I was on vacation but didntbl want to miss mass. Found this church and it was very welcoming. The priest was wonderful, you could hear and understand him. The church is right off A1a.

Found this church while staying in area for Winter.People were very friendly ,mass was wonderful and it was nice to see their school children attend Wednesday mass.

It was a barbecue after the 11:00 service. Everything was excellent and the people are also kind and very friendly!!

The people are very friendly, and the deacon gave a very nice homily.

This church adheres to the Catholic traditions that I grew up with. It's not about pomp and circumstance. It's about reverence and worship. The Liturgy is sacred here, as was intended from the beginning.

Great people and staff. They are always welcoming. The fish fry was a blast with professional music and service. Hulls seafood supplied all the fish with Mr Hull cooking himself. What a selfless service he provides. All in all, I'm proud to call this my church.

Visited the food pantry for the first time. The people were kind and loving. Hard times can fall on everyone or should I say anyone. If you find yourself in this situation..know this is a welcoming, understanding place to lay your burden and receive a little help be it spiritual or if your cupboards a little low. Reach out ..but never forget the hand is not just for receiving.

Moved here 12 years ago from Northern Virginia DC area. And I tried different churches but 4 years ago I came back to Prince of Peace Father Bill was just leaving shortly after. I love Father Justin I love Father Francis He retired last year. It's a friendly church it's nice church it's traditional. I don't want to see people drinking coffee during mass. When your race Catholic from the time you're young and all the way through it's traditional. Non-denominational churches do a lot of that drinking coffee in church I don't get it? You're there to pray to have community with your neighbors around you and listen to this gospel you're there for God. You can have coffee and donuts aftermath. The friendliest church I've been to in 12 years I love it I'm never going anywhere else. And I love volunteering in the thrift shop I do every Tuesday we could always use an extra hand. But the girls there are great. So do give us a try and if you're already member we would love to have you volunteer and work in a thrift shop with us if you would consider it. Actually you get some really cool finds there that's the best part I think of working there besides the nice ladies.

Very nice church. Despite what I read in another review, all are welcome. There was nobody drinking coffee… I’ve been to Catholic Churches in several different states… and a few in Florida and I have never seen anyone bring coffee to Mass. The female couple next to me were sweet, and nobody escorted them out. I would highly recommend attending a Mass here. Thank you, Father.

This place offers food pantry. I went there last Friday Feb 28/2025 to grab some food and also took my friend who is sick and unemployed to grab some as well. That day there was a woman who seemed to be from Asia that was so unkind and didn't give me any food since my brother had been there in the morning. My bad, i didn't kniw that. However, she stated that they were running out of food because of people like me. I just decided to wait outside. My friend stayed there waiting to get some food. To my surprised I saw him really mad arguing with the woman who didn't give him food either. I don't know what really happened between them. What I can say is that if we go for food is just cause we need it. I'd like to recommend people uncharged in food pantry to be more patient and tolerant. They do a lovely labor and there are too many people who need a helping hand. I won't go to that place for food pantry anymore 😔😔😔

I do my best to make it everyday to Mass 12:10 p.m. everybody's very friendly. Sundays are a blessing... I hope everybody would consider coming to church with no pressure.

Beautiful, spirit-filled church. I attend their 7:30am Mass whenever I'm in town for a weekend.

The adoration chapel is truly beautiful and reverent. I love all the quotes about the Eucharist on the windows and the icons on the ceiling are lovely. Another worshipper came up to me as I was about to leave and told me she had taken this photo of my baby and me as I prayed, and asked if she could email it to me. Her kindness touched my heart and along with the Most Blessed Sacrament, reminded me of Jesus' love for me.

My sister Julia ross ranson never miss a service unless sick she stay with me until her daughter came and got her found out she have dementia and no one from the congregation but one brother came by when she was with me she lives out of town now I am more upset at the minitster she been their two years no one ever call her but thank God she,s doing well

As one of the ministers at the church I may be partial, but the members are some of the most loving, friendly Christians I've ever met. Great preaching, teaching, and worship. Would love to meet you!

Not a church you want to be at. They support the NRA and they are gun lobbyist. When selecting a church Choose wisely. I can't ever attend an alt right conservative church again. The people act as if they're all that and they use God as an excuse for their stupidity.

We where on bicycles and it was 90 degrees and we just wanted some water and a woman comes out of the back and when she seen us she ran inside and wouldn't open the door. Not very Christian like. What if Jesus was hot and he wanted water she would probably do the same thing.

the pastor claims to be an apostle and is a televangelist the church is filled with plain clothes security and the pastore lives in fear obviously because he is surrounded by security. "oh yee of little faith the lord protects" if he had any faith he wouldn't have or need security. he acts like a famous person pretending to be a pastor and pretending to have faith in the lord. he meets with ppl after church with his security surrounding him in plain clothes trying to pretend not to be security and when you meet him if your not praising him or if he isnt what you talk about he has his security very politely as not security move you along.

Great parking - Friendly & lively greeters. Powerful prayer happening when we came into the sanctuary lead by the senior pastors wife. Pastors and worship team seem to be open and welcoming to the gifts of the Spirit. This alone is enough to make me come back… the worship was beautiful and lovely to engage in. The messages have been powerful. Altar calls given and the pastors heart for the lost.. beautiful to see. Today was our third visit and a touching performance play on Amazing Grace. Seems the outreach to the community is amazing as well from the videos and the invite and opportunity to get involved from an outreach pastor ( Jen I think) I can see why they are at 27 years or so in ministry here and thriving. The heart of Jesus is evident in this body of believers.

This review is for the facility not the church. We attended a Gaither Vocal Band concert here. The seating was comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. Also there was plenty of parking.

This was my first time attending and I felt welcomed wholeheartedly!!! The church is maybe 75% black which was refreshing!!! I’ve never had that experience and I feel it was important for the children to feel faith around diversity! Extremely happy with the intensity of the service. 👉🏿One recommendation: FREE COFFEE. 👈🏻 We have not been to a loving church that DID NOT offer complimentary coffee!😿 Coffee is inexpensive, why wouldn’t you have such a simple, delightful treat that puts a SMILE on praising faces? That was baffling but, nonetheless, we plan to return next Sunday for the BRAND NEW Kids center bldg!

An absolutely incredible church. A church led by the best, most genuine pastors and leaders you’ll ever meet. A church that stands on God’s word, loves people, is spirit led and spirit driven. They have great a children’s ministry too. This church has my highest recommendation!

I love Calvary Christian Center. I discovered this place during a very dark period in my life. The Pastors are very knowledgeable and inspiring. They’ve really helped me find my way back to Christ 😌

Somebody please explain to me considering the only time between the four books Jesus allows himself to be seen untempered was for the exchange of monetary funds in the Fathers house did you allow yourselves to become hardened in your hearts thinking you are exempt from the wrath of God? Nay, you truly deceive yourselves. It's the only time he allowed himself to be seen this way. Lord! Lord... Did we not prophecy in your name? And in your name cast out devils? This place has great potential to help if you want to make a change in your life. They need more funding, they are understaffed and I hope they can make some changes within this facility. It looks a little rough from the outside but inside it's clean and they have some great staff members. To them I want to say thank you for doing a great job!! Unfortunately,I have to mention the bad apple with the title of Clinical Supervisor Greg. Shame on you Greg.

I have a low opinion of Daytona Beach's Salvation Army. They only allow people who need shelter to stay free for 3 nights and then they charge $10 per night per person. That's not very charitable. I'm sure they get a good income from Florida's Dept. of Corrections for housing some of their people who are in a program, so they get a good income (like a business would). Salvation Army in some cities have free shelters but not so in Daytona Beach. And when they housed a lot of the homeless in 2016 for 6 months, they got paid good money from the city/county to do so -- thousands every month. This wasn't charity but was a source of income for them.

This place I not providing Homeless assistance. The only program they have forces people to go to church and to work for free on a roadside clean up crew from 7am to 11am. They aren't allowed out past 9pm so they have almost 0 chance of getting a real job to better their situation unless someone is hiring for a 12pm to 8pm shift. The city is paying the "Salvation" Army to provide labor and they are both taking advantage of the homeless for profit/savings.

They are VERY RUDE. The man who answered the phone had an agitated tone and it was 9:55 in the morning. He wasn’t polite at all. Must have woke up on the wrong side of the bed. But for the homeless person that called who doesn’t have a bed to wake up on the wrong side it was very rude.

Yeah right. The first night is free, and then it's ten bucks a night after, up to fourteen days... After those fourteen days, ya can't come back for NINETY DAYS!!! And this is the only shelter in Daytona. Jeez...

Very mean to me , I'm not someone to complain but there were two black ladies working and I never need help hardly, they were so rude I would rather starve than be treated like this.

Today I had Thanksgiving dinner at the Salvation Army...It was very special to me.I have cancer and I see it being my last...Thank you for everything you do..God bless you

A beautiful and comfortable shul with daily minyunim and a beautiful Mikva on premises.The community here is very welcoming and warm. Lots of parking spots on the right side of the building

My family have been going here since 2010 and this place is amazing! Rabbi Ezagui is the most amazing Rabbi in Florida. He is very caring and has the most awesome personality that a Rabbi needs. P.S. Looking for some spirituality swing on by on Shabbos!

This CHABAD Shul in Ormond Beach, Florida is very warm and inviting. It is approximately 15 minute walk from our kosher home in the area. The rabbi is very nice and welcoming. There is also Shabbos day meals available for any guests. Please arrange with the rov in advance and make sure to leave a generous donation.

There is no finer place for Jewish people to feel like they are at home than with Rabbi Ezagui and his wonderful wife, Chani. A unique environment fostered by unique people who treat you like family, no matter who you are.

It’s a shame that 0 stars isn’t an option. I only ever attended Riverbend church services twice in my life back in 2014 with my husband, who had grown up in the church. I did not like it either time that I had gone (I might have been biased based on the horror stories my husband had shared with me, but it also could have been because I was not welcomed by the members nor did I feel as if I was wanted there when I went.) I am beyond happy to see that the Ormond Beach Police Department is getting involved in the investigation of this church. Nothing would please me more than to see Riverbend be shut down. Just like all of the other mega-churches, warped people in positions of power taking advantage of the vulnerable and the lost. Before the Sunday morning sermon delivers a message to the congregation that these Google reviews are an attack from Satan in an attempt to weaken your faith, consider looking at the information I have attached to this review to determine who the Devil in this situation really is.

The recent exposure of all the wrong doings and cult like behaviors coming to light has made me happy! For years I have said this “church” was a cult and something needed to be done. Luke 8:17 comes to mind. I hope that everyone involved with the wrong doings and scandals are held accountable. I also hope the victims can find healing and composure.

I was raised in this church. Riverbend teaches that women having autonomy and voting defies God’s design, and that compassion for immigrants or LGBTQ+ people is distorted thinking. That’s not biblical truth, it’s control dressed up as doctrine. If you’re a woman, queer, or simply human with a conscience, be warned: this place will call your dignity rebellion. To those still inside, especially the women and kids: you’re not wrong for questioning. There is life, faith, and freedom beyond this.

We came to the area on vacation several years ago and visited this church. What a Bible teaching church it is. Little did we know that 2 years later we would move here and become a part of this body of believers. Now after being here for a year we can’t imagine any other place we would rather be. My new family! Like my wife and I, if you are visiting the area, we welcome you to join the weekly celebration of Jesus.

Do you ever wonder if these reviews are actually written by real people? Well, I am a real person and this was a real experience. Read carefully. I certainly wish zero stars was an option. This cult ALMOST destroyed my life. What started as a friendly, welcoming community quickly turned into manipulation, control, and emotional abuse. They isolate, manipulate; eventually causing you to doubt your own reality. This place and its leadership stripped every ounce of self-worth I had. I spent my entire teenage years in a constant state of severe anxiety and depression, fully believing I was a worthless, waste of a human being. Waking up on a daily basis was a massive feat, feeling a constant gnawing deep in my core. They even told us depression was a sin and it was a sin to seek help (in the form of counseling/therapy) outside of the pastoral staff. I missed out living and enjoying 15 years of my life because of this place. Every aspect of my life—relationships, career, mental health—suffered because of their toxic influence. I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars on therapy and TMS therapy to get over the havoc Riverbend wreaked in my life. Now in my mid-30's, I finally have a purpose and genuinely love who I am as a person. If you're considering getting involved, run in the opposite direction. They prey on vulnerability, under the guise of "biblical teaching" but all they deliver is fear and dependence. Some will say this place has changed, but a lot of the younger generation of past leadership is making its way back in, so proceed with caution. As for you Riverbend, you thought you got me, but you didn't. Never again will I allow someone to dictate my worth or tell me how to live my life.

These people are so kind. The Pastor greeted me with a hug, acknowledged me as a first time visitor, even though I had been there one time before, but he and his wife were on a mission or something like that. You could feel the power of the Lord the second you stepped through that door. It overwhelmed me and I was crying the rest of the time. I needed that cleansing, I needed to FEEL the love of Christ, I am going through a rough patch, this Pastor and his congregation are LIVING the Word and it shows. Went here for a family funeral. The seating was more than enough for us. The service held for it was nice and the, sermon was uplifting. There was a reception hall that we went to that was spacious enough for the family and friends after the burial. Also I noticed that there looks to be a school and book store here. Way more to it that it looks.

I’ve been looking for a church like this for many years and pulled up yesterday and spoke with the pastor and I found my new church went today and the love I felt and the praise was just amazing Thank you I’ll be back next Sunday and many more God willing ❤️

Westside Baptist Church is a Great & friendly Church. We have a good choir & music director, there is a Sunday school class for All ages. You could not find a better Pastor & wife, always greets you personally. The sermons are easy to understand. We have a Sunday evening service at 6:30 P.M. I visited several churches in Daytona Beach when I moved to town a year ago. I found Westside to be absolutely the MOST FRIENDLY. I also love the passionate Bible Based Preaching that Pastor Bob gives us. It is a great church family. Great music and Exciting Worship!

Great Church, truly enjoy Brother Bob preaching and teaching the Bible. Holy Sprit lead church, we got to visit with them one time on vacation was a great time pray to do it again sometime. Friendly church family make a person fill at home. I do get to watch it online almost every Sunday, love y’all and keep up the great work of God, at Westside Baptist in Daytona.

I visited this church twice (two Sundays in a row). The teaching was good. So was the worship (contemporary Christian - like Joy FM). It was too dark to read my Bible or take note unless I used electronics. I saw no one else with a Bible - of course that doesn’t mean they weren’t there. The environment reminded me of a nightclub. Dark with blue lights. No diversity in the congregation, so I stood out, but still wasn’t acknowledged by anyone. On one visit the pastor asked visitors to meet him after church, but members dominated his time. I even stayed after for a fellowship event where I was visibly looking for someone for more information about an announcement made, but no one acknowledged my presence or offered to help me so I left and have not returned. Some of the things I look for in a church is a spirit of love, hospitality and freedom in praise. Unfortunately, I didn’t find it here. This is not condemnation, just my personal experience.

Simple no nonsense church. Not a mega church. Not pretentious. Not "judgy". Go in, sing, listen to a sermon, go home.... No iconography, no b.s. just come as you are whoever you are wherever in life you are......as it should be.

I’ve attended Oasis for years and even brought my family here, it had it's issues, but believed it was a place rooted in compassion and community. But when my father passed away, I was met with cold bureaucracy instead of genuine care. I left a message about holding his funeral service. The response? A voicemail saying they might be able to help if they had time—followed by a rental application. Everything came with a price tag: the space, the chairs, the audio equipment, the screens—even the pastor. In stark contrast, my brother’s funeral—held at my former church in another state—was handled with true pastoral care. The pastor didn’t hesitate. He gave a beautiful service, encouraged a slideshow to honor my brother’s life, and offered the church space for the post-service gathering—all at no cost. When I later spoke with another local church and explained what had happened at Oasis, they immediately expressed sorrow, prayed with my mother and me, and said they’d be honored to help, membership or not. The way Oasis handled my father’s death was not just disappointing—it was disgraceful. If this is how they respond to a grieving child, I can’t imagine Jesus would approve. They complained about how difficult it would be and even suggested I consider going through a funeral home instead. All because my 96-year-old father, who couldn’t see, hear and barely walk, wasn’t known well enough by Pastor Marty. I will never return to this church. A church that can’t show up when it matters most isn’t serving Christ—it’s serving itself. If your own church abandons you in your darkest hour, it’s not a house of God—it’s just a building with a logo.

I have visited Oasis Church several times. I have found the messages to be filled with Truth and Love, grounded in Scripture. The music is good, the atmosphere is intimate, and God is present. The Good News of Jesus is preached.

The wife and I have been attending Oasis now for almost two years. We have really fell in love with it. God brought us here and we follow his lead. Romans 10:17 - “Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.”

I was new to the area and looking for a church home. Oasis is perfect for me and my family. Wonderful children's program, scripture based sermons, spirit-filled worship service, and all around feeling of belonging.

If you enjoy music like Jesus Culture, David Crowder, or Hillsong, then this Church would fit you. They have two Sunday services 9am and 10:30am. You will have a greeting from one of the staff of the church (a prayer, a scripture, or a welcome). Then 3 worship songs (praise and worship to the Most Awesome God), offering (tithes and offerings: tithes are 10% of income and offerings are whatever you feel God is tugging at your heart to give over the top of tithes). Then a message from the Pastor Marcus Buckley who is educated and is not owned by the congregation but willing to speak the TRUTH because he answers directly to God! Even if it is not what you want to hear, you need to hear it, because it is His Word. Then to top it off, the devoted and God fearing Worship Leader Jordan Hargrave ends with a Worship song and blesses the week of all those are there.

My family and I have been members of this congregation for over 40 years. I was baptized and confirmed here. My sister and her husband were married here. Their children now attend. Three generations and counting! They are welcoming, accepting, and progressively inclusive. They continue to faithfully serve as a pillar of the community.

I have known the community here for many years and the people are lovely and hardworking. Those at Grace Lutheran Church have influenced my life positively since I was much younger, from being generally welcoming to being part of the community through events such as their pumpkin patch and socials. Masses at Grace Lutheran are pleasant as you can feel welcome and those who organize the services take care of everyone. A priority of theirs is that everyone is accounted for; the community is wonderful.

My wife and I got married here. We then moved elsewhere for our jobs. After more than a decade, we returned to Ormond Beach with our young children and were immediately accepted into the Grace Lutheran community. Great people and nice services.

We have been members of this church since 2015. When we first attended after moving to the area, we found this church to be welcoming and friendly. It is a great place with great people.

This church is a faith filled community. Very friendly and always welcoming to all. Walking in is like walking into home. Just gives you that comfort feeling.

As a veteran, prior law enforcement, (and as someone who has been homeless) This church is the example of people not practicing what they preach... They harassed a man simply asking for people to pray for homeless vets, and also made a false 911 call hoping to get him arrested. "love thy neighbor" Do better.

i would give negative rating if possible, harassment is unbelievable; for 8 years i have asked politely for witnesses to stop ringing my doorbell , not to try to engage me nor approach me on my property and yet again i get a ring and knock. The woman greeted me by asking how long i had lived here, and she was a jevohah's witness and that she already KNEW I did not want outreach. IF YOU KNOW THIS WHY are you ignoring my prior requests. I am researching if this is in any way able to be enforced via city statute or complaint. I do not have issue with religious witnessing by any group in general but if you have been told repeatedly not to approach someone on their property, inside their home why do you continue to do it???

One of the most welcoming and friendly congregations I have ever met while traveling on vacation. If I ever do move to Ormond Beach, I will definitely want to join this congregation.

Small older building but enhancements have been made. Small sanctuary. Great hospitality, a good music department, high spirited worship service and a talented pastor who teach and preach the Word of God.

I had the opportunity to visit Hope Fellowship Church in person about (2) months ago . Bishop Triplett and Hope Fellowship has been the virtual experience that kept me alive during the last 10 months . This was an addendum to about ( 5 or 6 )years ago ,I had the privilege of hearing Bishop preach in Dacula ,Ga. Life was never the same. The book ," What do say when you say I do " was a blessing to myself and others . Awesome Church family ! You will feel at home .

Filled with the presence of the holy ghost and divinely oriented sermon that goes down into your bone marrow and heals you from your affirmatives from a specially ordained Man of God, which you would benefit in spending little of your time on Sunday and Tuesdays just to be blessed by God.

I visited Hope Fellowship Church on numerous times and I was pleased with the worm and friendly welcome,the praise and worship is awesome good preaching and a friendly congregation and pastor I would recommend this church.

My granddaughter attends the Youth Group. She really likes the programs. They offer lots of fun activities. She just went this weekend to a concert ( Christian ) in Jacksonville.

I was there for food festival top quality middle Eastern Orthodox Greek and other varieties of food I was also in a very very lovely chapel. Your arms are too short to box with God.

From the moment you walk into Salty School, you’re welcomed with smiles and friendly greetings from every staff member and teacher. The environment is incredibly positive, creating a space where you feel safe and happy to leave your child. The school offers a well-structured setting filled with engaging, planned activities. Communication with parents is consistent and detailed—we’re kept in the loop daily about our child’s experiences, which brings joy to our day knowing about the fun she is having. The teachers are kind and attentive and foster a positive environment. We are amazed with all of the skills are daughter has learned and grateful for the care the teachers provide. It’s clear the Salty School staff genuinely care about the children and are happy to be there. Salty School has exceeded all of our expectations. We feel so fortunate to have found this wonderful place for our daughter.

Our children have been going here for years. This is a wonderful, safe, Christian place for our kids and we would recommend it to all of our family and friends.

The teachers are so caring and provide such great care and patience to our little ones here.

A warm and caring environment that prioritizes practical development and skills.

Kids are a bit salty, could use a bit more seasoning, but seasoning is great got food in about 15 minutes.

I love this church but have a hard time with the music. I don’t understand why it has to be so loud? The bass causes my heart to be in my throat. We came on Christmas Eve Service, not only was it loud but between services it was hard Rick with long guitar riffs Christmas music. Just not was I want for Christmas. Merry Christmas 🙏🎄

First, I wanna say that this was my second visit on a Wednesday night and second visit to the church. I love the worship, I love the message, I can feel the spirit of God in the place and moving. The reason I’m giving this a four star is because after two visits nobody in the church has said hello. The greeters didn’t Even greet me. With that said please don’t keep this being the reason you don’t come here because it’s an amazing place to worship God. As far as the church goes, I pray that you find a way to have people feel welcome and talking to them is a really good start. This will not keep me from coming here, but I felt it was necessary to be addressed.God bless you!

I am so glad I finally found this church years ago. The people are so warm and friendly. The atmosphere is comfortable. Worship is fabulous. But most importantly, the church preaches the Bible, and missions to our local community and outreach to the world is continual. And then there’s the cafeteria where everyone is warm and friendly. Just grab a bite to eat and meet someone new. The proceeds go towards missions! There are always opportunities to grow, serve, and learn. Please check it out. Jesus loves you!

We moved to Ormond Beach a few years ago and attended several churches. We were looking for a local church, family atmosphere, youth ministry and a great minister. We found all of these and more at First United. Highly recommended that you attend a service. If you have kids, the Youth Ministry(Rooted) is amazing. The group meets every Sunday evening from 6-8 pm and offers 3 -4 group trips a year. My kids look forward to going every week.

The seating is uncomfortable. Some of the Chruch people were rude and not pleasant. The pastor was ok no complaints there. It just wasn’t what I was looking for. Some Chruch people were judgemental. I won’t return to this Chruch. I felt very uncomfortable and not welcomed.

We started watching online and are going to make it in person soon to become new members. We absolutely LOVE pastor Scott. He has a great sense of humor and is great to listen to. He really keeps things interesting and we can’t wait to finally meet him and other members in person. The church seems like a great place for families. We drove past and it looks very beautiful and very well taken care of. So excited to go!!!

We became members last year after moving from another state. The pastor made us feel welcome the very first time we met him! This is a large congregation that is involved in so many community activities. I am grateful for this community and am happy to have found them!

FUMC’s motto is God Loves You Period! And they do everything they can to live up to that motto- assisting with organizations like Halifax Urban Ministry, Beacon Center, mentoring in our local schools and even hosting the only cold night shelter in the county for the homeless. Two kind of service available: contemporary and traditional (hymns)as well as a growing kids and youth ministry. The pastor is intelligent and loves history but manages to preach with a sense of humor, all while keeping the sermons focused on deepening our relationship with Jesus.

Pastor Scott is a great preacher! He is very relatable and inspiring. Music is excellent and there are kids and teen programming. Come try it out!

This is my church, I was welcomed from my very first visit and have life long friends there. The pastor has a sense of humor and a good message each week. We have wonderful out reach programs and volunteer opportunities.

I’m visiting from Leesburg Virginia on holiday I was confirmed here in 1964. I thought I would come to the Wednesday service. January 29. 2025 no one has shown up I’m sitting in the chapel reading the Bible and reading The Holy Eucharist Rite Two by myself there appeared to be no service, but I’m enjoying being back in my church. I just wish I could’ve talked to someone. I belong to St James church in old town Leesburg, Virginia, where I’m missing their service and fellowship.

Brought my daughter here for VBS and it has been the highlight of her summer so far! Really fun and very friendly

Been a member 40+ years. Very loving and orthodox Church which will meet you where you are. Many great ministries like Family Renew Community. Right now, they have a graphic display of icons which is very dramatic. Outstanding music ministry as well.

Love my church family!

This is NOT a welcoming place for young families. They have a daycare but that’s about the extent of their help to the community. They closed the their school which is super sad because they seem to be more worried about their building and their image than spreading the Gospel and educating a younger generation. The leadership is very indecisive; they make quick and unwise decisions. It’s also very funny to me that they claim the church is an extremely sacred space when the past and present Rectors/Priests have been known to sleep on the job and use extremely profane language to office staff and parishioners alike (James 1:9). The truth hurts but it will truly set you free. I hope someone can turn this place into a wonderful church so that hurting young families can find a place to grow in their faith and love for Jesus Christ.

I was seeking a Bible teaching church. A Pastor that cares for the flock. A warm reception and true Sisters in Christ Jesus. I watch many of Pastor Tim’s sermons on line and I knew he can be trusted with Gods Word. I attended my first Wednesday night study and everyone was warm and welcoming. Pastor asked me what made me choose Providence? My answer was Prayer and the leading of The Holy Spirit. All praise to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ

My husband and I absolutely LOVE our church!! We were going a while before we fully committed as members, and very very very happy we did. I'm finishing up my first pregnancy, and my husband was working crazy hours with work. We hadn't (literally) made it to church in a good 2-3 months. When we returned, we were welcomed with open arms, and were always texted every weekend checking in on us. That is what a church family is! I'm so so glad we joined, and we can't wait to dedicate our baby girl to a loving group of people. Pastor Tim & Josh preach the true word exactly from the Bible. No runarounds or anything. If you're looking for a wonderful place, this is it!! Bible Fellowship Groups are also amazing!!

My wife and I moved to Florida 14 years ago and attended several churches, hoping to find the one we wanted to join. In mid-year 2016, we finally discovered the right church for us. We joined Providence Church in December. We look forward to many years of being at the church that meets all our worship needs. The pastors at Providence are awesome.

Too good to be true? Usually, if it sounds too good to be true, it almost always is.That's just NOT the case when it comes to Providence church! When I first met Deborah, now my wife for 5 years this February 4th, she was a member of Providence church and had been since it's humble beginning. I was of the mindset that I would never join a church based on many bad experiences I have had in the past. Feelings of being judged based on my appearance and background etc..but i went with her despite of my feelings. It wasn't long before I realized that I not only found a church home but that i had been adopted into a family! I have been a member now for over 5 years and i can honestly say that if you are looking for the biblical truth taught through the spirit of love, you will find it here and so much more!

I am a member of Providence. I have been to many different congregations in my 82 years. These fellow Christians are undoubtedly the warmest friendliest people, all of them, that I have had the opportunity to meet with. I thank God I walked through the doors. I was attending another church for years and just went to Providence to see what was going on. God works in mysterious ways. Everyone who reads this should "see what is going on" also. You will not regret it.

I have nothing but the highest praise for Providence Church. The ministers are humble, transparent and wholly committed to serving Jesus Christ. The teaching, preaching, worship, and fellowship are founded in a genuine love of the Lord with the touch of the Holy Spirit readily evident. All are welcome and I’ve never been more pleased to call Providence my new home!

A good community church with Sunday school for all ages , a music program, and social events .

If you want to attend the mass of Padre Pio , in English, this is it! This is an authentic Catholic mass for authentic Catholic people. The priest is very joyful and welcoming.

Wonderful little Byzantine church especially since Byzantine churches are far and few between in Florida. It’s a beautiful little church, and the people are friendly, and the priest and cantor were excellent.

Beautiful church and liturgy. I highly recommend that all Catholics experience this ancient liturgy! It is a treasure. We hope to return when visiting the area again.

Being from out of the country I decided to go to the early service at Lighthouse Christ Presbyterian church and will say I felt very welcomed. Loved the modern presentation with the live music and seating arrangements. I will be glad to call this sanctuary home while staying in the beautiful Florida climate on our winters stay away from home.

Nice people, and Pastor Chris is a wonderful man, does an amazing job. Sermons are well planned and he has a way about him that keeps you dialed in to his message.

As a retired PCUSA pastor there is no better place I could find to worship and serve my Lord. Pastor Chris is a caring pastor and gifted preacher. The people are loving and friendly. The ministries are comprehensive and meaningfully relevant.

You can depend on Pastor John Gill to give a great sermon while teaching from the Bible. The singing of the choir and bells is FANTASTIC under the direction of Steve Hostetler, Music Director. They are very welcoming and are located at 1000 Old Tomoka Road in Ormond Beach FL or visit on Facebook.

I have finally found a Pastor, I feel welcome and comfortable with. This lady knocks it out of the ball park every Sunday ... very down to earth. No fluffy, high falluting retoric. She welcomes ALL newbies regardless of background or affiliations. I can definately say, THIS is the Church for YOU! Give it a try one time. It will be like coming home.
