ends with the large triangular tympanum where a valuable thematic relief (in stucco) stands out: "The Stigmata of San Francesco" by Andrea della Robbia, dating back to around 1490, when he was already working on the internal decorations of the nearby church of Santa Maria delle Carceri .

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at La Taverna dei Miracoli da Mangiafuoco. The cuisine was excellent, with delicious offerings like bruschetta and sardines as appetizers, a tasty noodle dish, and satisfying pizza for the kids. The service was friendly, and the fact that the majority of patrons were locals speaks to the establishment's quality. While English is acceptable for ordering, it's clear that it's not their preferred language.
The place feels like Italian home - full of love and delicious food ❤️ Portions were so big and the man who work there was really kind and funny having a conversation with us between meals. I really recommend that experience!

Everything was amazing. Easily the best food I have had in Tuscany. Have in mind that you might have to explain exactly what you want point at the menu. The selection of local wines was also very good.

Very bad experience…we order 12 plates and they bring one pizza after 25 minutes…the ribeye awful…the salad with no olive oil…the pasta makes you really don’t thing that you are in Italy…in the end we order a carbonara with seafood and after half an hour we told them not to bring it…and also they charge a baby 12 month cover😂😂😂only pizza was good… Very bad experience I am sorry…

The family had a full italian experience: seven course meal that was served hot for each course. The waitress was also excellent serving us and explaining the dishes. A true eating experience!

A wonderful service and delightful dinner. We were a group of fourteen and had an amazing time, the waiter was fantastic, with a dmile and an attitude that couldn't help but make you smile. All platters were empty by the end and happy faces were seen around the table. Can recommend to anyone nearby

We have been in Italy for two weeks and this spinach and ricotta ravioli might be my favorite pasta to date, the grilled vegetable side I had was also delicious and the french fires got rave reviews. The restaurant is beautiful old stone, with high ceilings, and enough windows that the space was very light, the dining rooms were a nice size. The staff was attentive and the food came out quickly. We ended up with one unexpected dish, our fault as we had discussed it with the waiter sufficiently that I could understand why he thought we were ordering it. We have had a couple mis-orders on this trip, carbonara pizza instead of the pasta we expected, and this was just another reminder to review the order, pointing at items in the menu to make sure nothing was lost in translation. An excellent restaurant if you are looking for a little drive out of Montecatini.

Ristorante Villa Garzoni is located in the stunning Villa Garzoni, which overlooks the village of Collodi. The historic Garzoni garden is a masterpiece, blending Renaissance geometry with Baroque natural elements. The garden features grottoes, statues of mythological beings, greenhouses with peacocks, and bamboo forests. The 18th-century garden boasts a mix of Renaissance and Baroque styles with pathways lined with statues leading to the villa.
Exceptionally good food and very excellent and nice waitresses. Everything is cooked and prepared with a lot of love. Homemade pasta and homemade bread, etc. An idyllic location right at the Villa Park. Perfect for the end of the day to take a cocktail and a delicious meal.

6 euros for a lemonade bottle. Enough said. Owner might respond unprofessionally to this review - as they sometimes seem to do - that we should have read the menu better, which again says enough. Also, the coperto was also far above average, which again says enough. Also, it was linked to a butterfly thingie for which you could only buy a ticket linked to some dumb outdated amusement park. 26 euros in total. The owner to that place also has not learnt the basic lesson that responding passive aggressively to negative Google reviews is in bad form. Which again says enough. Only fun part about the place is reading the Google reviews about it. The whole town is a racket. Worried local mob will track me down now.

We chose for this restaurant having read the reviews and considering the location. For us it was a very bad restaurant. They act like a Michelin star restaurant while they are not! The food is worse in terms of quantity and quality with ridiculous high prices!! For a starter and some “pasta” with very small portions we paid €160 for 4 persons! Definitely not recommended. Also paid €25 only for the table “couvert”. For this price you definitely will have the chance to go out for dinner in a nice good quality Italian restaurant with acceptable portions for 2 times enjoying the main course as well including nice wine and desert. Not recommended and do not let them tease you to choose for the location. Villa Garzoni is a joke, a bad joke that will empty your pocket for nothing!

Very slow service. The waiter forgot our order. We had to repeatedly prompt the waiter to bring small sharing plates. The only thing going for it is the ambience. Wish you better luck than us!

Excellent food, prepared with a lot of love and respect for the great products that Italy offers. We had gnocchi, octopus and cockerel...each of yhe dishes was full of taste and had its own identity. I definitely recommend this restaurant...and combine it with a visit to medieval Collodi!!!

Delicious food and great service. Family friendly - there are baby seats available and a changing table in the toilet. The restaurant is overlooking the Giardino Garzoni.

The dining experience at Ristorante Osteria del Gambero Rosso was pleasant, with satisfactory food and service. The atmosphere could be described as old-fashioned. While the overall experience was decent, it didn't stand out as exceptional in any way.

after visiting Pinocchio park me and my colleague found ourselves conveniently at the adjoining restaurant which was also Pinocchio themed. here we consumed a fairly priced meat and cheese platter and spent our meal in silent contemplation of the misdeeds and moral failings of the wretched and wayward sentient puppet. death was too good for him.

(Translated by Google) Great experience (as always) at the tavern. Excellent starters and first courses but the highlight is, as always, the steak! Excellent price/quality! And thank you very much to the waiters who were really kind and helpful especially with the children who had a lot of fun! We will be back! (Original) Grande esperienza ( come sempre del resto) all osteria. (Translated by Google) Great experience, I ate the cheese board and the pici with local cheeses. They were the only vegetarian dishes, I recommend adding two more vegetarian or vegan choices. Very friendly staff. Personale molto cordiale.
