Barefoot Landing is a charming retail and entertainment village situated around a picturesque lake in North Myrtle Beach. It offers an array of attractions, including restaurants, a theater, visitor center, and carousel. The area boasts Greg Norman's Australian Grille, known for its waterfront fine dining experience with indoor and outdoor seating options offering stunning views of the Intracoastal Waterway. Visitors can explore numerous specialty boutiques and national shops while enjoying the relaxing outdoor promenade.
A Must-Visit Spot in Myrtle Beach! Barefoot Landing is a beautiful and vibrant place that perfectly combines shopping, dining, and entertainment, making it a must-visit during any trip to Myrtle Beach. We loved the atmosphere here – from the charming boardwalks to the scenic lake in the center, where you can actually spot wildlife like turtles and even crocodiles! There’s a great mix of boutique shops, restaurants, and bars, and we especially enjoyed coming in the evenings when live concerts were taking place – the energy was amazing and added so much to the experience. The whole layout of the place is thoughtfully designed, making it a pleasant place to stroll around, whether you’re shopping, grabbing a drink, or just enjoying the views. We liked it so much we ended up going more than once during our vacation! Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone looking for a fun and relaxing place to hang out in Myrtle Beach. Don’t miss it!

Barefoot Landing is a great little spot to hang out and kill some time and do some shopping. Most of the shops are overpriced touristy stuff but there are a few gems in there. The ticketed rides are extremely overpriced. Almost $7 to ride the carousel. There’s some nice views and the restaurants looked nice but we had eaten before we visited. Bring something to keep yourself hydrated as there are no water stations here (which is extremely annoying). Bottled water is $2+ at the stores. Seems like a disservice to not offer water when the shade is pretty limited.

What a beautiful place!! This is perfect for family a place to unwind, stroll around this place offer everything, from entertainment, food and activities, me and my family spend some times here, they have a lawn that you can get your own beach chair to watch their show, my daughter likes it and somehow participated, they also have a small inlet with boat and of course this place is surrounded by different kind of restaurants you have so many options, they also have a big playground where my kids spend hours of playing, and parents can always buy a refreshing drinks or cocktails while watching kids play, the bathroom is located inside the arcade, it's not clean enough that's the reason why I gave 4 star the bathroom is not maintained and it's stinky, other than that you can spend your all day on this place and I highly recommended family to visit barefoot landing whenever you visit Myrtle Beach.

Similar to Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing has quite a selection of shopping, food, and quality entertainment in north Myrtle Beach. During the day, visitors can shop for apparel, jewelry, and gifts or pick from a wide variety of attractions. Barefoot Landing is a shopping, dining and entertainment destination all in one. It is a must-see during your Myrtle Beach vacation. They have wonderful annual events, live music, great restaurants, and plenty of family-friendly fun all year round. It’s also very dog-friendly with specialty shops for your pooch and water dishes outside of many retailers around the complex. Lucy Buffett’s LuLu’s has a huge menu and is a great spot for families with little ones with a fun beach and plenty of seating. Enjoy the beautiful waterway views with a cold drink in hand at a few great spots around Barefoot Landing. We had the best time at Crooked Hammock Brewery

Very nice place, I liked walking there beside water seeing the yachts and boats, beautiful architecture, Christmas decorations, lights, the harbor and beautiful shops and restaurants.

If you grew up going to N. Myrtle, there’s a good chance you grew up at Barefoot Landing. Coming back as an adult feels like you never left. The walkways over the water, the magic shop, etc. The property itself is super clean, and there lots of things for the kiddos to do. Definitely recommend the playground to bring off some energy. Highly recommend!

Beautiful and clean place to hang out and just relax with several food, snacks, shops and bars. Kids can play in the playground while you can grab a pint of beer next door and listen to live music.

Theater production
Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show is a thrilling high-seas adventure that offers a unique dining and entertainment experience for the whole family. Produced by Dolly Parton, this show features swashbuckling pirates, ships, cannons, mermaids, seals, parrots, and divers on an underwater stage. Guests can enjoy a 4-course Caribbean-themed dinner while watching the dynamic performance unfold before them. Kids have the opportunity to interact with performers and dress up as pirates during the show.
How fun! Great show! Lots of fun acrobatics, props, birds and seals. The food was really good, big portions (you’ll be stuffed). They have some yummy alcoholic drinks (and non). The service was very good. Really enjoyed the whole experience.
Erica — Google review
This was my family’s first but hopefully not our last visit! The food was decent & I particularly enjoyed the chicken (need more seasoning tho), soup, biscuits, & corn! The show itself was entertaining from the beginning to the end & I love the incorporation of the animals. The absolute BEST part of the show was our server, Aaron! He noticed my 3 year old wearing a birthday shirt & told us he would try to make this a special birthday for her & boy did he deliver! He gifted her jewels & then told us she could be apart of the show! Thanks to him once more for this beautiful birthday gift for our baby & we can’t wait to come back again!
Dasja P — Google review
I'd heard great things about this show and it did not disappoint! Outside you can visit the animals before or after the show. The show was highly entertaining with acrobatics, fake fighting, animals, and so much more. My kids absolutely loved it. We bought tickets last minute only the day before the show we called and bought over the phone with our AAA discount which saved some money on reservation fees. We bought the value tickets but were seated dead center front row! Way too much food but you can take it to go if you want to. This is a must do experience and any seat would have a great view.

This was hands down the coolest thing we decided to do during our stay in Myrtle Beach. At first we weren't sure if it was going to be "too kid friendly" but this performance is honestly great for all ages. The food was great, the service was great and the show was FANTASTIC!! They had us in awe from the moment we sat down. If you're in the area and have a chance to attend this awesome performance I highly recommend!!
Kristen ( — Google review
Fantastic would be an understatement. The dinner was delicious and spending a bit of time with the performers before the event was too cool. We came dressed in pirate garb and received the warmest greetings from everyone. If you can come early, the pre-show is fantastic! For the main production they've rolled out the Christmas fanfair so my kids had the opportunity to say "Merry Pirate Christmas" all night long. Worth the money and if you spring for the VIP passes you get digital copies of your pictures. They also have special seats for the pre-show and even preferred seating up front.
Godscape H — Google review
Super fun for the whole family! We went on Friday night for a birthday and everyone had a good time. There’s so many exciting things happening all throughout the show that you don’t even want to look down at your food to miss anything. The service was impeccable, our server wasn’t only serving us our food/drinks (she was on top of everything the entire time), but she was also a part of the show! Every now and then we noticed she was down with the rest of the cast, waving flags or helping out in other ways. She was incredibly impressive! The food was also really good! The only thing that wasn’t super great was the coconut/chocolate cake, which was a bit dry. My best friend ordered the Apple Turnover, and that was much better. Definitely recommend the Apple Turnover over the Coconut/Chocolate cake. Other than that, 10/10 and would definitely recommend to anyone who’s in town and looking for a fun and unique experience:)

100% worth every penny. Service is spectacular. Fast and attentive. The show was more than I expected. Spectacular acrobatics and theater production, I can see why Dolly Parton’s name is behind this company. About 90 minutes of constant entertainment and energy. They truly do an amazing job at everything!

Super fun and definitely worth going! The food was good but the show and atmosphere are really why you go. Great fun for any group size, with or without children. If you are considering going, do it and you won't regret it!

Live music venue
Located in Myrtle Beach, The Carolina Opry Theater offers daily performances featuring a variety of music genres in a large theater with high-tech effects. Since its first show in 1986, it has become the premier entertainment destination in the area. With annual programs like The Christmas Show of the South and concerts from visiting stars, this 2,200-seat venue is a must-visit for live music enthusiasts.
We have come to Christmas show for the last two years and it's been a great Family Tradition for the holidays! The kids love it! Us adults love it! The show is always good. The food is good and the staff is always amazing!! And it doesn't change outside of the Holiday season. My family has never had a bad experience here! We love it and hope everyone else loves it as much as we do!

Just saw their Christmas Show with friends. What a wonderful way to kick off the Holiday Season. Beautiful venue and the show was fantastically entertaining. Will most certainly be going back for another one of themany concerts & shows hosted there.

Rick Springfield was phenomenal. The man is 75 years old and puts on a show like he's 35, absolutely incredible. Thank you Carolina Opry for booking this show, hopefully you can bring him back in the near future. The Carolina Opry staff is very friendly and professional, I'm a local for life and love going to the Opry for shows. Thank you again Carolina Opry for bringing Rick Springfield to Myrtle Beach. 🏖️ I had seats on the very front row. Thank you to Carolina Opry for letting us stand up and party with Rick the whole show. I'm wishing that you could book The O'Jays before they retire. Thank you Carolina Opry!
Rex A — Google review
We came to see the Carolina Opry show last night. It was an excellent experience. The musicians were superb. They had a lot of energy. The dancers were amazing. The comic acts had us in stitches. The comedians were funnier than what we have seen on Netflix. The song choices were great, and the voices of the entertainers were impressive. We were much more entertained than we expected. This was a wonderful show and we will definitely come back next time we are in town.
Jerry ( — Google review
We visited in late September and purchased the flex tickets which are the least expensive. They get to pick your seats. Since the show was not packed since this is the slower season, I think we got very good seats.Tickets were on the 11th row to the left. We could easily see the stage. We also got very discounted flex tickets and went the second night. First night was Time Warp where they played the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s music. All of the songs were recognizable hits. I only wish they had put a captain up who the band was because I had forgotten some. The second night was more of a variety show, with gospel, country, comedy, and tap dancing. At the end of the show, they make a point to honor the veterans in the audience. The musicians and singers were all experienced and excellent. Some had decades of experience. Everyone was right on que. costumes were all excellent. The ladies changed multiple times. The building is clean and well taken care of. Parking is plentiful. Easy to get in and off the property. They have restrooms on each side of the theater and plentiful. They do have a snack area where you can buy candy and pop. Soft drinks, wine and beer an also be bought.

Great shows. Loved the cloggers. Went to the Carolina opry show and the talent was great. They offer the Time Warp show for $15 if you attended the Opry show. At first I was hesitant but we do love 60,70 and 80’’s music and the price couldn’t be beat. So we went and it was fantastic. The talent, song choices and production was perfect.

Alligator Adventure, located at Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, is a renowned animal park that offers an up-close experience with a variety of species. The facility boasts an impressive collection of reptiles, including American and Albino alligators, wild frogs, Cassowary, BOB, Crocs, Eagle Owls, and Ring Tailed Lemurs. Visitors can witness thrilling live shows featuring 15-foot alligators leaping out of the water during feedings.
Our Alligator Adventure with Cape Fear Adventure Company was a great experience from start to finish! We spotted multiple alligators and turtles, and had a blast navigating through marsh areas with tall grass that made the paddle feel like a true adventure. We were paired with another group, but they were friendly and the outing felt relaxed and enjoyable. Captain Michael was knowledgeable, helpful, and kept a perfect pace that made it easy for everyone to keep up, no matter their skill level. This trip was fun, safe, and perfect for anyone looking to explore the wild side of the area without feeling overwhelmed. Highly recommend!

Wow! Great place to see the gators and others up close. Great presentations and feeding. Place is clean and well maintained. Although some of the wood walkways and fencing is looking weathered. I guess it adds to the ambiance! Park personnel are kind and patient. Gift store is stocked with cool stuff. By the by gators are everywhere in case you were wondering. Additionally there is a nature walk above the swamps and water. Additional buildings w/ lizards, frogs and of course snakes. Other animals and birds as well. Go, enjoy, and have fun.
Grabbs V — Google review
Coming to this place was a highlight of my trip to Myrtle Beach! This is a great family friendly place to visit for all animal lovers. They house all sorts of animals and provide great resources for learning about them. There are live shows that make the experience all the more immersive. I have never gotten to see an alligator up close or even in person so coming to Alligator Adventure makes for a unique encounter for those visiting from northern regions like me or really anyone who loves and support animal conservation.
Ashlee H — Google review
I have been by this place probably a thousand times in my life. We decided to head down from NC to check it out. Wow! This adventure was fantastic, from the native animals to exotic birds, this place has its act together. We were impressed with how the area looked and maintained. All the reptiles and animals looked well cared for and safe. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. They have animals/reptiles from all over the world...and if you want to see gators and crocs up close??? This is your kind of place.
Patrick S — Google review
They must have literally thousands of alligators here separated to some degree by age groups. Nice, clean, fully accessible facility just north of Barefoot Landing. Very nice gift shop. Food choices at snack bar very limited. You gotta go here at least once.
Guy S — Google review
I went with my kids. My kids absolutely loved this place. We went to 3 shows while we were there. We just loved walking around looking at all of the animals! I noticed all the animal enclosures were clean. They had fresh water, clean enclosures, and most had some type of food/snack available. Our highlight would have been Utan the 20ft or 21ft crocodile. The kids just could not get over how big his head is and how round he was as well. An educational experience we all enjoyed!
Beau G — Google review
Alligator Adventure was such a fun and educational experience! There’s so much more than just alligators—we saw snakes, turtles, exotic birds, lamas, hyenas, and even a rare albino alligator. The live shows were a highlight; the staff are incredibly knowledgeable and engaging. The park is clean, well laid out, and easy to navigate. There are plenty of shady spots, which is great on a hot day. We especially loved seeing the giant alligators and crocodiles up close—some of them are absolutely massive!
Freda P — Google review
This was a very interesting place to visit. They had lizards alligators snakes birds turtles laughing hyena line and much more, frogs. It was a very friendly place and we enjoyed every minute of it. If you are ever in this area I highly recommend that you go to this place it's a must, and your kids will love it as well.

Southern restaurant (US)
Restaurant
The Shack is a classic Southern cafe that has been serving traditional Southern cuisine since 2010. Formerly known as The Biscuit Shack, the restaurant continues the legacy of its previous owner by offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a nostalgic setting. The menu features a variety of Southern favorites such as fried shrimp, seafood baskets, oyster sandwiches, and Dixie Chicken dinner.
Absolutely loved The Shack! We are a party of 10 and they were able to seat us quickly with no wait. Separate tables but right next to each other. The service was great! Waitress and staff were so friendly and kept our drinks full. Food came out quickly and was piping hot. I had the basket of hush puppies, the crab cake, and the shrimp salad. All were excellent and FRESH! We originally went to have breakfast but missed breakfast time but we’re glad we stayed for lunch. We will definitely be back to The Shack on any future MB trips.
Ann S — Google review
Tried for the first time and so glad we did! Got there about 4:30 on a Wednesday and only waited 40 minutes for a table of 10. Our server, Tessa, was so kind. Accommodating of my celiac allergy and checking on info. Prices are incredible and quality is top notch. We sampled steak and shrimp and the seafood combo with oysters, flounder and shrimp, grilled. The tomato pie was also raved about as a side. Everything was excellent. Can’t wait to come back! All the guests were so friendly, a lot of locals - always a great sign!
Lisa K — Google review
Great southern home cooking. Food was fresh, the service was great, and the prices were very reasonable! The hush puppies with honey butter were 10 out of 10! Will definitely be back.
Maria R — Google review
We visited the Shack on our vacation. The food was made freshly from scratch, everything was hot and delicious! We loved everything we tasted. The waitresses are very friendly and give great service. The South carolina locals eat there alot. The locals are also very nice and friendly. We hope to go back some day. Its a drive from Oklahoma though. 🥰
Jeanette P — Google review
My biggest problem with this restaurant was the food was pretty bland. Even the fried food was bland. Fish was bland. The side dishes were bland. The chicken was smothered with cheese and bacon with honey mustard the chicken itself bland no seasoning. Customer service was good. Wait time was pretty good, but the food was bland and the french fries were soggy. if you like your food, well season, this ain’t the place you might as well. Bring your season salt and be ready to put it on there because they are lacking.
Christopher L — Google review
We had heard good things about this place. It was a huge let down for myself and my family. Coming from out west, a place above 4 stars has to have flavor 🔥😋 There was no flavor, processed store bought condiments. Everyone there seemed to be bathing their food in ketchup 🤯 That is disgusting 🤢 I was starving or I probably would have walked out. Orded the Ceasar salad. Shrimp was bland, dressing was thick, and croutons outnumbered the salad and shrimp. None of us finished our food, and definitely did not take home any leftovers 😬 Store-bought salad dressing, margarine used and not butter, lots of processed food and seed oils. Did not feel home cooked, just fried and bland.
James T — Google review
Place is good but felt like I was being watch by certain customers coming in and out of the restaurant like they surprised to see a man of my (color) other than that it was fresh fast and tasty not the best flavor but it was good from what my mom said she at here I didn’t . I’d return to try other dishes for sure.

Hoskins Restaurant is a long-standing family-owned diner-style spot that has been serving American seafood and steak dishes for over 70 years. Located near the famous Fat Harold's shag club, this family-friendly restaurant offers a variety of options from fresh flounder to classic meat-and-three lunch specials, including their renowned meatloaf, fried chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, and cornbread.
Hoskins is a popular spot for dining, and we waited in line for over 30 minutes to be seated. The food was very good and reasonably priced, making the wait worthwhile. I ordered the fried seafood combination, which included flounder, oysters, a crab cake, shrimp, and scallops. The scallops and shrimp were excellent, the flounder and oysters were good, but I found the crab cake underwhelming. The service was excellent, and I look forward to returning for either lunch or dinner. Vegetables are primarily served during lunch hours, so if I visit for dinner, I plan to try the scallop sandwich or the scallop plate. The place was what you’d expect with a beach atmosphere.

Have lived here for 17 years and can finally say I’ve been! We went in as a family of 4 for breakfast and it was delicious and super affordable. There was no wait, our waitress was friendly and attentive. I would recommend their biscuits and gravy and sausage egg and cheese biscuit! Now I want to go back and try lunch and dinner!!

Best restaurant we have been to in North Myrtle Beach! Excellent service! Ribeye was cooked perfect! Very flavorful! Taste like it was flame grilled. The fried shrimp were the best we have had. The fried flounder was cooked to perfection! The only drawback was that they ran out of coconut pie. But the chocolate was a delicious substitute!😍 Our server was very kind, attentive & Efficient! This placed was not super noisy. Perfect for my parents! I seriously can not say enough good things about this restaurant!
Dena R — Google review
I don't get the hype about this place. It's crowded so service is slow, and their eggs, sausage, bacon, and grits are nothing to write home about (or a review, but here we are). We both ordered eggs scrambled with cheese. I don't know anywhere else that could screw that up. Except this place that just threw shredded cheese on top of scrambled eggs instead of folding in the cheese. The grits were thick and tasteless. The biscuits were flat and dry. The bacon and sausage were okay. Kinda disappointed because breakfast is our big meal of the day, and we could have gone somewhere much better.

What a GEM in N Myrtle. This place is on the main strip coming into N Myrtle. A line begins quickly for dinner, suggest going early 5:30ish. Line moves fast. Great fried seafood. Slaw is amazing, mayonnaise base with a vinegar finish, definitely homemade. Typical dinning room vibe, small room with many tables. Wait staff was awesome and efficient. We never miss the opportunity when we visit.

Nestled between Joes Crab Shack and Joes Hamburger Shack, Joe's Bar & Grill may seem unassuming from the outside, but it offers a different world once you step in. With panoramic views of the salt marsh from its back patio deck, this bi-level eatery provides a casual setting for upscale dining. Whether it's a romantic date night or a fun evening with friends, Joe's Bar & Grill is known for its excellent food and atmosphere.
Three of us dined here for my son's birthday dinner. I would highly recommend making reservations particularly in the summer. We were seated immediately upon arrival with reservations, and the service provided by Gary was excellent. Even though the restaurant was full and he had a full range of tables, he provided fast, knowledgeable service and was always at our table a moment before we realized we needed something. The restaurant, tables, and dishware were exceedingly clean, as were the restrooms. They have full alcohol service including a wide range of wine and beers. Warm bread, crackers, cheese and butter were served along with water immediately upon sitting. All of the food was absolutely delicious, and we chose appetizers and dinner. Everything was served exactly as ordered and the seafood and the prime rib were expertly cooked. We couldn't have been more pleased with our meals and definitely understood why Joe's has such a sterling reputation in this area. My compliments to everyone at Joe's Bar and Grill

Joe's has been a local favorite for many years. The food is upscale with service to match. We had a party of 12 which they accommodated easily. Service was outstanding and food was perfect even with a couple of special requests. You should give Joe's a try, you won't be disappointed.

We went here last night, October 18Th, we had high hopes since one of our party members and husband had been going there for 7+ years and never had a bad meal. There were six people in our party. Our server was great. The atmosphere was very good. They were very busy. I had unsweetened ice tea it was an 8 on a 1-10 scale . I ordered the aged 12 ounce ribeye. I ordered it medium rare when it arrived. It was medium to medium well, my lady ordered prime rib, rare it was perfect. It was the only meal that came thru correctly. 5/6 meals were wrong mine and Chris were medium well and they were ordered, medium rare.. His wife ordered medium, and it came rare , the last 2 in our party ordered medium rare and one was borderline raw , the other well done ,The portion of potatoes the steak came with was small and they were overcooked and dried out . Very disappointing . I wasn’t offered any options with the potatoes and another person in our party was able to swap them for sweet potatoes which I would’ve much rather had, but it was never offered to me.. I felt a little bit shorted by that. Caesar salads were good .They were sized right , lettuce fresh , good cheese and croutons ,no issues there .We ordered dessert and honestly, that was the best part of our experience.. We ordered a chocolate chocolate caramel cheesecake, and it was amazing. Our server was great , she was attentive and kept our drinks full . I would go here again but I certainly wouldn’t go out of my way to get here . I was disappointed because I heard really good things about this place.
John D — Google review
This is at least our second time going however my family has been going a lot longer, they all really enjoy it. I got steak which was a nice cut and cooked to perfection but I felt like it lacked just a little extra punch in flavor to make it stand out. I also got the house soup which was spicy but delicious! Previously I got the chicken parm which was really good from what I remember. My girlfriend got the scallops again which she was really fond of and she even had an ongoing joke with Gary our waiter on finishing the last one which she couldn't so he threw it in a "to go" container so it wouldn't go to waste 😂 I would highly suggest reservations, the previous year even with that but with a bigger group it felt like it took 10 to 15 minutes to get a table they stay busy! But it's worth it!

Joe’s Bar & Grill has a fantastic atmosphere and a cozy, welcoming environment that makes it easy to see why it’s so highly rated. From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. The rustic charm, comfortable seating, and inviting lighting created the perfect backdrop for what we hoped would be a great dining experience. The service was excellent — our server was exceptionally attentive, friendly, and clearly took pride in making sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. That level of care is something you don’t find everywhere and really stood out. Unfortunately, the kitchen seemed to have an off night. While each plate was beautifully presented and arrived looking perfect, the execution fell short of expectations. We had a party of six, and only one dinner was prepared exactly as ordered. The $38 ribeye steaks, ordered medium-rare, came out closer to medium-well. One filet mignon was very overcooked and tough, while the other was practically raw. That said, given Joe’s reputation and the many positive reviews from others, I truly believe this was just an unusual night. The setting, service, and presentation all suggest a team that takes pride in what they do, so we’ll definitely give it another try. This time around, I’d rate it a 7 out of 10, but I’m confident that next time it could easily be a 10 out of 10.

Came here on a complete whim because we were hungry and the website said it's been here for over 30 years. They did not disappoint! The food was phenomenal! The service was exceptional and the atmosphere was perfect, we could talk, it was well lit, it smelled amazing. I look forward to coming back next time we are here!

Service was exceptional. Staff was very friendly and met all needs promptly. The food, however, was just gross. We ordered the smoked salmon appetizer and it was just smoked salmon and cream cheese in a plate with crackers. Caesar salad is not actually Caesar, just a pungent vinaigrette. Shrimp and grits tasted like spaghettios. The prime rib was passable, but the potatoes were both burned and mushy and absolutely coated in parsley. Kids’ chicken tenders look ghostly white. Atmosphere is very 80s hunting lodge (so many taxidermy animals!) and just weird.

A great restaurant tucked away behind other restaurants on 17. I've eaten here multiple times, they have various areas to eat and each has a different ambiance. Food has always been very good. Parking can be difficult, this place gets packed quick, highly recommend reservations.

Boardwalk Billys is a lively and popular hangout located on the Doc Holidays Marina, offering a festive atmosphere with BBQ, seafood, and drinks. The venue overlooks the scenic Intracoastal Waterway and features a covered patio and lively bar. Guests can indulge in an array of Southern seafood classics such as Charleston crab cakes, homemade she-crab soup, oysters Rockefeller, and more.
If you're looking for casual waterfront dining with a fun vibe and solid Southern seafood, Boardwalk Billy’s delivers exactly that. I stopped by their Myrtle Beach location on a sunny afternoon, and from the moment we pulled in, it felt like a local favorite — lively but not overcrowded, with a mix of tourists and regulars. We were seated quickly outside with a view of the water, which was a highlight in itself. The atmosphere is relaxed — think picnic tables, cold drinks, and the faint sound of live music floating in the background. Service was friendly and fast without being pushy. Now, the food: we started with the crab dip and hush puppies, both fresh and flavorful. For the main course, I had the Low Country Boil — shrimp, sausage, corn, and potatoes all seasoned perfectly and served piping hot. My partner ordered the fish tacos and was equally impressed. Portions were generous, and prices were more than fair for the location. The bar has a wide selection of cold beers, frozen drinks, and daily specials. I tried their signature rum punch — dangerously good. Overall, Boardwalk Billy’s is exactly what you'd hope for in a beachside eatery: casual, tasty, affordable, and fun. Perfect spot to unwind after a long day in the sun. Will definitely be back!

The best restaurant in north Myrtle Beach 🏖️ Three hours was the park the car, wait, eat, leave. We wish the live music would’ve started sooner. Incredible environment right on the water. During the wait there are things to do - walk around the Marina - intercostal waterway connection/ magic show 🎩- really cool place. They have it dialed in. Good food and service. Boardwalk Billy for the win 🥇👏🐺🇺🇸

The food was so good. We went on Friday where a fish basket is only $7.99 and sushi rolls were $6. We got three fish baskets and 3 sushi rolls. We shared everything as a family. We had a seat outdid looking right at the water. Great service. Fresh delicious food. We enjoyed our last full day at the beach and this was a great highlight of that day.

When we initially pulled up and saw the multiple parking lots allocated to the restaurant (it seemed packed) we thought we were going to have a problem getting a table but we got seated right away. The restaurant is pretty big it looks like it's probably been expanded on a few times it has huge menu of a varying assortments, definitely a popular hangout which has a great happy hour (for food) and live music. I will say upon trying one of "Billy's favorites" I was a bit disappointed I got the wings which came out quickly but that's because they were already cooked (dry from sitting out). Pretty good drink menu we tried a few mixed drinks they're all pretty tasty outside of the "Surrender the booty" 😂. They really redeemed themselves on the tacos 🌮 I can be kind of picky but since we're on vacation I wanted to do things a little different I decide to leave everything as is which turned out great! I would definitely buy them again just as they were. We plan on going back for the happy hour specials and maybe try the sushi 🍣

This was a great lunch spot. The beer is excellent, service was good, and food selection unmatched. I loved the she crab soup and sushi roll. My wife said the Philly Cheesesteak was also very good. The place is really big with some great views.

A nice little gem off the beaten path, and on the intercoastal waterway! Very casual sports bar atmosphere with a lot of awesome memorabilia on the walls! There is a vast menu of sandwiches, burgers, etc.! I have the lunch special of Shrimp and Grits Cake for $10. This could easily be $15-$20 at other restaurants! My grandson thought the Cali Nachos were awesome! We are not alcohol drinkers, but didn’t notice a vast bar menu! The food came out quickly, and was hot! Our waitress was awesome, and very attentive to our needs! There’s plenty of parking for cars, and as I said, boats from the intercoastal waterway. There is easy handicap accessibility. We do not live in this area, but if we did, I am certain we would be back again!

Down for vacation and we wanted good low country boil with crab legs and shrimp. So after some research we decided to make our first visit here. I did my own research from reviews and pictures on google and from a North Myrtle Beach Facebook group page. Boardwalk Billy’s came up a time or 2 and those few people said not to sleep on this place. We pulled in and it was absolutely packed! We parked and walked in, the lady took our name and said it would be up to and hour and 15 min wait. They have an awesome set up for waiting area and plenty of benches and things to keep kids occupied. Sand box, corn hole, tik tac toe. Several bars in this place as well. After all we didn’t have to wait but like 30 mins or less, which was great! Had a live band that played some really good music that set the perfect atmosphere. Food didn’t take that long to come out even though it was busy, busy. We got an appetizer of fried pickles that didn’t disappoint either. Fiancé got the boil with added shrimp, I got surf and turf ribeye and shrimp with fries and hush puppies. Kids got 2 different flavor chicken sandwiches, and the other got blackened fish tacos. We will definitely be back to Boardwalk Billy’s! Good job lady’s and gents!

My girlfriend and I recently dined for the first time at Sea Blue. We took advantage of the 2025 Restaurant week deal but ended up ordering more than just that! The food was absolutely AMAZING! There was a good 20minutes my friend and I barely spoke because we were savoring all the deliciousness!!!! We had Shaina as our server and she was superb! Very knowledgeable of the menu and was able to answer all the questions we had. My friend needed her items to be gluten free and Shaina was on top of it! She explained all of the options (which there are alot). We will be asking for her next time we are there!! And yes we will most definitely be back! Thank you for a memorable experience!

This was our first meal at SeaBlue - my wife wanted to go there for her birthday. This was truly a fine dining experience. I noted the special occasion on our OpenTable reservation, and it was acknowledged when we checked in to be seated. The service, food, and the cocktails were all excellent. We had the short rib ravioli starter, with scallops and "Fruits of the Sea" as our mains. The waffle and ice cream dessert was a fine ending to our evening. We will certainly be back.

Celebrated our Anniversary while on vacation and the food was amazing! I ordered the sea bass and my husband ordered the turf and surf. Portion sizes were plenty and mouth watering. Every single bite was delicious. Not too busy and really quaint while still upscale. Loved the provocative art also.

One word comes to mind, exquisite! I had a magnificent Manhattan. Followed up with lobster escargot (lobster prepared like escargot) that was amazing. The oysters casino were decadent. Next was the scallops and potatoes gratin. There is so much to choose from between the menu and the specials they were offering. This is hands down, one of the finest restaurants I've had the pleasure of dining in. The staff are warm and friendly. You are greeted with a smile and are genuinely glad to have you dine there. 5 stars from me and a must dine here if you're in the area. You will not be disappointed.

This restaurant far exceeded my expectations and a top highlight of our vacation. The food was absolutely incredible. My husband had the seafood risotto and I had the seabass fresh catch of the day. I’m pretty my dish was in the top 5 I’ve ever had! The owner helped us pick out a bottle of white for dinner that we are still raving about a week later. Everything from the service, atmosphere, food and wine was a home run. I can’t wait to go back!

We recently had the absolute best dinner my husband and I have had in a long time at SeaBlue. Although I have been wanting to go there for several years, the prices are a little expensive and with all the restaurants within a half hour of us, I wasn't sure if it would be worth the price. Well, I can definitively say that it was worth every penny. From the minute we walked in until the minute we left the restaurant, the staff at SeaBlue made us feel like we were special customers. Whenever we go out to eat for a special occasion, I always note it on my reservation, but ususally nothing special happens. Not the case at Seablue. I made the reservation on OpenTable and put in the notes that we were celebrating an anniversary. When we walked in, the hostess greeted us, looked up our reservation and immediately wished us a Happy Anniversary. She then led us to our table which was a private booth with a room divider separating us from the rest of the tables, and on the table was a tented card that said, "Happy Aniiversary". What a nice touch! A very friendly bartender then came in to take our drink orders and then our server, Jason, came in. I have to say that Jason made the night even more special with his friendliness, knowledge of the menu, and his professionalism. His timing was impeccable and he was always there without being intrusive. We wanted to try their 3 course prix fixe menu for $59 and it was a fantastic value. I got the SeaBlue House Salad and my husband got the Chopped Caesar Salad, we shared the 8 oz. filet of ribeye and Fruits of the Sea, and shared a dessert of a Belgian Waffle with Coconut Gelato, whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. Both salads were delicious and huge portions. The filet of ribeye was superb without an ounce of fat and tons of flavor, the shrimp were enormous and delicious and the most gigantic scallop was perfectly cooked. The accompanying potato au gratin, charred asparagus and risotto were also all wonderful. Everything was amazing and we both cleaned all of our plates. Jason, our server, made our anniversary dinner perfect and we can't wait to go back.

This place was fabulous! The mixture of ingredients and spices and everything was just divine. Things I wouldn’t even think of with beautiful presentation. Ashley our waitress was thoroughly knowledgeable on the menu items and described the specials with flare that made you taste each and every one as it was described. We ordered light and were absolutely stuffed that I had to bring dessert home (so apologize for that pic as it is in a togo box). Any and every time I visit this area would highly recommend Sea Blue. I did not take pics of the full wine and beverage menus there is soooo many to look at that should satisfy any palate foodie or non-foodie.

Absolutely every bite and sip was delicious! Went with 8 family member and we all shared appetizers and desserts. Cocktails were fresh, well mixed and did the trick. Baked oyster, escargot, ravioli, and pickled beet appetizers were fabulous. Server was attentive and knowledgeable. The booth seats were comfortable.
