Leavenworth

Leavenworth is a Bavarian-styled village in the Cascade Mountains, in central Washington State. Alpine-style buildings with restaurants serving German beer and food line Front Street. The Nutcracker Museum displays thousands of nutcrackers, some dating back centuries. On the Wenatchee River, Waterfront Park is a habitat for ospreys and eagles. The village is a gateway to nearby ski areas and wineries.

Museum
Nestled in a Bavarian-style building, the Leavenworth Nutcracker Museum is a charming mom-and-pop showcase featuring thousands of modern and antique nutcrackers. Despite its Christmassy vibe, this quirky museum doesn't chronicle Tchaikovsky's famous ballet but instead offers an enthralling collection of over 14,000 nut-related relics dating back to Roman times.
Very cute little museum. Perfect for the price. The nutcrackers in the store are all fairly expensive, but they are legit German nutcrackers. Tons of fun and cute things to see throughout. Definitely recommend a stop in.

It was interesting, over 9000 nutcracker Small fee per person. Guinness Book of World Record Holder Worth the visit.
Mud L — Google review
We enjoyed going through the history and artisans who created the nutcracker. So many materials and forms, from human likeness to animal, wood to metals, fanciful to a bit hmmm... It was all very interesting!
Shannon S — Google review
We stopped in here on a Saturday late morning in August while in the area for vacation. There’s a $5 admission fee, there was no line and it wasn’t too crowded. There are two full floors of nutcrackers in enclosed cases lining the walls. If nutcrackers are your thing I imagine this would be wonderful for you. Most of the displays are enclosed in glass. There are a few bigger nutcrackers that stand. Any kind of nutcracker you can think or imagine is probably here. There is a short film about the history on the first floor. I maybe would watch that first instead of last like we did. There is a staircase to get up stairs - I did not see an elevator but honestly I wasn’t looking for one. There is a gift shop as your exit the building. I would say this might be good for young ones but there are signs everywhere asking to not touch the glass or the free standing nutcrackers and to keep your voice down. It was very much giving library vibes. I liked seeing the old nutcracker tools. Everything else started to look the same to me but I have a short attention span and would have been ok with just looking around one floor instead of both.
Miss V — Google review
This place was pretty neat. It was cool to see the history. They do allow you to take photos but they only allow you to take pics of certain things.
Raychel S — Google review
I visited this with my kids, and it is a nice, small museum for those who are interested in Nutcrackers. However, I would not really recommend it for anyone. Primarily concentrates on all types of Nutcrackers used in our history, as well as some nuts (yes, nuts) and other items. You can spend easily 40 minutes to 1 hour, or even more, if you are really enthusiastic about the Nutcrackers and want to know every detail of the display. You enter through a gift shop, where you can buy or present tickets. Then, proceed to view the displays and move to the next floor. I strongly do not recommend this if you have no idea about Nutcrackers, like me, or if you want to understand how Nutcrackers are used. I hope you find this helpful and enjoy your visit (based on informed decisions). PS. Photos are restricted and displayed with notes indicating areas where photography is not permitted. I didn't take any photos except a few with my kids posing with Nutcracker statues.

No need to buy tickets in advance, they have nut crackers hunt activities for kids
Emi H — Google review
I highly recommend coming to the museum if you’re in Leavenworth! It’s inexpensive and fascinating. They have scavenger hunts for the kids (readers and non readers) with a wrist band as a reward, which my kids love. Any nutcracker you can imagine is here. The gift shop is also a must.

Farm
Zoos
Nestled in the picturesque foothills of the Cascade Mountains, Leavenworth Reindeer Farm is a charming family-owned destination that offers year-round tours and educational experiences. Visitors can enjoy up-close encounters with the majestic reindeer, including a herd of endangered Woodland Caribou. Whether it's during the festive Christmas season or any other time of year, this unique farm provides an enchanting opportunity to connect with Santa's famous crew.
Highly recommend anyone visiting Leavenworth to experience the Reindeer Farm. Buy your ticket in advance online for the time slot and day. Holidays will book fast and weekends too. Show up, checkin and get ready for a unique time! You will also be supporting the family owned business. The owner was great and walked us through the educational and safety protocols before going in with the Reindeer herd to feed and pet them. You’ll also get to feed chickens, see camels, bunnies, and meet their friendly barn cats. They have a little food and drink stand where you can try some unique items or familiar ones. They have several picture spots set up and a full gift shoppe on site. Visiting the farm was the highlight of my weekend trip to Leavenworth (along with riding the Alpine coaster in a separate location nearby)!
Kristina S — Google review
This may just be our favorite trip memory out of any vacation we've ever taken! What an incredible experience this farm offers. They've left no detail unthought of and I appreciate that it was a multigenerational family business. The gift shop was amazing and even though it was October when we visited, we sure felt like we were in the middle of Christmas! Great photo opportunities. Delicious, authentic food on site. Learned so much and experienced so many new things! Unforgettable time at Leavenworth Reindeer Farm! I don't want to give away too much so go and experience it for yourself!
Katelyn B — Google review
This was probably our favorite thing we did while we were in Leavenworth. Even though we went in October, it still had this really magical feel. We really loved it here! The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable, and it's also a family-owned business. As a city girl, I have little experience with animals, so I found myself initially uncomfortable. However, they made sure I felt welcome and comfortable from the beginning. You can really tell that they take good care of their animals. Despite the many animals on the farm, it remained incredibly neat and clean, which is a real bonus. I'll absolutely return soon. It's a must for anyone visiting Leavenworth or Washington state.
Yesmine K — Google review
We had so much fun! They really take care of these reindeers. It's not at all one of those places where you feel bad about the animals, these guys are very happy and the family is kept together. You really learn a ton about reindeer. There are also adorable cats, turkeys, and chickens.
Natalie B — Google review
Such a great place! So much fun interacting with their reindeer and of course the babies! Hansel & Gretel are just darling! Loved the informational video before going in with those wonderful animals! The camels were such a cool part of the place too!
Shawnee W — Google review
If you're visiting Leavenworth for the first time, one of the spots you definitely should visit is this reindeer farm! A family business where you can see the love and support that the family has on the animals. A very fun place for people of all ages!! We got to see the cute reindeer and feed them while being able to learn more about them and ask questions about how they are raised. The staff are so friendly and genuinely enjoy being there. So I think it's one of the best spots to visit in Leavenworth!
Brandon L — Google review
My friend and I had a blast feeding these gentle creatures. Safety was #1 and there were several caretakers who guided both people and deer and took photos with the "safer" of the reindeer. Be prepared for a ten minute video in the beginning which advertises products, explains reindeer anatomy and behavior, and discusses safety.
Audania T — Google review
This is a must stop! I always come in winter but had family in town and wanted them to visit. It is rutting season so some reindeers are blocked off and the reindeers are scraping their antlers to shed the fuzz so they do look bloody (heads up for kids). The family that runs this farm is amazing and welcoming and full of information that shows how truly amazing reindeer are! We got to see the baby twin reindeer! Super rare! When you’re waiting to go in they have feed to feed the chicken and turkeys and the barn cats were out and I got to pet them for a while. The gift shop is gorgeous and they have a little food and drink shack. Decent amount of parking.

Front Street Park is a small green space with shaded walkways and grassy areas. It offers winter activities such as sledding and tree lighting. Located in the charming town of Leavenworth, known for its Bavarian traditions, visitors can enjoy quaint shops offering unique gifts and an array of pubs stretched along the streets. There are plenty of options for wine and beer enthusiasts to choose from.

Hike nearby trails like Icicle Ridge or Colchuck Lake(start as early as 5 am for less crowds ) , float the Wenatchee River, or sip local brews at Icicle Brewing. Families love the reindeer farm and nutcracker museum. Visit during Oktoberfest or the magical Christmas lights for extra charm!

Summetime at Leavenworth is fun too. Soaking in the sun at the Front Street park. Stroll through Front Street for some beer, pretzel, beer, souvenirs and beer (did I mention beer, just kidding). There is a nice gazebo and plenty of seating in the area. There was a local artists exhibition when we visited. Good food is on other streets and not on Front Street. You will love the vibe both in summer and winter.

We arrived a bit too early. The town of Leavenworth is preparing for Octoberfest. All in all it was a great visit and very scenic place.

Its a really beautiful place to spend a few hours in. There's literally always something new, someplace new to go/look at. You won't be bored here.

Great shopping, great food, drinks, beautiful scenery. I loved the Christmas store, the hat store. There were artists selling there wares set up on the weekend in tents in the park with jewelry, photos, garden pieces.

Can't beat the Breakfast at the park for $10. Lots of shops in the area. Coffee, Carmel Apples, Ice Cream, Beer, Food, etc.
Florentino G — Google review
Beautiful park and gazebo in downtown. This is the "hangout" for visitors. There is an art show most summer weekends. It's packed during the holidays but very beautifully decorated. At least once in your lifetime a visit to Leavenworth in the winter is a must!

Nestled in a Bavarian-style building with modern touches like an outdoor fire pit, Icicle Brewing Company has been serving up a wide array of expertly crafted beers since 2011. The brewery's location allows visitors to catch a glimpse of the brewing process from almost any seat in the house. What sets their brews apart is that all the ingredients are locally sourced from the Pacific Northwest, including water from nearby Icicle Creek.
One of the few places open late on a Sunday night. Helpful people at the counter to order beers, cider, and food. Only a few ciders available, but possibly the best one I had all week, crisp and flavorful. Tomato soup and turkey sandwich were very good. Pretzel was pretty good. Great atmosphere inside.
Erik T — Google review
I liked their ambience and vibes! Actually I don't drink, the purpose I had to be there was that the drinkers needed a driver to send them back to the hotel. I was thrilled to be there! People came in and out holding various beers, cheered for each other, talked loud and laughed like crazy, I could feel the happiness with them. It was a worry free zone, I think we all needed this moment!
L L — Google review
The pretzel and beer we got were very good. I wasn't a fan of the beer cheese, but my husband loved it. They have a nice outside seating area for dogs. Very kind staff.
ManaKaster — Google review
Love the vibes of this place and the beer. IPA was strong and worth every drop. I love the gondola. It was a great experience. It is a little wobby when you get on it, so don't spill your drink. Great place to hang out and get a good feel of the nice and cold weather of Leavenworth with their heater and fireplaces in the outdoor setting.
Yer V — Google review
We wanted some takeaway beer - something quite specific. Friendly guy behind the bar gave us some tasters. We chatted about beers he liked what we were after - we went away happy. Nice place, nice beer, nice service. Chill vibes even though it was Labor Day and the town was really busy. Enjoying my beer on my road trip.

Good beers but the food is below average. The grilled cheese had such a funky taste to it - definitely not quality cheese at all. The tomato bisque was nice but too creamy for my taste. The pretzel is honestly the only food that seems worth it here! Beers were nice too.
Pooja C — Google review
This place is awesome. By far the best brewery in the area. They have old ski gondolas upstairs that you can sit and drink beer in. They rock a little bit so if your beer is full take a few sips to avoid spilling. The beer tasted fantastic and the selection was awesome. They have beer flights that you can order 4 tasters at a time. This is a must do! The staff is incredible and know their beer well. This is a must stop in the area. Awesome brewery!

Performing arts theater
The Leavenworth Summer Theater Box Office is a gem nestled in the heart of nature, offering an enchanting open-air theater experience since 1994. Each summer, it showcases a delightful array of plays and musicals, with the beloved classic 'Sound of Music' being a perennial favorite. Imagine enjoying live performances under a starlit sky, surrounded by stunning mountain views and lush trees—it's truly magical! The talent on stage shines brightly as actors deliver captivating performances accompanied by an impressive orchestra.
Sound of Music is one of the best summer shows we've ever seen. There isn't a theater in any major city that can compete with the outdoor setting tucked in the trees, breathtaking mountain views in the background and as night falls the stars light the night sky. The actors were spot on with their voices and acting and the orchestra nailed it. Our seats and view of the stage was excellent even though we sat near the back. They do have a snack bar that is open during intermission and at the beginning of the show. Great job!
Jon V — Google review
We saw the sound of music and the actors were great, as a builder I was disappointed the sets were not very elaborate, but overall with the setting in the woods it was a fun experience. Our main problem was the website sent us to a hotel in town to buy the tickets but the office was closed and the front desk didn’t know where to send us, luckily my wife was able to find more information to head to the ski hill and luckily we did not miss the opening.

attended Bye Bye Birdie show at the fish hatchery on a Thursday evening. Great show and cast. Rent a $1 seat cushion your bottom will thank you. The worse part of the whole experience is the parking and getting to your car after the performance. No one directing traffic, no lights and plenty of dust. I hated that they have special parking for handicap as almost everyone using that area could clearly walk fine and after the performance these same people sped thru the parking area with no regard for those of us having to walk further to our car. Just a bad experience. If you can park close to the exit and be fast out of your seat you have a chance. We were walking with slow pokes so we got stuck in a big mess of traffic.
BCS — Google review
The Sound of Music is great this year because it is no longer a story and rather our shared reality in the USA now.

BUYER BEWARE: They care about profits, not their customers. Short Story: We were told to evacuate the area due to a forest fire bu they refuse to refund the tickets because they say they still performed the show. They just rudely told us they would not give us a refund and we could have ignored the order to evacuate (and our safety) and just found another place to stay. Longer Story: Our family traveled from Arlington, VA to go camping in Leavenworth, WA and attend a show at the Leavenworth Summer Theater. We were staying in a cabin at the Leavenworth KOA campground in Leavenworth. On Saturday afternoon, 8/27 a forest fire started just on the other side of the river from Leavenworth. The campground worked with emergency officials and told everyone to prepare in case we had to evacuate. After a couple hours, emergency officials alerted the campground that for safety concerns, the fie may shift and come across the river into Leavenworth so the area must be evacuated. We complied with the evacuation, packed up and left Leavenworth. A couple days later, after arriving back home in VA, we contacted the Leavenworth KOA campground about the refund since we had to evacuate and they processed it right away. Then we contacted the Leavenworth Summer Theater and they said "we could not have a refund because they still performed the show that Saturday evening". We explained that we were staying at the campground and they told us they were evacuating the area because of the danger of the forest fire. The woman just said, well we performed the show so you can not have a refund. So we asked her what were we supposed to do when emergency officials are telling us we had to evacuate the area because of the danger of the forest fire. She acted annoyed and said "well you could have stayed somewhere else, goodbye" and hung up. We understand they have a strict no refund policy but can not understand why when their customers are told they must evacuate the area by emergency personnel for their safety, the Leavenworth Summer Theater would not consider this an exception. It appears they care less about the safety of their customers than their profits. We would understand if we just could not make it or something, but the fact that we were forced to evacuate for safety concerns, they should process our refund and not be rude to us.
Ben T — Google review
I was very disappointed with the fact that both google and iPhone maps were telling me two very different location points (for the address stated above) at which the theater was at neither one! We were calling the theater since 5pm with no answer or anyone to talk to. It’s frustrating paying for 6tickets, missing the show, and poor information on their website. Better customer service please!
Kozko E — Google review
I have been many times to see the sound of music and loved it each time! No one should miss this! Very well done and the setting it beautiful.

German restaurant
München Haus is a Bavarian-inspired outdoor sausage grill and beer garden located in Leavenworth, Washington. It started as a small venue selling Kettle Korn and has now become a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. The establishment offers a variety of premium all-natural sausages, including options for pork, veal, and veggie lovers, along with apple-cider kraut and an array of mustards.
The quintessential German place to go in Leavenworth. Seating is out doors but heaters are all at most tables to keep you warmish during winter. Food is fantastic if you like bratwurst or kielbasa. There are a few other options for those less excited by German food. Also, the apple cider sauerkraut is amazing and I don't like sauerkraut. Worth a taste.
Keith D — Google review
Delicious Bratwurst variations and many sauces to go along with it. The huge pot of Sauerkraut 😋 is always full and fresh. Prices are definitely reasonable. And, can't forget their tasty warm Pretzels 😋
Florentino G — Google review
Okay so I found the place slightly over rated from what was in my mind. The place is still pretty decent and if you are hungry and wants to try some german good - be sure to check out the place. Personally the Spinach Chicken Sausage I tried was very average and also not up to the mark. However they made it up with their delicious tasting Pretzel 🥨. Pretzels were actually super good. I also tried the local beer from Icicle Brewery and I loved it.
Kumar V — Google review
We arrived from the back alley, but the main entrance is at the front of the main street. The line was a little long, but quick. There's a decent amount of seating with mist spraying on the hot day we were there. We ordered the big Bob bratwurst and Helga's giant kelbassi. Since the kelbassi was so thick, the bun split open, and my toppings were coming out. It's probably easier to eat the kelbassi with utensils. Other than that, the kelbassi is one I'd eat again. I didn't like the flavor of the bratwurst, but I usually don't prefer bratwurst anyway. It was nice that there's 2 stations with the different mustards to choose from. I tried multiple on mine, but it was hard to tell what was what once I put them on, and I could only really taste one kind.
Tiffany O — Google review
Best brats in town, with plenty of tables both in front and in the backyard. Ambient traditional German music, great beer on tap and the real winner is the huge selection of mustard and toppings. Hard to pick just one, would definitely come back!
Grant M — Google review
Nice place with great food. We got some bratwurst with buns and beer. This was mid week so not much queue which was the first for me in the last couple of years . Service was super fast and the food was very good. I got the hans jalapeno n cheddar which I would recommend.

I walked to the end of Front Street to have lunch at this popular beer garden and found a long line of people. I reviewed the menu and ordered a Big Bob Bratwurst and a iced tea after a ten minute wait. The menu has charbroiled Bavarian Sausages including organic chicken, kelbassa, vegan and vegetarian options. I received my order in about fifteen minutes with no problems. I walked over the large condiment bar and put some mustard and sauerkraut on my Bratwurst. The Big Bob Bratwurst had had a nice mild taste to it and the bun was toasted. You will also a large selection of local beer on tap from the Icicle Brewery and imported German beer with wine and non-alocholic options. Located on Front Street near the Danish Bakery and Seventh Street. A nice place to stop for a German sausage or pretzel with frendly service, a number of beer options, and a fun German beer garden vibe.

Restaurant
Andreas Keller Restaurant is a charming, family-owned German eatery that has been serving authentic Bavarian cuisine since 1989. The restaurant offers a cozy old-world ambiance and features nightly musical entertainment for guests to enjoy. Founded by David Forchemer and now managed by his daughter, Heidi, the menu boasts traditional German recipes made with high-quality ingredients sourced directly from Germany.
The food was excellent. We had beef goulash, Cordon Bleu and sides of the potato salad and spaetzle. We sat outside, which unfortunately the picnic tables were not that comfortable, but it is great for people watching and to enjoy that last days of summer weather. The service was also excellent. The food was served quickly and a wonderful menu with a lot of selections, including German beer and desserts from the Ginger Bread House next door.

During our trip at Leavenworth, we stopped by at Andreas Keller Restaurant. You must make a reservation at 11:30 am in the morning for the day. They are always so packed.. However, the customer service is super! They're very fast in service and the servers are really top notch. We ordered the Cream of Kraut soup - yummy! We loved it. The Bavarian Beef Goulash is one of their top selling dishes - a must try! The fried potatoes were nice too :)

This fabulous little Bavarian restaurant is a cozy nook in a downstairs area away from the hustle and bustle from the street above. The service was fabulous, the bathrooms were clean, and the food was perfectly delicious German fare. We had a schnitzel salad and a sausage sampler and were delighted. If you’re in Leavenworth and you’re craving authentic German cuisine, you should stop here.

The food was pretty darn good. Better than expected in a very touristy area. I really like it since it was not overly salted. We had the classic +cordon Bleu schnitzels, pretzel, and hock. Better attentive service would've increased the experience.

It was a cold winter day when my husband, son and I, went to Leavenworth. We ate at Andreas on recommendations of a German friend in California. It was busy, but we were seated within 10 minutes of arriving. The food was absolutely incredible, and the warmth inside on a cold day created the perfect ambience and atmosphere. Service was fast and efficient. The Bavarian fare is European standard with minimal salt which was great for me seeing as I, do not like salty foods. Clean bathrooms for a very touristy establishment.

Cute little restaurant with great German vibes. There was a man playing accordion and singing German songs which was a nice touch. Service was very fast. We got Schnitzel Salad with chicken breast fried which was good, Käsespätzle was different and quite good maybe a little under seasoned. Cream of sauerkraut was also pretty good!

I wanted a good German experience and that's just what I got. I've finally made it through all of the sausage collection and let me tell you. Phenomenal. The atmosphere is awesome with lots of German heritage to soak up and of course there are good brews to choose from!

One of our go-to places when we're in town. Made a reservation as we had a specific barrel booth in mind for sentimental reasons. The process was fast and friendly, including us popping in there the day before to make sure we needed to be on the wait list. Our server Tristan was super friendly, communicative, with a positive vibe. Drinks and food were served timely and were very delicious. It must certainly satisfied our European taste buds. The prices are as expected with the price hikes all around, but definitely on the higher side. The only thing noticed was the curtness of the other server helping a foreign family at the next table. She appeared short and somewhat impatient / condescending in tone. This is a place for foreigners, travelers, international people that may not speak English fluently. Servers should be prepared, trained for this and handle people patiently and with respect. This family at the table was super nice, respectful, not an annoyance in case someone is wondering. This is the only reason I'm tempted to give a 4 star to this place. Owners need to do better.

Mana Restaurant in Leavenworth offers a unique dining experience with its 9-course tasting menu featuring organic, seasonal, and foraged ingredients. The focus on sustainability and creativity is evident in the carefully crafted dishes that take guests on a 2.5-hour culinary journey. Guests can opt for sustainable boutique wine pairings or non-alcoholic herbal elixirs and tonics to enhance their experience.
My sister and I were so lucky to get a last minute reservation here, since they only do one seating. We were sat inside next to the chefs table which was a treat! There is also outdoor seating in these cool clear igloos. The servers here were all very nice. The staff works as a team so you will have multiple people attending to you (even the head chef) which I liked! The menu does change and it is a set dinner. We opted for the wine pairings. All of the food was unique, fresh, and local! My favorite was the jalapeño ice cream because I normally do not like jalapeños but this blew me away. Highly recommend this place! But make your reservations well in advance!

What an incredible experience! The dishes are exquisite and delicious, something that you cannot try anywhere else. The food was just so fresh and tasteful, and wine pairing was well thought through. Definitely a must visit when in town. Don't think about it, just book it!

One of my top 3 favorite restaurants in spite of having eaten in many big cities at Michelin Star and James Beard award winning restaurants and celebrity chef establishments. Mana was exquisite from the food to service to atmosphere, I have very little to say that isn’t just incredibly positive. Their wine pairing was spot on and at an approachable cost compared to most fine dining. Many places claim to be Farm to Table but this often ends up being lip service, Mana truly embodied this with high quality veggies, seasonal variety, and a staff that was not only knowledgeable but completely enthusiastic about their offerings and where their food comes from. It’s such a gem for an area of Washington that isn’t anything like the bustling culinary scene of Seattle and I hope to be back someday.

My Husband and I dined here for our wedding anniversary expecting a memorable and luxurious experience. We left feeling as if we over payed for twigs found on the side of the road. The food was horrible and honestly very disappointing. The best part of the dining experience was the wine. We have had much more memorable dining experiences elsewhere in Leavenworth save your money.

We had an incredible meal to remember with friends. The staff and atmosphere were warm and welcoming. Every detail added to the experience, from the soft lighting to the abundant use of plants and the upbeat instrumental music. The food and wine were exquisite - learning about each dish before tasting made the experience even more meaningful. Worth every penny. Hope we get to return some day.

we had such a spectacular time at Mana! I’m not one to usually finish a meal, and I cleaned my plate on every course. The pairings (both alcoholic & non-alcoholic) are WELL worth it and the food was just… I don’t even have words for how much we loved it. Would highly recommend!! I only took a photo of dessert, but I’ll share it.

Second time at Mana and another fantastic experience. This time on the summer solstice, compared to our last time during the holidays. Located a short walk from city center, they have an inviting patio with about 10 tables and music playing in the background. The 7 course dinner had a great mix of surf, turf, areal and vegetables. My favorite course was the Copper River Sockeye Salmon. My wife enjoyed the wine pairing but I have to say that the non-alcoholic pairing was absolutely amazing, with most of it brewed, infused and concocted on site. My favorite drink was the Bee in a Tux. The staff is very friendly and always willing to answer questions. You end up meeting most of the staff by the time dinner is over.

Mana in Leavenworth is a hidden gem that effortlessly blends cozy charm with upscale sophistication. From the warm, intimate lighting to the carefully curated decor, the ambience creates a perfect setting for an unforgettable dining experience. We chose the prix fixe vegan menu, and every dish showcased the restaurant’s commitment to locally sourced ingredients and bold flavors. Each course was thoughtfully prepared, offering a delightful mix of textures and tastes that highlighted the best of the Pacific Northwest. The creative use of fresh, seasonal produce made every bite both satisfying and memorable. The service was exceptional—attentive without being intrusive. Our server was knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu with genuine enthusiasm and ensuring our experience was smooth from start to finish. Mana is the kind of place where you can relax, savor every moment, and feel completely taken care of. Whether you’re a local or just passing through Leavenworth, it’s well worth a visit.

The pretzel and beer we got were very good. I wasn't a fan of the beer cheese, but my husband loved it. They have a nice outside seating area for dogs. Very kind staff.

Larch Handcrafted Pasta & Cocktails is a charming Italian restaurant in Leavenworth that prides itself on its homemade pasta and delectable cocktails. The menu features an array of pasta dishes made with fresh ingredients sourced from the surrounding mountains, including the popular mushroom ravioli that has garnered a loyal following. In addition to traditional pasta offerings, Larch also offers unique twists on classic noodles, such as campanelle made with a bronze die press or Cajun-style macaroni.
Excellent choice on a date night. This place check all the boxes from their decor, location, service and delicious food. Presentation on the food is great, the flavors on point and their service outstanding. I took pictures of the food and if it was emptier I could have taken pictures of the inside of the restaurant but it was busy and I see why people come here. An absolute pleasure and the quality of the food was top notch couldn't ask for anything better on this evening. Reservations are highly recommended you will be glad you did as the place is small but packs a punch with their service, food, wine selection and desserts. Overall a great experience.

We visit Leavenworth a couple of times a year and had yet to discover a restaurant that truly delighted our taste buds. However, Larch has emerged as a fantastic new discovery! The food was bursting with flavor and showcased innovative culinary creations. The staff was friendly, professional, and the atmosphere was charming and rustic. The Roasted mushrooms are a must-try! I’m craving them right now. My husband particularly enjoyed the Arancini. He had the tenderloin, which was cooked to perfection—a rare feat unless you’re dining at an upscale steakhouse. I opted for the linguini, which was bursting with flavor. My scallops were cooked to perfection as well. The service was excellent. Our waiter was knowledgeable, provided great recommendations, and was incredibly friendly. We’ll definitely be back!

Dinner was phenomenal, very flavorful 😋 with a nice twist of mixed flavors. Bartender Derik, as I sat at the bar, makes great cocktails & personable. The Octopus was so tender, loved the dressing also & Mezza luna pasta, stuffed with crab and shrimp, OMG 👌delicious. The fact that the pastas made there makes it worth the price. Also Flourless Torte. The appetizer & entrée would have been nicer to be served a little longer gap between meals, for me. Yes, the cocktails were rather pricey, but the wine was average price. Would love to try a few other entrées.

I honestly think this was the best food I've ever had. Came here for my birthday and ordered a lot so I could try it all: roasted mushrooms, pork belly, agnolotti del plin, pumpkin cheesecake, and tiramisu. It was all incredible and I'm still thinking about it (I went about 3 weeks ago). The pork belly was so crispy and delicious paired with the coconut rice, I wish I could have it shipped to me back home. Very fresh, original dishes, and the service was great too. I made a reservation online beforehand as they are very popular and only open for a few hours each night. I would come back to Leavenworth just to eat here again.

Great little spot! We were in town for the German vibe and schnitzels, but happened to have some extra time and stumbled upon this cute place. The drinks weren’t the highlight for me, but the food totally made up for it — so tasty! Staff were super friendly and the vibe was just right. It ended up being one of my favorite meals in Leavenworth

The food and service at Larch is phenomenal. I have wanted to eat here for a long time and surely did not disappoint. The restaurant is intimate, perfect for date night or special occasion. We started with Arancini Schiacciti and were the best risotto cakes we've ever had. Entrees were the Mezzaluna Pasta and Mushroom Ravioli and both were delicious. Larch is the best restaurant in Leavenworth and hope to score a reservation again.

My partner and I had such an amazing experience here at Larch. From the amazing service and atmosphere, all the way through the delicious menu. The food was all very well prepared and seasoned. The cocktails were all very well done and fun. This is a must visit. We will return on our future leavenworth adventures.

We finally scored a reservation at Larch after years of trying, and let me tell you, it was more than worth the wait. The meal started off strong with warm, fresh focaccia bread that was an instant hit at the table. From there, we shared the Spanish grilled octopus, and as someone who visits Barcelona every year, I can confidently say this was one of the best renditions I’ve had outside of Spain. Perfectly tender with just the right char and seasoning. For our family-style entrées, we went with the Lasagne, Linguini, and Tenderloin. The Lasagne was truly life-changing—easily one of the best I’ve ever had. Rich, balanced, and beautifully layered. The Linguini was swimming in a delicate, flavorful broth, and the scallops were cooked to perfection. As for the Tenderloin, I’m usually a ribeye guy, but this dish made me a believer. The espresso and peppercorn crust was spot on, and the gnocchi served alongside it was soft, pillowy, and delicious. Larch exceeded every expectation. Every dish felt thoughtful, seasonal, and incredibly fresh. We’ll be back every summer without question. If you’re looking for a standout Italian-inspired meal in Leavenworth, this is the place. Just plan ahead, you’ll thank yourself later.
