State park
Nature & Parks
Tomoka State Park is a popular destination for camping, boating, fishing, and bird-watching. It offers access to rivers and streams and is located near other attractions like Addison Blockhouse State Park and Bulow Plantation Ruins Historic State Park. The park is nestled along the Ormond Scenic Loop and Trail, providing a scenic drive with native wildlife and unique vegetation.
A beautiful, truly Florida experience! Our camping site was shaded and close to several very clean comfort stations. The camp store was well stocked, and the gentleman running it was friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. There were several riverfront beaches to explore!
Amanda S — Google review
A nice park for a walk, plenty of bird life to see. Got there late morning and still wasn't to busy. It was good to have the store in the park and able to get water in the heat of the day. Hopefully be back next year to see the bits I missed.
William R — Google review
We camped here for our anniversary and had the best time! Loved having such friendly and accommodating people on staff. The first day we were there, we had a water issue in the site and they were able to move us to another spot. Camping spots are spacious and have all accommodations. The showers/bath houses were very clean! We also decided to kayak on the river & loved our experience. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff at the Outpost. Love this park, to stay or to visit, it's a gem! Lots of wildlife to be seen here.
Alex C — Google review
The campground is very nice. They really try to provide fun group activities to cultivate a community feel. The camp host, JT was welcoming and friendly. The restrooms and showers are older but well maintained and clean. The sites are pretty level although for bigger rigs, some would be impossible and others very challenging to to get into. I had site 43, it would be one of the harder ones to get into due to a fence around the bathroom right in front of the site. Also, that bathroom right in front my site was down for our entire trip, we had to drive to shower at night as it was a hike to the next closest bathroom.
Priscilla B — Google review
Great campsite for smaller trailers and tents. The rangers were wonderful and so informative. Nice short trails with ample shade. Fantastic spot for kayaking but pay attention to the tides and winds!
Connie M — Google review
This park is super quiet with the exception of a random vehicle on the main road that skirts the park. The staff is friendly and made several passes by the campsite every day. The campground roads are dirt but wide and maintained. The sites varies from tent size only to some pull throughs. Most sights are large enough for our 30 foot TT. There are no full hook up sights but water and 30 amp service is at every one. The dump station is at the entrance, updated and clean. The road to the “Tamoka Outpost” is paved. There you will find all your camping needs, kayak rentals, snacks and drinks. They even have their own beer on tap. This is one of our favorite parks in FL. You would never know that shopping and dining are less than15 minutes away.
Jess S — Google review
This park is awesome. We only saw four people and a turtle when we went. There were informative signs and a really cool statue. It costs five bucks to get in. Dog friendly.

A Super nice evening of live music at the Canoe Outpost. Perfect evening of campfires and libations...don't forget the Cajun peanuts, too!

Cultural center
Sights & Landmarks
Nestled along the picturesque Riverside Drive, The Casements stands as a testament to history and culture, once serving as the winter retreat for the renowned philanthropist John D. Rockefeller. This charming cultural center is celebrated for its exquisite hand-carved windows and is proudly listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Visitors can explore the Rockefeller Period Room, which showcases memorabilia from both Boy Scouts of America and Hungarian festivals, offering a glimpse into diverse historical narratives.
I was surprised to see the number of ongoing classes & events held here as well as a lovely art gallery that has rotating exhibits. You can use an app to tour the house but I highly recommend touring with one of the docents. I did a Saturday tour with Jade and it was terrific -- she was very knowledgeable, had many stories to tell, and was always open to questions. A great look at another time period in Ormand Beach.
Judy G — Google review
A visit to Ormond Beach just would not be right without a visit to the Casements. Our group of four were in the area and we convinced them it is a must see. My wife and I had been there about ten years earlier and really enjoyed it. So on a beautiful early November day we made a visit. Still very impressive with the times opulence, it was a refreshing view of history in the areas. Rooms, offices, kitchen, library, etc. One remodeled large room had pictures from the early days of racing on the beach. Paintings, sculptures, desks, an elegant coffee server. It was all very fascinating to see. Also pictures of a disastrous fire that occurred there, and has been fully restored. The tour takes about 30-35 minutes, depending on how many questions you might have. The docent was very well versed on all the aspects of the home and the history. Hard to imagine being the richest man in America and being able to live in this fine house in the Winter. After the tour, I made a donation to the Historical Society thar do the excellent tours. And my wife made a separate donation by purchasing a necklace from the gift shop.

A very pleasant & knowlegeable team welcomed us in just an hour before closing and helped us make the most of our short visit to this JD Rockefeller mansion preserved by the City of Ormand Beach.
David F — Google review
Very nice tour guide named Paula took us through all the rich history of the city of Ormond Beach, the Rockefeller family, the Flagler story and Vanderbilt family. This was Rockefeller’s summer home in his prime. Definitely worth the visit. The walk through was about an hour long.
Deeanna R — Google review
I had a nice tour here. The setting is beautiful what you would expect in the south; huge live oaks trees with Spanish moss floating in the branches. In the front of the Mansion is the Halifax River and the setting sun ended a perfect day. It's used for events so I attended a cooking class here. They had local artists pictures displayed on the walls. There's a lot of history about Rockefeller. It's renovated nicely.
Susan F — Google review
TheFEEL, standing in the wings readying to perform at the Casements. What a gorgeous room to be in, so many different settings emerge under one roof. Magical friendliness fills the air. A great place to be.
Jeff L — Google review
Lydia was an amazing tour guide. The Rockefeller and Flagler history was amazing. The location on the river has great views. Free parking in the lot next door. Street parking is also available. The decor of the home was amazing. You can only see half of the second floor and the third floor if you are on the tour. The tour is free but a donation is customary. The house is owned by the city.

Art museum
Museums
Ormond Memorial Art Museum & Gardens is a serene and inspiring destination in Ormond Beach, offering a blend of art and nature. The museum showcases works by local and national artists, while the landscaped memorial garden pays tribute to World War veterans. Open daily, the garden provides a peaceful retreat for visitors from dawn till dusk. Admission to the indoor art museum is free, with donations supporting the maintenance of the grounds and the mission of providing a welcoming venue for local artists.
Many sculptures inside and out, very walkable trails w/stairs, bridges and plenty of benches. Not very large and that may not be a bad thing. Take your time through the trails and you will find there is a lot of up and down that may tire you on a hot day. Enjoyable stops throughout, may have an overpopulation of turtles. Still, was cute to see the tiny ones swimming around. Entry is free, they run on donations and what they do sell in their gift shop is reasonably priced. Definitely add to your list and check out for yourself for a quick or reflective visit!
Daniel R — Google review
Visited the Ormond Memorial Art Museum & Gardens today and I’m absolutely enchanted! The gardens are a magical oasis, with adorable turtles, singing bamboo, and a serene vibe that feels like a cool escape even in 30°C /88 F heat. The tropical plants, waterfall, and butterfly areas are pure delight. The Free Little Art Gallery was such a charming touch! The museum itself is a gem, showcasing beautiful artwork and a warm community spirit. Highly recommend this hidden treasure for anyone seeking art, nature, and tranquility. Will definitely return!

Loved this museum and gardens so much..not big comparing some of the other gardens we been to but really amazing to see the beauty of the gardens and the paintings in the museum..lot of parking available, well maintained, clean bathrooms, great collection of plants and trees, lovely turtle pond, awesome waterfall, and no admission fees. We would love to visit again in the future.

Beautiful museum inside and out.I Ioved the local featured artist exhibits. There's a gift shop inside, museum is free but donations are accepted. Free parking available also. I went during high peak of the sun but walking around outside wasn't too bad with all the shade and trees. There's a beautiful waterfall here and even saw some turtles enjoying the sun.
Ashley S — Google review
Small museum which showcases one artist. The gardens are lovely and have water pumped through ravines, there are man-made Hills and stair. Some beautiful trees and many flowers. It is a great place for a wedding.
Cheryl B — Google review
The little botanical garden area outside was beautiful! The FEW paintings I did get to see where gorgeous! However there was only 1 room with maybe up to 10 paintings in open and that was it. This was not something I saw on their website. Had i known a huge part of the museum was closed because of the exhibit change in might have not gone until it was reopen.

Amazing variety of trees bushes flowers. Must go when the sun is shining to see over 100 turtles getting some sun

First time visit. Nice park. Dogs loved it. Only.about half mile long, better than nothing though. Recently passed acceptance of dogs on beach here. Vilano beach (just above St Augustine) still our favorite. I didn't like that Beach Patrol drove right past 2 vehiclel parked past designated area. Beyond the posts. Good thing the sea turtles iare not nesting in this area.

Easy to find parking here. It is a fun and beautiful beach. You will not be disappointed. The splash zone area is a blast.

Go somewhere else in the mornings. Sadly the bird bread feeder people have ruined the mornings there. All you can hear is birds screeching and birds pooping EVERYWHERE. You can't be anywhere near there or you'll leave with shoulder decorations. I tried talking to the feeder ladies, and explaining that feeding them bread was bad for the birds (look it up) and is a public nuisance for the sanitation of the area, but they don't care. Every morning they are there. Feeding. For HOURS. Please please someone get them to chill it a little so others can enjoy the beach park at sunrise also. It's a beautiful park and beach the other times. And the bathrooms are nice.

This scenic trail takes you through state parks, island dunes, rivers, creeks, and historical sites. Additionally, there's a 34-mile byway leading to the north of Ormond Beach with oceanfront views and unspoiled native vegetation.
Beautiful and peaceful drive with amazing views of nature. Perfect for a relaxing ride or walk! 🌿

We drove the Ormond Scenic Loop Trail just to take in the sights, but honestly, it wasn’t much different from the rest of the Florida scenery. Considering we went out of our way to see it, it felt a bit underwhelming. That said, if you're looking for a peaceful spot to bike, jog, or get outdoors away from the city, this would be a nice option. Probably better experienced on foot or by bike rather than just driving through.

The indoor grill serves New American eats while the outdoor space boasts a tropical beach vibe with live music.
One of the BEST eateries/drinkeries in Florida! How the hell can you not love a place where Mel, our waitress, takes a selfie with her face in it when I asked her for our photo? The burger was delicious and the mac salad was THE BEST ever! Great open air Tiki decor... We loved this place!

We had an office party for eight people at Kona yesterday at 5 PM. We were greeted by a wonderful host followed by an awesome ambassador Luis/“Wicho”. Our server Trevor was also introduced to us & was a star all night. The drinks were great. The appetizers were on point and our entrées were solid. I highly recommend.

1st time visiting. Went early on a weekday to avoid the crowd & parking issues. Steak bite appetizer is to die for! I added onions and mushrooms for $1 extra each. The entree was ok but not really good. The Bloody Mary I expected so much more but it was just a regular, average Bloody Mary. Service was ok when the bartender paid attention but was mostly distracted by eating & talking to a friend. Seems like a cute place w/a very diverse menu. Gluten free pizza options are a bonus. A bit pricy for what you’re getting. 4 stars may be a bit generous but I’ve only been once soooo I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt.

We sat inside, chill vibe, good service and comfortable seating. Outside they have a nice tiki bar. We had a Bloody Mary, the funky chicken, and a poke nachos. Great tasting food!

Once a bed and breakfast, it was frequented by VIP visitors seeking privacy away from Henry Flagler's Ormond Hotel. Lovely dinner stop. Service was great. Quick actually with fantastic specials. Shrimp and grits felt like home. Really enjoyed this so much and wish we lived closer because I would be there once a week if I were local. Such a cute place. Perfect for date night or meeting friends.

The food was sooo great! Lobster Mac and cheese, Chicken pot pie and deviled eggs were bomb! Was a little put out by the parking as they had cones up into their parking lot so we couldn't park in there. We ended up parking along the street down a little ways. Will definitely go back again! Almost want to give 4 stars because of the parking, but...I won't. If you have to have reservations, there should be parking! Just saying. The parking lot wasn't being used for customers.

Rose Villa – A Truly Memorable Experience From the moment we arrived at Rose Villa, everything was absolutely wonderful. We chose to sit in the festive and romantic gazebo on the back porch, where we were treated to live music by Rex, an incredibly talented musician. Rex is not only gifted with his guitar but also a true gentleman—warm, personable, and full of authentic wisdom. His presence made our brunch feel extra special. Our server, Sarah, deserves her own standing ovation. Hailing from Valdosta, Georgia, she embodied true Southern hospitality from start to finish. Attentive, kind, and full of charm, Sarah elevated the entire dining experience with her genuine care and warm personality. And then, of course, the food—simply amazing! The chef has crafted unique takes on classic favorites that will leave you wanting more. The deviled eggs, topped with pork belly and a sweet pepper medley, were a showstopper. My avocado toast with a perfectly poached egg was fresh and flavorful, while my wife’s crab Benedict was another absolute hit. If you’re visiting Daytona or Ormond Beach—especially if you’re with someone you love—make sure to stop by Rose Villa for Sunday brunch. Between the incredible food, the unforgettable atmosphere, Rex’s soulful music, and Sarah’s outstanding service, it’s more than just a meal—it’s an experience you’ll treasure. We will absolutely be back every time we’re in town!

Wow, wow, and wow from moment you arrive at the front door of this magical place. Suggest you make an online reservation as we did since they were pretty busy on a Wednesday evening. Menu covers all you might want to consider, but the execution by the kitchen blew us both away. Started with a cup of the 6-onion soup special and the pork belly over biscuits. Pork belly heaven for me and those biscuits were like little pillows. Mains were the perfectly seasoned jambalaya and the fried chicken. That fried chicken was a double wow and my wife declared the collards as life changing. Our wait person Millie brought out some warm biscuits with honey butter. Oh no....make me eat more of these perfect biscuits? We will be back and highly recommend that everyone dine here. Our server Millie was personable and in Maine we would call her a keepah.

I Love this restaurant, especially the decor and history of it! Staff is very pleasant, food is always great. Nice restaurant if you want to get dressed up for a special occasion, Birthday, Anniversary. There are so few places around like this such a treasure. So Leave your baseball caps and shorts/flip-flops home this is a place to shine up a bit and enjoy a special night out.
L K — Google review
This place is the real deal in downtown. Outstanding service to start is exactly how to start a great brunch experience and they delivered. Started with the Biscuit basket and that was a green light to flavor town. Four perfect biscuits with honey butter, fruit chutney, and pimento cheese. All was very good, but I would buy a jar of the fruit chutney. I went with the shrimp and grits and was completely satisfied with my choice. It was loaded with flavor and texture with super creamy grits from the goat cheese with an added tangy taste. The wife had to go with the Signature Fried Chicken wing and breast and she was a winner winner chicken dinner. If you had a grandma from the south who made fried chicken she works here now. I’m not playing on this fried chicken, we will be back for just that. If you’re traveling from north to south Florida stop in. If you’re coming to Daytona check it out. This is a destination fried chicken. Great value with outstanding service and add some epic eats at this place. ✌️😎

Stonewood Grill & Tavern is a stylish chophouse chain that offers surf 'n' turf, wine, and cocktails in a trendy dining room and bar. It's an ideal spot for special occasions with family and friends or corporate events. The Ormond Beach location provides exceptional service and a packed happy hour with delicious drink specials and appetizers. With its accommodating event space, it's perfect for hosting various gatherings.
We loved the food. Everything was excellent. We had not been there in awhile and looks like they nicely remodeled the front entrance. One request is that they adjust the front step from the parking lot to the door. There’s a caution sign but it’s still a high step. My older mother had difficulty. Besides that the food and service was excellent and our server Luke was Thee Best!

Honestly a really good spot to visit when coming to the area. The culinary team makes everything in house. The drinks were delicious and the service was amazing. I had the chopped steak with the whipped garlic mash and crispy onions. All the flavors complimented each other great. The only thing I can say is that the actual meat need a bit more seasoning. But everything makes for so many reasons to return and enjoy another meal

We try to find new places to go when we go out. And so glad we picked here. Our server Luke gave us the most amazing service! And his hospitality was extraordinary. The food was spot on in temperature, taste, and freshness. Recommend trying the "B.L.A.S.T". For the steak, the flavor was spot on. Not overbearing with seasoning. So if out for a nice dinner for the night, highly recommend to eat here. Prices are fair. The atmosphere was pleasant, and ask for Luke for a server. You won't be disappointed!! Oh and don't forget dessert!

Me and my husband are visiting and we are staying right across from stonewood. We are SO happy that we decided to try it. We both got the bourbon bacon jam burger and it was the best burger we've both every had. The bacon jam was AMAZING and the whipped garlic mashed potatoes where just the best thing I've ever had the pleasure of eating. Our server, Micheal was extremely attentive and very very nice and helpful. We definitely will be visiting whenever we're in town, and I will be telling everyone I know about how amazing the food and service was 😊

We're here on vacation, and decided to check this place out. So glad we did. We got the Buffalo Shrimp, Sirloin topped with blue cheese and garlic mashed potatoes. And the guave bbq salmon. The food did not disappoint. The shrimps were to die for, just the right amount of buffalo suace to blue cheese ratio and absolutely loved that it was lightly breaded. The salmon was perfectly cooked with a bit of char that I absolutely loved, and that rum-infused quava bbq sauce was delicious. The Sirloin was cooked exactly as we wanted(mid-rare), and blue cheese on a steak is always a hit, and the homemade garlic mashed potatoes were some of the best I have ever had. Our server was also nice, fast, and efficient. Would definitely recommend this place, and will try again if I am ever in the area again

Great little donut place. They only have cake donuts, but they were very good. They had lots of flavors and toppings. They do serve coffee drinks as well. I just had a regular coffee, and it was good. If you're in the neighborhood, I highly recommend you stop in and try a donut.

Donnie's Donuts - They said you have to visit this place next time you are in the area. Well we stopped in last week and picked up several dozen donuts to take back to the hotel and enjoy. Donuts are good and they have lots to choose from in their lineup. My favorite was the maple bacon with my coffee. The grandkids loved the fruity pebbles donuts with chocolate milk on the beach. I really wished they just had a plain blueberry without all the sugar on it as the cake part was amazing with that donut but way to much sugar. Do stop by and give them a try for yourself if in the area. They have 3 locations to serve you.
RICHARD B — Google review
We have an excellent donut shop where we live, so we are harsh critics when it comes to donut shops. Most all other donut shops are disappointing, because they just don't compare in taste or selection. This is a very simple, but cute, modern donut shop. The donuts are actually quite delicious! I wish we wouldn't have waited until our last day to try them! The strawberry shortcake donut was to die for, and the hot chocolate is worth a try. You can even design your own donut, and they will make it exactly how you want it, so the donut options are endless. The staff was helpful, and friendly. We will have this place on our list of stops during our next trip to the Daytona beach/Ormond area. Donnie's Donuts live up to their "Vintage donut, modern charm" slogan for sure. Such a cute place. This place is also accessible from the road behind the shop, and in front of the shop, and there is plenty of parking. No indoor dining at this time still due to C-19, but there are a few picnic tables outside open for use.

Butter beer donut and Velvet Queen iced coffee was amazing! We are only here for 3 days and we will be back tomorrow for breakfast. If you are in the Ormond beach area do yourself a favor and sample this gem!

Isn’t Daytona the luckiest?! It has the best donut shop in the country. I freakin love this place. I first tried their donuts in 2016 when I was visiting from NYC, now I am back in 2018 and I had to get my husband to drive an hour away from our place to get me these. They aren’t like your regular gross looking donuts at Dunkin’ or any other bakery shop. The dough in these is amazing! Then they have every freaking choice available you can think of. Don’t believe those that say it is expensive, it is not! 2 delicious donuts for less than $4?!, and or those that say it doesn’t taste good, the taste is amazing! Trust me, you’ll love them. Plus the staff is super kind, and the owner herself has served us both times we’ve been, and we feel treated with a lot of respect every time, because she is very kind and informative. I wish they had more locations, because it is far from us to get to, but every time we go we get 12 and finish them in a day or two. Hands down, the best donut shop!!!

Best donuts in Ormond Beach, best in Volusia County, in fact I'd put these up against any in the state and I'm confident they'd top the list. They're cake donuts, with very creative toppings I go for the vegan donuts, served on Friday and Saturday only. Friendly service too, plus it's a great family owned business.

31 Supper Club is an upscale dining venue located in Ormond Beach, Florida. The restaurant offers a traditional setting with 1930s art deco decor and provides a unique experience with live music, dancing, and comedy on select nights. It serves a variety of steak and seafood dishes along with specialty cocktails. The establishment also features artwork by Frederick Dana Marsh, paying tribute to the local area's history.
I celebrated my birthday at 31 Supper Club with 26 friends and family members, and it was an unforgettable night! The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, making everyone feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was absolutely delicious—every single guest complimented their meal. Dana and Sharon are truly talented entertainers with amazing energy. They created such a fun, vibrant atmosphere and made sure to acknowledge every celebration in the room. We ate, sang, danced, and laughed all night long. Thank you to the entire team at 31 Supper Club for helping make my birthday so special. Highly recommend!

Such a retro restaurant with delicious food and fantastic music. The band played non-stop all throughout our dinner. We were a part of 8 and our table was right in front of the band. Most large parties sit in the back. This place had fantastic seating throughout the restaurant though. Definitely get for date nights too as the dancing was spectacular. Cocktails were delicious and the service was excellent.

Our group of 23 had well planned for reservations on a Monday evening dinner @6:30. We arrived and I liked the vibe of the space. Seating is comfortable, they have different seating options, an indoor and outdoor bar. There was no live entertainment on Monday night but there were stage areas inside and out and I can see this being a really fun place. Our drink orders were taken promptly and arrived a short time later. The same person did also take our dinner orders and they had agreed to do individual checks prior to our arrival (and got the check right including drink orders at the end of the night). Where there was a breakdown was after our dinner orders were placed. Food arrived to the group over a 40 minute window. My steak had been cooked perfectly but had dried out being kept warm. The expensive fish was an increasingly small portion. The presentation on the plates was excellent but it seemed the kitchen had been overwhelmed. It was almost over three hours later when our checks arrived and we all avoided dessert because of the fear of a long wait. We also don’t know what happened to our original waitress who we never saw after taking drink orders.

31 Supper Club is an absolute gem! The food is incredible. The lobster mac and cheese to die for. Their cocktails are creative and delicious! I decided to try something different, after all its not every day you hear of a ceaser Salad Martini! Ceaser Salad Martini! It was awesome! Good bye dirty martinis! I also had a toasted marshmallow Martini, superb! The service is off the charts. Every single need was there before I even had to ask. My car was waiting for me at the exit when I left, doors open, valet helping me in, world class service. Truly an all around top notch experience.

We were in town for work and popped in based on dinner and music posts. We came in on a Wednesday which wasn't very busy, but we were sold with the service. Maria is a gem and she deserves all the accolades. She provided A+ service and had all the best recommendations. We ended up staying for music on the patio and loved the entertainment. Sharon's energy was palpable. All the staff were hustling and providing a great experience. Bonus was that it's a cigar friendly patio. We ended up back another night just for apps and drinks because my husband is a cigar aficionado and not many places are friendly. Come check out this hard working team!

This is probably my favorite dinner theater ever! The decor of the place screams early 1930's... There's a small cast of characters that introduce themselves and setup a murder mystery premise while you order your food and wait for it to arrive... Then, one of the cast gets murdered, and each separate table discusses amongst themselves who might be the culprit... as the actors wander around and interact with the guests and have their own show-related dramas for all to witness as they're eating.... and then at the end, each table tries to guess "who done it", and all the tables get prizes for participating. It was a wonderful experience! Highly recommend!!

Great atmosphere at 31 Supper Club in Ormond Beach! The live music and dining made for a perfect night out. Maria was our waitress and she was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right. Loved the cigar-friendly patio, too. Highly recommend!

The Supper club has a beautiful ambiance and a well-executed design concept. Our server was very knowledgeable about the bar menu and recommended several amazing drinks. We only ordered an appetizer — the Creole bacon-wrapped shrimp. The shrimp were well-cooked and flavorful, though the dish lacked the Creole spice and boldness I was expecting. We didn’t end up ordering a main dish since the venue was quite busy. It seemed they were a bit understaffed, especially considering the special guest they were hosting that evening. I plan to return soon and hope to try some menu items that caught my eye
