Sights & Landmarks
Nestled atop the stunning red rock buttes of Sedona, the Chapel of the Holy Cross is a modern architectural marvel that dates back to 1956. Perched about 250 feet high on a twin pinnacled spur, this chapel offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. While it serves as an important site for the Catholic Church Diocese, it warmly welcomes visitors daily (except on major holidays) to explore its unique design and impressive artwork.
Beautiful serenity......a must visit. We made the drive to Sedona to see this beautiful sanctuary. Very glad to have made the drive as pictures do not do it justice. The gift shop was a plus to purchase some memorable souvenirs. There are candles to light with their suggested donation amount for the candles ($1) which is so reasonable. The parking is limited so either go earlier or later to beat the crowds if yiu plan to sit and enjoy it and pray!! Happy prayers 🙏 ✨️

Easily one of the most wonderful stops we made on our trip. We spent time here enjoying the views and peaceful vibe. Everything from the drive in to the walk up the ramp was stunning. Once you reach the entry you are greeted by friendly staff. I can understand why it has so many good reviews. We picked up some items from the amazing ladies in the gift shop and enjoy part of a mass. The gift shop had things packed into every available space so take your time and you’ll find something for sure. Most are religious items, however there are many items that were not. So many people showed for mass, they placed chairs outside to maximize the amount of people who could enjoy it. Parking is a bit tricky, with only a few handicapped spaces, and the walk uphill once you find a spot made people a bit frustrated - I would suggest trying to find a slow time. We went on a Friday afternoon and it was pretty busy. I have to assume earlier weekdays would be better. You can drop people who can’t do the uphill walk at the top of the hill but getting a vehicle turned around and back down can be tough and take a bit. They have team members on golf carts if you can get one! Take a small car if you can!

Major shout out to Chapel of the Holy Cross you’re truly setting the bar for excellence thank you to all those that maintain the grounds and for have handicap accessible parking. This Chapel is alive with the energy of God, beautiful place to come and pray and see very beautiful scenic view.. if you’re doing cross country trips or just visiting Sedona, Arizona I highly recommend that you put this on your bucket list of places to see as well worth the trip

Parking is very limited. As well as safely getting a good picture. Be safe taki.g photos below the road. The insode of the church is very small. They do allow you to come inside and talk to God. There's a smal gift shop below. The views of sedon is beautiful at the top of the church
Kris M — Google review
Beautiful place with stunning views and a well-known tourist destination. Parking: Free parking is available either right outside the chapel or at the lower level, with golf carts available to take visitors to the top (free service, accept tips). You can drive up and park if a spot is open, or return to the lower lot if full. There is also a Sedona shuttle connect service that takes guests to the top, providing another great option. Kudos to the staff for their excellent efforts in managing and assisting visitors despite the limited parking availability.

I went on a busy Saturday, but still found a parking spot in one of thier 2 small parkings lots. You park below and walk up the street or the labeled dirt trail, and there is about 5 disabled parking spots at the top..... plenty of room to get in and walk around the Chapel and gift shop downstairs, without waiting. You can walk up the the front of the Chapel, once inside and see the Jesus footprints in Bronze. Be sure to get lots of scenic pics on both sides, when outside by the Chapel. Worth the quick stop, it was free and it took me about 30-45 min. Worth of time to see.

Nice place to stop and visit. It was packed with people so we ended up parking on the lower section and took the trail up to see everything. Short little hike but not all that difficult. Nice walking path to get to the Chapel. Amazing location / views with all that surrounds it.

Shopping
Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village is a charming outdoor market in Sedona, Arizona, featuring art galleries, craft shops, cobblestone paths, and decorative arches. The village offers a wide selection of board games at Tlaquepaque Toy Town for guests to enjoy during their stay. Originally established by a businessman from Nevada, this village has become one of the best art and crafts destinations in Arizona.
This is the go-to place to shop or just browse. There is something for everyone. The earlier you go the better as it gets busy really quick in the afternoon. We saw paintings, spices, spirits (small batch), sculptures, clothes, hats, jewelry, books, and wind vanes and we were there for about three hours and only got to see the left side. Across the road on the right side you could spend another three hours easily if you so choose. It is very nice and tranquil. Check out the videos as they will do more justice, than my talking. Great times!!!

Such beauty in every turn throughout Tlaquepaque. From art to amazing water fountains, beautiful flowers to restaurants and chai spots. There is something for everyone, but let me tell you most items will cost you a pretty penny here. It is an amazing photo op area for any budding or professional. If you’re in Sedona and have the time it’s must stop at-least once. I highly recommend d checking out the chapel. While small it is beautiful.

When your in Sedona, it's a must visit!! Beautiful architecture, outdoors with trees abound. A great time is fall, leaves are changing to fall colors, 60 degree weather under sunny and partly cloudy days. Several shops and a couple good places to eat in this center. I ate at Oak Creek Brewery and Grill when I visited, which was absolutely wonderful. I walked leisurely throughout the center and popped in a few of the art shops, rug stores;etc. Even on a Wednesday it was busy with people visiting and shopping from all over the world. A great experience.
Charlie B — Google review
Dude this place is awesome, if your a video gamer and love the experience of exploring those cool artsy districts this is totally the place to visit I love how the architecture here is "intimate" and different, it was raining outside when I visited too which totally added this wonderful relaxing moody vibe There's definitely plenty of places to visit here as well, a few places to eat also. Id say if your looking for a romantic spot to hang out then this is a great place. It is very walkable which is always a plus for sure! I visited the spirits place and ended up spending a good amount of cash but, the drinks are very unique and the staff is very awesome!
Nemisisbeta — Google review
Very unique and beautiful buildings to walk around and enjoy the Mexican architecture here. Love the flute musician playing by the secret garden cafe. There was a newly opened underpass connecting the North and South mall, it was a nice short walk by the water.

This is a beautiful shopping center! I loved the architecture and gardens. There were so many things to see. Most of the shops were too expensive for me but they were happy to have you just look around.

I was pleasantly surprised—Tlaquepaque doesn’t feel like a mall, it feels like stepping into a charming Mexican courtyard. With cobblestone walkways, vine-covered walls, fountains, and shaded courtyards, it’s serene, beautiful, and unforgettable. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🛍 Shops & Galleries The selection is amazing. From jewelry and blown glass to fine art, pottery, and textiles, every shop feels unique and carefully curated. This isn’t about souvenirs—it’s about discovering authentic, meaningful pieces. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🖼 Atmosphere & Design The setting is what makes this place special. Serene courtyards, trickling fountains, adobe-style architecture, and sycamore-shaded walkways make you slow down and enjoy. It’s peaceful yet lively, the perfect balance. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🍴 Food, Tea & Drinks I enjoyed food, tea, and drinks here, and it all matched the atmosphere perfectly. From El Rincón’s authentic plates to The Chai Spot’s cozy tea lounge, dining feels like part of the cultural experience. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🤝 Staff & Service The people here really add to it—friendly, polite, and knowledgeable staff in both the shops and restaurants. They treat you warmly without being pushy, which makes the visit even better. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🚗 Parking The only weak spot. While parking is free, it’s limited and fills up fast during busy hours. There are overflow lots (like across at Tlaquepaque North), but you’ll likely need patience and a short walk. Rating: ⭐⭐ ✅ Overall: Tlaquepaque is one of Sedona’s true gems—a place that combines authentic Mexican courtyard charm, outstanding shops, serene beauty, great food, and welcoming staff. Parking is the only challenge, but once you’re inside, it’s pure magic.

Cathedral Rock is a famous red rock formation located in Coconino National Forest, known for its stunning views and as a popular spot for sunset photography. It is also believed to be one of the four major locations in the Sedona region where spiritual energy vortexes are present. These vortexes are said to have an impact on one's inner self, with Juniper trees near them exhibiting spiral-like growth patterns.
Wow. What a beautiful experience at Cathedral Rick on our trip to Sedona, Arizona. The climb gets tougher as you go higher, and make sure you remember the trail going up. A bit slippery on the way down. Also, a beautiful stream if you hike to your right and flatland to the left.
Karl D — Google review
There are no words. The emotions I felt getting to the top are indescribable. I truly felt the energy. The climb was difficult but well worth the entire experience. Don't forget to go to the left at the end of the trail for another part!
Amelia — Google review
Loved our experience hiking there. To be noted it is pretty steep going up and coming down, and yet totally worth the climb. 💕Beautiful scenery from the top!
Brenda G — Google review
Got there on a Tuesday morning in late Oct at 7 am. Found plenty of spots in the additional parking. The hiking is very fun and challenging! Don’t be scared of the little tunnels at the tail! It’s only a small portion of the whole trail. If you can climb up, then there is no problem going down! Turn left to find the platform at the end of the trail!
Mengyu X — Google review
We started at the Baldwin trail. Parking was $5. It was lovely, shaded and refreshing.

Watched the sunset here with my sister and it was such a memorable experience. Beautiful scenery, great views and a really nice hike. Loved this trail and the views cannot be beat.
Jacob M — Google review
The breathtaking sunset views up there are absolutely worth the effort!! It wasn’t super difficult as I was hiking in a group and I only needed to follow the footing of people in the front which helped a lot. If I were to figure out the submitting route myself, it would have been horrifying. It’s about half a mile going up with 600+ ft elevation gain. It took about 30 mins to go up and about 20 mins to go down so I recommend start descending right away after sunset(if you are here for the sunset view) to have enough date light while scrambling down. I highly, highly recommend wearing shoes with good grips as that will make this adventure much safer. Parking becomes impossible within one hour of the sunset time.

It is a short but demanding hike up some steep sections, including some rock scrambling up to the base of the cathedral rock… Spectacular views and great workout .. I highly recommend go early morning and beat the crowds…

Hiking Trails
Airport Mesa offers a diverse hiking experience suitable for all skill levels. The 3-mile loop trail around the Sedona Airport provides panoramic views of the iconic red rocks and passes by a vortex. The trail is fairly even with moderate length, making it an easy hike for most visitors. Additionally, there are basalt boulders and red rocks along the way, creating a picturesque setting for hikers to explore.
We went twice! First the day we came in to see the sunset but it was cloudy so we just saw a shadow and the 2nd time the evening before we left and what a spectacular sunset! Abundant Vortex energy. Easy parking at the top for $3. The lower area has only about 6 spaces and is free. Worth it! Oh and that same night we came back for amazing star gazing.
Uzoma O — Google review
Cool loop hike, with good views of Sedona and the surrounding rock from the trail. It's a nice way to see the area from a higher viewpoint while on a hike. Very urban, you don't ever feel you are really "in nature" but I would still recommend it as a way to get a quick visual tour of the area. Another nice place to watch the sunset without having to go very far. You can just hike up as far as you want and then sit down on the grassy hillside (some parts are more tree-covered that others).
Allan R — Google review
Beautiful. We ended every day watching the sunset and started every morning watching the sunrise. Breathtaking every time. Must do both at least once. It gets busy so show up early for both.
Kathy ( — Google review
Beautiful at sunset. Get there early so you have time to park and hike up to the top. We really felt the energy of the vortex. My friend and I were sitting beside each other and had a completely different experience. Highly recommend! When it gets dark, it gets dark so bring a headlamp. Perfect spot for stargazing!

Sights & Landmarks
Nestled in the serene landscape of Sedona, Amitabha Stupa and Peace Park is a spiritual oasis spread across 14 acres. This Tibetan Buddhist shrine, adorned with prayer flags, stands at 36 feet tall and is a place of pilgrimage for devout Buddhists who leave offerings at its base. Visitors are welcome to explore the park from dawn to dusk, where they can also find the Tara Stupa and a mahogany statue of Shakyamuni Buddha.
Oh my..what can I say, this was such a great find in the Sedona area. We trailed and circle around the temple and the Buddha statue that sits Up on the hill from the view of the temple. There are seatings just plain outdoors chairs and you can mediate or pray. I felt so lucky to have experienced it while visiting and it felt tranquil, peaceful and relaxing 😌 this is the place to be when you’re feeling down and feeling the world just doesn’t quite understand you. Take a trip there and ring them bells and messages for prayers. It’s such a beautiful place with all the different things that you can see and experience them by yourself or with someone you love.
Bella A — Google review
In Sedona, I feel this is a must see "spiritual" place. It's quiet. It's meaningful, it's special. Learn about it, experience it, go there to release your worries, pray for yourself or others, remind yourself that there can be peace within coming to a spiritual place. I go here often to find a life balance. To take my worries to release them. You have to experience it to understand.
Barbara W — Google review
A wonderful but small “peaceful” park/temple that’s open free to the public everyday. There were many religious structures and explanations of Tibetan Buddhism that were quite educational. There was a trail to explore and enjoy the serenity. Highly recommended.
Big C — Google review
This is a beautiful, serene location with amazing views of the surrounding Red Rocks. I'd recommend learning more about the history of the Amitabha Stupa and peace park before visiting. It was built keeping in mind the area's native history, and the land is recognized as holy by both Buddhists as well as the native tribes. The medicine wheel was created to honor the native American tribes like the Hopi, Apache, and the Navajo. You walk the medicine wheel to look for guidance or clarity; enter the wheel at the East opening and walk clockwise to the South. Try the prayer wheels too, spin them while walking clockwise. Similarly, many circle the stupa three times, walking clockwise. The Clockwise direction is a sign of respect and devotion and is said to follow the natural turn of the universe. The Buddha was carved out of a single piece of mahogany - a very beautiful sculpture. I learnt all this after researching before I visited as this is holy, consecrated land and I want to be respectful to the place and the people visting. Thankfully, it rained heavily the previous day and lightly on the day of my visit, so the crowds had thinned out. The rain has also led to the creation of a gushing stream of water, which added to the beauty and tranquility of the place. While most people were quiet and respectful, speaking in hushed tones, there were many yelling and talking loudly, which is not ideal in this environment. I still feel like I visited at the best time possible. This place is pet friendly, dogs to be leashed at all times, and there are no restrooms, only porta potties. A must see in Sedona, just make sure you go early maybe to avoid the crowds.
Divya T — Google review
I absolutely love Sedona, and little places like the Stupa Peace Park make it even more special. The park is beautifully maintained and clearly cared for, offering a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. There’s a nice trail and short hike leading up to the stupa, making the visit feel like a little adventure without being too difficult. The setting is serene, and it’s a wonderful spot to slow down, reflect, and just enjoy the natural beauty of the area. A lovely day trip and definitely a place I’d recommend for anyone who appreciates quiet, mindful spaces.
Shannon — Google review
Absolutely wonderful site in stunning surroundings. Peaceful space to enjoy nature, meditate and spread love and positive thoughts and vibes into the world! Highly recommend. Easy short hike up to the site from the parking lot.

Latin American restaurant
Mariposa Latin Inspired Grill is an upscale restaurant and bar offering South American-inspired cuisine, with a patio providing panoramic views. The restaurant's design is considered one of the most beautiful in the country, featuring glorious red rock views. The menu draws inspiration from Argentina and Chile, offering dishes like flaky mushroom empanadas and juicy grilled ribeye with chimichurri. Additionally, Mariposa is home to Butterfly Burger, an upscale venue for Dahl's Burger Battle competition trophies.
We went to Mariposa at night, and the drive up to the restaurant was beautiful. The setting is very classy, with gorgeous outdoor areas and a refined, contemporary feel inside—though it’s a bit on the dark side indoors. Our servers were excellent—very nice and patient as we asked lots of questions about the menu. The food overall was quite good, with some real highlights: the elote empanadas were delicious, the vaquero steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor, and the prickly pear cheesecake was lovely (though you couldn’t really taste much prickly pear). We also tried the pork chop and chicken entrées—both good, though nothing to write home about. The atún parfait was a fun and tasty starter, and Lisa’s salad was fresh, though a little heavy on the dressing. Still, nice to have some greens! Overall, a beautiful spot for a special dinner—classy atmosphere, great service, and some excellent dishes.

10/10. The service- Great. Lance was our waiter and he was very friendly! He definitely made our experience memorable. The staff was great. Making sure our glasses were never empty (water) and our table was always cleaned up consistently. The food? Outstanding. Everything tasted great. Don’t over look this place. It won’t disappoint. The whole experience is great. Make reservations! :)

Our group of six had a wonderful table outside with great views for lunch. The weather was perfect. I had a delicious Red sangria, rich and creamy Mac and cheese and flavorful yuca fries. We were celebrating birthdays and all of us received a pretty tasty ice cream with chocolate dessert. Our server was friendly and attentive. Beautiful spot and everyone enjoyed their meal. Definitely recommend and would return for sure!

Mariposa Latin Inspired Grill – Sedona Dining with a View! Mariposa is one of those rare restaurants that truly lives up to the hype — from the moment you step in, the views take your breath away. The floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Sedona’s red rocks set the stage for an unforgettable evening. The atmosphere is upscale yet welcoming — elegant without feeling stuffy, and every detail from the service to the presentation reflects thoughtful care. We started with the Empanadas, which were golden, crisp, and filled with perfectly seasoned goodness — the ideal way to begin our meal. The Lisa’s Chopped Goddess salad was fresh and vibrant, with layers of flavor that balanced beautifully. For the main course, the Vaquero steak with Yuca fries was a standout — cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful. We added chorizo, which took the dish to the next level with its smoky spice and richness. Every plate was visually stunning and tasted even better than it looked. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, and the pacing of the meal allowed us to savor both the food and the incredible view as the sun set. If you’re in Sedona and looking for a dining experience that blends breathtaking scenery, elevated Latin-inspired cuisine, and classy ambiance, Mariposa is an absolute must

From the guest list entry check to the hostess stand, you feel like you're entering an elevated experience. The venue is beautiful - the views and interior design that highlights those views. I had the sea bass it was good. I expected outstanding. The drinks and desserts were outstanding. The service was a little disappointing, especially given the fact that a heightened atmosphere is created from the moment you walk in the door. We had to ask the waiter what the specials were and then flag him when we were ready to order. He should have been checking in with us. I had to flag the assistant waiter to ask for more water for the table. This should be something they are keeping an eye on, especially given he was standing close to our table. It was also my birthday celebration, which we had to fill a questionnaire about allergies and celebrations ahead of our visit and I needed to ask if they were aware, because it was never acknowledged before I asked. I love the idea of supporting a female owned business, but I expected more.

Dinner at Mariposa was an absolutely wonderful experience. Greg, my server, provided impeccable service with thoughtful recommendations that guided my selections and pairings after we chatted about my preferences and palate. The food lived up to everything I’d hoped for — which was a high bar based on the many recommendations I’d received. Beautiful atmosphere, excellent service, and outstanding dishes. Looking forward to coming back soon.

This was my first visit to Mariposa on the first day of my first visit to Sedona. I’m so glad I made the choice to dine here! Food was exceptional, wine was excellent and the views can’t be beat. I sat on the patio but later explored the interior and feel like you can’t go wrong with seating anywhere in the restaurant. Lastly, the service; my server Molly was wonderful and I was checked on by multiple people throughout my dinner. I can’t recommend Mariposa enough!

Our dinner was remarkable. We had the best seat in the house. The server suggested we order an entree and split the sides, and it was so good to share all the food on the table, then we even split dessert. This was the most expensive dinner I've ever had, but it was so very worth it!

Mexican restaurant
Nestled within a hotel, Elote Cafe is an award-winning restaurant renowned for its inspired regional Mexican cuisine and handpicked cocktail menu. Chef Jeff Smedstad's two decades of immersive travel across southern and deep interior Mexico, combined with his Arizona roots, are reflected in the vibrant flavors of dishes like the fire roasted corn Elote, pumpkin seed crusted goat cheese balls, and braised Colorado lamb shank.
This place was recommended by our Mexican Ubee driver in Phoenix. He said if we only do one thing in Sedona, we had to visit his favorite place, so we did! We had the Elote, which was absolutely delicious l. I probably could have just done a bowl of it for dinner and had been satisfied. Pork tacos were also great. We were also happy that we got a large number of chips right as we sat down and the salsa that came with it was also really tasty. Shrimp and pork belly were good, but the dish was more quality over quantity 3-4 large shrimp and 3-4 pieces of pork with some sauce. If it weren't for our appetizers and chips, we probably would have still been hungry. Wonderful fancy place, great for a quality Mexican meal, but it's not cheap. Would definitely go again to try other things the next time we are in Sedona. Oh one last thing, you're going to want to make a reservation way in advance. They only open 5-9pm. We got there right at 5 without a reservation and was given a table with a stipulation we had to be out by 630 because our table was reserved at that time. That worked great for us because didn't want a long dinner. We ordered, ate, paid and was back on the road by 6pm. Service was very fast.
Phil — Google review
It wasn’t as delicious as I expected. Both the reviews on rednote and Google seemed a bit exaggerated. Maybe the high ratings raised my expectations too much, so the actual experience fell a bit short. The restaurant’s overall decor felt outdated, and the service staff weren’t very enthusiastic — just very basic service. As for the food, it was okay. This was my first time trying Mexican cuisine. Their pork belly taco was quite good, and the signature dish elote was tasty. However, the main dishes — the pork neck and lamb — were pretty average. The dessert was quite good and had a unique, refreshing twist.
Wj — Google review
My parents and I dined at Elote Cafe because of a recommendation from a friend of ours. We were visiting the area from California and decided to give it a try. It was easy to find thanks to Google Maps and parking was easy, despite the small parking lot. It was a busy Tuesday evening and we didn't have a reservation. The only table available right then was on the patio, which was fine by us. All of us were hungry and we didn't feel like waiting for a different table. Plus, it was a little bit loud inside for our liking. The restaurant looked very nice inside. We sat outside and were immediately greeted and given water. I feel bad because I forgot our server's name. (note to self: if you're going to do a Google review, try and acknowledge the stand out staff and remember their name!) Anyway, our server was wonderful. He memorized all the ingredients in what seemed to be every menu item! He answered questions, gave food and wine recommendations... which I took him up on by the way and the wine was really good! I'm a little spoiled when it comes to good wine, and this did not disappoint. I ordered the chicken enchiladas and they were delicious. They were made with smoked chicken. I highly recommend them! This place is really nice, food is delicious, it's a little pricey, but it's worth it in my opinion! Id return of in Sedona again.

Not your ordinary Mexican restaurant. Menu is inventive and well executed. We started with the Tamal appetizer, which I would highly recommend, and would even possibly order as my meal next time, possibly with a side. The complimentary chips and salsa were very good. I ordered the chicken enchiladas, which were delicious. My husband had the “special,” which was a tasty braised goat dish served with tortillas, which he very much enjoyed. (See pics) The service was excellent, and our waiter Omar took good care of us. Highly recommend.
Stephani G — Google review
The food here is amazing! Beginning with the salsa, which was fantastic and packed with so much flavor. The elote was good, but the tamale was the showstopper! The enchiladas were nice and spicy which I appreciate.
Urvashi N — Google review
I’ve been wanting to try Elote Café for a few years now and can never get a reso. One popped up on open table and we grabbed it last minute. The elote itself lives up to the hype—creamy & smoky, and the smoked brisket enchiladas are unforgettable. The chips & salsa are excellent, the service is warm, and the atmosphere feels upscale yet relaxed. It books up fast, but it’s worth planning ahead.

Hands down the best food we had in Sedona 🏜️! The latte was incredible, and the corn bisque, chips and salsa, and margaritas were all outstanding. I have nothing but great things to say about this restaurant. The service was amazing the staff were knowledgeable about every dish and made us feel so warm and welcome, like family. The Hudson is a chic neighborhood restaurant offering New American cuisine and cocktails in a contemporary setting. Situated near Marg's Draw Trailhead, it's known for its breathtaking views and laid-back ambiance. Guests can also enjoy signature cocktails like gin and tonics, lemon drops, cold brew martinis, and prickly pear margaritas.
An amazing Chef with high standards an excellent front of the house staff. Brooks was great. I had the Thai scallops my better half had the steak chopped salad. And we both had the deconstructed banana pie. Which we. Could have split just one. Everything was spot on. The views from the patio are majestic. Thank you from one chef to another for an excellent dining experience, one that I didn't have to cook myself. Much respect 🙏

I recommend making a reservation. Our service was very good. Tbe vegetables were delicious. I ordered pork. It wasn't cooked well enough for me. The inside was pinkish red. Otherwise, everything was lovely. The dishes were plated beautifully.

Amazing atmosphere and delicious food! We highly recommend every dish we tried, especially the meatballs, which were generous and flavorful. Jillian was our waitress and made our honeymoon dining experience even more special.

I’m surprised by how popular and recommended this restaurant is. Our drinks took forever to get to us, and were clearly watered down. It may be possible that the waiter just let the ice melt at the bar and was busy - who knows. We got the calamari (photo posted shows half, sorry!) - there was about $5 worth of calamari on the plate with a bunch of veggies on top. It was tough, chewy, and not worth the money. Forty five minutes into the meal I found two ants crawling on my hand. We sat inside, and this made my husband hesitant about the food and cleanliness of the restaurant. We got the bison burger and baked shrimp. The burger was good, nothing crazy I’d come back for. The baked shrimp was severely overcooked and tough, definitely frozen. It was however an huge portion if that’s what youre looking for. Our waiter was in a huge rush the whole night, yet didn’t clear our plates or empty drink glasses all night even though he acknowledged them. The restaurant was essentially empty so this surprised me (it also surprised me how difficult it was to get a reservation when it was empty, but I know staffing can be difficult and a factor). It was odd being in an almost empty restaurant with club music playing. Skip it if youre in Sedona.

Had a delicious meal this afternoon. The corn chowder was amazing. Hubby had the dry-aged ribeye with blue cheese and I had the filet with bearnaise. Brooks was our waiter. Never felt rushed and he checked in multiple times to see how everything was. Will definitely return.

This is our 3rd or 4th visit to The Hudson, in Sedona. We love it for the food AND for the view. Both are outstanding. Our waiter was Brett. Very good!! Listened, suggested, engaged... professional and friendly. We were seated immediately...happy because The Hudson is popular and can get crowded. Brett placed the delivery of the food perfectly, and support staff similarly removed the empty dishes at just the right time. Each dish pictured was outstanding, and I don't say that lightly or very often. When you go to this glorious Sedona you MUST include The Hudson!!

We arrived here at 7:04 pm and the person attending us at the reception told us that the wait time is 30-40 mins. We were the first ones in line followed by almost 14 people. 7 people who arrived 20 mins after us were seated before us. We were right there and listening to their conversation (1) there were no reservations made by these people (2) there were seats available for us to be seated but we were asked to wait Not sure if there is lack of education/training and basic etiquette but we definitely felt discrimination in the air. Please AVOID this place if you are a person of color. Add photos of food chicken wings were good but the rest were bland

An absolutely fantastic setting, with great views on all sides. Superb atmosphere in the restaurant and great service. Some items left a little to be desired - my Caesar's salad was a little disappointing (prob the cheese) and my wife's burger was a tad dry. Overall decent, but the views and vibe outscore the food.

Bar & grill
The Cowboy Club Grille & Spirits is a long-standing family-owned restaurant and bar in Sedona, Arizona, known for its Southwestern cuisine and cowboy-themed decor. I had the best experience here. I ordered the rattlesnake sausage and the Elk chops. They were superb. The Elk was the best cut of meat I’ve ever had. I cannot say enough good things. The service was fabulous. I sat inside and Felix was top notch. All around a unique experience and something to rave about on my trip.

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner on the patio while visiting. Our service was stellar and our server was welcoming and attentive and kept our waters filled which is a plus in the heat. They have a fantastic kids menu and my son was ecstatic that they had ribs on the kids menu which is his favorite. Cocktails were great and fun! Food was exceptional! My husband and I split the burger and the pot roast and so so good! 5 stars all around!

Make sure to try the cactus fries with the signature sauce – they are absolutely delicious! Be prepared that the meat dishes we tried were consistently on the saltier side. Also, a word for those with smaller appetites: the portion sizes here are generous. My friend and I couldn't finish our meal. Despite that, it's a great place for a hearty meal if you come hungry and share a few plates.

The Cowboy Club was a solid choice for a meetup for our group while on vacation in Sedona. We were a group of 9 and split up for the afternoon to shop and all met up there. The bartender was attentive and friendly. The drinks were yum and a few apps were had that got solid reviews. I had a prickly pear margarita which was a nice refreshing treat and a nice "local" choice. There was actually a prickly pear cactus just outside! I would recommend.

We came back here 3-4 times for cocktails and for dinner during our stay. One of our favourite spots in Sedona. Would absolutely recommend. To book you have to call up as no booking online but we just popped in and put our names down for the next night and it was a good excuse to sit at the bar and have a cocktail.

I tried Cowboy Club Grille while visiting Sedona based on a friend’s recommendation. I was craving a good, solid steak, and theirs really hit the spot—exactly what I picture when I think of a casual, satisfying steak. My friends enjoyed their meals too (baby back ribs and chicken pot pie). Overall, pretty decent and worth a try.

Great burgers and fries. I love the atmosphere in here too. Everyone was friendly who worked there. The indoor/outdoor seating was perfect!

The waiter was great (I cannot remember his name because it was very unique, but he did mention he was the one and only). He was very friendly and knowledgeable and when I mentioned I had food restrictions. He made sure to double check. Everything was OK for me to eat before I ordered it. The food tasted really great. I was especially pleased with the bison, chili and bison pot roast. The atmosphere was good very lively and very family friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in Sedona.

Breakfast restaurant
The Coffee Pot Restaurant is a popular breakfast and lunch spot located next to the iconic Coffee Pot Rock in Sedona. With over 100 omelet options, including unique choices like Zucchini, Mushroom, Spinach, Tomato and Cheese Omelet, diners can enjoy a hearty meal with crispy hash browns or other sides.
The Coffee Pot Restaurant is a true gem! The ground beef toast was absolutely amazing, perfectly seasoned and hearty, while the corned beef hash was the very best homemade, flavorful, and simply excellent. The service was attentive and friendly, making the whole experience even better. Everything was spotless and well-kept, which gave a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. On top of that, the adjoining gift shop was a wonderful bonus fun to browse after a great meal. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for delicious food, great service, and a charming overall experience!

Excellent breakfast to get you ready to start your day. Quick friendly service, quaint decor, with really good coffee. I loved that they leave the thermos with coffee on the table so you can refill hot coffee when you need it. The waffles were light and fluffy and the biscuit was amazing! Popular for a good reason.we’ll have to go back to try one of their many omlette offerings.

Everything was amazing from start to finish. My absolute favorite part was the blueberry pancakes with whipped cream—they were soft, fresh, and comforting, just like something a grandma would make with love. The flavor was rich and homestyle, making it truly unforgettable. The coffee wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but it was still acceptable and did the job. What really stood out, beyond the food, was the gift shop. While waiting to be seated, we explored it and found it to be unique, full of charming items, and surprisingly affordable. It added so much to the overall experience and made the visit feel special and memorable.

We came here twice it was delicious. The zucchini mushrooms bacon cheese omelette was our favorite. The pancakes were great they were more fluffier. Second day I tried the build your own burrito that was great also.

This is our second trip to Sedona and Coffee Pot Restaurant was just as delicious as when we visited 9 years ago. The biscuits are amazing, pancakes are fluffy and the vibe is so cute. I love the decor inside. Make sure to check out the gift shop as well. This is our go to spot for breakfast!

The Coffee Pot Restaurant was an exceptional dining experience. From the moment I went in, the service was beyond compare. My server was attentive and friendly. This place is known as the home of 101 omelettes and they’re not kidding. I decided to order the ham and cheese omelette with potatoes and a biscuit. It was delicious. Fair warning, the parking lot is small so you might have to park somewhere else. Also, this appears to be a very popular restaurant (with good reason) so the wait could be awhile. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Sedona.

The breakfast here is one of the best all around. There are 101 variety of omelets. Jack ordered 27 (sausage, bacon, mushroom, tomato) and I got 42 (bacon, mushroom, spinach), I ordered home fries and biscuit, and jack had toasts and hash browns. The food was all good!! Biscuit is so fluffy, toasts are thick and buttery, omelets are fresh and flavorful, potatoes are crispy and just right. They offered you a pot of coffee, so you can take some togo. The coffee could be better though. I love this place. Will be back here!

They really know how to take care of you here and keep the conversation cheerful as well. Jenn was our server and she was a blast. If you like a soft, sublime Belgian waffle unlike any other, then get this one here for sure. Plenty of melted butter and syrup and soft as a sponge cake. Absolutely decadent. They give you a carafe of coffee at your table as well. Both of the omelettes that we had were very tasty. They have a huge selection of omelettes (50+) as well. Everything was fresh and the conversation was great along with the food. Please treat them well and enjoy!!!
