Barefoot Landing is a charming retail and entertainment village situated around a picturesque lake in North Myrtle Beach. It offers an array of attractions, including restaurants, a theater, visitor center, and carousel. The area boasts Greg Norman's Australian Grille, known for its waterfront fine dining experience with indoor and outdoor seating options offering stunning views of the Intracoastal Waterway. Visitors can explore numerous specialty boutiques and national shops while enjoying the relaxing outdoor promenade.
A Must-Visit Spot in Myrtle Beach! Barefoot Landing is a beautiful and vibrant place that perfectly combines shopping, dining, and entertainment, making it a must-visit during any trip to Myrtle Beach. We loved the atmosphere here – from the charming boardwalks to the scenic lake in the center, where you can actually spot wildlife like turtles and even crocodiles! There’s a great mix of boutique shops, restaurants, and bars, and we especially enjoyed coming in the evenings when live concerts were taking place – the energy was amazing and added so much to the experience. The whole layout of the place is thoughtfully designed, making it a pleasant place to stroll around, whether you’re shopping, grabbing a drink, or just enjoying the views. We liked it so much we ended up going more than once during our vacation! Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone looking for a fun and relaxing place to hang out in Myrtle Beach. Don’t miss it!

Barefoot Landing is a great little spot to hang out and kill some time and do some shopping. Most of the shops are overpriced touristy stuff but there are a few gems in there. The ticketed rides are extremely overpriced. Almost $7 to ride the carousel. There’s some nice views and the restaurants looked nice but we had eaten before we visited. Bring something to keep yourself hydrated as there are no water stations here (which is extremely annoying). Bottled water is $2+ at the stores. Seems like a disservice to not offer water when the shade is pretty limited.

What a beautiful place!! This is perfect for family a place to unwind, stroll around this place offer everything, from entertainment, food and activities, me and my family spend some times here, they have a lawn that you can get your own beach chair to watch their show, my daughter likes it and somehow participated, they also have a small inlet with boat and of course this place is surrounded by different kind of restaurants you have so many options, they also have a big playground where my kids spend hours of playing, and parents can always buy a refreshing drinks or cocktails while watching kids play, the bathroom is located inside the arcade, it's not clean enough that's the reason why I gave 4 star the bathroom is not maintained and it's stinky, other than that you can spend your all day on this place and I highly recommended family to visit barefoot landing whenever you visit Myrtle Beach.

Similar to Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing has quite a selection of shopping, food, and quality entertainment in north Myrtle Beach. During the day, visitors can shop for apparel, jewelry, and gifts or pick from a wide variety of attractions. Barefoot Landing is a shopping, dining and entertainment destination all in one. It is a must-see during your Myrtle Beach vacation. They have wonderful annual events, live music, great restaurants, and plenty of family-friendly fun all year round. It’s also very dog-friendly with specialty shops for your pooch and water dishes outside of many retailers around the complex. Lucy Buffett’s LuLu’s has a huge menu and is a great spot for families with little ones with a fun beach and plenty of seating. Enjoy the beautiful waterway views with a cold drink in hand at a few great spots around Barefoot Landing. We had the best time at Crooked Hammock Brewery

Great sitting for shopping. Plenty of grassy areas, and scattered benches for resting. Plenty of restaurants and great shopping. I found a unique store where everything in the store is a shade of purple... It's such a cool place. I talked to the owner, a beautiful lady who actually thought of this store. She's 71 and did this for her love of purple 💜 you have to come check this one of a kind shops. The purpleologist. The pictures don't do it justice.

Barefoot Landing have fantastic stores, foods, and more, it’s a great place to visit with friends and families, their are also ponds with fishes and it also looks cool, also I look at shirts of Football (Soccer), pretty cool because I’m a fan of Football, and their are shirts, plush, shoes store in this area, pretty cool, besides this place is a 100% the best one yet, and in Myrtle Beach, their are other places to visit.

Beautiful and clean place to hang out and just relax with several food, snacks, shops and bars. Kids can play in the playground while you can grab a pint of beer next door and listen to live music.

Absolutely a wonderful experience for a soulful Sunday brunch visiting from out of town. The food was quite tasty, and the live band/praise team was touching. The art is so telling of a true story. We watched as many people of various backgrounds enjoyed it all. I do recommend the experience!

We loved everything about House of Blues! Great atmosphere, great service. I took my daughter to her first concert. We've been checking the line-up from now until the end of the year. We'll definitely be going back! Great venue!

Took the family to have dinner at the restaurant first and then went to see a concert after. Food was delicious. Portions were just right. Drinks were good too. Hospitality was 10/10. Bathrooms were very clean too. Something fun to do if you’re vacationing or a local.

Shoot to thrill, Saturday night, was an incredible band. They did a great job playing AC/DC music. The singer had an amazing voice and the rest of the band kicked ass. The lead guitarist was amazing. I would recommend checking them out when you can, they are from Raleigh.

I want to thank you for letting us be a host at your place of work… Also, the place is so big and beautiful inside Out clean the staff friendly professional keep up the excellent work

We dropped in for a quick bite and a couple of drinks before a show across the parking lot. It was happy hour on a Saturday evening, the burger 🍔 😋 was a nice surprise. They call them smash burgers, I requested they don't smash all the juices from my patty, and they didn't, but my wife got a hold of it, so I'll be back for another soon. My wife ordered the nachos, light and fresh, they were about avg. It's always nice to drop in somewhere without researching and enjoy the atmosphere, bar tender and food. I'm gving the House of Blues a 5, real score 4.6. We couldn't stay for the music, but plan to return soon.
RobbyD R — Google review
Good times all around! The venue itself was amazing, security was friendly, and the bartenders were great. My only surprise was the $12 price tag on a non-alcoholic drink, which felt a little steep. Still, the concert was absolutely amazing and made the night unforgettable.
Phillip P — Google review
Great family atmosphere and good entertainment. I was expecting more live music with a choir or group. The father and son duo act was great and they were very talented! We enjoyed the waiter and his hospitality. A photographer is on hand to take pictures and make memories really nice! Prices and packages are available. The cost of the buffet styled menu was over $50 per adult breakfast and dinner. Pastries and fresh fruit salad were included in the buffet. They do have a menu of different food items that are not available on the buffet. Large groups tickets are split 4 ways per table.

Alligator Adventure, located at Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, is a renowned animal park that offers an up-close experience with a variety of species. The facility boasts an impressive collection of reptiles, including American and Albino alligators, wild frogs, Cassowary, BOB, Crocs, Eagle Owls, and Ring Tailed Lemurs. Visitors can witness thrilling live shows featuring 15-foot alligators leaping out of the water during feedings.
Our Alligator Adventure with Cape Fear Adventure Company was a great experience from start to finish! We spotted multiple alligators and turtles, and had a blast navigating through marsh areas with tall grass that made the paddle feel like a true adventure. We were paired with another group, but they were friendly and the outing felt relaxed and enjoyable. Captain Michael was knowledgeable, helpful, and kept a perfect pace that made it easy for everyone to keep up, no matter their skill level. This trip was fun, safe, and perfect for anyone looking to explore the wild side of the area without feeling overwhelmed. Highly recommend!

Wow! Great place to see the gators and others up close. Great presentations and feeding. Place is clean and well maintained. Although some of the wood walkways and fencing is looking weathered. I guess it adds to the ambiance! Park personnel are kind and patient. Gift store is stocked with cool stuff. By the by gators are everywhere in case you were wondering. Additionally there is a nature walk above the swamps and water. Additional buildings w/ lizards, frogs and of course snakes. Other animals and birds as well. Go, enjoy, and have fun.

I have been by this place probably a thousand times in my life. We decided to head down from NC to check it out. Wow! This adventure was fantastic, from the native animals to exotic birds, this place has its act together. We were impressed with how the area looked and maintained. All the reptiles and animals looked well cared for and safe. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. They have animals/reptiles from all over the world...and if you want to see gators and crocs up close??? This is your kind of place.

My husband and I enjoyed our day. It is a little pricey but very well set up. We enjoyed both shows that we saw. Great gift shop and plenty of bathrooms. Definitely recommend if you need an activity in North Myrtle Beach
Jennifer J — Google review
I went with my kids. My kids absolutely loved this place. We went to 3 shows while we were there. We just loved walking around looking at all of the animals! I noticed all the animal enclosures were clean. They had fresh water, clean enclosures, and most had some type of food/snack available. Our highlight would have been Utan the 20ft or 21ft crocodile. The kids just could not get over how big his head is and how round he was as well. An educational experience we all enjoyed!
Beau G — Google review
Alligator Adventure was such a fun and educational experience! There’s so much more than just alligators—we saw snakes, turtles, exotic birds, lamas, hyenas, and even a rare albino alligator. The live shows were a highlight; the staff are incredibly knowledgeable and engaging. The park is clean, well laid out, and easy to navigate. There are plenty of shady spots, which is great on a hot day. We especially loved seeing the giant alligators and crocodiles up close—some of them are absolutely massive!
Freda P — Google review
We had a great experience here. It was extremely hot, little shade, but they have giant fans often so you can pause and cool down. So many animals. Very knowledgeable handlers. And we love Bob the tailless alligator.
Patty V — Google review
Absolutely loved this place! Park is packed with Alligators. You are greeted by them the moment you walk into the park. We were visiting from out of town and were just blown away and overjoyed. We enjoyed visiting the animals and loved the feedings. Stanley the alligator is my favorite! Definitely recommend going!

Miniature golf course
If you're looking for a unique and entertaining experience in North Myrtle Beach, look no further than Lost Treasure Golf. Established in 1955, this mini-golf gem has been delighting families for decades with its two captivating 18-hole courses that are steeped in adventure and lore. As you embark on your journey through the lush landscapes adorned with waterfalls and intriguing relics, you'll ride a mining train car up to the first hole of each course.
Family fun mini golf with a train tide to the top of the mountain. There are 18 holes on each game. They have a gold and a diamond course. Gold is a bit harder in skill. Diamond was so much fun! If you have some time I would recommend this course.
Stephanie B — Google review
You get a short train ride up to the golf course which is super fun for the kids. The course we selected was not very challenging but was easy for the kids to do. Course was set up nicely very walkable and easy to navigate. The only negative thing that I have to say was the PAR was not clear and listed on some of the holes. Not a deal-breaker. Would go back here again.
Angela D — Google review
This was the best mini gulf course around. We did the Gold, so didn’t have time to try the diamond. We wish we had went here first instead of Dinosaur Adventure. Next time we come to Myrtle Beach, we will try the diamond. But we had so much fun here. Highly recommend. The train ride was neat, too! Can’t forget that part.
Courtney R — Google review
Two courses. If you play both you get a discount on the second. Can take a train up to the top of the courses or the stairs. Play your way down the hill to complete the courses. More than “hit ball straight” on the gold course. Diamond was a bit more straightforward. Greens were well maintained and staff was very nice. Lots of nice places for “couple” photos if on a date or with family.
Nicole J — Google review
My 10yo and me had some amazing father-son bonding time at this place. Both the Golf and Diamond course can be played in about an hour. We took 2 hours on a cloudy day to visit. Clean, well maintained course, nice equipment, v friendly staff. My son loved the train ride to the top of the course. Next time we'll be here with a much larger crowd.
Suresh N — Google review
Had so much fun playing at this putt putt place. Highly recommend, staff was so nice and friendly and the 2 18 hole courses were alot of fun. Perfect place to for family fun at a fair price. And they use a fun train ride to get you to the top of the course. 10/10
Irenikx — Google review
My husband, son, and I enjoyed both the Gold and Diamond courses and the ride up to the courses was unique. We would definitely come back.
Rose B — Google review
I think this just may be my favorite golf course in MB. Such a fun a creative approach with a train ride taking you to the top of the MTN. We came here for my son's birthday and we're not disappointed. The employees were so nice and welcoming.

Preston's Seafood & Country Buffet is a popular spot known for its extensive buffet featuring a variety of seafood and comfort food options. The restaurant offers dedicated bars with kid-friendly fare, salad, and dessert. Additionally, Preston's is a great choice for traditional Christmas dinner with special menu items like roasted turkey, honey baked ham, prime rib, BBQ ribs and chicken, as well as an assortment of baked and fried seafood.
You can get the full buffet, you can get a buffet without crab legs, you can have just a soup salad and dessert buffet, or they have a menu. They have kids options that are great too. Now let's talk about the options on the buffet .. there were plenty of veggies, bread, fish, shrimp and amazing salad bar! Our kids love it and now adult kids too. I have been coming here for over 20 years, yes , my favorite place. Jane has a wonderful place. Chris waited on us tonight, perfect service and made sure we had drinks refilled and crab legs brought to us. Thank you for so many memories and years. Lovely family owned and best in myrtle!

Came down with my family from NY for vacation and decided to try Preston’s. Food was great and our server Christian was fantastic. Very personable and funny and even taught us how to crack crab legs! Very cute restaurant we loved the antiques!
Rachel W — Google review
The server was VERY sweet and attentive. She initially sat us down at a booth. When we expressed that wasn’t going to be large enough, she was SO kind to move us to a bigger table, which gave us plenty more room. The food on the buffet (and salad bar) was okay, however, some folks (NOT naming names) haven’t been too impressed. Mostly because of the pricing. We’ve given them our business for many, many years, I would personally continue to do so.

Large buffet with your choice of all you can eat crab legs or just buffet. $44.95 for all you can eat crab legs & buffet, $31.95 without crab legs. Crab is brought directly to your table from kitchen. Regular menu available upon request. Entrees on regular menu approx $18 - $30. Very clean restaurant. Coupons available online. Friendly, attentive staff. Great service.

Christmas 2023 dinner here, and the food was just OK. A hit or miss with some items. Maybe a little bland in some cases but not nasty. The BBQ ribs were great. The fried shrimp were delicious, but the scallops and oysters seemed like frozen pre-breaded stuff. The atmosphere was awesome, a lot of interesting things on the walls. The seating was great. The place wasn't overly crowded, and it was well maintained. This place was clean as a whistle. I'm not sure if the foods fit my taste, but I may come back some day for their regular menu. Thanks for the great service and atmosphere.

The hosts were so warm and welcoming. It is family owned. The waitress was eager to please with smiles. Service was on point. The atmosphere is very interesting and entertaining. Everything looks clean and well kept. The crab legs hot and brought to the table, were delicious. All you can eat. The buffet was well stocked, organized and clean. The broasted chicken was excellent. The rest of the food was good but nothing memorable stood out.
NC R — Google review
Chris was a great server. The bang bang shrimp was good and the scallops was great. The crab legs seemed a little dirty but I don’t eat the shell so it didn’t bother me at all. Seen other reviews about no seasoning but it was seasoned great and well seasoned. 106 for 2 is high but worth it, especially when the server is very attentive.

Dick's Last Resort in Myrtle Beach is a unique restaurant known for its rowdy roadhouse atmosphere and Southern-style menu. Despite the initially gruff service, the staff's rudeness is all in good fun and meant to entertain diners. The restaurant offers a variety of culinary delights, including regional dishes and international cuisine. Guests can enjoy items like nachos, veggie burgers, chicken mac and cheese, and delicious ribs while being entertained by the sarcastic servers.
Great place to go if you can take a joke and give it back to the staff. They are here to make fun of you and have a good time while doing it. I encourage you to join in and make fun of other tables. The food is really good too! Decent portion sizes and decently priced. They serve the alcohol strong! Come with a big appetite and a sense of humor!

Families be warned: this place is not appropriate for young kids (under 10)! There was inappropriate language, innuendo, and a lot of rude/mean behavior. Or if you have anyone in your group who is sensitive or doesn’t like being teased or picked on I’d pick somewhere else. Ok, that being said on to the other stuff—because there were good things. The food was tasty! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the chicken, fish, and sides. I wish the grilled chicken came with a sauce but it was seasoned well and cooked just right. The fries were delicious and whatever spice mix is on there tasted great. The kids spaghetti went over well enough. The fried flounder with homemade tartar sauce was the best item we ordered.
Julia — Google review
Food is average. I normally go for the for the disrespectful atmosphere. This was the first time our server was actually not mean. But it was the end of the night, I guess he was ready to go. Not bad service. So I'll definitely go back. Plenty of parking. Good location. They had live music, he wasn't bad.

We had an amazing time at Dick’s Last Resort! Our server, Dr. Noodles (Sebastian), absolutely made the night. We came with a party of 11, and he handled our loud, crazy group perfectly, hilarious, quick, and kept the fun going the whole time. Great food, tons of laughs, and top-notch service with the perfect Dick’s attitude. Definitely ask for Dr. Noodles if you want the full experience!

My grandson wanted to visit Dick's Last Resort for his 16th birthday! As a family we all went all together like 16 people together! The waitress did her job loved the hats she put on everyone! She even took our Kentucky crap right back! I will have to revisit again next time I'm in Myrtle Beach area! Loved the visit!

We took our family on the first dysfunctional family vacation so going to dicks for my 25th birthday dinner seemed like the perfect fit! We got a couple pineapple express (delicious), the flounder nuggets were great but overall the experience was made by “Travis/Tony” (running joke with the server) - we had a 12 yr old, 7 yr old & my 3 yr old daughter with us and all of the kids had a great time. If you’re celebrating a special occasion or just want a fun night out definitely request Tony/Travis LOL! - my only critique is to put more cheese on the nachos!

Bar
Bar 19 Twelve in North Myrtle Beach offers a sophisticated yet relaxed craft experience, with a focus on an extensive bourbon list, creative cocktails, and infused liquors. The drink menu features premium cocktails crafted by a skilled mixologist. The interior exudes intimacy and coziness, while the outdoor area provides a more casual atmosphere overlooking a golf course. The bar is known for its hard-to-find bourbons and also offers other drink options.
So I am not the type to eat at a franchise so my group and I were looking for a local spot. I am very happy to say that we found the GOAT. This place doesn't look like much from the outside but when you walk in you feel right at home. The food was Divine. Jody our waitress was fun and energetic and that food topped it. 5 stars on this trip

We really enjoyed Bar 19 Twelve. There are some really cool smoked cocktail options and the one we ordered, came with a very unique presentation. The food was delicious. The Menu isn’t huge but the prices are fair. The atmosphere was…odd. We couldn’t really tell what they were going for. It wasn’t bad, just odd. Very small inside and but looks like it’s confused if it wants to be fine dining restaurant, neighborhood bar, nostalgic salon style meeting room or something else. We will likely be back though. We feel like we may have enjoyed ourselves more on the outdoor patio.

This small place packs a big vibe. There is a great drink selection with all the high end options available. The food is amazing, I would recommend the deviled eggs & whipped ricotta. If you are looking for a low-key place with upscale vibes then I would definitely recommend checking out this hidden gem!

This restaurant is a MUST in the North Myrtle Beach area! It’s locally owned, the atmosphere is perfect with a beautiful outdoor patio, the chef is brilliant, and the wait staff is incredibly kind and accommodating (especially Britney)! Check it out for yourself :)

Food was good. Ordered bacon wrapped shrimp, caesar salad, and the beef tips with tortellini. It was good, the beef tips were amazing! Really hit the spot... I'd probably explore more food in the area before going back. But I would go back :)

What an absolute treat this place is!!!! My wife and I sat at the bar and had the privilege to talk with both Hannah and Chance. Great service, great drinks, and by far the BEST crabcakes I’ve ever had. I guess with a Chef from Maryland you should expect nothing less. Also had Fried Green Tomatoes, and Deviled Eggs, which were also spot on!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!

The service, food, and atmosphere here is simply ✨perfection✨. There’s not one thing here I would change. The bar is fully stocked from simple Tito’s to top shelf cognac. My grandmother couldn’t have cooked a better meal in her prime. From the appetizers to the main course, you’re going to have to drag me out of this restaurant. I’m insisting on moving in. Call the movers please.

My wife and I had dinner at Bar 19 Twelve and it was one of the most tasteful dinners we have ever had. I had grouper and my wife had the filet mignon which you could cut with a fork. We ask to speak to the manager to express how excellent the meal was and lucky for us the owner Jeff was in and came to our table. He was appreciative of the positive experience we had, and he recommended we visit his other business that is beside Bar 19 Twelve which is Bin 2004 Wine & Tapas. What a great experience, the staff was incredible, and the wine was even better. Jeff and his wife have done an excellence job with both of these businesses. We will definitely be back.

Italian restaurant
Benito's Brick Oven - Pizza & Pasta offers a relaxed dining experience with a menu featuring Italian favorites like pizza, pasta, and baked dishes. The wood-fired oven is the star of the restaurant, producing top-notch pizzas and other Italian delights. Customers can choose from specialty pies or create their own masterpiece. Other popular dishes include chicken florentine lasagna, classic spaghetti and meatballs, shrimp and chicken in pink sauce, and oven-baked sandwiches.
My wife and I love brick oven pizza, so we had to give Benito's a try, and we're so glad we did. We were greeted immediately and seated by the polite and friendly staff. Our server was at our table in just a few minutes to take our drink order, then we placed our pizza order, the "fuggetaboutit". It was delicious and we had leftovers for the next two days. To top it off, we ordered two amazing chocolate drizzled cannolis to go, that we enjoyed later at our camper that were amazing. This will be a staple on our return visits to North Myrtle Beach.

I got delivery, the customer service was amazing! my food came within a reasonable time and my caesar salad's chicken was separated in a plastic container, I got a very generous serving of dressing on the side and the fried ravioli is to die for, even after being delivered. 10/10

Stopped by for dinner on our last day in Myrtle Beach. Had the Big Benito appetizer, lives up to the name. Ordered the small Margherita Pizza, it was pretty big. Wife didn’t like it, I thought the pizza was ok. The staff and servers were very good and friendly.

Will definitely be back next time we’re in NMB. Customer service was excellent on my to-go order. Ordered several pizzas & they were all good! Also got the meatball app. It was three HUGE meatballs & they were so good. They also gave us a loaf of the house bread, which was great because we made little meatball sammies with some of it. There was a dragonfruit mojito on special that i tried while i waited for my pizzas & it was absolutely beautiful & the best mojito I’ve ever had. It’s clear the employees take pride in doing their jobs & serving their customers.

Great place to stop for some brick oven pizza. Fast service and food came out in a timely manner especially ordering 3 pizza. Margarita pizza was delicious personal favorite.

The food was delicious, portions were decent sized, and our 6 year old wants to keep going back for more pizza. The wife and I tend to stick with the pasta dishes. The piatto misto could fill you up without the couple ravioli and stuffed shell it comes with, but they are so good you will be glad they didn't skip them. My wife likes getting the chicken Parm and then taking half home for a sandwich the next day.

Great service and good food overall. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals. I ordered the fried ravioli based on reviews, but it came out cold and wasn’t good—however, the staff handled it well by taking it back and removing it from the bill. Portions are big, and the free house bread is amazing. They even offered to-go drinks, which was a nice touch.

This place gets 5 stars across the board! Moved to the area with my husband a little over a year ago. We have passed by many times but decided to try it out this weekend. Our server, Tony, was absolutely amazing and made the experience even better. Restaurant was very cute and casual inside. Food was amazing! We got the caprese, soup, and split a pizza. The pizza toppings were super fresh and the crust had a great crunch. We will 100% be back.
