Museums
Located in Wausau, the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum (LYWAM) is a must-visit destination for art enthusiasts and nature lovers. Established in 1976, this museum offers free admission year-round and features both permanent and rotating exhibits that showcase art depicting the natural world. One of its most renowned exhibitions is Birds in Art, which has garnered international acclaim. In addition to indoor galleries, visitors can explore the sculpture garden and enjoy artist-made snow sculptures during winter.
I love coming here. They are always rotating the exhibits so every time you go there is something new. Staff are friendly and the building is always clean and looks very well taken care of.

This museum is a gem. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. It’s free but a donation is always appreciated. My 8 year old granddaughter was with me and liked it. We did some crafts in the kids area. In addition to the galleries inside there is a rooftop and sculpture garden.

Wonderful! My first time visiting and it was during the Birds in Art exhibit. I'm a bird watcher so I absolutely loved it! I may have to return again before I leave town. If I'm ever in Wisconsin again I hope it's during the Birds in Art annual exhibit. Love that it is free admission too.

I've been going to the Leigh Yawkey Museum since I was a kid. I've always enjoyed my visits. Heck one time I even had some of my art hanging on the walls there. Maybe it'll happen again sometime. I've seen lots of cool things there over the years. My favorite thus far has been the M.C. Escher exhibit. Today I saw a real Basquiat. No lie! Go there and check it out. Here are some other cool things I saw today!

Simply stunning and the lecture series is so worth the trip! Spend plenty of time strolling the roof top sculpture gardens to grounds and a study of mediums in the vast collection inside. Hard to pick a favorite.

Nature & Parks
Gardens
Monk Botanical Gardens is a 29-acre park with various themed areas, including a meditation garden, extensive trails, and a climbable treehouse. The gardens were donated by Robert W. Monk and now feature attractions such as the Kitchen Garden and Potager for seed-to-table experiences, Wildflower Woods, Memory Garden, and Meditation Garden. The site hosts events like Eats for Tweets where participants can create bird ornaments while feeding the garden birds.
Monk Botanical Gardens is a beautiful and peaceful place to visit. The gardens are full of colorful flowers, trees, and walking paths that make you feel calm and relaxed. It’s the perfect place to take a break from your busy day and enjoy the beauty of nature. One of the best parts is how the gardens mix nature with art. As you walk through, you’ll find creative art pieces that make the space even more special. It’s a great place for all ages—whether you want to take pictures, go for a quiet walk, or just sit and enjoy the view. The whole atmosphere is calm and welcoming. It’s very well taken care of, and you can tell a lot of love goes into keeping it clean and beautiful. I highly recommend Monk Botanical Gardens to anyone looking for a relaxing and inspiring place to spend time. Whether you go alone, with family, or with friends, you’ll leave feeling refreshed and happy.

Pleasantly surprised. Being that there's no entry fee, I was expecting a real small, quick in and out place, however, we spent over an hour and walked nearly 2 miles. Love the clean paths, variety of plants, wildlife and sculptures throughout. I have already recommended this to several others.

Really cute place. We stopped to stretch our legs on our way to Rhinelander. Spent about an hour just enjoying the peacefulness it offered. Nice easy walks anyone can do. They have a nice variety of flowers and garden sculptures. Only cost was a donation.
Debby S — Google review
I absolutely LOVE this botanical garden. It was very quiet which allowed me to take in the beauty. This place is stunning. Its also dog friendly which I appreciate. Other dog owners were responsible because we didnt see any dog potties on the grounds.

On Friday evening, I had the chance to experience Pizza in the Garden at Monk Botanical Gardens, and it was unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, I felt surrounded by fresh air, beauty, and a sense of community. The highlight was making our own pizzas with ingredients gathered right from the garden itself — fresh herbs, vegetables, and toppings that couldn’t have been more flavorful. We built our pizzas and then watched them bake in the Kitchen Garden’s wood-fired stove. The smell alone was incredible, but the taste was even better, warm and smoky, enjoyed under the open sky. As we ate, I noticed a young graduate taking photos in the gardens. It was such a sweet reminder of how this space is more than just a garden — it’s a backdrop for milestones, memories, and celebrations. Polito’s was wonderful, and Danni from the Gardens made the evening welcoming and special. What I left with was more than just a delicious meal — I left with memories of peace, joy, friendship, and love. Monk Botanical Gardens truly is a place where food, nature, and people come together in the most meaningful way.

Monk Botanical Gardens is such a hidden gem! The variety of scenery from lush gardens to winding trails makes it the perfect backdrop for both family and maternity photos. Everywhere you look there’s another beautiful spot, and the natural light is incredible. It’s peaceful, well-maintained, and offers so much variety without having to walk too far. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a gorgeous, relaxing place to explore or capture special memories!

Long but complete review. Keep reading! What to know: The Redeye Brewing Company in Wausau is the definition of "artisan". It is an enjoyable experience to visit. Best to have cash on hand to pay the bill as it will save you from paying an additional 3% for processing (not a problem, but worth knowing). Beer: The beer selection is wonderful. Every one I have tried has been smooth and tasty and genuinely small batch brewed. Selections change so recommending one doesn't make sense. Food: 11/10! Everything is made in house by a staff who not only cares how the flavors come together but also the presentation. There is also an additional menu of specialty items made fresh and in house that will leave you speechless. Staff: Knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, and generally the kind of wonderful people you'd want to spend time talking with, if they weren't working so hard already. Be sure to ask your server what their favorite things are, especially if you're having a hard time choosing. Guaranteed excellent recommendations as they each have something they love. Atmosphere: Warm, clean and eclectic, but not quirky. Recommended: The Forager pizza (phenomenal!), the One Love Bread Pretzel (beer cheese dip!), Carrot Cake (cream cheese frosting!), and the Black and White Brownie (not always available, but soon worth it!).

I've eaten here a few times. Recently, I came back in for lunch with a friend. We got there just as it opened, so we did not have to wait for a table. State park
Park
Rib Mountain State Park is a stunning natural attraction that boasts billion-year-old Rib Mountain, offering visitors a variety of activities to enjoy. The park features dense foliage, nature trails, and an observation tower with breathtaking panoramic views of Wausau and the winding river below. In addition to hiking and exploring the picturesque landscape, visitors can also take advantage of the popular ski area during the winter months.
Spent nearly 4 hours exploring Rib Mountain and it did not disappoint. The trails are well-marked, the views are stunning, and the elevation makes it feel like you're on top of the world (well, Wisconsin world at least 😄). Wildflowers were everywhere, the rock formations are beautiful, and the peacefulness? Chef’s kiss. Whether you want to hike, take dreamy nature photos, or just clear your head, this park has it all. Easy to moderate trails with rewarding views, plenty of shady spots to rest, and a solid mix of nature’s greatest hits—trees, birds, blooms, and big sky. 📍 Located just outside Wausau, WI ⭐️ Scenery: 10/10 ⭐️ Trail condition: 9/10 (a few rocky spots, bring sturdy shoes) ⭐️ Vibe: peaceful, refreshing, healing Highly recommend bringing water, your camera, and zero expectations—just let the mountain work its magic.

Love, love, love this state park! Beautiful views, especially in the fall. Kids love climbing on the rocks and they have a playground area for them as well. Venture up the tower, worth your time. You can also take the ski lift ride from the bottom and get off on top and venture around for the day, totally worth the cost for the views and adventure of riding the lift. Enjoy!!!
Becca J — Google review
Very nice state park. Lots of hiking options, from a quick path to the lookout tower to the longer yellow and blue trails. Great views. Fall color was started but not peak. Definitely worth it if you near by.
Debby S — Google review
We made a quick stop at Rib Mountain State Park while passing through the area. Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough time to explore it at a leisurely pace, and since it was only October 1st, the fall colors hadn’t fully developed yet — not quite enough to convince me to pay for a full visit this time. However, what I could see from the parking area near the entrance, combined with the park's potential and the presence of the scenic observation tower, definitely strengthened my desire to return. I’m planning to come back in about two weeks with more of my family, when the autumn foliage will hopefully be at its peak, so we can fully enjoy this unique and beautiful place. Most likely, I’ll update my review after that visit — with lots of vibrant and exciting new photos!
Olena D — Google review
It's a beautiful Park to visit, everything about it is gorgeous. Nothing beats Nature at it's finest! The view, when you reach the top is breath-taking. The Mountainous and Rocks formations are over 1.1 Billion years old, can you imagine that?!? Not to mention the Trails to walk! They have a Ski Slope, Observation Tower, Gift Shop, Scenic Amphitheater, and other Lookout areas. What's really neat is how the Village wraps all around the Park. Rib Mountain Park is on one Gigantic Hill right in the middle! One more thing, there's a Campground and Picnic areas. Our next Picnic-in-the-Park will definitely be here! 👍

Went here with my Dad when I was 6. Loved climbing the Van Douser tower! Not for those with fear of heights! Wonderful views from the top! Loved going back after all these years and bringing my son! Well worth the visit!
David H — Google review
We drove to the top and parked near the tower. So many great views from the top. The view from the top of the tower is awesome! A good variety of trails around the top. Lots of elevation changes on the trails with a lot of steps and rocks to negotiate, but overall not too crazy for most people. The trails all provide so many great photo spots on the variety of rock outcroppings. This park exceeded my expectations. I look forward to coming back in a couple of weeks when the leaves have really changed for fall.
Jason H — Google review
It felt like the forest was covered in gold during this time of the year. Beautiful place to visit and climb giant rock structures. The observatory Tower overlooks all the trees and allows you to see the urban side and the natural side. We went when the trees were yellow and orange which brings beautiful pots of color. Sadly last weekend might've been the last to enjoy the concession stand in the middle of the park so look forward to snacks in the spring and summer season, but for now, bring your own snacks.

Ski resort

Ski & Snowboard Areas
Nestled in the heart of Wausau, Wisconsin, Granite Peak Ski Area is a winter wonderland for snow sports enthusiasts. With over 200 acres of terrain and more than 70 runs, this ski resort caters to skiers and snowboarders of all levels. From beginners to seasoned pros, everyone can carve their way down the slopes and experience the thrill of navigating powdery terrain.
As a recent transplant to St. Louis from California, I was skeptical about finding a ski area within a day's drive that could offer real vertical and fun runs. After doing some research, I decided Granite Peak, Wisconsin— a seven-hour drive — was my best option, and it didn’t disappoint. This was my first time skiing at a Midwest resort, and I spent three days there during Christmas week. It was absolutely worth the trip. The snowmaking and grooming were excellent, with about three feet of snow on the slopes, and there were plenty of great cruisers to choose from. I’m an advanced-intermediate skier, and while none of the runs were overly difficult, they were still a lot of fun. I was able to lap runs easily and rack up a lot of vertical throughout the day. The terrain is steeper at the top and mellows out nicely toward the bottom, offering a good variety. Night skiing is included with the day pass, which makes it an even better value. The staff was friendly, parking was easy, and the resort sits right next to Wausau with all the accommodations and dining options I could want. The whole area felt like a winter wonderland, and the views from the top — looking out over the flat Wisconsin River Valley and the lights of Wausau — made the experience even more memorable. While I was a little disappointed that the entire mountain wasn’t open (it opened fully the week after Christmas), everything that was open was fantastic. I did notice a lot of beginners near the base area, so it’s important to use some caution where all the runs converge. However, once the full mountain is open — including the two chairs on the west and east side of the mountain that serve primarily intermediate and advanced runs — the skier traffic will spread out significantly. This will help minimize congestion at the bottom and provides more options to avoid beginner areas altogether. Overall, I had an incredible time and plan to make Granite Peak a bi-annual trip, fitting it in before my yearly two-week ski trip out west.
Joe S — Google review
WOW I love this Ski Area!! There are so many hill to go down hill from beginner to expert ski. I love the one hill with long and very steep hill because I go down REALLY FAST!!! AWESOME!! I did see one hill have for Snow Skier to do jump trick. There is one lift chair (next to building to left) go pretty steady and slow. While the other lift chair (next to building to right) was going pretty fast. I like that speed so I can get going. I do like their Ski store they have with variety ski outfits and magnet. The tickets line was good but I wish I didn't have to go to window to get my ticket. It would be nice to have a machine outside to scan QR code then it will print ticket out. When I get to ski lift gate to scan my ticket I sometime have problems to scan my ticket thru my Ski coat. I like their Bar restaurant and Cafe place to eat. It seems pretty expensive. I thought it was interesting Cafe offer DISCOUNT for season pass when order foods or drinks. While Bar restaurant doesn't offer one. lastly, one strange fee cost is that at Cafe I don't get E&A FEE at all. While Bar Restaurant does charge me E&A FEE.

We had a spectacular day weather wise for the fall lift ride. The crew running the lift were friendly and very courteous. Very helpful to anyone who needed assistance seating on the lift or exiting the lift. The young lady that was at the ticket booth was very friendly and helpful as well. We will definitely be back again next year!

Always come here in March or April when closer resorts are done for the season. Usually after a snowstorm. Always great conditions. Newer amenities. Fast lifts. General atmosphere reminds me of DH which I also love but bigger, with faster lifts and newer everything. These pictures taken on March 20th

If was great. This was the first time on the Lucy without skis. You can get on on top and walk a few trails.

Had to switch plans at the last minute because Cascade was sold out and I now say we are lucky that was the case. Granite Peak was a lot of fun. Great variety of runs, low wait times, friendly staff and a beautiful area. Indoor facilities including dining and bar were decent quality and good service. Will definitely go back.
Tim M — Google review
Nice base area, fast lifts Granite is a great Wisconsin ski hill. Can get a lot of skiing done with the fast lifts and one with mid mountain load/unload so you can lap the steeps or lower mountain. Paved parking lot is a plus.

Italian restaurant
Ciao is a top dining spot in Wausau, offering a delightful atmosphere and excellent service. The restaurant presents an eclectic menu with contemporary Italian and New American cuisine, featuring fresh pasta and delectable dishes like the "Shrimp Chartreuse" appetizer. The ambiance is perfect for a romantic dinner, while the menu includes options such as steak and seafood.
Really good food, atmosphere, and vibes. Our server was friendly and attentive. We were large group with reservations. Few of us were vegetarians. Based on requests, they made vegetarian dishes for us. That was really sweet. Squash ravioli with butter sauce was amazing! Definitely recommend this restaurant to try out.
Purvi P — Google review
I had an excellent quiet little dinner of ravioli followed by a peach bread pudding with ice cream. The restaurant had a really great atmosphere, locals and regulars at the bar enjoying dinner and small to midsize groups in the dining area. The food was wonderful. The service was good and the turnaround time on my orders was what I would expect for what I ordered.
Tim D — Google review
I tried the Chicken Parmesan at Ciao and overall it was a good experience, but a few things kept it from being perfect. The portion size was generous and the plate looked great when it arrived. That said, the sauce was a bit too dark and slightly bitter for my taste, and there wasn't quite enough of it. The chicken was crispy but came out darker than expected and had a slightly oily flavor. Also, the pasta on the side was a little cold, which took away from the comfort of the dish.
SAEED M — Google review
This was one of those restaurants that I will forever remember, and make an effort to visit again if I am passing through the area. The ambiance that greeted you while just walking in was so relaxed, and the layout of the dining area was cozy but not claustrophobic. My waitress Amanda was very friendly and engaging, she made sure to check in often and provided excellent service. The food was absolutely delicious, and I personally recommend the crème brûlée for dessert, it is quite delectable. Such an enjoyable experience all around. Looking forward to making my way back one day!
Meghan S — Google review
Chicken parmessan was dry and overcooked. Pasta was dry and a somewhat bitter tomato flavor. Not enough sauce. Generous chicken portion. The blueberry bread pudding also was dry and very overcooked. The waitress was lovely but failed to acknowledge my comments about the food. She did not offer to bring the manager to our table. The red wine by the glass was at best ok. We loved the venue. A beautiful place on a lovely street. If we go to Ciao again and the food is overcooked, we will send it back.

This used to be one of our favorite but the new menu is not as good as the old one. I ordered my go-to favorite sausage gnocchi and was pretty disappointed by the greasy mess I received. I don't think we'll be back anytime soon.
BAD M — Google review
I ordered the beet salad and Veal Marsala. I enjoyed both dishes and would recommend them. Service was okay not great I did notice tables near me were offered bread but I was never offered any. I was fine not having any but I still should have been offered it. Overall friendly staff, except for one lady. She never smiled and seemed like she did not want to be there. Also besides the service the may thing that stopped me from giving 5 stars was the horrible espresso. I believe it came from a Nespresso machine. Very disappointing.

The Mint Cafe is a charming eatery located in the heart of Wausau, Wisconsin. With its retro details and cozy booths, it offers a nostalgic ambiance for diners seeking classic American comfort food. Whether you're stopping by for a hearty breakfast or looking to enjoy a leisurely lunch, this cafe has you covered with its selection of sandwiches, burgers, steaks, and more. The establishment's unpretentious vibe and generous portions have made it a local favorite for years.
Super cute spot, oddly busy on a Wednesday (workday) afternoon! After tasting the food I was not surprised by how busy it was. Our food came out quickly, regardless of how many other patrons there were. I would love to stop by the next time I’m passing through town. Gluten free options!! Truly something for everyone.

The Mint Cafe catered my wedding at the Rock Ridge Orchard this summer and they did an amazing job. The service and food was amazing and countless guests complimented the food. I am vegetarian and they were able to accommodate which was great. My husband and I would recommend the Mint Cafe to anyone looking for catering. Also, we have eaten lunch here many times and the food and services is always 10/10.

So I came in because I'm always looking for a good place to eat. Quite often it’s less than stellar. Not here. Not only do I recommend here but I will probably make the 2 1/2 hour drive here to eat something else. The menu had some great choices but I got the chicken pesto sandwich. It was so tender and tasty. Many other places overcook the chicken so it is dry. Again, not here. I also had the salted Carmel cheesecake and yep, it was great. Can’t wait to come back and try some of the other things on the menu. If you are in Wausau, you gotta stop by. You won’t be disappointed!

This place is great! Stopped by on a Friday night and arrived at just the right time - we got a table outside, but as we were eating, the inside and outside filled up like crazy. It's super cute inside, and if it wasn't so nice out, we would have eaten in there! Fantastic old fashioneds, both brandy sweet and whiskey sour. Generous portions, good food and great prices. Very affordable. If I lived in the area, I'd be there every day!

A nice diner with friendly service. The ambiance inside seems a bit more modern than what I expected for an old time diner. The food was okay, but nothing overly special. The Cole slaw was good. Onion rings weren't very good. Fries were pretty average. Prices are reasonable for the portions. There is on street parking available. There is a small patio out front with tables. Men's bathroom is down in the basement and may present some difficulty for those with mobility issues.

Restaurant
Back When Cafe is a charming restaurant located in an urban-rustic space with a historic tin ceiling dating back to 1800. The menu features upscale home-style American cuisine made with sustainable and regional ingredients, often infused with Italian and French influences. The diverse menu includes classic dishes like beef tenderloin, walleye, salmon, and meatball pasta, as well as seasonal options such as wild pheasant and Chilean sea bass.
Absolutely loved this place. It was our first time there and we were pleasantly surprised! The food was wonderful and our waiter was very attentive. They had a piano bar that was an unexpected bonus as I love to sing and I blew them away with my "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" rendition which had the group of gals there begging for more and even asked if they could take a photo with me! We will definitely be going back the next time we are in Wausau ‼️

We stopped here during the Wausau Night Markey event. After a short wait, we were seated outside, which was perfect to listen to the music and people watch. I ordered the Chilean Seabass. Wow, it was absolutely amazing. It was cooked in a paper enclosure that kept the seabass very tender and moist. Christi ordered the Ragu Bolognese which was also very good. We had a wonderful experience for an impromptu visit. Our server, Payton, was amazing and offered honest reviews of various dishes. He was attentive and very pleasant. We highly recommend this restaurant for amazing food and service.

The evening was well spent with my daughter at Back When Cafe . We started with chz curds as appetizer followed by cheese ravioli , Arancini risotto balls , Cesar salad and lava cake with ice cream. The restaurant was cozy with fireplace going . A Gentlemen at the piano this evening . will definitely return!! delicious food ! prices aren’t that bad either .

Back when cafe is a treat! I got the lumberjack salad that had fresh vegetables, which was delicious. For dessert, I had a chocolate cake that was so rich but so good. The atmosphere is very pretty, with live music, posters, and a patio with flowers. My only complaint was the service, which was a little slow and our waitress got mixed up a few times. Overall a great experience.

food is always high quality. service/timing tonight was unacceptable. On a Friday evening where the dining room was less than 25% full, we waited more than 40 minutes between soup and entree while tables next to us got their food, ate, paid their bill and left. Our waiter came by several times asking if we'd like another cocktail, uncomfortably asked what our summer plans were, asked what we did for a living, but never addressed the wait. When we finally inquired about timing he said he just discovered an error in the kitchen (not sure he would've said anything if we hadn't asked directly) and offered no concession (one of the 4 times he asked if we wanted another cocktail he could've explained the wait and offered a complimentary beverage, but he didn't). Also it was our anniversary that we had noted on the reservation. On previous special occasions we had always been acknowledged. It will be a long time before we return for any special occasion, regardless of how good the food is.

Excellent food, and even BETTER customer service! I left my umbrella and they delivered it to me after I had already left! ❤️ We reserve a private room for our group of people and had the best experience! Highly recommend! 👍🏻👍🏻

Thai restaurant
Lemongrass Asian Fusion Restaurant & Bar is a new addition to the dining scene in Wausau, offering a delightful blend of Thai and Vietnamese flavors. The restaurant has garnered rave reviews since its opening, drawing attention for its beautiful decor and engaging yet relaxed atmosphere. Owned by the same proprietors as a well-established sister restaurant in California, this eatery has quickly become a favorite among locals and visitors alike.
My husband and I visited the area one afternoon and were craving some Thai food. This place did not disappoint! The flavors were amazing! If you like spicy, make sure to ask for the chili tray, the flavors are wonderful! Service was pretty good. We would definitely return for another date night!

Staff (Jahier and Thomas) are very friendly, consierate, and knowledgeable. I asked the server, Thomas, to decide for me between different choices I had and explained my wants n tastes. The server picked mixed vegetables dish, and I got it with chicken, beef, and shrimp. The flavors went so well together. I got level 2 and added chili oil, but I like a little spice. Overall food for fantastic and abundant. Portion was huge. Would definitely come here again!!!

The food was some of the best vegan Thai I’ve ever had. The birthday tradition here made for a hilarious, surreal dining experience. Twice during the meal, an employee walked out and started hammering on a drum to celebrate someone’s birthday. It’s so loud, you definitely can’t continue to hold a conversation. It was extremely funny and I hope this tradition continues until the end of time.

Upon arrival, my wife and I were disappointed with the limited parking. We had to park about a block away but once we got inside, we were blown away by the beautiful atmosphere and cleanliness of the place. The food was very good, I ordered the Pad thai and barbecue chicken. The staff was very friendly and right on point. Even the Bathroom was very very clean

Lemongrass is an amazing restaurant! Food is top notch! Service was awesome! Ambiance is incredible! It’s a Friday night and we had reservations for 10 at 630pm. Three of us arrived late at 7pm but our server, Jack, was experienced enough to know to give the time we needed. Plus extra cocktails (which are incredible) is never disappointing! Thank you to the entire staff at Lemongrass!

We arrived with less than 1/2 the place seated. Noticed 2 servers, bar tender, and host. We had a reservation but were able to be sat right away. Our server took around 10 minutes to greet us, again there are maybe 6 currently sat tables with no larger group than 3. So after the 10 minutes we ordered our drinks and meal at the same time, eventually our food came but still no drinks. We had been here for now 35 minutes, still no drinks, I’m basically done with my meal. I’ve worked as a server/bartender for over 15 years of my life, what the hell are yall doing? If 2 servers can’t handle more than 20 guests, that’s an issue. If a drink takes longer to touch a table than the main course, you have an issue. Was going to have the food higher and not even leave a review, but my wife just threw up this morning, very very disappointed. Will never come back

The food is good here, but at what cost? We were seated for at least 15-20 minutes before our server even came by. Before that, he literally walked past us like we were ghosts. No acknowledgement or anything. In fact, he went straight to the table that arrived ten minutes after us to take their order. I assumed maybe we were assigned someone else, but sure enough, he came by after their drinks, appetizers, and food were all put in. It took another 30 minutes to receive our drinks then at least another 45 minutes to receive our food. Within that time frame, the table that came after us were able to have all of their food, get a to go box, and leave before I was even halfway through my noodles. After we received our food, though, he was checking up on us regularly. Like dude, where were you when I sat here with a sad cup of ice and no drink? Suddenly, you take interest once I have noodles halfway in my mouth. Last time I ate here, we sat outside, and I had to come inside to ask for someone to come take our orders. I thought maybe it was just an inside outside miscommunication, but terrible service seems to be the standard here. The hosts were nice and helpful, even with the wait. But with the prices this place charges, they could afford to hire 5 more actually decent servers. Also, for the prices here, and how much they're trying to create a fancy atmosphere, the menus are disgusting and dirty.

We came for our anniversary and loved the atmosphere. There happened to be 3 birthdays celebrated while there and they have asian drums on the wall that they play and the dessert had a large firework on it! Quite exciting! My husband ordered the Filet Pho and I had the Pad Thai with Chicken. Our daughter ordered the Orange Peel Chicken. We all brought food home with us because there was just so much! The orange peel chicken was amazingly crispy even with the delicious sauce it was covered in. Would definitely order it again. I thoroughly enjoyed the Pad Thai and my husband had fun eating his Pho. Our favorite items were the fried churro dessert and the raspberry vodka cocktail (can't remember the name!). We did also try the pork eggrolls and they were good, but we probably wouldn't order them again. Service was great and we'd definitely come back for another special occasion.
