Just 30 minutes drive from Ranong to Phanga . I reached there 07:45 but they’re open 08:30 so I waited there 45 minutes. You travel to Ranong I recommend this place.

The nature is great, but the accessible part of the park is not worth the entry fee (100 TBH for foreigners + 20 TBH for the scooter). The only thing in the park (which appears to cover a huge area on the map) is 500m of concrete path leading up to the waterfall. That's it. The whole visit takes 10 minutes. You can actually see the waterfall better from the highway. It's virtually dried up during the dry season. There is supposed to be another trail to the waterfall through the forest (as per the map at the main office), but that's marked with "no entry/danger" signs. It's readily apparent that the signs are there cause the trail isn't maintained. The staff are friendly, but they don't speak or understand any English. I had a (Thai government-sponsored) free-entry pass, but they didn't understand what it was and made me pay anyway. The one positive is that the ticket is valid for the Ponrang Hot Springs next door (you'll still have to pay another 20 TBH for actually using the hot springs).

A huge waterfall, the place is nice and clean, there are parking and public services, the walkway to the waterfall is easy Fees : 100 B for foreigners, Free for Thais 30 B Car Fee I recommend a visit 👍

Definitely Rama 5th vibes! Simple but elegant. There is a room that isolated from the main house but connect with 30m. bridge and 10m. above ground. Anyway staffs are not attentive and they do close at lunch. Dont forget to visit marble Bhuddha near by.

A beautiful waterfall to visit in Ranong. 20 minutes by car from the city center you will see it directly from the road. It is high so you can snap some shots without entering the national park where you have to pay a fee 100 baht + 20 baht for a car parking. If you still wanna explore inside COVID rules are applied strictly here: they measure your temperature and ask to scan a code for way in and out too. Wear your mask. Inside there are social distancing reminders. No swimming due to Covid. However it’s a great place to visit without tourists. You can fully enjoy the peacefulness of the place. There are 2 tracks: natural for hikers and a concrete paved road for the rest. This is the second time I have seen so many beautiful big butterflies. The first one was in Khaen Krachan National Park. The weather in rainy season changes drastically so be prepared for short rainfalls.

Amazing waterfall it's so high and you can see it come right from the top of the mountain. Lovely short walk from the car park we never made the view point due to heavy rain worth a visit.

Small and clean place to be. Gather around and see the fascinating falls which can be seen miles away. 20THB per person. Nice view. Built in dam for those who like to get wet. Climb up for another 350 mtr to see the falls view. Below it got small built dam where fishes diminates it. If you love to climb more to view point, please have your shoes on ya because it will be slippery. So, chill and enjoy!!!

Really beautiful waterfall. Unlike many waterfalls in Thailand this one is super accessible. Just turn of road 4 and you are literally there. 100 baht entrance fee. A side the waterfall there is a small cafe and a restroom. We took a short swim in the pool underneath the waterfall.

Nice waterfall on the Highway. Must be great in rains. But even if the stream is thin it looks great with the intertwined trees and landscapes. Toilets are good here. And a descent coffee shop to a serve you hot and cold 🙂👍

A large, steep, cliff face waterfall with a few small to medium sized pools you can swim in. There are massive trees all around.

Absolutely beautiful. Parking is a bit difficult but worth the effort. There is a 20b entrance fee, the place closes at 4.30pm. Nice cafe there to take a break, highly recommend 👍🏽😊

A very very close walk from the packing lot, water is so clear and cold and refreshing you can swim here or just sit around on the rock. It have both shallow and deep spot. A nice place to both stop and take a picture and go or spend hours in the water.

Just a lake, not a canyon…… free to enter but mostly nothing to see

A magnificent place to discover alone or with family. Thousands of fish, tilapia's and laws in the canyon pond. Nice and inexpensive little restaurants nearby. On the same road are the hot water springs where you absolutely have to go for a swim for a ridiculous price. And more water the dam, vast water reservoir with its serene and magnificent landscape. On the same road, the delicious Bellinees patisserie where you can find excellent French butter croissants and excellent coffee. Ranong is a place to absolutely discover.

Peaceful lake with loads of fish, many areas to sit and enjoy the nature.

Very quiet at time of visit. People came and went, mostly to feed the fish and take photos. We had a relaxing afternoon napping on a mat that was offered from a very kind gentleman. The mat was from one of the gazebos which we returned after use. Great place for kids and there are some paddling ducks in the lake. The place is well maintained and people generally keep the place clean. The toilets are also clean and well maintained. There are about a couple of stalls open selling simple foods

Nice place for picnic and enjoy time with family. This place is surrounded by nature which used to be a mine. After the mine was closed they turn this place into a tourist spot. There are a lot of fish here from tiny to big fish. There are small shops across the street selling fish food so you can pet them. On the left side there is a hiking way to get to the top of mountain.

Nice relaxing place & the lake has fun equipment like paddle boats & is filled with koi and other kinds of fish... You can buy fish & people food across the street for 50 baht! & enjoy watching the fish fly over the other fish to eat it. There's a great cheap Thai food place directly to the left of the fish food & they will bring it all out to you at the picnic tables.

With a whopping 100 kilometers of Andaman Sea coastline, it's no wonder this place boasts Thailand's longest protected shore. The Marine National Park even snagged its name from the majestic pines that line the cape's shoreline. There, we discovered a path that led us to the mouth of Ao Tha Yang the Kaper Estuary, It was truly magical. It felt like we were immersing ourselves in those landscapes with all our soul. I'm literally soaring above these magical landscapes, utterly captivated by their beauty.

Its a national park therefore its not so convenient regarding shops, restaurant and whatnot. It is peaceful and quiet. No big commercial boat and ferry. No tourist flocking everywhere. No rows of souvenier shops. You have the boat to yourself and your company. You come and go as you please no exact schedule to follow. Andaman sea is beautiful as usual.

Peaceful, wide and long beach. Fine clean sand. Lot of pine trees which give its name as "Son", pine in Thai. This is a national park so staying overnight is not permitted. Entry fee is applied.

LaemSon National Park but it's the beach has many pine trees. Its 40 km down south from Ranong. Nice clean beach and mostly Thai tourists to picnic there. Water in toilet is not clean.

Nice and clean facility. They even checked our blood pressure before letting us in. There are several pools in different temperatures, and some are for men, some are for women, and some are co-ed. The stream and park next to it is nice, too.

Highlight of visit to Ranong. Pleasantly surprised at how well this park was maintained and designed for visitors to enjoy. The mineral hot spring waters are piped into a few shallow pools which people can soak their legs or as some climb into and stretch out. The water is very hot, about 65 C which takes a bit getting into. The surrounding park is beautiful with services for visitors -- food, shower, cafe, toilets. Additionally, a massage are provides a nice treat if interested at B200 for one hour which is very reasonable. After soaking your feet visitors can enjoy the surrounding park or continue up the road to view more of the lush rainforest, lakes, and canyons. Great for photos. Getting to Raksa is quick and easy from anywhere in the city of Ranong. Literally 10 minutes off the main highway. Added bonus... free entry.

Great family area. In addition to all of the small public hot spring pools There are numerous areas to sit and have a picnic from food purchased at local vendors, a small playground for children. And a wonderful walking area. Across the river is a fantastic natural park with numerous nature walk trails highlighting all the various flora and fauna.

This hot spring is free, the main spring is 65deg very hot indeed but it flows into a pool further down and there the temp is just bearable and quite pleasant after you get used to it. A lot if locals seem to use this spring. Worth a quick stop off but no need to spend too long here.

Was actually shocking to see a public space right in the city in Thailand so well done. Definitely a highlight. Public bath well kept and well designed in the middle of all green and lush. Very local too.

Relaxing enclosed area to enjoy the strengthening benefits of the hot spring. Cost: 40 baht. You will get a towel as well as free water and access to locker, changing room and shower. This area includes 4 pools, the 2 big ones is around 40-45 degrees. The two small ones is lot cooler. The one that's supposed to be 45 degrees is really challenging.... Rather feels like 50. Relax and have fun!

Free to visit and soak you feet of bath in the river with the locals in the river. Just on the town boundary with Ranong. There are food accomodation and spa options. Worth continuing up the hill from the hot springs to the Ranong Canyon

Top notch quality restaurant. Had only a small but deliciously fragrant meal. Be prepared to pay alittle more than the average restaurant in town, and you will enjoy it thoroughly. There was a small live guitar band playing romantic Thai music also when I was here in the evening.

An okay restaurant in good premises with a great interior. A full menu was available, with both Thai and Western food, in addition to a good selection of drinks. Ordering went smoothly, and food and drinks were served by polite staff, who were present when needed. There was live music the night I visited, a troubadour playing at an acceptable volume.

We decided to give Farm House a try despite some mixed reviews. We really liked the atmosphere. Service was very attentive. The pizza was delicious. The chicken dish (from the healthy choices menu page) was quite bland and the broccoli and cauliflower seemed like it came from a frozen bag. There was a musician that was quite good.

Came here for breakfast and enjoyed some nice selections of southern favourites buffet spread. The breakfast mainly showcase the hotel's specialised menus using eggs. Good selections of drinks, herbal drinks, coffee and tea. The sweets area is quite extensive and offers a lot more than I expected. The experience was great and the food items are plentiful and in quite many varieties.

I recently visited the charming Farmhouse in Ranong, Thailand, and had a truly memorable experience. The atmosphere was exactly what I was hoping for-peaceful, cozy, and beautifully in tune with nature. 5th July 2024 Friday 9.10pm Dropped in to Farmhouse to have dessert. Love the atmosphere with the relaxed, easy-going singer singing soulful Thai songs while we had 3 desserts between the 2 of us. Ordered the ubiquitous Mango Sticky Rice (yummy), the bread soaked in Pink Shaved ice the texture of soft serve & topped with crispy fried dough sticks (yummy) and tried their home made cashew nut ice cream (awful). The flavour was NOT a winner with me as it tasted like what the smell of cockroaches would taste like. Full marks for the decoration though - it was so pretty that I was tempted to taste it. I think I only like roasted cashews. Not cashew ice cream. Other than that flavour fiasco, I enjoyed everything else in Farmhouse. The wait staff were professional and unobtrusive, yet were attentive to their customers. The live entertainment was pretty soothing, the singer soulfully crooning out mellow Thai songs.

Impressed with the food and everything. I had heard about this place for a long time but never had the chance to try it. They have a branch in Bangkok too, but it is not in the city center. Their famous dishes are Southern Thai mixed with Chinese style, as Ranong has a long history with Chinese descendants, so the food here could be called Thai Chinese. Some of the dishes I tried here I had only heard of or tried for the first time, which was fun and interesting. More importantly, the food is really really good and comforting. I would love to come back and try more dishes again!

What a warm and cozy restaurant! The owner was very nice and friendly. The staffs were attentive and polite. The owner explained the story of every dishes they made for us. The quality of food ingredients were superb. All the recommended dishes were delicious! The homemade coconut ice-cream is a must! Our family had a Great time here!

This restaurant is "must" try. I strongly recommend. The price is very fair. The taste is very unique, good and signature. The vibes is charm, chill and homemy. Recommended.

Owner doesnt care about customers. We waited a long time for him to take our food order while he talk to his friend. Halfway taking our order, he went to talk to another friend while we wait again. We just ordered some simple food but it took 40mins for the food to be served.

Excellent small eatery with a large menu, a lot of seafood (incl. river prawns) and local specialities. Had Chinese spring rolls and a Chinese salad, came with hot sauce and dressing in separate bowls, beer available. Very fair pricing, highly recommendable Came here again last time with two hungy ladies to try a wider variety of dishes: it turned out to be a feast

very local looking place, food was alright though i like some of them but the dessert and the myanmar milk tea was so so good i love their homemade coconut icecream so much!! affogato thai tea is a MUST try!

CHARGED FOR LEMON SLICE IN BEER Be careful. While people walk in with their own bottle of wine and whisky, be careful not to be charged for your slice of lemon in your San Miguel light. They provided a full plate of lemon when asked for a San Miguel light with lime. A nasty and surprising move I have not seen before in Thailand. After protesting they returned the money

They have an exciting selection of non-alcoholic drinks, but like more reviews say the service is not good. The waitress that helped us seemed more like she was bothered by our presence.

Stopped by here for lunch and enjoyed a thorough adventure. The designs - and the length this place takes with the design alone - deserves 5 stars. Everything about this place screams passion with organic design concept. This organic concept extends to their menus, accommodations and boutiques with handmade merchandises. Such an impressive display of love for natural designs and concept of organic experience. The lunch was also wonderful - delicious foods, drinks and coffees. Their cakes look absolutely sumptuous but shame myself and companions were too filled up to take in the sweets. Personal highlight: the fishpond that features a waterfall - such a serene vibe.

Looks like it was a famous spots made for tourists but I cannot deny that it is well decorated and very beautiful. I love how they have different corners to choose from and they even have places for souvenirs. The coffee is not bad, the bakery looks great, and the setting with a second floor and a corner where you can relax by the pool is super nice.

It was an amazingly unique experience staying at this farm stay. The whole place was beautifully crafted with details. The room was comfortable, the food was good, the overall tropical rainforest ambience was perfect for healing & rejuvenation. Perfect for nature lovers. The location was a bit far off but it was worth the long drive taken. Recommended!

We had lunch here on 12/11/2025 while driving to Ranong. My second time here to have lunch. The dining area has just refurbished. All the food garnished with edible flowers. Many desserts to choose from .

The staff are unobtrusive yet very attentive and delight guests with their service and smiles. We arrived on the spur of the moment and were given a romantic cottage. The souvenir shop is also worth mentioning. There you can discover handmade souvenirs like nowhere else. What a romantic stay.

Never failed to make us feel a different dimension to heaven’s door, the place is absolutely magnificent and beautiful especially for those who want peace and mind relaxation, it is far from the city but this makes it perfect because it is so quite and the smell of the nature guides you to a new relationship between human and nature, this is my second time at Baan Rai I Arun and definitely won’t be my last time, we came as a couple from Dubai “ busy city “, to embrace quietness and get close to nature to heal our soul. More important is that the owner upgraded our room in this event of time and in 2018, he is so sweet, gentle and very humble person. Lovely food - all flavourful and freshly prepared, although a little too salty in one of the dishes. My personal highlight is the steamed shrimp in sesame sauce and garlic. Their menus combine Thai and Chinese flavours together.

Thai-Southern food restaurant which is really locally. Their food taste good but they take so long for preparation so if you are really hungry you better call and order food before you come here or you can come here early around 5-6pm. so you can get your food faster cause around 6-7pm this restaurant will be packed with many thais and you're gonna have to wait more than 30 mins. But if you are not that hungry it's worth waiting😋😋

Very tasty home cooked Thai food. Ingredients were fresh and superbly cooked. Had the pad Liang vegetable, probably sixth time in last three days and this was the best. The steamed prawns with egg white was very nicely cooked n presented too. Price was very reasonable. Must try this restaurant

Food were great but very slow. It took an hour until our first order came out. If you want to try eating at this restaurant, I recommened, make a reservation and order in advance. Food were great through.
