Beach club
Located on the west coast of Bang Tao Beach, Catch Beach Club is a popular destination for locals and tourists in Phuket. It offers an Andaman beachfront experience with an infinity pool, cabanas, spa treatments, al fresco dining, and two bars. The club is known for its swanky eats and awesome music, pioneering the concept of a seaside hangout.
This place is just fantastic. I go there quite often and even have a member card now. Both Pool areas are great, the staff is attentive, areas are clean. The food is always good and the Sunday brunch is amazing as well as the Friday Dinner Buffet. The selection offered is always good and the food is fresh and of good quality. The DJ's are always excellent but this of course is a matter of taste. You'll be happy if you like electronic music mostly. Ibiza style atmosphere. I'm a bit sensible with noise but never had the feeling that the music is uncomfortably loud. Always appropriate for each time in the day. As a member you get many benefits and it's really worth it. So happy to be part of the family )) I simply love this place. Thank you for always and consistently giving me a good experience for over 2 years now. I appreciate that so much.

Had an amazing Friday night at the BBQ buffet! There was such a huge variety of food, and everything was incredibly tasty. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming. What stood out the most was the staff they were all so nice, friendly, and extremely helpful. Their positive attitude and attentiveness made the experience even better. Definitely a place I’d love to visit again!

You definitely need to make a reservation before coming here! The restaurant was extremely busy on Sunday — fully packed everywhere 😅 On Sundays, they only serve buffet, so there’s no à la carte menu available. If you prefer à la carte dining, it’s better to go to the restaurant next door

Had the most wonderful time here with my boyfriend. The food was brilliant from start to finish. 😍🤤🤤 The car park is spacious, and there’s even an ATM on site! Highly recommended if you’re looking to enjoy an intimate dinner with a loved one or simply a special time with family. Catch Beach Club caters to all kinds of occasions! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Catch Beach Club is simply outstanding, both day and night. The beachfront location on Bang Tao is breathtaking, with stylish sunbeds, cabanas and lounge areas that make you want to stay forever. The restaurant serves a wide range of Mediterranean, Asian and local dishes — always fresh, beautifully presented and full of flavor. Breakfast by the sea, the famous Sunday brunch and the Friday BBQ buffet are absolute highlights. As the sun sets, the vibe transforms: international DJs, great music, elegant lights and a lively crowd create an unforgettable atmosphere. The staff is attentive, friendly and professional, making every visit feel special. Prices are above average, but totally worth it for the overall experience. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy Phuket’s most elegant mix of dining, beach life and nightlife.

Best beach club in Bang Tao beach, amazing atmosphere, great service, beautiful place and design. Food was delicious and done to perfection. Only cons, children can’t use the club’s pools, only at nearby resort and the dirty river entering the ocean next to the club making the water quite dirty. Otherwise no complaints.
Marek H — Google review
My favorite beach-club in Bang Tao. In a day time, evening party, Friday or Sunday BBQ. Food is always good, virgin pina colada is the best in town (I swear) and the vibe is just incredible. Performances, entertainment and great fun vibe. Recommend to visit
Irina — Google review
We were there during the day while they were setting up for the night “white party.” They probably should have just closed for the day, it was very chaotic with setting up stages, music, construction etc. and we were constantly reminded that we were only allowed to stay until 3. The pool was nice but there isn’t really beach access. Ended up going next door to Lazy Coconut and enjoyed that much more.

Nature & Parks
Bang Tao Beach is a stunning destination on Phuket's west coast, known for its expansive shoreline adorned with soft white sands and crystal-clear blue waters. This beach offers the perfect blend of relaxation and activity, making it ideal for leisurely walks or invigorating runs along its compact sand. As you venture further north, you'll discover quieter spots that provide a serene escape from the busier areas.
We came here outside of season and it was amazing. You do have to walk quite a bit to get to the green space with trees but if you prefer lying on the beach any place will be good. You can have a meal at any restaurant and use their sunbeds. Because we came in monsoon season the ocean is quite energetic and it's difficult to swim because of the waves. The temperature of the Ocean is amazing, so warm! I would highly recommend it.

‼️‼️‼️🚩🚩🚩⚠️⚠️⚠️ A very dangerous beach. The sea currents can suddenly carry you into deep water. When the red flag is displayed, it's best not to enter the ocean because it's very dangerous!!!!!!.....⚠️⚠️⚠️🚩🚩🚩

Visited Bang Tao Beach in September during the off-season. The area was peaceful with fewer crowds, but there wasn’t much happening around. The weather was unpredictable with occasional rain, and the sea wasn’t at its best — not the clear blue with white sands you usually see in photos. Still, it’s a nice spot for a quiet stroll and relaxation away from the busier beaches.
Hashith K — Google review
At approximately 6 kilometers long, Bang Tao is one of the largest beaches in Phuket! Bang Tao means “lagoon”. The lagoon has beautiful, well-maintained areas, golf courses. Everything around it looks European. In the evening people go out for a jog, but, for all that, there is preserved traditional Thai architecture and exotic nature. The atmosphere on the beach is calm and peaceful, which is taken advantage of by the large number of bathing moms with small children. The flora of the beach is mainly made up of coniferous casuarinas. The sea is transparent, turquoise in color. The sand on the beach is crisp, light gray in color. The depth of the entrance to the sea will depend on the place where you swim, but unlike many beaches, it will be deeper here! The beach is practically without low tides. The sunsets here are very beautiful! Full information with video and easy navigation - in the app 👉 PHUKETON

One of the best beach in Phuket. Not busy like Patong and other famous beaches in Phuket like Karon. Beautiful sandy beach stretched. Rainy and dry season both are wonderful. If you want to stay in peaceful and little bit remote from busy tourist area, here is the one of the best place.

One of the nicest and cleanest beaches in whole of Phuket in my humble opinion. Been here a few time throughout the years. Always like to stay close to Xana. Beach restaurants close by offer amazing Thai food as well.
Marcoolinho — Google review
Wide, quiet beach. Water is clear and not too many vendors. Good place for morning runs. Restaurants nearby are mostly overpriced, so better grab food away from the shoreline. Waves can get strong depending on the season, so swimming is not always ideal.

Visited in the first week of October...almost no rain...sunny days with short afternoon showers. Beautiful clean beach with lots of easy access to restaurants and shops. Lots of good accommodation alongside the beach. Waves were gentle and swimming safe. Close enough to Phuket central but away from the crazy city life. Great for young families.

Surin Beach is a stunning destination that captivates visitors with its pristine white sands and inviting turquoise waters. This picturesque beach not only provides comfortable chairs and umbrellas for rent but also features an array of street food vendors, making it a perfect spot to relax and indulge in local flavors. Nestled along Phuket's West Coast, Surin Beach is part of a breathtaking stretch that includes other beautiful beaches like Nai Yang, Naithon, and Mai Khao.
Very nice beach, you can go for a walk on the rocks on the right side to admire the nice views and get some privacy for yourself. I recommend 🙂

“During the rainy low season there aren’t too many tourists around. From about 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. it usually doesn’t rain, the water’s clear and great for swimming. You’ll see quite a few people surfing, and locals selling tasty food at good prices. There aren’t any big restaurants right on the beach.”

Honestly very disappointing. It’s a shame because it’s such a beautiful beach but lacks infraestructure, and the surrounding area is messy, there are no bathrooms, it looks unkempt
Tamara R — Google review
Beautiful sand and water, beautiful view, great spot for tanning and some good vendors around. Bathrooms are difficult to access and basically just a hole in the ground, which is not great considering it is a busy beach area. Beach can be a bit of a mess and could probably use some proper maintenance on a few areas + the access roads to improve atmosphere and quality of experience. Overall though, one of my favourite beaches in Phuket so far!
Shamukai — Google review
Great beach to take kids to. Water isn't to rough. There is a lot of construction going on at the beach front at the moment but still a great place for a swim

Surin Beach is a long stretch of white sand that runs parallel to the Andaman Sea. The crystal clear turquoise water and gentle waves are perfect for swimming and playing in the water. The overall atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, making it a perfect getaway for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle. In addition to its natural beauty, Surin Beach has many activities to do, such as sunbathing on the beach, strolling along the beach, playing beach volleyball, or snorkeling to see coral reefs and colorful schools of fish. There are also restaurants and small shops that serve tourists. Whether you come to relax alone, with your lover, or with your family, Surin Beach is ready to provide you with an impressive experience. Come experience the happiness and beauty of this beach and you will surely fall in love with Surin Beach! "Welcome to enjoy life 😄 happy in Thailand "

A beautiful beach for swimming, a nice little wave came through for a body surf most days I visited on my month holiday. Shade trees. Nice sand. Clean. A few stalls. And a good beach. Perfect!

Surin Beach is one of the most beautiful and peaceful beaches I’ve visited in Phuket. The water is crystal clear, the sand is soft and fine, and the beach isn’t too crowded — even during the high season, you can still find a quiet spot to relax. The sunset is absolutely stunning, and the natural landscape is picture-perfect. Whether you’re swimming, sunbathing, or just sitting with a book, it’s the kind of place you can enjoy all day without getting bored. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a beach that combines natural beauty with a calm, laid-back vibe.

Animal protection organization
Green Elephant Sanctuary Park is a lush sanctuary nestled in the jungle near Surin Beach, providing a natural and safe home for rescued elephants. Visitors can participate in guided tours to feed, bathe, and care for these gentle giants under the supervision of experienced elephant trainers. Founded by two Swiss nationals with a passion for improving the lives of elephants in Thailand, the park operates according to European animal protection laws.
Amazing experience! If you have the time book it! You get to interact with the elephants in an amazing once in a life time experience. You learn how the mahout tend and care for the elephants their entirety of the elephants life until one or the other dies. You get to give the elephants a mud scrub, you get to hand feed them, shower them and tons and tons of pictures taken by the sanctuary’s photographers that are uploaded the very next day free of charge! Transportation to and from the sanctuary is prohibited provided as well as lunch. The lunch is chili free and allergy friendly. There are vegans options. Hands down the best part of my entire trip to Phuket.

I really enjoyed my visit. The elephants are beautiful and seem quite relaxed. First we met the baby elephant with its mum, and this was a quick meet and greet. I liked that it was a short meeting so the e baby or mother didn’t get stressed out. Then we met many more older elephants at various locations around the sanctuary. My young son really enjoyed feeding them the vegetables. Lovely staff and a great experience.

This is a must-do attraction when visiting Phuket. A very close and direct encounter with these majestic animals. You get to feed them some treats, pat them and do them a mud-wash bath. The elephants are calm, friendly and treated very well. They are not forced into anything, and they are not abused. The pickup from the hotel was smooth and on-time, the included buffet lunch was good, and the place is very kid-friendly. There are professional photos taken by a photographer of you with the elephants which can be downloaded later, and it's included in the visit. Each elephant has a dedicated keeper (Mahout) that is familiar with the elephant and accompanies it all the time. So the whole visit feels very safe and organized. My wife and I visited with our two small children, and we all had an amazing time!

I am so glad we chose this one! They only have elephants saved from jungle ride, tracking and locking! So spending money here goes to taking good care of them! We had amazing time, elephants are so calm, happy and peaceful ☺️ they have teenager elephant for kids, and they give them priority (I don’t have kids on my own yet, but I really liked that!) You have plenty of time to feed them, take fotos, scrub them with mod, splash them in pond with cans, rub them with brooms 🚿🧹 Profi photographers are taking fotos non stop, it is soooo cool, you can relax and enjoy, we left our phones for most of the time. Food is delicious especially chicken nuggets and spring rolls. Driver was amazing too, he let us connect to play music along ride.

A must visit sanctuary. The highlight of our cruise. Amazing to get up close to these incredible elephants and to learn about how they have been rescued. Each elephant has a keeper for life who lives on site. You are not allowed to ride the elephants and all interactions are well supervised. Lunch was prepared on site in an open kitchen, great food - don’t miss this! We booked direct with the sanctuary and they picked us up from the ship. Kaz & Nige

It was a very good experience seeing elephants for the first time in my life. The speeches they gave showed so much respect and love for these animals. I strongly recommend this sanctuary. In my opinion, the price is very worth it for everything they deliver, like a delicious lunch with Thai food, beverages, and free pick-up/drop-off.

Had an amazing experience visiting Green Elephant Sanctuary. They made the entire experience seamless and worry free from pick up at hotel to attending to all guests when arriving, and guiding us all throughout the experience. The elephants are rescued from tough situations. You get to feed them, give them therapeutic mud baths, and a rinse. There are photographers in various areas taking photos for you. They have clean showers for once you are done, and a tasty Thai buffet for the end! I highly recommend if you are visiting Phuket.
Tracey K — Google review
Absolutely recommend visiting this elephant sanctuary! They provide a safe haven for rescued elephants, giving them a much-deserved second chance. From being picked up and transported to the sanctuary, to the hands-on experience of feeding, bathing, and showering the elephants, it's a truly beautiful and rewarding organization. The staff are incredibly lovely, and the tour concludes with a wonderful buffet and unlimited cold drinks. Clean, hot showers are available at the end of the experience, which is a thoughtful touch. Professional photographers capture the whole tour, and you can download the photos free of charge. The guides are both funny and highly informative. If you have the opportunity to visit, please support this amazing sanctuary. I would 100% go back the next time I'm in Thailand! 🥰

We had an absolutely fantastic experience as a family at Adventure Mini Golf! The mini golf course provided an immense amount of fun and entertainment. The package prices were incredibly fair, encompassing all our desires, including refreshing drinks and a thoughtful wet towel at the end of the 18 holes. Each game we played brought a new level of excitement and enjoyment. The staff's friendliness and helpfulness further elevated our experience. They were readily available to assist us, enhancing the overall positive atmosphere. Undoubtedly, this is a fantastic destination for families seeking enjoyable activities and the opportunity to create enduring memories. This was such a pleasant find! First off the restaurant surroundings are gorgeous. Place is well lit and service so prompt. The food was great too - my favourite were the tacos and duck salad. They have a pretty decent wine selection too - will be back!

I came for dinner at suay and had a bit of a higher expectation because of the Michelin recs. However, I find the food here mediocre, not bad but not great either, and quite pricey. As someone who grew up in Thailand, I think the food here taste like it’s more catered towards foreigners. I had an okay time there but wouldn’t go back personally.

We discovered this restaurant through the Michelin Guide, and we loved absolutely everything about it! The food was incredibly delicious — every dish was full of flavor, especially the tacos and the Tom Yum. The service was outstanding, making the whole experience truly memorable. The “Bomb Alaska” is amazing!

Exceptional experience! Incredibly delicious food - fusion of Thai and European. We’ve got burrata salad and grilled prawns for starters, seabass and salmon for mains, awesome mango sticky rice with rice ice cream for dessert and bottle of light and refreshing Riesling. And everything was absolutely mouthwatering. Outstanding service and great vibe. Highly recommended

This was my first time, dining in a luxurious restaurant and we expected it to be amazing, yet the word "amazing" would be an understatement for a such restaurant now. As a special day, my girlfriend's birthday to be exact, we chose this restaurant as our destination and it went unexpectedly great! The foods, for us, were incredibly good. Plus, the music and atmosphere fitted perfectly for such a occasion. I could say that this was one of the most memorable birthdays for both her and me. Also, I would love to give special thanks to chefs, musicians and the whole team, especially P'Lily, P'Cha-aim, P'Eye, P'Benz and P'Field, for accomodating us throughout our dinner.

Fine dining restaurant
PRU restaurant, located in the upscale Trisara resort, stands out for its chef's ability to create exquisite dishes using locally sourced ingredients. Chef Jim Ophorst's approach focuses on utilizing produce from Pru Jampa, an organic farm by Trisara, and obtaining proteins directly from local farmers and fishermen who follow sustainable practices. The restaurant's farm-to-table concept extends to a wide variety of vegetables, Thai herbs, flowers, and other fresh ingredients sourced from Phuket.
A must-do for any foodie visiting Phuket. PRU is more than a restaurant — it’s an experience. Every dish is a masterclass in refinement, showcasing local ingredients elevated through months (and often years) of thoughtful development. The flavours are everything delicate and subtle to bold and inventive, making it utterly unforgettable. From the story behind each plate to the flawless execution, this was easily one of the most memorable meals I’ve ever had. The team behind the experience are warm, friendly and generous with their knowledge! Loved it!
Katherine M — Google review
We went to PRU to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday and had such a special evening. It really felt like stepping into a whole new food experience with a Michelin One Star Chef. The drive from Chalong took about an hour and it was raining, but the restaurant was beautiful and welcoming once we arrived. Huge thanks to Alberto, Khun Ton, and Khun Jennifer for the warm service and thoughtful arrangements, they really made us feel comfortable the whole time. We really enjoyed the way they presented the raw ingredients before each course, and the team did a great job introducing the dishes together with the chefs. The garden-to-table vegetables were excellent, and the non-alcoholic pairing was a lovely touch that went perfectly with the menu. The timing between each course kept us excited to see what would come next. Not every dish was exactly to our taste, but overall it was a memorable experience — and the little birthday ice cream at the end made it extra sweet.
Pui N — Google review
Summary: - Complex and inventive food that often strays into “challenging” territory, for better or worse. - Warm, professional service. Beautiful space. - Overpriced? Service: Excellent, from start to finish. Not just warm and friendly, which is par for the course in Thailand, but professional, engaging and attentive. Thank you! Food: Photos below. Everything is carefully prepared and beautifully plated in the open-plan kitchen, with many of the ingredients coming from Pru’s nearby farm. I unreservedly enjoyed 4 of the 8 dishes that we were served: the orange curry, lobster, and aged duck being standouts for me. The other half of the meal left me with mixed feelings. Setting aside the amuse bouche and petit fours, which played it quite safe, the first and last courses are a durian dish (an infamously love-it-or-hate-it delicacy), and a kimchi ice cream (the second to last dish, also a dessert, included shallot ice cream with sweetened fish sauce). Pru describes itself online as serving inventive food. It does, for sure, but I think that a few too many of the dishes stray into challenging territory, and perhaps intentionally so - the kimchi ice cream was introduced as something they made “because they could”; the shallot ice cream because “why not?. This was all meant in good humour, and the chefs are very charming, but it’s a slightly unusual ethos. Art for the artist, I guess. In conclusion, whilst I do appreciate experimentation in fine dining, especially in “awardsy” type tasting menus, I still want the majority of what I’m served to be, for lack of a better description… delicious. I can’t say that Pru wholly delivered in this respect, although there were individual dishes that I loved. All very subjective, I know, and my girlfriend felt differently, happy to view it as more an artistic experience than a traditional meal. Pricing: We paid USD700 for two, including two glasses of champagne and three glasses of wine (total, not each). This is more or less what I would expect to pay in Singapore or Hong Kong, for something similar, but an equivalent restaurant in those cities would be likely to have higher overheads (e.g., big city rent and more imported ingredients). USD5-600 would have felt fairer, but the place is busy, with few direct competitors, and Phuket is booming. The demand is clearly there.
Louis B — Google review
We came to celebrate our anniversary and Jennifer, Pru's Guest Experience Manager, made it incredibly memorable. She asked for any details of our relationship, from our first date, drinks and favourite flowers, and incorporated all of them into a tailored and personalized dining experience. The service was attentive and flawless, with immaculate timing and detailed explanation of the ingredients and preparation of each dish. Chef Jimmy also gave us a personal tour of his kitchen and even shared the systems he puts in place to manage operations and hire talent! The venue, with the view of the sea and rays of the setting sun was spectacular - even the artwork was mesmerizing. Our favourite dishes were the Durian, Citrus and wild Isodon, Phuket Lobster with orange curry, and the Lotus Root! Divine!
Azran O — Google review
an absolute joy and experience dining here. we were served by the most professional and attentive team! we had the opportunity to visit the kitchen, where the food prep was eye opening. we were also pleased to learn how they minimised food waste by creating new purposes for parts of the ingredients that would otherwise be discard, sustainability was on the top of their priorities. view was gorgeous of course and we will return another time perhaps in the evening to catch it with sunset. The wood that was used to smoke the meat added a lovely scent to the whole place. one of us were particularly enamoured by a local fruit that we never had before, and the chef surprised us by an extra serving it right at the end. all these little touches were wonderful, thank you!

An impressive dining experience literally PRU is absolutely not more than just a Michelin starred restaurant, but a refined showcase that exclusively curated those plant nature, raise flavors, and understand ingredients in Phuket. Those savory dishes manifested the inventions how the chefs transformed them into balanced, beautifully presented, and sustainably storytelling of farm to table and committed to supporting local communities. PRU is world-class essence of culinary, visually appealing and tasteful cuisine along the way.

A special experience from the moment you are welcomed downstairs with a glass of Billecart Salmon and farewelled with some amazing “petit four” after enjoying a divinely crafted set menu. A truly indulgent experience. It was made even more special by a tour of the open kitchen that explained the philosophy behind PRU in supporting local Phuket and Thai farmers and showcasing uniquely Thai flavours. An amazing wine list but careful thought is also put into the wine pairing by the very competent Sommelier team. An indulgent experience from start to finish.

Breakfast is superb, with wide variety of food and impressive drip coffee (by our barista, K.Fern). The beach is also nice and peaceful. My only comment is that the snacks and beverages should be complimentary given the room rate is comparatively high. But overall, we did have an impressive experience.

I spontaneously decided to take a short, one-night trip from Bangkok to stay at Trisara. A hotel attendant was already waiting for me at the airport, and the entire process was seamless. The resort offered a truly private space; the restaurants and communal areas were never crowded, and you barely saw other guests. The staff service was impressive. They often anticipated my needs before I even had to make a request, which made the stay incredibly comfortable and relaxing. The view from my villa's pool was absolutely breathtaking, with the Andaman Sea stretching out to the horizon. I will be returning very soon! Yuki T.

Amazing property with incredible location. Beautiful rooms. Extremely clean. Service is out of this world. Whan (meow meow) for breakfast was a sweetheart. Ed went above and beyond to accommodate our stay. We would love to come back and stay for a longer time.

Really nice facilities, very quiet, and peaceful. Just stopped by for food but we received great service from the team, even though we are not the hotel guests. 👏🏻👍🏻

Sunday brunch at Trisara yesterday. What it lacks in size, it more than makes up for in quality. Super fresh seafood, great beef Wellington, a good selection of desserts and some stiff cocktails, all in a beautiful beachside setting.

The most insane resort I ever stayed in! The service and food are just next level. We have been going to restaurant Thai library every single night. The food is self grown by the resort and are sososo delicious. The massage spa was so good as well - the therapist can be gentle yet hard at the same time. Fell asleep everytime I got a massage from them. The villa is so private, it’s always beautiful silence except from the nature. U can watch the sunset sitting by the pool. And the staffs light the mosquitoes coil for you everyday.

Kin-Kub-Ei, which means "eat with auntie" in Thai, is a charming hidden gem in Phuket. The restaurant is run by Auntie Tubtim, who prepares delicious southern Thai dishes using her family recipes. The dining experience at Kin-Kub-Ei is exclusive, as the restaurant is only open three days a week and requires reservations. The menu changes seasonally based on fresh market ingredients, offering a surprise of spicy flavors from southern Thai cuisine.
🧄🌶️The atmosphere is tranquil and breezy, even during the hot season. The décor is simple and easy on the eyes. The food truly lives up to its reputation—delicious in every bite. My personal favorites are the sour curry, fried steamed buns, and wine-flavored ice cream. The flavors reflect Southern Thai cuisine but are not overly intense. Everything is thoughtfully prepared with a unique charm of its own. ☎️I recommend booking a table and sending your order list via the restaurant’s LINE account in advance it’s a better option than just walking in.

Another precious gem of Thai Southern Cuisine Restaurant in Phuket. Expect a homie local vibe with affordable dishes. They will buy fresh ingredients daily so you have to book ahead and make deposit. They are closed on Monday and Tuesday so check the time before you go. I admire the skill of the chef, all dishes are aromatic and tasty. The fish is the star of the show, sweet meat with flavorful seasoning on top. When you eat with the warm rice, its like a dream come true. CHEERS!

Coming from overseas and would love to try local food, this place is it! The food was delicious, well prepared and most of the ingredients are local. Staff are super friendly, we rocked up without any reservation and they are welling to accommodate us. However I would recommend secure your table before arrival. I was really impressed with all the dishes we ordered.

Local Southern Thai Food. Highly recommended. Cozy environment. Nice service. Limited selections but all dishes that we ordered is tasty with generous portions. Definitely revisit❤️ It’d be better to come with a group of 4-6 so you can try many dishes. We came as a couple and order 4 dishes, which barely finished. I really want to try the fried mini buns with thai custard but I was too full😔 P.S. Advance booking via line or DM is highly recommended. The advance deposit 500 baht will be deducted from the bill later on.

Easiest the BEST meal we had in our 4 days in Phuket! Quality of food, depth of taste, service by the staff and the calming ambience made this place such a gem. Multiple Michelin stars and you can totally understand why when you taste the food. Aunty chef was so cool and friendly.

Food : Thai-local phuket food is very good. Tasty and nice decoration. Some menu need to pre booking otherwise can't have. Price is medium to a bit high but food is good enough, taste is unique. Like it! Booking: Booking is needed , they are small local shop with not many staffs. Booking is easy and convenient. Atmostphere: Nice and feel relax , good local decor , not hot even it no aircon. Rest room is good and clean. *Have enough car park that is great, envn it is soil not cement but still in good condition. Menu: I put most of menu here so others can decide before you go.

Good restaurant overall with great service. Liked the ambiance and atmosphere there. Enjoyed the items we ordered other than the fried fish. With all the amazing fried fish varieties available in Thailand, this didn’t impress as much.

Cafe
Nestled in a serene neighborhood, Ma Doo Bua is a charming cafe housed in a traditional Thai building, offering ample open spaces and large windows. Its picturesque setting by a stunning lotus pond makes it popular among the selfie-loving crowd. The cafe serves authentic Thai cuisine alongside refreshing smoothies and juices. While the photogenic view is its main draw, some visitors note that it has become an Instagram hotspot, leading to crowds vying for photo opportunities.
I went an hour before closing. I didn't want a photo shoot. I wanted to enjoy the peace of the temple and the beautiful water lilies. When I walked in, I was told where I could go to get nice photos. I said thank you and vegan to admire the beauty of the area, the fish and the lilies. Thank you Ma Doo Bua for being there and allowing others to experience the beauty of the temple. 🙏🏽

Extremely Disappointing Experience at Ma Doo Bua Photo Booth I visited Ma Doo Bua recently and paid 1,900 baht for a photo session, but unfortunately, the experience with the Photo Booth staff was absolutely terrible. The women working there were extremely rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional from the moment we arrived. They kept shouting at us, speaking harshly, and showing no sense of courtesy or hospitality. When I politely asked to speak with their manager to address the situation, claimed they didn’t have a manager, and continued to talk in their own language while using their phones and completely ignoring us. I have never felt this humiliated and unwelcome in my life. It was deeply disappointing, especially after paying such a high price for what was supposed to be a pleasant experience. On the other hand, I want to acknowledge the restaurant staff, who were the complete opposite kind, respectful, and genuinely welcoming. They treated us with warmth and professionalism, which made the experience slightly better. Overall, I would not recommend the Photo Booth service at Ma Doo Bua to anyone. The behavior of the photo staff completely ruined what could have been a beautiful visit. I hope the management takes serious action to address this unacceptable conduct.

The Cafe is picturesque - and has many amazing selfie zones. We took the package of getting our pictures clicked from their Drone and the result was amazing. Though we had to wait for 3-4 hours, but the food was good - though a bit pricey. We were lucky that our slot was moved ahead and our waiting time got reduced. Overall, full worth the price paid.

There is only one “kind of” nice thing in this place and it’s the lily pad pond. It’s nowhere near comparable to the other beautiful things on this island so that already makes this stop completely useless. So then does it have any other redeeming qualities? The food? No. The flavor is mediocre and the prices are not competitive. The view? No. When you sit down and want to look out and enjoy the view you can’t see anything because there’s a massive line in front of the dock at the lily pond. The atmosphere? No. The line moves so incredibly slowly because each person wants to take 50 pictures. Everyone is annoyed and frustrated. The photo opportunities? No. There’s only one good place to take a photo. When you’re sitting on the nets, you can get a little bit of the Lily pads in the background but it doesn’t give you any sense of the ambience. If you take any wider of an angle, you just end up with other people at the end of the dock in your photos. The service? No. the staff never comes over to you unless you call them first. They are too busy corralling the Instagram crowd and making sure that no one gets in and takes a photo without paying first. The food? No. It takes a long time to come out and the quality is mediocre and overpriced. This place is purely for people who walked others to think they are having great experiences, not people who want to actually have great experiences. It is an Instagram trap in its purest form. Go literally anywhere else and you will have a better time and more substance.

I went there last week Friday and Saturday, in attempt to have the water Lilly drone pictures, and I failed both times. The first day we arrived around 12h00, and they said they were fully booked for the day, which was fair given it was noon. But how it was said was rude and dismissive. Fine, we had a meal, a seafood platter, which was very pricey, a our 1100 baht. The sea bass fish and the robeye were the only delicious things there. The mussels were dry and prawns lacking in taste. It would also help of they sliced the prawns open so the spices get in there and it'd be easier to eat. The drinks were very tasty, and service at the restaurant was fast. The restaurant is beautiful and located in a place not far from Phuket town. The water lillies elevate the esthetics, and you can take pictures on the walkway next to the water even if you are not taking drone pictures in the kayak. We went back the next day, arrived at 08h45 as they don't do bookings and had said to come at 08h30. After not finding anyone at the booth and wondering what's happening, another customer directed us inside to get a number, of which we were not 17. The lady giving out the number was irritable when I was asking follow up questions as she wasn't clear on the process. As we sat, I realised she explained better and grew a bit more patient as the morning went. It was raining, so they didn't start ticket sales until the skies cleared up to prevent having to refund people at the end of the day (which they do if they don't get to you by 17h00). Around 09h10 they started selling tickets according to the numbers, and we got a 14h20 slot, which was a bummer as we had a 13h00 tour prebooked. So the ticket is for the entire group, if you are a group of 5 and want individual photo sessions, tou get the same number, then go buy seperate tickets together, hence the late time slots. We were really disappointed to not find anyone to swop with. We spent about 800-1000 baht per person forthe meal. Otherwise, the place is gorgeous, drinks are great, food okay, staff impolite, restaurant staff efficient. If you decide to go, it might be worthwhile to go early and be mentally prepared to spend the whole day if you want the Lilly photos. I don't know about the hotel part

Yes, it is beautiful spot but: 1) reception staff woman was rude while explaining that it all booked 2) you can’t book a boat in advance, w came around 2pm and everything is already booked, so you have to come earlier if you want pic on the boat but we actually was happy enough just with other photos without a boat 3) restaurant menu was really average, for this price it could be better. Chicken wings tasteless - no spices or anything at all. 4) restaurants staff not really friendly, whenever you say thank you - they ignored. The only parking security man was really nice and got tips from us. Still recommend to visit but not for dining

This place is amazing....so beautiful. If you go to Thailand, you have to go here and take pics of the beautiful (lily or lotus) pad leaves. You get in a boat and a drone takes your pics. And the café was delicious. It was a couple hour wait to take the pics but so worth it.

Disappointing experience. Yes the photos look good but the hospitality is horrendous. It’s just a cheap influencer spot. Was raining the day we went so yes the shoot was cancelled but the way they speak to you is like they’re doing you a favour for letting you take pictures at the place. I guess they just need to replace their whole staff. Only one lady was nice and everyone just had a hissy fit attitude.. like they don’t want the so called influencers to be there to just take pictures but also that’s their whole business model so why not embrace it? Also have maybe a few English speaking servers if the whole appeal is for tourists to PAY for taking pictures?
