Ocean City

Ocean City is a resort town in the U.S. state of Maryland between the Atlantic Ocean and Isle of Wight Bay. It features miles of beach and a wooden boardwalk lined with restaurants, shops and hotels. At the boardwalk's southern end, Trimper’s Rides has hosted theme-park attractions for decades. The surrounding waters are active with kayaks and tour boats, some of which journey to popular Assateague Island nearby.

The Ocean City Boardwalk, established in 1902, is a historic wooden walkway renowned for its variety of eateries, shops, and carnival rides. It offers real-time views of the stunning beachscapes and serves as the gateway to the adventure-packed Jolly Roger Amusement Park. The best time to visit is from late May to early September when you can enjoy average highs in the mid-80s. However, be prepared for crowds and higher hotel rates during this peak season.
Wow! What a gorgeous beach and boardwalk with a variety of shops and activities. We did visit in March, so not all shops etc were open but we could imagine in the summer this place would be so much fun. Despite the time of year/weather we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Hotels are right of the boardwalk making for great views from some of the rooms and easy access to the boardwalk and beach.

6.17.25 this is the best people watching place. We used the large parking lot and the parking app, which is easy to use. It was around $5 per hour to park. And then you just walk as long as you want on the 3 mile boardwalk. There are lots of shops, food venues, hotels, volleyball players etc all around. This is perfect for all ages.
Margaret H — Google review
Ocean City is our yearly vacation and one of the highlights is walking up and down the boardwalk. There are many restaurants to choose from, plenty of shopping available.. both unique shops and your typical souvenir shops. There are people doing airbrushing, karaoke, playing instruments - never a dull moment, always entertaining. The boardwalk is spotless and very well maintained, bikes are available to rent in the mornings so you can exercise or have fun with the family on a quad bike. There is a noticeable police presence and I always feel safe when I'm here.

The Ocean City Boardwalk is a classic East Coast experience. It’s clean, well-kept, and full of great restaurants, shops, and arcades. The beach access is easy, and the views are excellent any time of day. Plenty of family-friendly attractions, from rides and games to bike rentals in the morning. Restrooms were clean and convenient. A must-visit spot if you’re in Ocean City.

This is an amazing location to enjoy a walk, jog or run. Perfect for relaxing, shopping, eating or people watching. A ton of entertainment options and bars. Really something for everyone here, it is the perfect environment for families, couples or individuals. About a 2 mile boardwalk end to end. Very well maintained, no trash in sight
Tyler T — Google review
Best boardwalk on the east coast. Strolling, shopping, dining, street performers, something for everyone. People watching is a favorite pass time with ample benches along the 2.9 mile long promenade.

October 2024 - Great place to explore & walk off season during the day & night. We enjoyed our time here and can’t wait to visit again. No crowds, no traffic, and great weather during the autumn season. We spent our time just walking and doing night photography.

Went for the Sun Festival. It wasn't horrible but wasn't my favorite either. It was crowed. I can see how some might enjoy it but everything was too expensive for my cheap behind. The dog show and all the dogs made it worth it, rating got an extra star cause of them.

Museum
Specialty Museums
The Ocean City Life-Saving Museum, housed in a charming white-and-red building, is dedicated to preserving the history of life-saving efforts along the mid-Atlantic coast. The museum features diverse exhibits including mermaid costumes, a 1210 lb fish, Dolls House models of historic Ocean City homes, artifacts from shipwrecks, and a display on the history of bathing suits and beach toys. Visitors can also explore aquarium tanks showcasing local sea life.
you will be surprised to find how beautiful the ocean city from its history, majority of the founders with the females, the brave one of the history. There is a huge parking next to the building perhaps one of the biggest parking lot that can hold more than 2000 cars. You must go with friends and families. The ticket is five dollar and you don’t need a advanced booking.
Somthing T — Google review
It might look small from the outside, but the exhibits inside are impressively well-organized and packed with information. There are plenty of display boards with artifacts, plus an aquarium room, a kids’ playroom, and a swimwear exhibit. The staff was incredibly friendly—one even offered my kids a paper worksheet with 3–4 questions for each room, encouraging them to read, explore, and discuss. We spent about 1.5 hours completing all the questions, and the kids were thrilled to receive a small bag of shark teeth as a special reward. Such a cool place! Parking was easy on a weekday. Highly recommend.

Very nice museum, much more interesting than I was expecting.
John M — Google review
It's very small and not what I expected. I assumed things about life guards and saving equipment and techniques but that was not the case. But the staff was super friendly and thr room with the fish tanks was so cool.
Joce S — Google review
A beautifully kept station with great USLSS and cultural exhibits. The staff is passionate and informative. This station has a tragic tie to my home station, Chicamacomico Life-Saving Station and Museum, in that one of our Station Keepers, Little Bannister Midgett, lost a son in the line of duty at Ocean City.
Larry G — Google review
It was a really nice museum and I really liked the magic lanterns they had on display.
Rob F — Google review
Great little museum to visit with the wife and kids. Lots unique items and pictures to see having to do with information about OCMD's life saving history as far as the coast guard is concerned from the beginning till the present. Their is a very friendly staff on hand and the museum it self houses everything from a small aquarium to boats used in the past to save lives to samples of sands from around the world. Definitely a must see with 2 floors of so much to look at from floor to ceiling.
Michael M — Google review
I really enjoyed this museum, as I had grown up going to Ocean City from a young child. The displays were easy to read. I enjoyed the pictures and the history of the city. It is worth the visit.

Northside Park, situated on 125th Street and the Bay in Ocean City, is a sprawling 58-acre public recreation area that offers a wide range of amenities for visitors. The park features sports courts, playgrounds, and an indoor facility with a gymnasium.
We were in town for the night and we heard about the lights. This was a fabulous experience for the cost of $6. The displays are nicely done. We enjoyed the gift shop and bought several items. They also had the absolute best hot chocolate ever! I would love to know how it was made! Thanks for helping us make memories.

A favorite spot in OCMD! A nice paved trail for walking, biking, and running. There are large grassy areas for playing ball and there are restrooms / porta potties. You can rent kayaks and SUP boards. There are baseball fields and Lacrosse so you will often find practice or games happening. There is also a pond with fishing area and a little library too. It's usually a very busy spot in the morning and at sunset. Enjoy and keep this park beautiful!
Angela D — Google review
We generally visit this park on Sunday evenings when we visit Ocean City. On Sunday evenings throughout the summer season, they host "Sundaes in the park". It usually starts early Sunday evening 6/7 pm with a family friendly concert of top hits for the whole family to enjoy. Following the concert, they set off fireworks. There's not a bad seat in the park. Just bring a chair or blanket relax and enjoy. Don't forget to visit their ice cream stand for your delicious Sundae while you enjoy the evening.

Water & Amusement Parks
Theme park
Jolly Roger Amusement Park is a family-friendly pay-as-you-go park with various locations in Ocean City. It offers a mix of classic and thrilling rides, including a roller coaster and an antique train from 1952. The park is actually multiple amusement parks rolled into one, providing endless entertainment options for kids and adults alike. Splash Mountain Water Park, the largest water park in Ocean City, features exhilarating slides as well as relaxing pools and lazy rivers.
We had a great time at Jolly Roger’s and would definitely recommend it for families visiting Ocean City! The rides were fun, especially for younger kids, and the park had a good mix of attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was lively and clean. That said, a few things could be better. Some areas felt a bit dated and could use a refresh, and the food options were overpriced. Also, the wait times for certain rides got pretty long by mid-afternoon. Still, overall it was a fun day and worth the visit. Just go early and bring your patience!
Sean F — Google review
It was OK. Make sure that you buy tickets before you get to the park or else you will pay full price. We didn’t have much right for the older kids besides the wildcat and the go karts other than that the kids had a great time. There was a lot of parking we didn’t purchase food because we just had dinner but overall, it was a good experience the only issue was I wish they more rides for older kids. We’re gonna try to go to the pier to see what that one looks like.
Rosa V — Google review
The amusement park was great on 30th street. The staff was friendly and it was well operated. Now the jolly roger on the pier was a whole different story. They continued to operate in the rain until the arcade flooded and we were trapped inside. I got stuck on a ride as it poured and they let the ride finish out. I was slipping in my seat and i have bruises all over my arms from trying to get loose when the operator finally brought the ride down they ran away because of the rain and me and my son had to pull ourselves out of the ride! Very unprofessional and scary!
Hayley D — Google review
I can’t imagine the wear and tear this place endures. Which is why $64/person I felt was more than fair. Until I got inside. Mold everywhere, the chairs the pull ropes for baby area. the kids hair has flicks of blue paint all through it I’m assuming from the chipping paint everywhere. Broken tiles & concrete surround on all of the water attractions. Plenty of food selection & lifeguards seemed attentive. But man, some off season attention is badly needed. Sad.
Christina M — Google review
We come to Jolly Roger a few times a year with our daughter, and the 30th Street location is by far our favorite. The rides might be a little older, but the people and the overall vibe here more than make up for it. The staff is amazing; super friendly and so good with kids. It really feels like a family-oriented place. From the guy who sword fights with the kids at the whale ride to “King” at the Barracuda ride, everyone goes out of their way to make it fun. Our daughter looks forward to seeing King every year; she gets so excited when she spots him! He’s always so kind, fun, and engaging with the kids. One thing we always notice is how clean this location is. You constantly see team members walking around tidying up and keeping everything neat. It really makes a difference and shows they care about the place. Yes, it’s their job; but you can tell they actually enjoy what they do. This spot is all about families, and we’re so grateful for the memories we’ve made here. Can’t wait to come back again!
Stephanie R — Google review
The water park slides are amazing. There is something for everyone. Even splash pads for the tiny Babes. The life guards are diligent, sometimes overly so. The amusement park has so many great rides, but what really gets me is the quality of the prizes. They are beautiful and easy to win. Not stuffed with peanuts. You could spend 2 days and not do it all. Only draw back is the lack of food selection, especially on the water park side. However, you can bring in food.
Britt M — Google review
A very fun park with games for all ages. I had a great time with the activities. The staff was helpful.
Arianna A — Google review
My little ones love jolly Rogers splash world. And we also attended Jolly Roger Amusement Park. Splash world has a ticket deal during the hours 3pm-6pm. The amusement park has a ticket deal during 7pm-11pm. Seating and lockers are available throughout. Lockers are $10.00 and up. vendors are selling hotdogs, fries, funnel cake, cotton candy, burgers, hamburgers, etc. this is surely a day trip and the entire the family will absolutely love it.

This year was my third vacation here. The water at the beach was surprisingly warm, I would say it was warmer than the LI sound. It also isn't extremely crowded, and there are life guards on duty.

WE LOVED OCEAN CITY BEACH IN MD ❤️ When we came up we was expecting the weather to be beautiful but mother nature 🌬️ had other plans. It was sunny but still cool. When the clouds would cover the sun you could definitely tell the difference but all in we still love it. For it to be Memorial Day weekend it wasn’t as packed as I thought it would be maybe because of the weather too.
Vikki M — Google review
Been going to OC since I was a kid, still love it. Had a great weekend with my kids. Water was perfect, sunshine was fine, beach was clean and so was the water. We were at 19th street. A big reason I prefer OC is the lifeguards. We swam during their hours.

OC beach is the best. The beach was clean and well maintained with lots of food, stores and fun options on the board walk. The beach is free with life guards on duty. You can spend a whole day here with family or friends.

What a nice place! We spend an entire afternoon here and the place wasn't too crowded, and it was surprisingly easy to find parking! It wasn't too expensive either, about $4.50 for an hour. We swam, played in the sand, and found some nice seashells. We even got to see dolphins in the water!! I will definitely come back :)

Wine store
Liquid Assets Bistro is a hidden gem located within a beer and wine shop, offering upscale American cuisine in a casual and friendly setting. The circular bar serves an array of martinis, wines, and beers, including domestic, imported, and craft brews. The menu features delicious dishes such as roasted chicken with black-eyed peas and fried shrimp with chorizo grits. This award-winning restaurant is popular among locals but remains relatively under the radar.
Spur of the moment we decided to walk up for dinner tonight. Was glad we did. Started with the Tasting Board. Good selection of meats and cheese. My main was the Angus short rib french onion pot pie. I was very happy with the portion size and flavor. My wife had the La burger and she said it was fantastic. Our server was very attentive and offered her suggestion on the two dishes I was stuck between.

Came for dinner around 6PM and it was quite busy. Was surprisingly seated immediately. Lighting inside is quite dark but not too difficult to navigate. Ordered the Potato and Parmesan Croquettes for starters. It comes with 5 pieces. Wish it came with 6 for an even split. I would skip this as it wasn’t too flavorful or remarkable even with the sauce. Main entree was the Pan Seared Shrimp Risotto. This was good and I would recommend trying it! You get quite a lot of risotto compared to other restaurants, though I do think it’s a bit pricey. If I get it next time, I’d ask to take out the peas. I felt like the peas did not contrast too well with the overall flavor of the dish. I’d recommend making reservations if you visit since it can get busy!

Liquid Assets is a stylish wine bar and upscale American restaurant located in the 94th Street Plaza. It's open Sunday through Thursday from 11:30 AM to 10 PM, and until 11:00 PM on Friday and Saturday. It was my friend's turn to choose a dinner spot, so when she suggested Liquid Assets, I was pretty excited. It had been on my list for a while, and I'd heard nothing but stellar reviews. For appetizers, we ordered the Kung Pao Calamari and Crispy Korean Ribs. The calamari is served with carrots, fennel, jalapeño, radish, and lime, all arranged on a sweet and spicy sauce. It was unique and fried to perfection! The ribs were tender, beautifully seasoned, and easily some of the best I've had anywhere. For the main course, we chose the pan-seared jumbo shrimp risotto, 10 oz Angus bistro steak, and Angus short rib French onion pot pie. The shrimp were perfectly seared, plump, and full of flavor, and the risotto was rich, creamy, and decadent. The steak was cooked to temperature, but it was a touch on the dry side. However, the pot pie more than made up for it, with melt-in-your-mouth short ribs, fresh vegetables, a flaky crust, and a rich, savory broth that brought everything together. Ultimately, the food was truly exceptional, and I'm happy to say the service matched it. The entire staff was warm and welcoming, and our server, Ben, was personable, professional, and impressively attentive throughout the evening.
Josh H — Google review
After a long day of forgetting to apply sunscreen on the beach, Liquid Assets is a great place to go to for relaxation, a phenomenal selection of custom charcuterie boards, and a great selection of wine and other beverages. I have been coming to Liquid Assets since they opened. Their selection of wine is the best around. Always great to talk to Denver and get a recommendation on a wine to try with our charcuterie board. He is outstanding. I just really appreciate his willingness to stop what he is doing, talk to us, and give us his thoughts. For this visit, like many others, the service was impeccable. While on this occasion, we were only doing happy hour, we have eaten in the restaurant several times and the food is outstanding. I would recommend that you come early if you want to get a great seat. It does get crowded quickly, and note it is a much older crowd in the bar area. They have a selection of wines and drinks on the menu, but I prefer to grab something off of the shelf and pay the corkage fee. Again, the selection is outstanding with varieties from all over the world. Like many of the other places I have reviewed in Ocean City, Maryland, this is another one of my favorites. For me, it is one of the places I must stop every time I visit, and I recommend you do the same.

Fantastic Experience – Liquid Assets, Ocean City MD Liquid Assets is always a standout dining experience in Ocean City. From start to finish, the service and food were exceptional. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and had a wonderful personality — she kept our table clear with a smile and made sure everything we needed was taken care of quickly. The food was outstanding. We started with wings that had a flavorful dry rub — perfectly seasoned and cooked. For our entrée, we ordered the Carolina pulled pork, which came with coleslaw, fries, and grilled bread — a consistent favorite that never disappoints. The attention to detail really impressed us; when we packed up leftovers, our waitress added fresh fries to our take-home bag without even being asked — such a thoughtful touch! We ended the meal by sharing a berry-topped bread pudding that was absolutely amazing — the perfect finish to a great meal. If you’re looking for excellent service, delicious food, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, Liquid Assets is a must-visit in Ocean City.

I devoured my food, so unfortunately I didnt get any pictures.. but the Amish fried chicken was incredible! The bartenders (Joe and another fellow) were cool and helped me adjust the meal to fit my allergy needs (which are extensive). Glad I came in and would definitely want to come back!

A liquor store / gourmet restaurant. Whether you are looking for a bottle of wine or a perfectly cooked steak - this is for you. The Caesar salad is amazing - add some steak. The short rib pot pie is delicious. But if you don’t try the donut ice cream sandwich - you missed out

Restaurant
Hooked is an upscale restaurant located on Coastal Hwy, offering a delightful dining experience with its great wine list, attentive service, and fantastic New American fare. The restaurant is known for its seriously above-average seafood menu featuring dishes like Day Boat Scallops and Town And Dock Calamari. In addition to the outstandingly fresh seafood, Hooked also offers a fantastic selection of specialty cocktails such as the Banana Bread Martini and Burnt Old Fashioned.
Stopped here on a whim as the overview and ratings seemed positive. Wow! Everything was amazing! This is my new favorite restaurant, possibly of all time. What a gem! Thank you!! Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about the locally sourced ingredients on the menu.
Amy M — Google review
Hooked was a nice, classy, seafood restaurant one street of the boardwalk. The service was good, Emily was attentive and suggestive to the table the entire time. The other restaurant staff appeared to be standing around; sometimes to many staff for the space in the restaurant. The food was delicious… ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. Took a while to be served but the quality definitely matched the service time. One thing that stood out to me was happy hour, good drinks and good deals. Note: only 3 deviled eggs come with the happy hour menu; that’s 1/2 slices of egg for $4 (delicious but not worth it) Overall I recommend the fish taco, chicken sandwich, wings, and crushes. Definitely give them a visit!
Ralph I — Google review
We stopped by Hooked during our travels through Ocean City and were so glad we did! The atmosphere is laid-back and coastal, perfect for a beach-town dining experience. The service was friendly. We tried the street corn and beet salad for appetizers, and fish tacos for entree—each dish was incredibly fresh and packed with bursting flavors. The street corn had the perfect mix of smoky, creamy, and tangy flavors. The fish taco was a standout—crispy, well-seasoned fish with spicy mayo. And the beet salad was simply out-of-the-world!! So refreshing, beautifully presented, and balanced with just the right amount of sweetness and crunch. You can tell the ingredients are high quality and the kitchen really knows what they are doing. If you're in Ocean City and looking for something a little more creative and refined than the typical boardwalk fare, Hooked is 100% worth a stop! We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

It was our first time here at this restaurant. It was highly recommended to us and I’m glad we came here. The atmosphere, the service and the food were just amazing. The crab cake, the wings, the pesto fries, their burger; even the focaccia bread with old bay olive oil was amazing. We also celebrated our son’s 13th birthday and they were so kind to bring out a key lime cheese cake with candles. I highly recommend Hooked to anyone visiting here. I shall return!

Ordered takeout. The staff who handled my to go meal were great and pleasant. Timing was great and food was packed well. One star because I ordered the grilled corn appetizer and was given something that looked like it was meant for barn animals as an afterthought. I've never even shucked a corn cob in a grocery store this skinny/inedible. My wife even tried a few bites to see if we were somehow mistaken. What a waste of $8 and an insult. Look at it in comparison to the size of my fork and an asparagus....

Let’s start with the Atmosphere… Very nice, very quiet, smooth music, awesome views of Coastal Hgwy. The food. Well we had the fish and chips which weren’t your ordinary fish and chips. The presentation, the design, and the overall taste were elegant. Very flavorful. No seasonings needed. The service was awesome no one bothering you, or rushing you. Laid back and smiling servers. I’d recommend trying this place when in the Ocean City area.

Seafood restaurant
Harrison's Harbor Watch is an upscale restaurant and raw bar that has been a prominent dining spot in Ocean City for over 30 years. It offers a wide selection of local and classic seafood dishes with stunning panoramic views of the ocean. The restaurant takes pride in its authentic raw bar, featuring the freshest off-the-boat seafood, including in-season fish like Flounder, Swordfish, Tuna, and Mahi Mahi.
We ordered the crab dip and it was delicious very hot the bread was also very satisfying. We also got the snow crab legs which did not disappointed and neither did the coconut shrimp and their pineapple dip. The sides were also delicious I recommend the cucumber salad and mashed potatoes. Our waitress was on point with everything. The only thing I didn't like was their lemonade.

We were at the beach and I google seafood restaurant. This one pop up because it was the closes. The atmosphere was really cool! Our waitress was very nice. It was her first day on the floor and she did amazing! My food came back cold and she got me a new plate! She also gave me a discount for my cold food which I appreciate even though I didn’t ask for it. I wish her much success during the busy season! The food was okay you can tell it’s not fresh seafood but frozen food just heated up. The best thing that we ate were the crab dip appetizer.

Hailey was our server and she was amazing! Super personable, sweet, attentive, just all around the best server! The food was PHENOMENAL!!!! The best crab cake in Ocean City! The views are breathtaking, especially at sunset. I also want to give a shout out to the manager Denise, such a sweet and friendly woman who has an amazing wait staff. She even came over to our table to check on us and talk to us for a bit. They made us feel like their own family while we were there🥰 I cannot recommend this place enough. We will definitely be back next year!!!

We had the Cheese sticks. These were just basic, nothing special. For dinner I had the Ribeye and my wife the Crab Imperial. Steak was good and cooked exactly how I wanted. Wife loves the Crab dish. It was rainy so we can’t say anything about the view but I bet it’s really nice on a clear day. Overall good experience.

We had a pleasant experience overall. There was a group of about thirty of us including adults and kids. There was something for everybody to be happy with. There was a decent selection of beers and other drinks. We shared the oysters and they were fresh and tasty. I ordered the crab cake on a sandwich roll. This was tasty, but not as good as others that I’ve had on this same trip in the area. My wife ordered the salmon and she said it was the most “plain piece of fish” she’s ever ordered at a restaurant. Other than these two comments, it was still a good restaurant.
Cybil S — Google review
We were sat on the second floor, which had great views of the ocean. The atmosphere of the restaurant itself was a little lackluster, but the large windows and dolphins swimming just off the coast meant that we gave the decor little thought. The one thing that we did take note of, was that the presentation of the food could use some improvement. Small plastic cups for sides, while leaving the majority of the plate bare was a little odd. All of the food we ordered was properly prepared, however there was nothing that really stood out. The crab cake in particular was not the best I’ve had. It’s true that there are no fillers, however the cake was dryer than I’d expect and used particularly small pieces of crab.

The culinary experience was exceptional. The seafood selection showcased remarkable freshness. The provision of unlimited side dishes is a highly appreciated feature. The bread was also of excellent quality. Furthermore, the service we received was outstanding.

Staff was very friendly, we were early for our reservation and they accommodated. There was a lovely view of the water and your right on the end of the boardwalk. Delicious food, and even though the place was packed you didn’t feel cramped. We will definitely make it a point to stop if we are in Maryland.

Seacrets is a vibrant waterfront destination featuring multiple dance floors, tropical drinks, and Caribbean-inspired cuisine. It's a sprawling complex with various bars and nightclubs all in one place, including stages for live entertainment and an outdoor area where guests can float on the bay while enjoying signature rumrunners. The venue also houses an onsite distillery that offers tours and produces its own line of gin, vodka, and rum.
After years of hearing about this place, we finally went two weeks ago. I had always assumed it was some kind of dive bar and was surprised when it was recommended as an early afternoon lunch spot with the entire family. I can’t say enough about how great it turned out to be. We went with a group of 10 and were seated in one of those awesome large round tables surrounded by tropical plants. The menu was absolutely delicious and the drinks were fresh! We tried a little of everything from the jerk chicken to the Philly, a cheese and fruit platter to the crab cakes and seafood platter. My drink was an absolutely delicious banana mixer. Our waitress was amazing and the vibes were fun! We appreciated all the security, even on a casual afternoon, as it gave a sense of peace to enjoy the place knowing no over-served customers would be wandering. We already can’t wait to go back!

A very interesting place! The atmosphere goes from rock concert to quiet dining in one giant place. The wait time wasnt as bad as it seemed it would be, even with a line. So many great views to be had no matter where you sit. The waitress was friendly, standard nachos were amazing with multiple layers (instead of only cheese on top), crab toast (pizza) was delicious, and the wrap was good. I would definitely like to return and try something else.

Loved it! The painkiller was amazing! We had some nachos which were actually quite good pretty cheesy. The birds were fun to watch especially when they decided to clear the table after another group left. I've been here before when they had music in the evening and it's definitely a place you have to experience. Always have a blast when I go to secrets

Highly recommend! Food is excellent, as was the music and overall vibe. Just know you can't eat in the water - the tables in the water only serve drinks. Fish tacos were amazing, as was the Dotsy's Delight crab dip and the nachos. Drinks were great too!

Seacets is an experience like no other! Once inside (outside), you are whisked away to a tropical paradise! We had a booth by the live music and a breathtaking few of the sunset over the bay. The food was amazing and the drinks were yummy! A must stop while in Ocean City, Maryland. 🌺⛱️🍍🌞

Very beautiful atmosphere. We had a chance to sit in the water and enjoy drinks. I've been here and free times and have always enjoyed myself. They usually have a DJ and sometimes a live band performing. I can't wait to go again!

This place is large and has a great idea, but the area I was in was not so great. It's a semi-outdoor venue, but there is still a layer of dust that's been there for a minute in the restaurant area. You can see cobwebs that have been there for sometime. I had the Jerked Chicken Cheese-steak, which was fine, but seemed a bit overpriced. Also I've been sick since Monday night (It's possible that I just can't handle the spices). The Bar Area is cool and their own beer tasted like fruit loops, really liked it. The docks are great and having a drink in the water is pretty great too. Also, myself and my girlfriend had to pay a cover fee to get in since 'they had live music', but the other two in our party were able to just walk in to the restaurant. It wasn't much, but when we just came for dinner I don't understand why I had to pay. At the end of the day, this place was just kinda mid.

The Hobbit Restaurant, located in Ocean Side, Maryland, offers a cozy and elegant dining experience with a stunning view of Assawoman Bay. This hidden gem is known for its excellent seafood dishes, including sauteed clams and seared scallops, as well as creative takes on traditional favorites like crab cakes. The restaurant's sophisticated atmosphere and carefully prepared menu featuring succulent steaks and fresh seafood reflect a fusion of traditional and modern culinary techniques.
Fantastic experience at The Hobbit Restaurant! Our server, Luke, was incredibly friendly and made our visit even better. The food was delicious—especially the short rib, which was out of this world! We also loved the beef carpaccio and the fried green tomatoes. For dessert, their famous sweet treat was a must-try and absolutely tasty! The views were stunning, making it a perfect night out. We can't wait to come back! Highly recommend! 🌟

I came here for my sister’s bachelorette and had a fantastic experience. Food was incredible, as were the cocktails. The LOTR theming was tasteful and charming and we got to enjoy a fireworks show during dinner (put on by a nearby restaurant every Saturday night)! I had the Cherry Clover Club and the Peach Blossom Cosmo, and both were perfection. I also had the duck with peaches and lyonnaise potatoes, which was delicious. Our server Matt was attentive and personable and took care to make our dinner experience great. Runners and other staff were great as well! Highly recommend dining here if you’re in Ocean City!

The Hobbit is an upscale American and seafood restaurant located in the Rivendell Condominium building on 81st Street. It's open Sunday through Thursday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and from 4:30 PM to 9:30 PM Friday and Saturday. My friends and I had a list of spots to try this year, and this one was at the top. We'd heard nothing but great things, so I'm happy to say it didn't disappoint. All the food was enjoyable and our server Vern made sure we were well taken care of. We kicked things off with the Cherry Bomb Calamari and the Scallops Tagliatelle. The calamari, topped with toasted coconut and served with Shanghai aioli, was good, but the tagliatelle was the standout. Perfectly seared dayboat scallops paired with housemade tagliatelle in a truffle butter sauce, with peas, pancetta, Parmesan, and a drizzle of jus gras. Rich, fresh, and beautifully balanced. Next, I tried the cream of crab soup, made with fresh Maryland jumbo lump crab meat. The flavor was rich and well-balanced, but I did encounter a few shell fragments. A truly great bowl of cream of crab should be smooth and shell-free. For our entrees, we ordered the smoked cheddar pierogies, the red wine braised short rib, and the filet mignon. While everything was delicious, the filet was by far the best. You can choose from three preparation styles, we had it blackened, and it was cooked and seasoned to absolute perfection. It's a dish I'd happily come back for.

Food was absolutely delicious. We got calamari, fried green tomatoes, Caesar salad, pierogies, short ribs, scallops, and two kids meals. Everyone loved their food. Pierogies, scallops, and fried green tomatoes were my favorite, unreal. Service was super fast, which was great since we had sleepy kids! Views were gorgeous. A great night.

An absolutely impeccable dining experience. Our waiter Tim was polite and on point, terrific service. We’ve eaten at The Hobbit before so we knew it would be exceptional. My husband had the catch of the day, Swordfish; and I chose the Stuffed Filet. Delicious! We each started with a salad, Roasted Beet for him and Wedge for myself, they were both great. Our wine and dessert cocktails were fantastic and you can see how generous of a portion desserts are served. I highly recommend dining at The Hobbit, it’s a wonderful experience with delicious food!

Food was amazing, service was amazing and atmosphere was amazing. An amazing night for a birthday dinner for our 18 year old. Coconut cream pie was also…you guessed it amazing. Will be back when we are here again in October can’t wait!

6.15.25 We made reservations. Parking was close by. Upon walking in, we were greeted and walked directly to our seats. Our waitress was fabulous. She was genuinely good at her job. There were 3 filet mignon variations to choose from, and they're served with mashed potatoes and green beans. The 8oz grilled filet is $59. The $17 beet salad was delicious, as were the short ribs. Needless to say, overall, this was a perfect experience. For 3 adults, we spent around $315, but it was worth it.
