Restaurant
The Bayside Skillet, located in Ocean City, MD, is a popular breakfast spot known for its festive patio dining and delicious menu offerings. This outlet is celebrated for its friendly service, generous portions, and mouthwatering dishes that leave patrons eager to return for another satisfying meal. The restaurant is also praised for its welcoming staff and accommodating nature. Additionally, it's a pet-friendly establishment with a special menu section dedicated to kids of all ages.
Our second time here and the crepes were amazing as usual. Didn't get the Blintz this time but was happy with what we ordered(hot crepes, omelete and dirty banana crepes). Service was great and quick. The outdoor patio spot which is heated definitely helped us on the cold morning. We come back for the amazing view as well. They have a decent number of parking spots too.

Food was amazing. Service was of quality. Atmosphere and aesthetics could use some improving. Overall, a great experience! The portion sizes are HUGE to ask for sharable plates. Please try the drinks, they are absolutely the freshest on the strip! If you need a recommendation all the omelets are super good; start there and work your way up.
Ralph I — Google review
Bayside Skillet is easily one of my favorite places in Ocean City, MD – a true go-to spot that I find myself coming back to every single trip. By now, I’ve tried almost everything on their menu, and I can honestly say that everything here is fantastic. Let’s start with my absolute favorite: their Hot Dutch Apple Crepes. They are pure comfort food – warm, buttery, loaded with cinnamon-spiced apples, and topped with slivered almonds. If I could only order one thing for the rest of my life here, this would be it. That said, you really can’t go wrong with any of their crepes. Whether you’re in the mood for something sweet like fruit or chocolate crepes, or craving savory options like seafood crepes, they do it all perfectly. The Banana Royale Crepes are a safe choice when you want something classic, and the hot crepes are all excellent – rich, flavorful, and filling without being heavy. Their strawberry lemonade is hands-down the best in Ocean City — made from fresh strawberries and so refreshing. I order it every single time. The rest of the menu is packed with variety and creativity, so there’s something for every mood, from hearty omelets to decadent desserts. The food always comes out quickly, even when they’re busy, and the portions are generous. The servers are friendly, attentive, and make the experience even better — I’ve had consistently great service here over the years. One of my favorite personal traditions is buying one of their mugs every time I visit. I’ve started a growing collection in different colors, and it always reminds me of the great memories I’ve had here. If you’re visiting Ocean City, Bayside Skillet is a must-stop. Whether it’s breakfast, brunch, or just a crepe-and-lemonade break, this place never disappoints. It’s the perfect mix of great food, great vibes, and a little tradition.

Food is really good! Omelettes are awesome! I had the Lump Crab Omelette. Turkey sausage was really good! Robert waited on us. Super friendly and helpful! They don’t do toast or pancakes. Really spacious place! Also Terick was great!
Thomas C — Google review
This is my first time at the Bayside Skillet. It's been here in Ocean City since 1977, nearly half a century. I've been to Ocean City hundreds of times in the past half century. I should have come to the Bayside Skillet before. It's excellent. There's a big free parking lot out front. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. They have a great kids menu. The food is amazing, and the portions are generous. Our server was attentive without being overbearing. I heartily recommend The Bayside Skillet.
Henry F — Google review
My Greek omelet was amazing! So much feta. And that side crepe, Bayside Skillet’s version of toast…what a nice touch! As someone who is in OCMD all the time, we tried this again to remember. And I’m almost shocked we forgot! The fresh squeezed oj is so good. The omelet was so good…and it was ginormous. My husband and I coulda shared but we were hungry. The staff was friendly and courteous checking on us frequently. And today’s weather with that outside setting on the bay was perfection!! I chose peanut butter for my crepe so it was a dessert to my eggs! So yum and the perfect place to kickstart a day date!
Michele L — Google review
Okay Food& Service… We went to The BaySide Skillet for breakfast. They only had different variations of crepes, Omelet and breakfast meat(bacon! Sausages etc) . I ordered The Kathryn Crepes; it was a lot& good. The fresh squeezed OJ was good too. The reason for 3 stars. Con: can’t order 1or 2 scrambled eggs only omelettes( 4 eggs) which was too much. Can’t order regular pancakes only crepes. The name is Bayside Skillet; I thought they would have more breakfast options. Lastly the decor was colorful; the carpet needs to go.
Kellie P — Google review
Decent place for omelets with quick, friendly service. Food comes out fast, portions are generous, and the staff keeps things moving even when it’s busy. Great stop for a solid breakfast if you’re in the area.

Bad Monkey OC is a spacious American spot in Ocean City, known for its seasonal availability and offering pub grub, cocktails, and a gift & apparel shop. The restaurant prides itself on being the home of beautiful breakfast, serving classic staples as well as unique dishes like Cold Brew Crepes and Sunny Side of the Bay. With quality ingredients used throughout the menu, each dish is crafted with flair to create a symphony of flavors.
My only complaint was that the portions were too big!! Got the Bloody Mary, which felt quite weak but tasted good! We also got the cinnamon pancakes and breakfast tacos. The pancakes were awesome, but they were huge and you get three of them, so maybe consider sharing with like 3 people. The breakfast tacos were also very good! Otherwise, the service was good and the food and drinks came out super quickly. Highly recommend as a breakfast spot!
Mari — Google review
I came here with 4 people, our server was nice and so was the food. I got some looks from a few guys but I could easily blow that off. The seating is a little weird where I sat, it had a bench on one side and chairs on the others. The food dishes are on the larger side but prices are decent. I got the redneck monkey which was 2 pieces of bread with a sunny side egg in the middle and then chip beef on top and home fries on the side. They're sweet tea is amazing. Definitely somewhere you wanna visit while your on vacation. They also sell t shirts which are a little pricey but cute.
Ashlynn M — Google review
Cool spot for breakfast. The location itself is bright, colorful and trendy and ridiculously well branded. I had the Omelet with ribeye, bacon and scrapple - while I'm not ascrapple guy, this was pretty decent. The home fries were great and the toast on homemade bread was delightful. Coffee was tasty - they only have coconut milk for anyone who is lactose intolerant, so just know before you go! The lump crab omelet was good and the cinnamon sugar pancake was delicious. Good solid spot. Recommended. ** Sat outdoors, which was nice - but got ridiculous hot after awhile as the sun shifted, just a heads up! Also, gift shop downstairs.

Bad Monkey is always awesome. 2 for 1 deal for drinks is always a must. The food is incredible too. Recently got the patty melt and blew me away. Fries are also insane. Thin and crispy. Never had an issue waiting. And there merch store is great. My girlfriend got a BLT salad which was also on par. The bread is out of the world good. Need to get something with the bread. Bartender was friendly and welcoming. Shout to Nate for a great experience

We visited twice while in town for the weekend. Once for lunch, second time for breakfast. Service was good both times. Lunch was good and the salad portion was huge for the price! Family said their sandwiches were the best they've had in a long time! Breakfast was good, too. Although not as raved about. The redneck money was 2 huge slice of bread with just a little cream chipped beef. A lot of bread for just a little sauce. Pancakes were great! On a side note, the menu is limited for those that are gluten free, as I am. I could have customized my meals a little.l, but still, limited for gluten free people. Atmosphere was nice! Thankfully, it was a cooler weekend and we didn't mind being outside to dine. Might be a different story if it were hotter. Also, parking is really limited. There's an overflow parking lot behind the restaurant about half a block or so. Merchandise was cute but a little overpriced for us.
Rebecca — Google review
Love this place! Excellent food always, lord of fries and their cheesesteak is one of a kind! The bloody Mary definitely looked tasty although I don't care for cucumber/pickle juice and unfortunately, this is in their mix, and I ordered a almond joy, which was delicious!
Melisa C — Google review
We were there today morning for breakfast, they call it “Beautiful Breakfast “ and indeed it is!! We were offered water and Monkey Bread 😀😀 it’s like cinnamon sugar dumpling .. tasty!! Their portion sizes are very decent (big for me) their 4eggs veggie omelette which comes with their bread and salted white butter very delicious and filling .. we also ordered avocado toast which came with sautéed mushrooms and arugula. Overall if you are looking for a hearty breakfast then this is a great place .. pS: place is dog friendly.

Our first time here. The food 🥘 and the service were absolutely great; price was right as well. But I must warn all you patrons out there, it’s absolutely not worth the wait that can run for a solid one hour or more.

Restaurant
The Little House of Pancakes is a charming American café located on 74th Street, where breakfast is served all day long. This delightful spot offers an impressive selection of over 20 pancake varieties, including unique options like candy pancakes featuring M&Ms and Snickers. Their take on Pigs in a Blanket—sausage links wrapped in fluffy hot cakes—is a must-try!
I've been coming to OCMD for years and never at the the Little House of Pancakes. We decided to try it for breakfast as they also have lunch and dinner because they advertise pizza and ribs. The inside reminds me of Dough Rollers and so do the pancakes. The food was fantastic. We had the best breakfast all week here. Plenty of food for the money. Pancakes were moist and delicious. Everything was fresh and affordable. The inside is a little on the small side so don't wait until later to have breakfast as this place will fill up fast. We saw people waiting here a few days for breakfast. We saw some outdoor seating as well but again not much. If you like omelets, pancakes and waffles for breakfast you can't go wrong here.
Eric W — Google review
There's indoor and outdoor dining. The waffle and strawberries were very good. The home fries were undercooked, but everything else was good. This a casual restaurant that's great for all ages.
Margaret H — Google review
Don't go with high expectations. Just solid traditional breakfast food. I got the French daybreak and a Irish coffee. The French toast left more to be desired but the Irish Coffee was very Irish how I like it. I would recommend for a solid breakfast meal. Christina was a good server.
Evan D — Google review
Very good food. Friendly staff. We were a party of 6 and the gratuity was already included and we had put in for the tip, the waitress came back to let us know we overpaid. However due to her honesty we gave her the extra tip. Will come here again!
Stephanie A — Google review
Little House of Pancakes is such a great spot! The food was delicious, everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. You can tell they really care about what they serve. The pancakes were fluffy, the eggs were perfect, and the whole meal just hit the spot. The staff was incredibly nice and welcoming. Everyone had a smile on their face and made sure we were taken care of the whole time. The atmosphere gives off that classic diner vibe, cozy, friendly, and just the right amount of old-school charm. The place was spotless, too. Clean tables, clean floors, and everything felt well-kept and inviting. It’s also very family-friendly, which makes it a perfect spot to bring kids or enjoy breakfast with friends. Overall, just a really good place with great food, great people, and great vibes. Highly recommend stopping by!
John S — Google review
Very cozy oldies/vintage atmosphere, the pricing for the food was more than fair and for the portion you received was a really good bang for your buck. The food was phenomenal, perfectly cooked, generously portioned and tasted fresh and homemade, none of that frozen pre-made stuff. I was truly impressed by the quality of the food coming from the great chef himself, Tommy. Hats off to that guy, he knows how to COOK he can make a mean meal, amazing Chef and super friendly. Our server, Marilyn was super duper friendly and her hospitality was unmatched as an amazing waitress. If I could give more than 5 stars to this restaurant and the staff, I would. This is now my go to breakfast place in all of Ocean City.
Bryan M — Google review
Great breakfast spot that exceeded our expectations. The name is a little quirky (pancakes and ribs, odd combination) and had us a bit skeptical, but our concern was soon put to rest. The atmosphere was cozy, inviting and comfortable. They were fairly busy for breakfast, but had a table ready and waiting for us. From the host at the front door, to our server, to the manager who stopped by our table the service was excellent. Our server, Marilyn was absolutely outstanding!! When we unexpectedly ran into cousins who were visiting OC the same weekend, she waiting patiently as we conversed and caught up on family business. When we were finished she instantly appeared ready to take our order. She answered all our questions about menu items, gave suggestions and accurately took and delivered our orders. She stopped by frequently to check on us, but not so much as to be a nuisance. The food was excellent as well. Expertly prepared and very tasty. The overall experience was fantastic and we look forward to returning when we visit OC again.
Bobtony — Google review
This is my new favorite breakfast spot in all of ocean city. The server, wish I could remember her name (black hair and glasses) she was an absolute pleasure. She was quick to greet us saying she will be over in a few minutes. The place was busy around 12pm but we were hungry for breakfast food. She took our order and was such a kind, friendly, so in tune with the customers. We had an excellent experience on that Sunday, so we decided to go again monday. This time there was only 1 family that was there. Same waitress so filled with energy we shared some laughs and had a good time. I hope she gets to read this and know how we appreciate her.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Ocean City’s Boardwalk, Brass Balls Saloon has been a cherished destination since 1980. This lively establishment offers a delightful array of classic American cuisine served throughout the day, making it perfect for any meal. With its full bar and an enticing cocktail menu, it's an ideal spot to unwind after a sun-soaked day at the beach.
We always make sure to stop here on our annual visit to Ocean City, MD. It’s right on the boardwalk so you get a great view of the ocean as you’re eating. Got seated quickly, like usual. The service is very friendly and attentive. Food was great, I really like the fish tacos. Kids meal portions are good size, and come in a little bucket for the kids to take home. My wife enjoyed her Philly cheesesteak. Drinks were good, not too strong. Price wise it’s on par with similar establishments in the area. We will keep coming back every year.
BaronZ — Google review
Pleasantly surprised by the food. Everything tasted good. We sat outside which was kinda cold because of the breeze from the ocean but still a nice night on the boardwalk. It was so windy stuff kept flying off our table. Very friendly server. Atmosphere was chill. Family-friendly. Very quick service.

Came for the drinks, stayed for the food. Had the turkey club and the Chesapeake Bay sandwich - grilled chicken with crab dip. Both were delicious. Fries were perfectly crunchy. Love that the gift shop is right there. Fun, quirky decor kept us entertained while we waited for our food. It came so fast we have to return so we can read the rest of the signs! Slightly disappointed in our drinks. All we could really taste was the Sprite and juice.

Next time I'm in Ocean City, I will definitely be returning. Tried both the Shrimp and Fish tacos. The shrimp tacos were fantastic. Fish tacos were also good. The Chowder was decent too. We were seated fast and service was fast too! Very friendly service too.

surprisingly one of the best meals we had in OC! we were shocked by how good everything was, and more affordable than other places on the water. we were seated immediately on the upstairs outdoor patio at 7pm. service was quick and efficient, and our server checked in on us often too. the nachos appetizer and waffle fries were so good. definitely recommend!
Kira S — Google review
Amazing experience! Sat outside on the boardwalk to eat and had an awesome time! I got the coconut shrimp and they were phenomenal. Service could have been a lot better as our waitress didn't do nothing, but check in on us after we were all but done eating. But other than that no complaints! Would highly recommend to stop at while visiting OC!

We love visiting this restaurant. They have fun outdoor seating with ocean views. The food is freshly cooked and made to order. Everything is delicious 😋. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We found the prices to be reasonable. The kids meals come in a bucket! Highly recommend!

We only stopped for drinks and they didn’t disappoint!! The drinks were spot on with plenty of alcohol and flavor. Drinks are very reasonably priced and the bartender was very attentive. We didn’t order any food but it all looked delicious. The place is decorated with lots of cool stuff. Definitely check this place out in Ocean City MD

Sahara Cafe is a beloved local spot on Baltimore Avenue in Ocean City, known for its hearty breakfast and lunch offerings. The family-owned establishment serves up classic all-day breakfast dishes like pancakes and omelets, as well as traditional menu items. Customers appreciate the friendly staff and generous portions of comfort food. The cafe's specialties include sausage roll-ups, strawberry or blueberry stacks, thick Belgian waffles, and delicious pancake options.
Classic diner experience just steps away from the boardwalk. We had a great time at this diner. The staff were friendly and prompt, the atmosphere was what you would expect from a small diner, and the food was exactly what we came for. I usually get the scrapple when trying a new diner… you never know what you are going to get. This isn’t the best scrapple I’ve had, but for an area that isn’t all in on scrapple, I’d say it was pretty good. Everything else was exactly what we were looking for.

The place was hopping when we visited on Saturday about an hour before closing time. Food came out quick and the service was good. Food was okay. Coffee was piping hot and stayed hot throughout most the meal.
TodayIsOurAdventure — Google review
Nice cafe in downtown OC. The service was quick and we did not have to wait for a table. I would imagine during peak season, there would be a wait. The food was quick to come out. The downside - fairly expensive. Breakfast for 3 ppl was $63. I ordered sausage gravy- which came over one biscuit and hash browns, $15. Drinks are just shy of $4 each. A side of scrapple (my fav) was $5 and you only get one piece! You can buy a whole package of scrapple for that price. Not sure if we would come back, it’s just too expensive for what you get and there are cheaper places nearby.

Sahara Cafe is a laid-back brunch spot located on North Baltimore Avenue. It's open Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 12:30 PM, Friday until 1:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 1:30 PM. I visited a few years ago and remembered it as a great place for breakfast, so I was glad to see it still lives up to the memory. The food was fresh, clearly made with care, and our server, Jessica, was warm, friendly, and attentive. This time, I went with the Chesapeake Crab Benedict, featuring lump crab meat and Canadian bacon layered on a toasted English muffin, topped with two perfectly poached eggs and a rich hollandaise sauce. It came with a side of golden, crispy hash browns. Delicious!

Fun little place, quick parking, easy to access. I didn't expect to find good biscuits and gravy up here but, it was wonderful!!

We always have breakfast here at the end of the week when we leave Ocean City, it's become our tradition! Food is always good! Love the BLT and the hash browns are great! Massive amounts of food, you will be completely full when you leave! Service is always good, the staff are super nice, very cozy place. Always a great time and the prices aren't bad when you have a large group!

Nestled in the heart of Ocean City, Happy Jack Pancake House has been a beloved breakfast and lunch destination for over 50 years. This family-owned gem is renowned for its extensive menu featuring more than twenty varieties of pancakes and waffles, alongside delicious omelets and French toast. It's a perfect spot for families, with a dedicated kids' menu that offers fun pancake creations topped to perfection. For those with dietary preferences, Happy Jack also provides an impressive gluten-free selection made from their special batter.
Went to happy Jack at 11am on a Tuesday morning and still had a 30 minute wait time. This popular breakfast spot is very delicious and definitely worth the wait. They have indoor and outdoor dining. Our server was amazing, our breakfast was delicious an we will surely be returning.
Maisha R — Google review
We went to Happy Jack Pancake House on a Sunday during my friend’s bachelorette weekend. After waiting about 30 minutes to be seated, we were really excited to eat, but the experience started off a little rocky. Our server had a bit of an attitude from the jump. My friend kindly asked if she and her fiancé could have their check together (since they were seated at separate tables), and the server just brushed it off, saying it wasn’t her table and that she didn’t care. When my friend tried to clarify, the server got noticeably annoyed, which felt really unnecessary. Then, while she was going over the specials, one of the people at our table was talking, and she actually tapped him on the head — thinking it was funny, I guess — but it caught all of us off guard. It just felt inappropriate. When it was mentioned, she said, “I didn’t even hit him hard,” which didn’t really make it any better. We asked for a new server after that, and thankfully we got Jenny — she was amazing! Super kind, attentive, and really helped make the rest of the meal enjoyable. She even looked out for one of our friends who wasn’t feeling too great. All in all, the food was good and it turned out to be a nice brunch in the end, but the first part of the experience definitely threw us off. I just hope the situation gets addressed, because customer service really makes a difference.
Nahomi — Google review
Not a single real complaint on anything I tried. They have very unique menu options with some things I haven't seen anywhere else. Cookie dough on pancakes? What!? The peanut butter pancakes, Nutella cookie dough, and s'mores French toast? All phenomenal. They absolutely DO NOT skimp on the toppings/mix-ins like a lot of places. I've lost track of the number of times at other restaurants where the top pancake has all the good stuff and then there's almost nothing left for the rest. Biscuits and gravy were great and the potatoes were perfectly crispy. Could have used a bit more seasoning on the latter, but no biggie. Place was absolutely slammed, but service was fast, friendly, and without skimping on quality.

Bit of a wait (we walked up without online reservation) due to its popularity, but the food was delicious and our server was great! We got the funky monkey french toast, strawberry pancakes, the Elvis pancakes, and the smoked salmon eggs Benedict (one of the specials, meal in the picture) and they were all great. Star of the show in my opinion were the home fries, they were super crispy and perfectly seasoned, cannot recommend enough!

Jacqueline was an amazing server with plenty of recommendations and a warm and friendly smile upon greeting! The food was amazing and the pancakes were just perfect! Light and fluffy with the right amount of brown to them. Thank you for serving up everything I wanted and could have hoped for in a classic all-American breakfast! 😋

During a recent trip to Ocean City, I decided to visit this establishment after seeing numerous reviews. I'm a firm believer in supporting local food spots, so despite the long Sunday line, we chose to wait, knowing nearby breakfast places would be just as crowded. After about 30 minutes, we were seated. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the menu was typical of a pancake or breakfast restaurant. Given my profession—and a slight case of OCD—I tend to be especially observant. That said, the cleanliness could use some attention. I witnessed a server repeatedly pick up a piece of bacon that had fallen off a plate using bare hands, which I found unacceptable from a food safety standpoint. When it came time to pay, the wait for the check felt unusually long. On a more positive note, the food itself was quite good. Would I return? Possibly, but preferably on a weekday when things aren't so hectic.

Excellent breakfast spot! Best way to put seafood in your breakfast meal! Also freshest donut I've had. Excellent portions for the price and freshest food! Great place to stop for breakfast. Highly recommended. Staff is very friendly and courteous.

We ate here for breakfast and everything was great! The next day I came for a dozen of donuts and they were good too. The prices are good especially for Ocean City.

This place is a must!! Breakfast was delicious and well worth the price. Everyone was friendly and service was excellent. We will definitely be going back! I thought the donuts would have been hard sitting on the shelves but nope the donuts tasted great! Wish we would have bought more to bring home.

This was our first time getting breakfast here and it was such a great experience! The food was absolutely amazing! Our server was very attentive and friendly considering we were a big party. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend coming here!

Family style restaurant, not much atmosphere. Was surprised when i saw the eggwhite special. It was very delicious and filling😋. Not too fond of pancakes (not fluffy) but overall good spot for breakfast👍
Sandra V — Google review
The restaurant is older and had high ratings on Google. I tried it had to park by some dumpsters where old eggs and food was all-over the ground. First appearances was not great. It had a line, they seated us quickly. The table was a front seat looking at the street. The waitress was not super friendly and did just an ok job, we had to ask when she did come back for drinks and butter. The waffles were thick and not fluffy, I like the Belgian waffles that are airy. The corned beef hash looked terrible. The food was Ok. I had a ham and cheese omelet with toast, I split a waffle with my wife. She had a bowl with a side of sausage gravy which was delicious. My daughters had a ham steak breakfast with scrambled eggs and toast. My other daughter had the same with thin ham and a side of corned beef hash. It was an Ok experience and I might try again but I would like to try other places first.

Been to OCMD many times and never stopped in at Laytons, but glad we did. It was the best breakfast we’ve had in OCMD. Our server was friendly and the service was fast, but did not lack quality. I couldn’t leave without trying a donut. 10/10. We’ll be definitely coming back for breakfast the next time we’re down.

Love this place. Good, home style food. Out of season in a resort town so bakery items were scarce. No donuts. A few cinnamon rolls. Nothing else in the bakery. Normally they have AMAZING bakery items. Great service.

Nestled in the charming Ocean Side, Maryland, Lizzie's Cafe & Bistro 142nd St is a delightful family-owned eatery that has been serving up comfort food since 2004. This cozy cafe is renowned for its hearty breakfasts and mouthwatering dishes like lobster rolls and crab cakes. Diners can expect a warm atmosphere complemented by friendly service, making every visit feel special.
Best lunch I ever had in Ocean City. Ordering in the kiosk was easy. Pictures for every option along with a description was very helpful. I wasn’t sure the difference between the two and Matt was there to explain the difference. Food came out wrapped, hot and ready to eat. The Lobster roll was stuffed with lobster and her warm crab roll was warm and stuffed full with real crab not filler. Finished with the chocolate cake. Definitely will not find this slice anywhere else in Ocean city or surrounding areas. The cake is big enough for two people. Lizzes will be a must stop every year and possibly twice in a 4 day stay. Overall best meal in a long time.

This is a must stop! The lobster rolls both Maine and Connecticut were excellent. More importantly the mayo was not overbearing on the crab like other rolls I have. If you want a great lobster roll then don’t miss this. Also the grilled cheese with chicken is a good option for anyone in your party that doesn’t like seafood.

Amazing food and service. I have an egg intolerance, and they were more than accommodating. The food was fresh and the portions perfect. We had to go back for more. Highly recommend eating there. It was the best food our entire trip.

This place was an amazing find! Since being gluten free there are many things I missed. One of those was delicious bread and sandwiches. Lizzie’s has perfect gluten free rolls. The lobster roll was full of flavor. The service was above and beyond. The moment I put in my allergy, someone came out to explain what to look for to ensure I was given the correct meal and also explained the precautions they take to keep food separate. The price may be a bit higher, but well worth the visit.

Great experience. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Lobster roll was incredible, perfectly balanced mayonnaise, lobster and celery(New England style) bread was toasted to perfection. Orange crush was one if the best in Ocean City. Highly recommend here.

This is the best breakfast pizza I’ve ever had. The crust, egg, cheese and bacon were such quality ingredients. The bacon cooked perfectly crisp. And it held up so well for leftovers reheated in the oven! Thank you, Lizzie’s!!

Wow! I don't usually write reviews but feel compelled. Both food and service were amazing. My friends and I got there just as they were about to close. Matt assisted my celiac friend in choosing GF menu items. We never felt rushed or hurried. Totally going back! We go the Lobster and crab rolls. Can't go wrong with either.

Got the New England lobster roll and my husband got a hot crab roll. They were delicious. Our kids got grilled cheese, mac & cheese and chicken, mac & cheese, and bacon mac & cheese and they were thrilled. The owner was very nice. They are very allergy aware. It was such a cute place. You wouldn’t even think that it would be a nice place looking at the sign from the road, but it really is nice and the food was delicious and it was not terribly expensive. I highly recommend this place if you’re in the area.

Some really good breakfest. Had chicken and waffles Nashville heat which my son stated was a bit too spicy for his taste...I had the western omlette....pretty darn good. Waffles w strawberries....very good. Place started to get packed so we ate outside.
Aj L — Google review
We ate two breakfasts there. First day, I think our server was Malia! She was EXCELLENT. Wrote down nothing. Remembered everything. Food was delicious - pix are of the Health Nut French Toast and the large fruit cup. We also had delicious smoothies made w real fruit and loved the steak and eggs and the Almond Joy pancakes. One tip for diners / suggestion for owners: When the (I don’t wanna say older but can’t think of another way to say it) guy is at the host stand, he’s actually a deterrent to business. He’s not unfriendly, but he’s actually not good at the host job. We sat outside right by the entrance and watched him tell probably 10 different parties of two or four people that it would be a 20min wait and then launch into a defensive explanation about how it’s a busy day and they should have gotten there earlier. We saw at least a few parties just leave. The thing is - it was NEVER a 20min wait while we were there. He told us the same thing when we arrived and we were seated in less than five min. As was just about about every other party that arrived during our meal - including a party of 11! He also had a girl there write names on a list if there were a few parties waiting, but then forget to check the list and just give tables to the next people. We saw that happen at least twice. He also changed the wait staff sections in the middle of our meal, which seemed to confuse some servers and have them with tables all over the place. I honestly think he’s a nice guy but maybe this could be a gentle suggestion to greet people w a more welcoming vibe. And be open to being trained to be better at using a wait list and estimating wait times! Breakfast turns over pretty quick. “We’re so glad you’re here. We’re thrilled to be so busy. Wait time is likely to be 5-10min. We’ll get you seated as soon as we can.”

I've been coming to OCMD since 2006 and when I tell you that this breakfast place has some of the best food I've tasted, it's no joke! If you're here looking for what to eat, let this review be a sign : take the (fresh) crab omelet and the chicken waffle!! Also, thank you so much to our server who was incredibly kind to answer our questions about what to do in a hurricane! - Kindly, the only canadians eating outside during Erin! We'll be back!

A lovely OC gem. This is the third breakfast spot we’ve tried down here and one we will absolutely return to. Staff were kind and attentive. Vibe is cute. Coffee is strong (in a good way!). We had the huevos rancheros – super delicious. We also had strawberry pancakes that were excellent. Eggs and home fries were cooked to perfection. Fresh fruit bowl was elevated with a nice mix of fruits – more variety than what you get at a typical breakfast spot. Can’t wait to come back!

Our family tries to hit Malia's Cafe every year when we vacation in Ocean City. This year was no exception. We stopped for breakfast on our last day and my BF I had ordered strawberry pancakes. It took a little while but when the pancakes came out I was very disappointed to see only one strawberry on top of the pancakes, I know I made a face. The waitress explained that there were strawberries inside the pancakes and I nodded. She then went into the kitchen and came back to our table with a cup full of fresh cut strawberries. She was a terrific waitress and this is a great place to eat, I highly recommend it. The food is outstanding!

Über Bagels & Deli is a popular seasonal breakfast and lunch spot known for its New York-style bagels, classic deli sandwiches, and coffee. It opened in 2010 and is conveniently located within walking distance to the Ocean City Town Recreation. The eatery is well-loved by both locals and visitors, with many recommending ordering online for pickup to avoid long wait times.
I absolutely love Uber Bagels! My family and I come here every time we come to the beach multiple times per trip! The bagel sandwiches, cream cheeses, and coffee are delicious. We love The Remedy, The Late Riser, and their Asiago Bay bagels (really any flavor). Their iced coffee is delicious and they make fair trade coffees. Their bagels and cream cheeses, try the crab spread, are made in house and taste great. It gets super crowded especially on weekends so be ready to practice patience or order ahead online if they’re accepting online orders at the time. 10/10 recommend!
Jordan M — Google review
Lots of kinds of bagels. Great fillings for sandwiches. I had whitefish salad, tomato and onion on a toasted onion bagel. It was excellent. When you order at the counter, they prepare your order to go and you pick it up at the pickup station. You can still eat your meal at one of the indoor or outdoor tables. For some reason, they play background music. It's kinda noisy, but you can still converse. They're open from 6:30 am to 2 pm. I recommend Uber Bagels in Ocean City.

**Editing my review from 4 stars to 5 after they pointed out that they do, in fact, have vanilla syrup for iced coffee. I just overlooked it!** Delicious egg, sausage, and cheese bagel sandwiches!! Would have gotten 5 stars if they had vanilla syrup and/or vanilla creamer for the iced coffee, or if they had a rye bagel. Lots of seating outside, but it's hot in the morning in the sun!
Nicolette — Google review
Hands down the best bagels in Maryland... and arguably a lot of other places. We've eaten bagels in NYC, LI and other notable places for the best bagels... the OC location of Uber Bagels can stand up against most. It blows away most other bagels in Maryland and it's OC location is better than its other locations in MD. Something to do with the proximity to water, salt air or something. We stock up whenever we're in OC.

We visited for the first time this morning! The long line moved very quickly - don’t let the line scare you! We had a variety of bagels and spreads and tried 2 Breakfast Sandwiches! Our favorites were the remedy sandwich and the early riser Great value and great food!

Best bagels that we have found in OCMD! The bagels are outrageous, sandwiches are top notch and coffee is delicious. It’s always really busy so expect a wait. Order online for pick up if you can. They have lots of bagel and crazy cream cheese flavors. We were disappointed because they show rainbow bagels on their menu but they said they did not have them today. Place is kind of showing its age as you have some dirty corners, peeling coving, dusty ledges and the bathrooms were not great. They are a little disorganized but they pump out a lot of food. Staff is ok until one of their friends comes up and they talk to them instead of helping customers. All in all, a nice place with great bagels.
Ryan B — Google review
Delicious. Ate here all 4 days we were in town. Best bagels we’ve had outside of New York City. Friendly staff. If there’s a crowd expect to wait, but it’s worth it.
E J — Google review
Nothing quite like a uber bagel. Bagels at very reasonable priced and top notch. Got. the early riser and late riser. Place is normally packed so my recommendation would be to order in Law online and pick up. Limited seating inside, so great to take back to condo and enjoy on balcony. Homemade bagels are top notch!

With so many chains and tourist traps here, I was looking for a family owned breakfast spot and found it here. I had a delicious Crab and Cheese Omelet with Old Bay Seasoning. She had an order of their French Toast. Hot coffee and a friendly staff rounded out a great breakfast experience. Give them a try.

The Kitchen in Ocean City, MD is a charming throwback to the 1970s, with its cozy, wood-paneled diner vibe and welcoming atmosphere. They’re open daily from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM, making it a perfect spot for breakfast or lunch before hitting the beach. The menu is full of hearty, homestyle dishes, sweet and savory classics done right. I tried the breakfast tacos and they were absolutely delicious. The portion was satisfying, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, adding to the relaxed, local feel of the place. Prices are starting to creep up a bit, but still feel somewhat reasonable for the quality and quantity you get, especially in a beach town. If you’re looking for a solid meal in a nostalgic setting, The Kitchen is definitely worth a visit.

After a bad experience at another restaurant for breakfast where we left without even getting food and taking us past normal breakfast hours, this place was a dream come true. All day breakfast is just what we were looking for. The service was amazing. We were seated quickly and the waitress was attentive and personable. The food was priced fairly and was absolutely delicious! All three of our meals were cooked perfect and very tasty. Our waitress noticed the toast was a bit dark and had more made for us without being asked. The bus boy came to clear plates while I was still eating which I know rubs some people wrong, but the tables are small and he was polite and friendly. Also, to be honest I appreciate the efficiency and attentiveness. I really enjoyed this experience and will be happy to come back again. Thank you to all the staff who helped make it an enjoyable experience!

Ann Marie served us this morning and we remembered her from our last visit two years ago. She's a sweet woman and cares about people and the quality of the food she serves and is one of the things that makes The Kitchen great. Food here is really good. My daughter's went last year and liked it, we did not have the same luck. We waited at the entrance inside before they seated us, the restaurant was not busy at all. The food was OK, I asked for extra butter and they bought like 4 or 5 small extra butters. The waitress was not attentive to the table and we had to ask for refills and other things several times. The service all around c was not great. I do like the quiet nostalgic look of the restaurant. I am not sure I will go back to the restaurant if when I come back it lacked the service for me. I am not happy with my experience and I am very doubtful with as many options near to this location I will go back. There was only paid parking outside.

I've visited sorianos several times over the years with family, most recently was this past week after not traveling to Ocean City for at least 2yrs. Upon my visit I found the same welcoming friendly service I've come to know. The food is served hot and delicious... I usually get an omelette or the steak and eggs. This trip I got the steak and eggs the steak was phenomenal nicely seared and cooked as ordered with delicious over medium eggs. Only complaint I had was that some of the home fries were extremely well done... several were rock hard crispy like a thick potato chip...not ideal but still yummy. I would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone who enjoys a homemade breakfast. They do like to keep it warm I'm not a big fan of that....even in off season weather... I felt like I was sitting in an oven while waiting for my meal .. lol Personally theres a few things I'd like to see changed but overall this establishment is an Ocean City staple and is well worth the visit.

Founded by Ocean City resident Bill Gibbs, this family-friendly restaurant is known for its diverse menu that includes not only great pizza but also famous pancakes available all day. Whether you're visiting for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just a snack, The Dough Roller offers something for everyone.
I had the seafood omelette and it was sublime the best I had and if you are wondering if they blend everything together with the eggs they don’t! I hate when they blend but not at the dough roller, the omelette is perfectly soft and stuffed with the delicious crab, shrimp and lobster, my husband had perfect eggs as well no crust on the bottom and melting yoke I would eat there every day. The potato’s were terrible I don’t recommend but it comes with the dish you can’t avoid.

The steak was a little undercooked for my liking but still amazing. It was a great cut of steak, and their garlic butter made the steak taste so good. Serve was okay she was nice but not very attentive. We spent about $110 for two people, which is fairly priced for the quality and hard to find this near the boardwalk. We did not have a great experience overall. Some of the food we had was ok and some wasn't. The crab soup was good. For my entree I had the surf and turf. The steak was great, the sauce that came with it made it even better, however the surf part (crab stuffed shrimp) was not. The shrimp at something off about it, I ate it any way because I'm greedy but I paid for it later. My wife had the Park chop (which we came here specifically because they had it on the menu, shes alergic to shellfish) but the chop was not seasoned at all. She described eating it like eating flesh, no flavor. She barely ate it. The waitress saw that she barely touched it but didn't even offer any further dialog about it. When we were ready to leave it took forever for her to come back to get the check had to walk the payment over to her. Terrible experience. We went to harbor watch the next day, such a better experience!

Such an incredible dining experience. The food was incredible, cooked perfectly, and was fast! Our waitress was awesome, and helped us pick out some perfect drinks. Not to mention they had a live pianist playing! After we left and already made it out of the building Vladamir brought me my sunglassed i forgot! He was so nice! Super awesome time, go here if you get the chance!

We had such a delicious dinner here last night. I wanted to come on a review because I don’t think it’s fair they have 4.3 they are definitely higher quality than that. The service was super fast, everyone was super nice, and we all loved our food. We got calamari, Caesar salad, two crab cake dinners, a lobster dinner, and two kids meals. Everyone loved their food. Our waitress Kim was super nice and any request even for our kids she did with a smile. Loved it and would recommend :)

Restaurant
Coins Pub and Restaurant is a casual tavern located on Philadelphia Avenue in Ocean City. The restaurant offers early-bird specials with generous portions of American fare, particularly seafood dishes, for $10 or less. The pub side provides a relaxed atmosphere for patrons to enjoy their meals. Guests can indulge in inventive American cuisine and mouthwatering seafood while taking in picturesque views. The interior features spacious seating areas, a dance floor, and a well-sized bar adorned with canvas prints of iconic movie and television scenes.
Great find in Ocean City, fun place with great food and nice drinks. Really cool art work inside which makes it fun and unique here. Live music was good and staff was friendly. Men's urinal was super cool kegs. Did not feel like a tourist trap, prices were fair and overall worth a visit.

Disappointed. The food was good but I left clear instructions for dressing on side. What i got was a little lettuce in 1/2 cup of dressing with soggy croutons. The dressing was good but salad was inedible. The green tomato's and crab cake were good. Chicken fingers on website looked homemade which is why we ordered but given frozen ones. So that was disappointing. The reviews were great and I was excited to try. Definitely pricey for what we got. Can't judge atmosphere as we did take out.

Very good food that is not overpriced. The seafood was excellent! Broiled seafood platter is a great value. Noodle bowl was not the best. Fast and friendly service. We’ll definitely be back.

Went here based off a co-worker in the PA area and dang, I’m glad I stopped in! The inside vibe was awesome, waitress, I believe was Jessica, did a great job and you could tell that she knew what she was doing. The cream of crab soup had LUMPS of crab and the crab cake was full of crab, not filler. The decor inside was super cool as someone who loves movies! I will be coming back every time I’m on OCMD! 10/10 would recommend

It's a bit pricey but well worth it. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great. We were seated right away. The food came quickly. If you're in to sports, there's plenty of TV screens covering all the sports. Movie buff? Paintings and posters from all genres. You'll have a good time here.

Coins has a fun dive bar vibe in a shopping strip, but don’t let that fool you, the food is excellent! The field greens salad with raspberry vinaigrette was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The crab imperial was loaded with fresh crab, fries were hot and crispy, and the onion rings were especially good with great flavor paired with ranch that tasted house made. The chicken parm was decent (a little tough and the sauce a bit bland), but overall everything hit the spot. Service was friendly and attentive. Inside is cute with OCMD surf and pop culture décor, and the bar area had a lively crowd with a DJ playing fun but not overwhelming music. We’ll definitely be back!

DO NOT go here unless you want to spend your beach vacation on the toilet. Party of 7 and it took almost 40 minutes for our food to come out. The wings we received were extremely overcooked and flatbreads were very burnt, like not a crispy edge but a charred crust. All 7 of us felt sick afterwards. Our server was nice but there is a bus boy who cleans tables while enjoying a beer. Bathrooms are creative but disgusting. Definitely not a place i will be back to or recommending. STAY AWAY

We had a delicious dinner after our vows renewal on the beach. Many of our group raved about the Crab Cakes! Our group is affectionately know as "The Funky Meatballs" - our trivia name. So of course, we had to get Meatballs!!

The Muze Cafe is a charming spot located just off the Boardwalk on Somerset Street in Ocean City. Its outdoor patio exudes a quaint downtown cafe atmosphere, almost reminiscent of European cafes. The cafe is known for its savory crepes, offering a unique dining experience in OC. Visitors praise the attentive service and delicious menu items like the Farmers Crepe and Mediterranean Toast. Despite being cash-only, this hidden gem is highly recommended for a delightful breakfast or brunch experience with great food and friendly service.
We came here for breakfast and tried the waffle, pancake, eggs, and fresh fruits. Everything tasted great—the waffle and pancake were especially delicious, and the eggs were well-cooked. The fruits were fresh and nicely presented. The girl who served us was super sweet—she was both preparing the food and handling the service, and she did a great job. The atmosphere was cozy and charming. Just a heads-up: cars aren’t allowed directly on the street where the café is located, so you’ll need to park nearby and walk. Definitely worth a visit!

This place is 5/5. The bacon egg and cheese sandwiches were cooked to perfection! The crepes were also amazing not too sweet. The pricing is pretty good, for 2 people expect to pay $20-$35. I’ve returned for my 3rd time out of my 5 days stay haha. Keep in mind they are cash only.

Everything was great except it was cash only. I had just enough cash on me to pay for breakfast but I would have gotten a couple more side eggs if I could have paid by cc. Food, service and atmosphere were great. I'm only giving a 4 star overall as I'm not big on carrying cash

Lovely Cafe close to the Boardwalk in Ocean City! We loved the Mediterranean Toast. The atmosphere is amazing. Quiet and it gives a tropical vibe. Be aware that the payment is cash only! The service was very good as well and very friendly !! I can highly recommend this Cafe as a breakfast or brunch place to you.

🌟 If I could give Muzè Café a million stars, I absolutely would! 🌟 My husband and I stopped in this weekend (yes, during the Blue Angels madness!) with open minds and empty stomachs—and wow, did they deliver! The food was phenomenal, the vibes were cozy, and our waitress was an absolute gem—kind, attentive, and quick with a smile. My husband ordered the banana pudding pancakes and declared them the best pancakes he’s ever had. (He did mention a sprinkle of cinnamon on top would’ve taken them straight to pancake heaven—just a personal preference!) I ordered the peach tea and parfait—absolutely delicious and refreshing! I’m on a “fat shot” (Zepbound) so I couldn’t eat much, but I enjoyed every bite I could have. Our sweet waitress even checked to make sure everything was okay because I barely made a dent—bless her heart! Despite it being a busy weekend, the service was fast, the food came out hot, and everything was right on point. We’re locals and always love discovering new gems—this one is officially our new go-to brunch spot! Do yourself a favor and check them out—you won’t regret it! 💛🍽️🥞

We loved the Jumpstart Bagel with pesto sauce — we could eat it every day! The banana blueberry crepe was light and delicious. The staff were cheerful and welcoming. It’s a great spot to stop for breakfast after watching the sunrise.
