Krabi Town Night Market

Mentioned on
6 lists
Flea market
Shopping
Krabi Town Night Market is a lively weekend market offering a variety of food, clothing, and souvenirs. Visitors can enjoy live music and find seating to relax while exploring the stalls. While Krabi Town may not be as popular as neighboring Ao Nang or Railay, it boasts several attractions such as Tiger Cave Temple, Mu Koh Hong, Railay Beaches & Caves, and more. This small provincial capital has plenty to offer for a one or two-day itinerary.
This market is open only on the weekend evenings including Friday. Various stalls sell souvenirs, clothes and food. Decent quality and prices but vendors do not bargain much here. Varieties of local food are available in the stalls. As such the market is not big, you can cover in about an hour.
Chhanda B — Google review
Better come around 6pm, the stalls would be ready. Lots of food options. Good vibe while enjoying the meal. 🎬2025.8.17
TheWildTian大田真野 — Google review
Quaint little market. Very quiet. The downside, tables are for beer drinking only. Nowhere to sit with food only. Probably the only time I didn't have a beer. 🤷
Brent A — Google review
I really enjoyed visiting Aonang Night Market! There were lots of food stalls with delicious local dishes and snacks. The atmosphere was lively with music and friendly vendors. Great place to experience local culture and try Thai street food. Highly recommended for an evening walk!
Shahera G — Google review
This is a huge shopping arcade in Krabi close to the famous beach. This market completely functional in the evening and looks great in night. Has multiple local food, indian restaurants, shopping stores, street shops, desert outlets, massage center and much more. Night life is great here and one can spent 4-5 hours easily and can still visit it the next day. A lot of live shows, fire shows, concerts happen every day. There are clubs in this market where you can enjoy a few drinks with delicious food options.
Siddharth G — Google review
It's a big market. There are many shops where you can buy dresses, handmade ornaments, and local foods. There is also amusement activity like rides or shooting. Open music performance is very alive there that was available at night. The price of goods seemed almost the same compared to the other places.
Md. W — Google review
Krabi Town Night Market is a vibrant and lively spot that’s perfect for experiencing local culture. It offers a great variety of delicious street food, unique handmade crafts, clothes, and souvenirs and all at reasonable prices. The atmosphere is energetic with live music, performances, and friendly vendors. It’s a great place to try local Thai dishes and explore different flavors. Perfect for an evening stroll, people-watching, and soaking in the local vibe. Definitely worth a visit while in Krabi!

Wat Kaew Korawaram

Mentioned on
5 lists
Buddhist temple
Perched on a hill with panoramic views of Krabi Town, Wat Kaew Korawararam is an exquisite Thai Buddhist temple adorned with intricate decorations and a collection of Buddha images. While the temple's grandeur may seem imposing from afar, its beauty becomes more apparent up close. Visitors are provided with sarongs for modesty and respect upon entry. The serene atmosphere makes it an ideal spot for contemplation and photography, especially in the morning light.
Wat Kaew Korawararam is an absolute gem in the heart of Krabi. The pristine white temple is truly magnificent, with its elegant architecture standing out beautifully against the blue sky. The intricate details and peaceful ambiance make it a perfect spot for both sightseeing and quiet reflection. Inside, the stunning Buddha statue exudes serenity and grandeur, leaving visitors in awe. The temple grounds are well-maintained, adding to the overall sense of calmness. Whether you're a cultural enthusiast or just looking for a peaceful place to visit, Wat Kaew Korawararam is definitely worth adding to your Krabi itinerary. A truly memorable and spiritual experience!
Joon T — Google review
Wat Kaew Korwararam, Krabi's magnificent White Temple, highlights the region's rich Buddhist tradition. This spectacular monument, one of the largest and most beautiful Buddhist temples in Krabi province, Thailand, is well-known for its excellent architecture and breathtaking figures. The temple, perched on a hill overlooking Krabi city, is entered via a magnificent stairway filled with exquisite naga sculptures, mythological serpent-like animals in Hindu and Buddhist mythology. This lofty elevation provides tourists with stunning panoramic views of the city and its surrounds. The temple's building is a beautiful combination of traditional Thai and Chinese forms. Its spotless white façade represents purity and enlightenment, while the inside is lavishly decorated with gold accents and finely carved Buddha sculptures. The lush gardens around the temple, overflowing with vivid flowers and plants, provide a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere. Wat Kaew Korwararam has a long history, beginning in 1887. Originally called as Ban Pak Nam, this location saw the rise of a strong Buddhist population, and the temple quickly became a center of spiritual devotion. Today, it is easily accessible via Maharaj Road, which is conveniently positioned beside Soi 6. Natural light floods into the temple's ordination hall through large windows, providing a beautiful environment. The dramatic red roof contrasts the brilliant blue walls, which are covered with magnificent paintings representing Buddha's life and key events in Buddhist history. In this hallowed place, a stunning golden Buddha statue stands out, surrounded by treasured artifacts. The original ordination hall is adjacent to the main temple and currently houses the Krabi Contemporary Art Museum, which showcases the region's expanding cultural legacy. The temple terrace provides more than just a spectacular view; it also has a souvenir shop and food and beverage kiosks. Wat Kaew Korwararam, located just 600 meters from Krabi's lively night market, is only a 10-minute walk away. Those arriving from the Krabi Bus Terminal, which is around 6 kilometers away, have several transportation choices available, including local buses, motorbike taxis, tuk-tuks, and normal taxis.

Wat Kaew Korawaram is a beautiful, tranquil temple located in the heart of Krabi Town. The white architecture with delicate gold embellishments looks incredibly elegant and harmonious – especially at sunset. The place exudes tranquility and spirituality, perfect for a moment of reflection and respite from the hustle and bustle of the city. The surrounding grounds are clean and well-maintained, and the wide steps leading to the temple add to its majestic character. This is a true gem of Krabi, less crowded than other attractions but just as enchanting. It's worth a visit to experience the peace and beauty of Thai culture. 🕊️🙏✨
Łukasz M — Google review
Visiting Wat Kaew Korawaram in Krabi on a day with clear blue skies was a serene experience. The temple, prominently located in the town, showcased a grand white façade and detailed architecture. Despite ongoing painting and renovations, including sections obscured by scaffolding, the temple's elegance was palpable. The expansive open grounds around the temple enhanced the peaceful atmosphere, with a large gong positioned prominently at the front adding to the temple's traditional elements. Interestingly, while the temple complex was accessible, I did not manage to enter the temple itself during my visit due to the renovation work. The temple is known for its high ceilings and intricate decorations that confer a majestic yet inviting ambiance. The surroundings remained tranquil, offering a reflective space where one could appreciate the blend of cultural and architectural beauty. The serene grounds and the striking structure, even viewed from a distance, left a lasting impression of calm and reverence.

Built in the late 1800s, the temple has evolved into a royal-grade monastery.Locals often come here to pray or attend Buddhist events — it’s a center of spiritual life in Krabi.🎬2025.6.15

We decided to have a look, as it was within walking distance from the mall. The temple has a nice architectural style. We had to walk up 60 flights of stairs. This visit wouldn't take too long—just a look-see, at most 10 minutes.
Lisa O — Google review
Gorgeous. Located on top of a hill in the center of Krabi town, this Buddhist temple is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. Extremely suggestive atmosphere, beautiful temple, free entry, not very crowded.
Stefano V — Google review
This temple has an imposing look when viewed from the bottom of it's steps. However when you get closer it isn't as spectacular looking. Nice that sarongs were left outside in case visitors were not appropriately dressed. Maybe could use some signs to explain to tourists what the expected etiquette about dress and behaviour is. Observed a tourist dressed in shorts and shoes casually walk into the temple even after I tried to advise him it wasn't appropriate.

Very friendly and helpful host. Rooms felt a bit uninspired and empty, but only because they were so spatious. 100% would recommend. Great price/quality

I stayed one night before going to Phi Phi, and it was more than enough. It was not a room, a proper one bedroom unit. Has everything you need, including fridge, microwave, kettle. Kune is amazing. She was so helpful and friendly since the beginning. If you need a taxi from/to the airport or some guidance on the ground, she is your person! Thank you, Kune. Kiss the girls for me 💝🤗

Walking distances to local markets and a good selection of restaurants! Shame you can't score higher than 5 stars...Best place we have stayed!!

Host was very friendly and helpful. She allowed us to store our bags after check out so we could wander around town a bit more before catching our flight. Conveniently located near everything in Krabi town. Room was nice and large. A few mosquitos in the room the first night but then better the next two.

Railay Beach

Railay Beach, accessible only by boat, is a stunning peninsula known for its towering limestone cliffs and picturesque beaches. It's a popular destination for rock climbing and diving enthusiasts. The area offers a range of activities such as island hopping on longtail boats to nearby famous islands like James Bond Island and Maya Bay. Visitors can also explore the Krabi Fossilized Shellfish Cemetery, one of only three in the world, to see millions of years old fossils.
The beach is really relaxing with magnificent views. Has lots of stuff to do, do not stay there for 1 day, stay for more. There is so much to do and see. The first priority place that I'll recommend to you if you will go to Krabi. You can only get there by boat. Its a piece of land surrounded by mountains and cliffs. You will need to pay if hotel doesn't provide a free boat to your destination.
Sava — Google review
For me, it's still beautiful, but it's not like when I was a kid. I understand that it's a major tourist attraction, so there are usually a lot of tourists, but it's too much for me. Even when I'm diving underwater, I can hear the boats running. It's too noisy for me.
Betty C — Google review
Such a magnificent beach with serene vibe is Railay Beach. If you get time, stay more days and explore surroundings. You can get there by boat only. This land is surrounded by mountains and cliffs. Highly recommended to visit this place and don't miss fireshow at night time.
K T — Google review
We booked a ferry from Krabi to Railey Beach. There is a little booth near the docks that sell the tickets and tell you the hours that the ferries run. Once a wooden dragon boat is full it heads out. The boat ride was awesome. Open air and smooth. It was one of my favorite parts island hopping during our trip. When we arrived we wondered until we found a hotel that served breakfast. There was a reasonably priced buffet and we ate there. We spent a few hours at the beach, swimming and enjoying the sun. We saw the rain coming and decided to head to bar and grab a drink. Overall it was a great day, and I highly recommend.
END A — Google review
Just beautiful. We bought visited in August, low season. So many lovely bars, cafes and things to do. Beautiful beaches with lots of traditional long tail boats.
Helen V — Google review
Really gorgeous beaches, yummy food, wildlife, and almost everything you need. Cool hippie vibes by the west side. I enjoyed the place and was only there for a few hours. Would love to come back and stay on this side of Krabi for a few days.
Fernanda F — Google review
Overall okay but the boat staff didn’t allow us to wear slippers, so walking barefoot through the cave was quite uncomfortable 😅. Since it’s the holiday season, the place was also pretty crowded with tourists from all over the world. But the view? Absolutely stunning! The water was crystal blue and the sand was pure white!

Beautiful clean beach with mild sand... During some parts of the day it's packed with tourists but the sunsets are amazing..

Wat Tham Suea Krabi is a vast temple complex nestled in the lush jungle, renowned for its impressive gold Buddha statue and extensive cave network. Situated 9km northwest of Krabi Town, this sprawling hill and cave temple complex makes for an excellent day trip. The entrance leads to a challenging 1260-step staircase that ascends to a 600m karst peak.
Tiger Cave Temple – A Spiritual and Scenic Gem in Krabi 🌄🙏 Tiger Cave Temple is one of the best places to visit in Krabi. It’s not just a temple but a place full of spiritual meaning and history. The temple itself is at the base, and up the hill is the famous cave with a magnificent Buddha statue. The climb is 1300 steps, which can be challenging at first, but taking it slowly makes it manageable. Once at the top, the effort is completely worth it — the view of Krabi from the summit is absolutely breathtaking. 💡 Tip: Beware of monkeys along the path — they are mischievous! Avoid carrying large bags or loose food. This place offers a perfect mix of spiritual reflection, history, and incredible natural scenery. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Krabi who enjoys adventure, culture, and meditation. 🐅✨
Kanchan V — Google review
Stunning views! Met a pack of monkeys on the way down 😍 The stairs were in a good shape wich was nice. The climb is quite steap in some parts but doable for different fitness levels if not any bigger limitations in mobility. There was no place to get water so you should bring some. We had 1 litre each and could have had more!!
Tuuli A — Google review
Wat Tham Suea is one of the most extraordinary places in Krabi – brimming with spiritual energy, tranquility, and impressive views. Climbing over 1,200 steps is a real challenge, but the reward is a spectacular panorama of mountains, jungle, and the Andaman Sea. The temple at the top is truly impressive, and the golden Buddha statue exudes peace and strength. Along the way, you can encounter monkeys and admire the beautiful wildlife. This place combines spirituality, nature, and a touch of adventure – a must-see for anyone visiting Krabi! 🐅🙏🌄
Łukasz M — Google review
Keep in mind that the sun goes down by 6:15pm. We got to the bottom at 6:30pm and they had locked it. Even though there were still people up top. It’s not impossible to jump over the side fence, but if you are going to take awhile to get down because of your fitness level, consider that you will have to jump the fence a bit if you’re locked in. Worth the steps. My husband and I did it in 16-17 mins. We are both fit and were still breathing hard. It’s only hard because the steps are steep and some are taller than others. We went on a rainy day too so the heat didn’t ruin it. Beautiful view, very peaceful. Went on a Wednesday in October We saw a lot of water bottles left around at the top and we dumped them and recycled them. There is a bucket for them. Please don’t be those people that bring garbage and leave garbage up there. There were no staff when we were up top.
Fernanda F — Google review
It is tough both physical and mental. It is steep to climb the stairs but its well worth the effort. Amazing views Very calm and peaceful place. Watching over clouds was a great experience. Definitely a must try if you are up for the challenge
Coskan G — Google review
It’s an amazing place located at the top of a mountain. You need to climb over 1,260 steps to reach it . quite tough, but definitely worth it for the experience. You’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the Krabi mountains. It’s highly recommended for those who love peace, nature, and spiritual vibes. The temple provides free drinking water. So, carry a bottle with you . you can refill it before and after the climb. It’s a must-visit spot, not far from the Krabi bus terminal.
S S — Google review
Amazing hike, but highly recommend going as early as possible. We got there at 7am before it got too hot out and I'm so glad we did - 1200+ steps is no joke!! Went into the temple after we came back down and the artwork and care that has gone into it brought me to tears. Please go here and enjoy!!
Ashley R — Google review
It took 22 minutes for me to reach the top. It is not easy at all, be prepared to get sweaty. Wear proper hiking shoes and get enough water, I would say at least 1l per person. I started to climb up at 17:00 and got rewarded with magnificent sunset!

If you're seeking a slice of paradise, look no further than the enchanting Hong Islands, or Mu Koh Hong, located just off Krabi's coast. This stunning archipelago features a collection of pristine islands, some so small they lack beaches while others boast breathtaking stretches of white sand like Koh Lo and Koh Saga. A visit here is incomplete without embarking on a guided kayaking adventure through these serene waters.
500 steps UP and 500 steps DOWN - legs shaking at the end, sweaty all over - was it worth it? Absolutely. Every bit of the steep step to the top was worth it as soon as I laid my eyes on the view in front of us. It was majestic, it was beautiful, it was all the adjectives you can think of. The climb to the top is challenging, if you are on the heavier side or not much accustomed to physical activities. There is a resting place about halfway where you can take a break and then start off again. As the second part is the more steep and takes a lot of energy. But think it through before you start the climb, we have seen a lot of people who climbed mid way but got too tired to neither continue to the top or return back. But the view from the top is magical. Perfect for nature and adventure lovers.
Shamik L — Google review
The 360° Viewpoint at Koh Hong offers impressive panoramic views once you reach the top — the surrounding islands, turquoise waters, and dramatic cliffs are a photographer’s dream. That said, the climb is quite steep and involves a lot of stairs — definitely not for everyone, especially in the heat. There’s no shade along the way, and the steps can be slippery if it’s rained, so proper footwear is a must. While the view is rewarding, the effort required might not feel entirely worth it for some, especially when the island below already offers plenty of scenic spots. A decent experience overall, but manage your expectations and come prepared.
Javed_mate — Google review
A short 15-minute climb takes you to the top, where you’ll be rewarded with a beautiful 360-degree panoramic view — absolutely worth the effort. It’s also home to the only clean beach in the area that’s truly suitable for swimming and playing. A perfect spot for both a light adventure and a relaxing beach day!
Lemonhao88 — Google review
It's a hard, sweaty climb. You need good functional knees and a lot of sunscreen. Drink water and take it slow. At least the stairs are modern and equal. The view is fantastic! It takes about 20-25 minutes at a moderate pace to reach the top. After you go down, i recommend the nearby beach
Nitay D — Google review
Absolute beautiful spot. A great reward after climbing almost 500 step ladder. Take a deep breath and enjoy a beautiful panoramic

The highlight of my trip! I have no regrets choosing to visit hong island over maya bay it was absolutely worth it! Our guides, qiw and Tltong, were super friendly and organised everything perfectly. We went kayaking, explored a hidden beach on the other side, and even went into a cave they called the “shelter cave.” there's a lot of jellyfish so watch out ! Such an unforgettable experience!

Klong Muang Beach, situated north of Ao Nang Beach in Krabi, is a serene coastal retreat perfect for those seeking tranquility. It offers easy access to the stunning Koh Hong island. The wide sandy expanse provides ample space for leisure activities such as sunbathing, swimming, and snorkeling. Visitors can also enjoy the shade of palm trees or indulge in a picturesque beachfront picnic.
Nice beach for sunset shutterbugs and water was also enjoyed by a large number of tourists. Beach on one side that is used for the locals for fishing and some leisure boats lend for foreground interest. Beach around the corner with solitary tree on the waterline also makes for a great photo although one needs to have patience to capture the right moment with far less people.

Lagoon

Bodies of Water
Lagoon: an enticing water body found near a mountainous area, with the potential to provide refreshing refreshment in hot weather. The tourist attraction features a steep walking track that leads up to a view point, which is perfect for admiring the beautiful lagoon below. The track can be difficult for physical unprepared tourists, but the view and atmosphere of the lagoon are unforgettable.
The journey is quite challenging and can be a bit dangerous, so it’s best not to go alone — having a friend with you is highly recommended. The scenery along the way is stunning, especially the stretch just before reaching the lagoon. I couldn’t help but scream with excitement several times because it was truly breathtaking. It’s even more beautiful at high tide. The trip takes quite a while, so I recommend arriving before sunset; after dark, it can be dangerous and visibility is poor. There’s also a cave in the area with an amazing atmosphere. However, be aware that there’s no reception, we got bad all reception
Track B — Google review
Definitely not for the faint hearted as has been said by many others, you must have enough confidence to go up and down unprotected straight up climbing walls. Wear shoes and be careful and it's definitely doable if you are fit. 1000x worth it though, so beautiful and hidden. Just know that no one will come and save you if you get hurt😹
Mattéo P — Google review
Very steep and slippery ascent and descent — it involves some basic climbing skills and the use of ropes. That said, the reward at the end is absolutely worth it: a refreshing, beautiful blue lagoon! Important tips: Don’t attempt it in flip-flops, during or after rain, or if you're afraid of heights. Use caution: follow the 'three points of contact' rule (e.g., always keep one hand on the rope or rock). If you're reasonably fit and follow the safety tips, you should be fine. A guide isn’t necessary, but if you’re unsure of your climbing ability, it might be a good idea.
Ewa J — Google review
it's a real good hike. steep. wear proper shoes. not for people scared of heights or cannot rock climb. it's steep, it's physical, but my kids (>10y) made it down and back up, if they know climbing.
Florian G — Google review
I went into Lagoon the day after heavy rain. I highly recommend not to do it if you are not skilled with a little bit of climbing. It is slippery, don’t go without snickers, flipflops might be ok to the view point, but not Lagoon. If you have ever climbed, also sport climbing at least 4-5+ there will be no problem. There are three steep sectors 6 m long also equipped with the rope, which in my case was rather tricky because the ropes were muddied and slippery, so use normal climbing logic. You have plenty of big holds, also for the foot, so in combination really no problem. If you aren’t skilled with climbing just stick to the rope and use legs to walk down slowly over the rocks…don’t do it after the rain… On the other hand the piece of adrenaline was the thing that was worth doing it for, because the Lagoon itself didn’t offer that much, also I couldn’t swim because the water is too low and it was also pretty muddy…the viewpoint is nice and there I thing no climbing or hiking experience is needed, just be careful and enyoj
Mihael V — Google review
This would qualify more as climbing than hiking at some parts! Especially for the average person that doesn’t do sports. I would recommend to wear sports shoes and adequate clothing. Refrain from going if it is raining, if you are alone or if you have kids with you. Some parts can be slippery and quite steep so beware of that. Down at the lagoon there is no phone reception. Although it can be tricky at times, the view was worth it. Since not many people manage to get there, you can enjoy the peacefulness of the setting. Apart from us, there were only two other people at the lagoon so we really enjoyed it.
Sophie — Google review
The lagoon feels so peaceful and it’s isolated from the rest of the world. The way down to the lagoon can get pretty dangerous, but if you’re careful and confident it’s not too bad. I wouldn’t recommend the hike when it’s very slippery, because there aren’t any security measures.
Érik G — Google review
TOUGH climb to get down to this for someone who is pretty active but without a great deal of climbing experience but the view down the bottom was stunning. Would have been even better if the tide was in I imagine but I enjoyed the challenge of getting there and the tranquil and beautiful view once I reached it! I went to visit the view point first and was lucky enough to see some unusual monkeys too before going down to the lagoon. Wear good shoes, being water. Don’t bring too many belongings if you can avoid it… it was a little sweaty.

Ao Thalane Kayak Krabi

Outdoor Activities
Canoe & kayak tour agency
Experience the beauty of Ao Thalane Kayak Krabi พายคายัคกระบี่, a picturesque spot nestled amidst stunning Karst formations. This untouched gem is rich in flora and fauna, making it an excellent destination for families. The area has become a hub for sea kayaking, offering guided trips around Tha Lane Bay's coast. While the mainland boasts an active nightlife scene, Ao Nang provides a lively and enjoyable night out.
Fantastic kayaking tour with our guide Fahrus. 1000 baht to be picked up from our resort in Ao Nang at 8:45 am, kayak for 2 hours, then get dropped off around 12:30 pm. Just send a message via Whatsapp to book. This company keeps the tour groups small (6 people) which is so nice because it's peaceful and you take your time to enjoy the scenery and wildlife. There were several other kayaking tour groups out that were very large and seemed like they were rushing through the tour. This would be a good tour even if you are new to kayaking. Fahrus was so kind and a great person to talk to and learn about Thailand, the culture, and the nature. He pointed out many creatures along the way that we otherwise would never have noticed! He planned our route carefully to take advantage of the tide and make sure we got the most out of the experience.

We booked this half-day kayaking tour, and it was our very first time trying kayaking. The journey through the mangrove forest took around two hours, and it was such a fun and unique experience! Kayaking was surprisingly easy, even for beginners like us. You don’t need to worry about your stamina — just take it slow and enjoy the peaceful surroundings step by step. Highly recommended for anyone looking to try something new and relaxing in nature! This tour is less crowded, which makes the whole experience feel more peaceful and enjoyable.

Wonderfully exhaustive & relaxing at the same time. Hightide is preferable which is either very early morning or in the afternoon. We went in the day & got the low tide. Kayaking was good but we could not make the full round about route (which is supposedly more a more beautiful experience). Nevertheless, the staff is extremely friendly and as for the guide we rowed talking and joking in between. They even take some coffee in their guide boat as refreshments. They do offer lower charges without guide, but its very confusing to go without a guide.

Worth it! The two hour kayaking was fairly easy with spectacular views before There was two routes inside the mangrove forest depending on the water level of which our morning trip was a bit to early for the better route with water level still a bit low. A start around noon would have nailed it. The guides were nice and experienced. They even spotted a tree snakes for us which an untrained eye totally missed. Drinking water included and some fruits afterward.
Andy — Google review
Great experience! We were doubting whether it would be worth it since you are not able to rent a kayak by yourself but have to take a guided tour. But it was extremely worth it! We were, as a couple, in 1 kayak together with a wonderful guide, in his own kayak, who explained a bit about what we saw and info about the area he grew up in himself. Kayak tour lasted about 2 hours, so definitely recommend going around 10:00 am (also with high tide). We got water and a waterproof bag to take in the kayak and after kayaking were surprised with fresh watermelon. We paid 1200 baht which is a more than fair price. All in all good experience if you’re in Ao Nang or neighbourhood and would like to have an active experience there!
Joey D — Google review
Awesome kayaking this morning, contacted Arno direct and fitted us in last minute, small group just two others with us so total two kayaks with 2 people each plus guide. Saw monkeys, one swimming in front of us, birds, large water monitor lizard and a few birds. Paddled through the mangroves and narrow canyons amongst the karst cliffs.
Gary F — Google review
Check when is low-tide and high-tide. In lowtide there are parts where you have to wait for the water, otherwise you cannot continue. It was a cool experience. Take care with the monkeys. Do not leave food/drinks outside of your bag.
Peter B — Google review
We went on a sunset tour that started around 4:30PM and finished around 6:30PM. It wasn’t too hot around this time and the view was amazing so I would recommend visiting for the sunset. Our guide was amazing. He helped row 2 kayaks at the same time but he never complained or showed he was tired. He constantly checked in to see if everyone was doing okay. Would visit again if I have the chance!

Kodam Kitchen

Restaurant
Kodam Kitchen is a hidden gem located near Rocco in Ao Nang. Tucked away on a small street, this Thai restaurant comes highly recommended by locals. Despite its unassuming location, the restaurant is always bustling with activity. Visitors are impressed by the delicious and affordable Thai cuisine served at Kodam Kitchen. The restaurant offers an authentic atmosphere that adds to the overall dining experience.
This place was fantastic in every way. We were able to get right in for a party of 6 @7pm. The food was phenomenal as every dish was full of flavor, fresh and our server nail the spicy level as all was just the right amount of spicy. Our seafood tasted fresh and well prepared, we ordered a lot. The atmosphere is family/kid friendly or just a good time with friends.

By far the BEST Thai restaurant in Krabi!! From the amazing food, through the kind & professional service, and the great prices - Kodam has it all! We loved it so much that we came here for dinner twice during our stay in Krabi. On the first evening we ordered their pad pak ruam (stir fried vegetables in oyster sauce), papaya salad, tom kha gai (coconut milk soup with chicken) & panang curry with beef. Everything was so delicious - my favorite was the tom kha gai soup that had deep flavors of lemongrass, galangal & kaffir lime. After this amazing dinner we knew we had to come back for our last dinner in Krabi to enjoy different dishes, an so we did. On our second dinner here we ordered the papaya salad (again), but wanted to try some other dishes so for the rest we went for ones we didn't try the day before. We ordered the green curry, pad pak boong (stir fried Thai spinach in oyster sauce), pad thai with shrimps & pad see ew with chicken. Yet again, none of the dishes disappointed and all of were absolutely excellent! Still, my favorite of them all remained the tom kha gai soup we had on our first dinner, so if you dine here, make sure to not skip this one!! An important thing to note - although it's a very successful restaurant that's always packed, the prices are so fair, which makes an amazing VFM, that only makes this restaurant even more worth eating at. To conclude, if you're in Krabi, this is the single restaurant you just have to visit!

⚠️ NON HALAL I visited Kodam Kitchen in Ao Nang after seeing several recommendations online. The restaurant is about a 10-minute walk from my hotel, Blue Tara, making it quite accessible by foot. The menu offers a good variety of Thai dishes, and the restaurant itself is spacious, though the tables are placed quite close to each other. Communication can be a bit challenging as most of the staff speak limited English, so using Google Translate might be helpful when ordering. We tried the green curry, fried pork omelette, and fried squid rings. The green curry, unfortunately, didn’t meet expectations—it lacked the rich, authentic Thai flavor and was a bit diluted. However, the fried pork omelette and squid rings were tasty and well-prepared. Overall, I would consider Kodam Kitchen an average dining experience. The food is decent but not among the top restaurants I’ve tried in Ao Nang, and the prices are on the higher side for what’s offered. It’s suitable for a one-time visit, but if you’re in Ao Nang for a short trip, there are plenty of other great local restaurants worth exploring near the beach area.

Food Heaven in Krabi💐 This place was recommended to us by one of the friends and it is the best place to be for lunch or dinner. Variety of delicious Thai cuisine with help of the manager Thor you can find the best suitable alternative for yourself, may be not even needed as all of the super delicious and made with love. His passion and love what he does is shown thru the way he speaks to guests. Service is top notch and you must visit this place no matter what👏

Food is amazing, out of this world and genuinely surprised me in the best way possible! Service is top notch as well, our Tom yum soup came too late before we got to cancel, but the waiter insisted we take it and gave to us for free, as a way to apologise. Hospitality is truly remarkable. Atmosphere is nice and breezy.

Best Thai food I’ve had. I got Tom Yum (21) and asked for it spicy. I sent it back to get it more ‘Tha’i spicy and they are legit. Best soup I’ve ever had. I also loved the chicken cashew dish here (38). I also have a severe egg allergy and they were very accommodating and I had no issues. 10/10 would recommend if you’re here in Ao Nang, Krabi

TAJ PALACE RESTAURANT AONANG, KRABI

$$$$affordable
Indian restaurant
Taj Palace Restaurant in Ao Nang, Krabi is renowned for offering an extensive menu of authentic Indian cuisine. The restaurant prides itself on using high-quality ingredients imported from India to prepare a wide range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Guests can savor freshly ground spices in classic Indian curries like chicken butter masala and butter paneer, accompanied by a selection of naans and roti.
We recently dined at Tah Palace and overall had a pleasant experience with a few notes for improvement. lordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, which tasted morelike a Butter Chicken in my opinion- rich, creamy, and mildly spiced. Stllenjoyable, just not quite what1 expected. My partner had the Penne Pasta with Mushroom, which was nicely cooked and had good layour, though we both agreed it could have done with a bit more garlic to really bring it to life. Our friends shared a Hawaiian Pizza with Garlic Bread. They said the pizza was tasty, with a good base and topping balance. However, the garlic bread was a little dry - a suggestion might be to serve it as a full baguette with more butter, but that's just their personal preference. For dessert, we tried a few things. The Chocolate Ice Cream was classic and enjoyable. The Fried Ice Cream was a novelty and had a nice texture, but we found the batter a bit too salty, which slightly overpowered the sweetness. The highlight for me was the Mango Sticky Rice with Warm Coconut Milk- it was extremely nice, comforting and well-balanced. However, the lettuce base it was served on was unexpected and didn't quite fithe dish for me. Service was friendly and the setting was relaxed. We'd consider returning, especially if a few of those minor details were fine-tuned.

Absolutely amazing! The Madras here was truly orgasmic – hands down the best I’ve ever tried. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the whole place just has a great atmosphere. Even before you taste the food, the smell draws you in and makes your mouth water. Every bite was bursting with flavour. Highly recommend this place if you’re in Ao Nang – it’s a must-try!

The food here is not bad. It’s one of these tourist Indian places where they serve everything: from North to South, from East to West and of course Thai food. And oh: Italian food, too. But the vindaloo I ordered was quite good. But what is really good here is the service. The team was super attentive and nice. And quick. Every one of them.

Anna's Restaurant

Restaurant
Anna's Restaurant, located in Koh Phi Phi, is a charming eatery offering a fusion of Indo-European and Thai cuisine. The restaurant is owned by a British-Thai couple, which reflects in the diverse menu. With ample seating inside, patrons can expect their dishes to be tailored to their preferences. Known for its popularity among locals, Anna's Restaurant boasts an extensive selection of dishes suitable for indecisive diners.
Lovely place with good food and great service! 😋 They offer Thai dishes with some Western influences. I had the Saute Morning Glory and beef in garlic oyster sauce with chili – delicious! 🔥 Others ordered shrimp tempura, coconut soup, and chicken Alfredo (a Thai twist!). All very good, but not as spicy as some classic Thai places. And the strawberry banana smoothie - Amazing! 🍓🍌

A very much recommended authentic Thai restaurant, and for a very good reason. The service is absolutely great, very kind and personalized. The food is very fresh and they offer all of the great variety Thai dishes, and every single one of them is perfectly executed. From the salads section we obviously ordered a papaya salad (som tum) that was delicious & spicy just the way we like it. We also ordered a stir fried morning glory that was full of flavor and we loved it. For mains we ordered a pad thai & a garlic stir fried pork - both were delicious and very authentic. To conclude, if you're looking for an authentic place that offers a great variety of the thai kitchen, this is a place not to miss when you're in Koh Phi Phi.

Amazing. Cute place and they add such lovely finishing touches to everything. I highly recommend the tamarid fried shrimp and massaman curry. We paired with with fried egg vegetable rice which was delicious. The mango sticky rice was a nice dessert and came in the shape of a heart. The fresh coconut came with cute flowers and there was even big spray on the table! Theybhave great knowledge of allergies and could offer many gluten free options!! We returned and adobe you do the same!!

The service was extremely poor — staff were unfriendly, unwelcoming, and showed zero effort in communication. There was no greeting, no thank you, no interaction at all. The location doesn’t help either. It’s situated right in front of a dive center that blasts loud rap music, making it difficult to relax or enjoy a meal in peace. While the food itself was okay, it wasn’t enough to make up for the negative aspects. Also, while guests are required to remove their shoes before entering — which we had no issue with — it didn’t add any charm or cultural context to offset the overall poor impression. We would not recommend this place, unfortunately.

I stayed in Phi Phi Islands for almost a week, and I ended up coming to this restaurant every single day. It’s easily one of the cleanest and most well-cared-for places I found — the attention to detail in every dish, the comfort of the space, and especially the kindness of the staff really made me feel at home. I had some health issues during my first days, and they went above and beyond to accommodate my dietary needs. I’m truly grateful for that. The value for money is amazing — I checked several other restaurants on the island, and this one is by far the best. Thank you so much, I hope to be back soon!

Food is delicious to the extent we ate here twice over our 3 nights in Phi phi. They accommodated gluten intolerance so the meals were made gluten free! We appreciated the attention to detail - the little flowers that came with the coconut, rice shaped as a heart on the mango sticky rice ( we were on our honeymoon), toothpick, bug spray and sanitizer provided by the restaurant. The service is great and everyone is so polite.

If you're craving a carnivorous feast, look no further than Carnivore Steak & Grill. This Krabi hotspot is a haven for meat lovers, offering an array of grilled steaks, pork chops, juicy burgers, and delectable lobster bisque. While it may not be the most budget-friendly option in town, the quality of their steaks and other dishes make it worth every baht.
One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Krabi! Carnivore Steak & Grill is the perfect place if you’re a meat lover. The steaks were cooked exactly the way I asked, juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. They also have a great variety of sides and sauces that really complete the meal. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it ideal for both a relaxed dinner or a special evening. The staff were friendly, attentive, and gave great recommendations from the menu. Prices are fair for the quality you get, and the portions are generous. If you’re in Krabi and craving a proper steak with excellent service, this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommended!

First time in Thailand and visited this restaurant as a group of 10. We were all a little nervious about getting food poisoning during our visit to the country and so asked for reccomendations from staff members working at Gillhams Fishing lakes who recommended recommended this restaurant. All in all it was a good experience. All food was served hot and beautifully presented and tasted great - we were pleasantly surprised. I personally had ribeye steak and had it cooked well done (I usually have rare but again, wanted to minimalise any chances of food poisoning). Despite it being cooked well done it was still beautifully tender and fst wss rendered well. The peppercorn sauce was also one of the best ive had. If I come back to Ao Nang, I'd definitely visit this restaurant again.
Stuart D — Google review
The most unfriendly service I’ve experienced in Thailand – not a single smile and the waitress looked annoyed the entire time. The restaurant itself isn’t appealing. What might seem like a charming terrace is actually unbearably NOISY, with a loud water pump running constantly and traffic passing just meters away. No parking nearby. The meat was good but overall overpriced (same price in Europe) for the quantity and quality – side dishes were tiny and we left still hungry. Definitely wouldn’t return. There are far better steak restaurants within five minutes’ drive, offering bigger portions, better quality, a warm welcome and a much nicer setting.

So happy we found this place. You have a choice to sit inside or outside. Starters come with 2 small pieces of hot bread, sliced cheese & tomato and amazing tasting dips. We ordered ribeye & a tenderloin. Both cooked to perfection & served with individual salad plates and choice of side & sauce. Quality of steak very good and presentation immaculate. The owner clearly knows what he is doing. Service was efficient, well presented, but a couple of them could be a little more outgoing. All in all a fantastic meal ... thank you

We visited the restaurant after reading many positive reviews. The place is nicely decorated, with a pleasant atmosphere and light background music. We ordered the beef carpaccio as a starter, which was very tasty. The salads were fresh but nothing special. The mushroom soup was excellent. The steak was tender and flavorful, but the baked potato served with it was small and undercooked. The rice was quite plain. The round bread rolls were a bit dry, but when we mentioned it to the staff, they kindly replaced them with garlic bread, which was much better. We also had the “Efron Spritz” drink – it was refreshing and enjoyable. Overall, we had a good experience. Prices are on the expensive side. My son was happy with his meat dish, while I enjoyed parts of the meal but found some items less satisfying. As a nice gesture, we were served a complimentary Limoncello with the bill, which was delicious.

We had dinner and ordered the tomahawk. We had high expectations for the meat, but it had an unpleasant smell, and we couldn’t finish it. I wanted to complain, but my bf told me not to bother, so we decided to just write a review instead. The only good thing about this restaurant was the bread.

Service from Poi and Meen was excellent, attentive and super friendly. The atmosphere is amazing, right by the sea with a fire show at 9:30 and great music all night. We sat on the pillow seats (they can’t be reserved, just so you know) and had the best view. Truly one of the best beach club experiences we’ve had in Krabi! highly recommended!

Took a free shuttle from my resort of stay (SeaSeeker Resort) to here, to chill and watch the sunset. Beautiful view right infront of the beach, enjoy the waves and breeze. Had their cheesy pizza and some kindof iced tea. The combination makes the mood relaxing. The staffs are friendly and the place is clean. The price is reasonable also. You can also choose to come here for lunch then proceed to do some shopping around the area or cafe hopping. Otherwise, you could choose to do some shopping first, then come by Reeve for a chillaxing evening, enjoying the sunset. Then reserve a ride back to your resort (if they have) - SeaSeeker Resort has this option.

I was looking for a place to take my friend for her birthday. Reviews for this place were amazing so I made reservations. The staff was amazing from start to finish. Poi was our main server and she was just on top of everything. She was at our table before we could ask for her every time. Always smiling and being pleasant. Hana also helped our table and she too was so charming. If you're ever in Krabi, I suggest you stop by even if it's just for a cocktail.

Came to Thailand for Thai cuisine - however we fancied some western food after a long time away. We had the Thai green curry, Beef Massamam and also the Lamb shank pasta- all absolutely incredible in terms of flavour. This was my second time visiting, but this time it rained, which left the air very humid and extremely hot. The seating area where I was lacked a fan. The staff informed me that there was no available power socket to plug a fan into, so I had to sit there and endure the heat until it got dark and a cool breeze finally started to blow. On the positive side, the food was delicious, and the show at 7:30 PM was absolutely beautiful!

Crazy Gringo's Tex Mex FUN-Dining

Restaurant
Bar
Crazy Gringo's Tex Mex Restaurant, located in Walking Street near the junction of Ao Nang and the main road, offers a Tex Mex dining experience. The atmosphere may not exactly evoke Texas or Mexico, but it does provide a decent overall experience. While some find the food to be average and on the pricier side for what you get, others appreciate the great staff and enjoyable cocktails. Additionally, live music adds to the superb beachfront atmosphere.
Crazy Gringos is easily one of the best spots in town if you’re looking for great food, a fun vibe, and an unbeatable location. Situated right opposite the beach, it offers not just convenience but also a laid-back coastal charm that’s hard to beat. Whether you’re strolling in from the sand or planning a night out, the setting is ideal — easy to get to and perfect for soaking up the local scene. The food is consistently excellent. From fresh, flavorful tacos to delicious drinks, every item on the menu is made with attention to quality and taste. It's the kind of place where you can try something new each time and never be disappointed. The portions are generous, and everything comes out hot and fresh, which says a lot about the kitchen staff’s efficiency and care. What really makes Crazy Gringos shine is the atmosphere. The staff are fun, friendly, and incredibly efficient — you never feel like you’re waiting too long for service, even when the place is busy. The music is another major highlight. Lively, upbeat, and perfectly matched to the crowd, it keeps the energy high and the mood light. Overall, Crazy Gringos is more than just a restaurant — it’s an experience. Perfect location, great vibes, and even better food make it a must-visit.

Nice Mexican foods in Krabi. The BBQ pork ribs were incredibly tender, to the point where you hardly need to chew. The sauce served alongside was equally delightful, so tasty that I could happily enjoy it on its own. The fish tacos were super crispy andfilled with fresh, flavorful fish inside. I like it. What stood out most for me, was the atmosphere. The live singer had such a beautiful voice, and the music (especially 90s songs) matched the vibe of the restaurant perfectly. The staff were cheerful and clearly enjoyed themselves, singing along to every song. Their energy was so much fun, a little crazy like the restaurant name, and super nice to every guest. They even organized entertaining activities that made the evening even more enjoyable. All in all, this place has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in Ao Nang. A must-visit if you want great food and great vibes.

Every seat has a Mexican hat hanging on the back, which adds such a fun and festive vibe to the whole place. The food was absolutely delicious — full of flavor and beautifully presented, with a wide variety of dishes and drinks to choose from. But the real highlight? The amazing live performances by the talented waiters and the team! They sing, dance, laugh, and engage with the guests in such a fun and joyful way. It truly takes the dining experience to the next level. I’m already looking forward to coming back the next time I’m in Krabi. Highly recommend this spot if you want great food and unforgettable entertainment all in one place!

I had an amazing experience at this Mexican restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavors, and beautifully presented. Every bite felt like a trip to Mexico. The atmosphere was just perfect – lively, vibrant, and full of energy. The music added so much to the experience, setting the perfect mood for an enjoyable meal. A big shoutout to Kite, our waitress, who was simply wonderful. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect for us. Her warm smile and excellent service truly elevated our dining experience. Thank you, Kile, for making our visit so memorable! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great Mexican food and a fantastic dining experience. I’ll definitely be back!

Ton Ma Yom Thaifood,Aonang

$$$$cheap
Restaurant
Ton Ma Yom Thaifood Restaurant in Ao Nang may not catch your eye at first, but it's a hidden gem that has gained popularity. The restaurant's simple style and small size might not impress everyone, but it offers indoor and outdoor seating. Despite its cozy atmosphere, Ton Ma Yom serves a wide variety of delicious local dishes with efficient and friendly staff. It tends to get crowded during peak hours, so visiting earlier is recommended to avoid the rush.
In my opinion, this is the best restaurant in the area! The staff are friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the Thai food is absolutely delicious. We ended up ordering too much, so keep in mind that the portions are quite generous. Thank you so much!
Jolita V — Google review
Food is great and offers good value for money. We ordered Indian curry crab, tom yum soup, an omelette, and fried pineapple rice. However, later that night, my friend and I experienced mild food poisoning :( I suspect the Indian curry crab was spoiled. I ended up vomiting all the curry and had a mild fever 🤢

Coming from Singapore, I really enjoy the food here. The ingredients are fresh. Good spiciness. Very tasty. Friendly people. Good value for money too. Worth the walk to reach here!

The best Thai food we had in Thailand! It was so good we went back two nights after our first time trying it. The Pad Thai, Cashew Chicken and Mango Sticky Rice are phenomenal. We also tried lots of new things we had never tried before based on the lovely staff recommendations and were not disappointed! It is a lovely family run business and I could not recommend it more ☺️

Hidden Gem This restaurant, tucked away in a quiet alley, is one of the best I’ve visited in Thailand. It offers authentic Thai flavors, good quality, and fair prices. The Tom Yum Goong was absolutely delicious — 10/10. The fried rice with shrimp was excellent — 10/10. The egg and vegetable toast was super tasty — 10/10. The papaya salad was refreshing and flavorful — 10/10. The crispy fried chicken wings were amazing — 10/10. On the downside, the Massaman curry with beef and potatoes wasn’t very good — 4/10. The deep-fried shrimp had too much batter and felt heavy — 5/10. Overall, it’s a great restaurant that I highly recommend. The dishes are available in three sizes: small, medium, and large. A small size is perfect for one person, and you can enjoy a full meal with good quality at a reasonable price. They also offer a nice selection of Thai beers. Definitely visit this place — I call it a real “Hidden Gem”!

Kind staff, quick service and incredible food - could not recommend this place more! Tucked around the corner from the busier street, we were so stoked with our meal here that we came back the night afterwards as well. The waitress helped us with recommendations we wouldn’t normally choose (like Lotus stems and Kao Soi Chicken), and they were all amazing. Best Thai food we’ve had after 2 weeks in Thailand!

Amazing Thai food! So good that we ordered food from here a second time.

Came here for the khao soi after reading the good Google reviews, but it was below expectations — not like the Chiang Mai taste and nothing particularly special.

ACQUA Restaurant Phi Phi

$$$$affordable
Restaurant
ACQUA Restaurant Phi Phi is a charming and laid-back dining spot that offers a blend of classic Thai and European cuisine. It has been skillfully managed by the talented Chef Alessandro Frau for a decade, earning numerous awards and recognition, including a Plate award and acknowledgment in the Phuket Michelin Guide. Nestled near Patong Beach on the route to Kamala, this beautifully adorned restaurant is situated almost discreetly at Kalim Beach.
Went twice during our stay, excellent decor, service and most of all the food! Quality ingredients, fast service and delicious. Can’t ask for more. We had the Green and Massaman curry for dinner, and came back for the veggie burgers for lunch. The veggie burgers were homemade chickpea based and crunchy and filling. Highly recommend!
Clifford L — Google review
Very impressed with the breakfast here. One of the best available in Phi Phi town. Generous portions with quality bread and bacon, and a surprisingly good sausage. Beats most other places on quality and price. The flat white needs improving though. Really nice place and friendly owner.
Simon G — Google review
Very cute place. Live music but chill style not too loud. Very nice cocktails. Food was good too, we got a coconut curry with chicken and potato’s and some seafood fried but we saw the salads and pastas looking great too.
Gabriela B — Google review
The food was really good and tasty! We ordered an Australian steak medium rare the cuisson wasn’t exactly right, but it still tasted great. There was a live guitar performer who created a nice atmosphere friendly but not intrusive. Wouldn’t recommend the desserts though; they felt a bit ready-made.

Had the best dinner at ACQUA Restaurant Phi Phi! 😍🍝 The food was delicious, the staff were super friendly, and the live music made the night so special. 🎶 Such a cozy and fun vibe — no wonder the place is always full! Highly recommended if you’re on Phi Phi Island. 💯🍷

Amazing restaurant in Koh Phi Phi. We went there to have dinner, and it was so good that we decided to book a table for the day after! The manager of the restaurant is a very charming woman, who looks after her customers, and don’t hésitate to give advice and recommendations on the menu. Clearly the best food you can have in the island.
Aurelia C — Google review
I can’t say enough wonderful things about ACQUA Restaurant! This space radiates warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality from the moment you walk in. When we arrived and I casually mentioned it was my birthday, the staff smiled knowingly, as if they were already part of the celebration! After a delicious meal, they surprised me with the most decadent molten chocolate cake I’ve ever had — piled high with whipped cream, banana, colorful sprinkles and a sparkler (that I tried to blow out and almost singed my partner’s eyebrows lol). Then, to my delight, the entire team gathered to sing Happy Birthday to me with such happiness that it made my heart beam. Every member of the crew radiated joy and care. The food was beautifully presented and full of flavor - clearly made with pride. From the warm smiles to the lively atmosphere, you could feel how much they love what they do. ACQUA isn’t just a restaurant; it’s an experience. Whether you’re celebrating something special or simply enjoying island life, this is the place to be. Highly, highly recommended.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Acqua Restaurant on Phi Phi Island. I ordered the tenderloin steak paired with red wine, and it was absolutely delicious. All the staff were so kind, attentive, and welcoming 🙏 they truly made me feel at home. A special thank you to The owner, who took such good care of us throughout the meal. It was a lovely evening and a memorable experience. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Phi Phi! 🍷🥩✨

Jungle Kitchen

$$$$cheap
Restaurant
D&E Jungle Kitchen is a must-visit for those seeking authentic local cuisine in Ao Nang. The restaurant offers a delectable array of Thai dishes, including sweet and sour chicken, Massaman curry, and spring rolls, all crafted with the freshest ingredients by the skilled chef. Visitors rave about the genuine flavors and affordable prices at this establishment. While there are excellent vegetarian options available, vegan diners should remember to request their dishes without fish sauce.
Jungle Kitchen is a fantastic family-owned restaurant with a spacious open kitchen where you can see the chefs at work. We’d walked by a few times before finally stopping in, and we’re glad we did! Rob’s Pad Thai was hot, fresh, and full of flavour. Better Half had the Yellow Curry Crab, which came with a full crab—not just bits and pieces—and it was excellent. We enjoyed it so much we returned for lunch a few days later. The Vegetable Tofu Pineapple Curry was rich and tasty, and Better Half ordered the Yellow Curry Crab again because it was just that good. The only downside was a couple smoking constantly throughout their meal, which was frustrating. Despite that, the food and service make this place well worth visiting!

It is an amazing family owned business . The food is wonderful . We eat the pork neck fried rice , yellow curry seafood . The food is nice and they are able to adjust the spice level in the tom yum that my kids loved it . It truly the best meal that we eat in Ao nang . We even travel back from Sofitel to eat their food . Thumb up for the wonderful food and service .

Honestly, this is my favorite restaurant in Krabi. It’s not surprising at all why so many people love it. The place feels so natural and cozy, with a peaceful atmosphere and no loud noise. Every dish we ordered was truly delicious, nothing disappointed us. The prices are fair too, not expensive for the quality you get. The owners are such a lovely family, always caring and attentive. The staff are all friendly and cheerful, and the service is great. The chef really knows what she’s doing. Everything tastes homemade and full of flavor. I always come back here every time I’m in Krabi.

The best food in Krabi for sure. Pineapple curry is just amazing. We even were driving from Tubkaek beach to eat here as well as just before our flight. Visit this place to eat and thank me later! ❤️🙌

Family owned and run. Very friendly staff. Would recommend 💯 will be back for sure! Didn’t take a photo of the food cause it was gon as soon as it hit the table but as you can see we ate everything!

Smooth and Comfortable Airport Experience Phuket International Airport is clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate. The staff is friendly, supportive, and efficient, which makes arriving and departing very smooth. Even though it’s not a large airport, that actually works in its favor less walking and quicker movement through the terminals. There are plenty of food options, both Thai and Western, especially inside the domestic terminal near Gates 36–48. Prices are reasonable, and everything is kept clean. The airport also has a good variety of shops, from duty-free brands to local souvenirs and snacks. Immigration can get a bit crowded, but the staff handles it well. Transportation is easy too, with cabs and shared taxis available right outside. Overall, a surprisingly comfortable and convenient airport great for both domestic and international travelers.
Anshul J — Google review
Good for local airport, clean and have free wifi, changing station, and water dispenser. The taxi charges from air port to town is crazy expensive, more recommend to call taxi by application will be more reasonable. You can use Uber, bolt and Grab. However other than Grab, driver can't pickup inside airport and to walk to outside. Other option to get in town, you can use public bus. It'll cost only 100 Baht per person.
Kasemsan P — Google review
Phuket International Airport is clean, organized, and easy to get around. Check-in and security were smooth, and there are plenty of shops and cafés to relax before the flight. Good experience overall!
Charuka M — Google review
Not the largest of airports but that was a positive, means you don't have to walk as much! Getting through the airport was very easy. As soon as we got out the taxi, one employee loaded all of our luggage by himself and helped us in. The airport had a great variety of stores and food options. Nothing to complain about.
R R — Google review
Its a small airport and it was clean and easy to navigate. Immigration is rush but staffs were very supportive. Affordable food options at the first floor. Cabs and shared taxi is available outside.
Nithin N — Google review
The airport is user-friendly, especially the departure section. A lot of food outlets and small shops are available. Toilets are also clean. Arrival section in the international terminal can be a nightmare sometimes, with many flights arriving at the same time.

Krabi International Airport

International airport
Airport
Krabi International Airport is a small but growing airport with basic amenities such as souvenir shops and eateries. Upon arrival, travelers can choose from various transportation options including shuttle buses, shared taxis, and standard taxis. The check-in process is fast and efficient, with friendly staff at the Air Asia counter. Despite its small size, the airport offers all necessary facilities and has good food options after the check-in counters.
I don't understand the hate that this Airport received apart from the total shops here and my delayed flight. Everything here is just perfect. The airport looks new and quite huge. It is easily navigated. All the custom and immigration processes went smoothly. It is just well organized. The plug socket and wifi also provided. The airport is clean especially the toilet. Muslim prayer room was also provided. The staff and officers are nice and friendly. Just that not much shop open here.

A small airport big much bigger than hatyai one. Get to the Krabi town, take minibus is 90b, less than half hour, straight drop off to your hotel. To Ao Nang, it is just 100b. Return to airport, you just need to call the phone number on the ticket, same prices, the driver will pick you up at your hotel. There are few options of free WiFi, just need to sign up. Then you get 3 hours WiFi, speed is not bad. Ais tourist SIM card is 300b for 7 days. 🎬2025.6.15/18

Krabi Airport is small but lovely, clean and easy to find people. All necessary signs were installed around the airport area. There are several shops, bakeries, restaurants, prayers rooms, café. Krabi Airport is not a shopping venue, so please don't expect to see any department store or duty free shops!
Nattapong S — Google review
Krabi International Airport is small but efficient, with friendly staff and easy navigation. Security checks are smooth, and baggage claim doesn’t take too long. There are some restaurants and shops inside, including a few local souvenir spots. It’s a convenient gateway to southern Thailand with plenty of taxis and shuttle services outside. Clean, organized, and comfortable overall.
G-10-DRA Y — Google review
Spacious, well air-conditioned, clean (incl toilets). Good indications. Helpful staff. Big (and affordable) Thai and western food section at the end of the Departure hall. Both international and domestic flights are accommodated. Duty-free shopping is just getting set up (July 2025). Several ATMs in the arrival hall, after going through immigration and luggage. In low season, many taxi touts and people are clammering for business, so be tolerant. Either use the regular taxi (booths near exit) or use Grab. PA announcements are incomprehensible.
Hanno R — Google review
I love small international airports:) You can find different shops, a small food court. There's a good café in front of gate 11. The only issue with this airport is far from Ao Nang or Krabi city
Goran M — Google review
Modern airport, not huge but feels big for the number of flights. Baggage reclaim was quick, security check was not - there was a queue despite the airport not being busy. There are a few shops and food and drink options landside but not much once airside - would suggest only going through shortly before your flight. Toilets were plentiful but could have been cleaner.

New Renovation. AirAsia check in is a separate area. Eatery before and after Security. Arrivals have plenty of Taxis. Check price to destination & agree before hopping in
