Forks

Forks is a city on Washington's Olympic Peninsula. The Forks Timber Museum tells the story of the region's logging industry. Around the city, the Calawah, Sol Duc and Bogachiel rivers are known for their abundance of steelhead and salmon. Just east of Forks, sprawling Olympic National Park features glacier-studded peaks and the moss-covered Hoh Rain Forest. West, rugged Rialto Beach is known for its rock formations.

Chamber of Commerce
The Forks Chamber of Commerce Visitors Center is a must-visit for Twilight fans, as it fully embraces the Twilight theme with an array of souvenirs and themed resources. Inside, visitors can find a store dedicated to Twilight accessories, offering meticulously crafted items like Bella's engagement ring and Edward's wrist cuff. The center also provides maps, tour recommendations, and restaurant lists for visitors to explore the town. Additionally, outside the center is Bella's iconic truck, perfect for photo opportunities.
I had a great experience! This was our first stop and the sweet lady working was super helpful and it was fun chatting with her. We signed up for a private tour at Forever Twilight and also were given a map and a bunch of info on the town. The city of Forks is small but it was so fun to visit.

This has to be your first stop when you arrive in Forks! ❤️ They are so helpful and friendly. They provided us with a map to visit all the Twilight places. The map was excellent, we just followed it exactly. We were able to take pictures of everything. Just as they ask, please remember all these places are private and show respect. We ate at Sully's drive in restaurant. It has a Bella burger basket. We saw this place in the restaurant guide we were given. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.

This place has a lot to check out starting from the visitor center to the logger memorial to Bella’s trucks to the Forks Timber Museum to the welcome sign that says “The City of Forks Welcomes You”. So there are two “The city of forks welcomes you” signs. One is here and the other is as you enter Forks from Port Angeles. That sign is a little harder to get by but this sign is much easier in terms of accessibility and getting some photos. This reminded me of the twilight movie, and luckily the day I went there, it was cloudy and raining, and that most certainly set the scene. This place was not super crowded but there were a bunch of people around checking out the museum and visit center and Bella’s trucks. A little walk away is the population of forks board to check out! This place is free to visit - no tickets or reservations required. However, you might see a line of people waiting to click some photos, so that might add to your wait time. There are two trucks: a red one and an orange one. Both are Bella’s trucks, one is from the movies and the other is from the novels that Stephanie Meyer wrote. This place has a lot of people checking out the trucks and getting photos with them. It’s the perfect place if you love twilight book and/or movies! This place is free to visit and no reservation or tickets are needed but just a heads up - you might find a lot of people in line to click some photos, so add that to your wait time. The forks welcome sign is also nearby and the timber museum is right next to the trucks. Amazing things to check out as well! The Loggers Memorial was right across the Forks chamber of commerce visitor center, Bella’s trucks, the Forks Timber Museum, and the welcome sign. The Forks Loggers Memorial remembers people who lost their lives working in one of the most dangerous professions - the timber industry. Spending time here followed by a visit to the Forks Timber Museum gives a lot of perspective about the Timber industry, the dangers of working there, its history, and the lives of people working there. My visit here felt very meaningful and I am glad to have had the chance to spend time at the loggers memorial and reflect. This place is free to visit - no tickets or reservations needed. The visitor center has information about what to do in Forks - places to visit, twilight themed places etc. The staff there were very kind and helpful and gave me some maps and also some tips about how to get to Hoh rainforest (the best time is before 7 AM or after 4 PM to avoid traffic and crowds).

Wonderful place to explore for any Twilight fan! They had the welcome sign, Bella's truck, standees for photo ops and some cool merch. The sweet lady at the front desk really helped us find other Twilight locations in town and gave us some really helpful maps. Don't miss it!

If you're in Forks for a "twilight pilgrimage" like we were, stopping at the Chamber of Commerce at the start of your trip is a must. You can find maps, lists of places to eat, fun twilight merch, trail maps, and more at the CoC. The "welcome to forks" sign is also here, and a must for a photo op. I would also recommend taking the fun little nature trail for a spin. It's so pretty, and a great place for pics! (A little muddy tho. But hey, it's forks. Rain happens. Nothing we couldn't handle with closed toed shoes. Just be careful with white shoes, flip flops, or little kid)
Kylie P — Google review
The girls working here were SO welcoming and friendly and super helpful when we asked about good places to hike or sights to see in the area, not just on Forks. They were very knowledgeable, and I loved all the Twilight stuff. It's also just a great place to stop if you need a break. There is a picnic area, some cool artifacts to look at, and an easy 0.4 mile loop hike through an old growth forest.
Barbara O — Google review
Forks can be a fun visit on your way to the La Push, especially if you're hoping to catch the Cullens in action. There's a Treaty Line billboard on the way to First Beach, and the Chamber of Commerce has two trucks that are the types Bella drove in the book, and in the movies. There's also a store in town that has a selection of Twilight stuff, in addition to native items and the typical tourist stuff. However, if you're expecting it to look like the Forks protected by Chief Swan, you might be a little disappointed. Have fun though!

Nestled in a cozy cabin setting, the Forks Timber Museum is a treasure trove of local logging and farming history. Established in 1984, this museum celebrates Forks' legacy as the self-proclaimed Logging Capital of the World from the 1950s to the 1970s. It not only preserves vital information about logging but also highlights the pioneer spirit of early homesteaders who ventured into the rugged Olympic Peninsula wilderness.
We stopped by when looking at Twilight sites. They had a cute Twilight scavenger hunt where you got a certificate if you completed it. We had a great time exploring the museum. While it is small, I learned quite a bit of the history. The people there were very kind. Definitely stop by if you're in town.
Shelly L — Google review
We hiked the short trail behind the center and went in the visitor center where the young girls working were very helpful and friendly to everyone. We also got many useful brochures and explored the gardens and exhibit out front The actual museum looked interesting, but we did not pay to go in. There is a small lookout tower you can go in but only from the museum. Having been to the Tillamook Forestry Museum with a TALL lookout tower, we decided we have seen similar before.

Forks Timber Museum is a delightful blend of education and charm, tucked into the heart of Washington’s logging country. Housed in a snug cabin setting, it offers engaging exhibits on the region’s rich timber and pioneer history, from vintage logging tools to a towering fire lookout and even a 9-foot cook stove from an old logging camp. It’s unpretentious and fun. We had a great time!
Sylvain P — Google review
It was my first time at Forks timber museum. It’s an amazing place with lots of history - I learned a lot about the timber industry. This reminded me of some of the exhibits I have seen in Vancouver a few years ago. The Forks timber museum has two floors with exhibits. They also had a twilight related quiz where I had to identify a couple of things in the museum that are related to twilight. It was such a fun trivia quiz! We can take a sheet of the quiz and a pencil with us while we explore the museum and note down the answers and return it at the front desk after completing the quiz. It took me about 2.5 hours to explore all the exhibits in the museum. On the second floor, there’s some open area too from where you get a 360 degree view of Forks and beyond. The museum was not very crowded when I visited. I bought the ticket at the front information desk. The person at the front information desk was very helpful. He gave me guidance on how to get to the bus stand to catch the bus back yo port Angeles. He was very kind and helpful, and I really appreciated it. The ticket to enter the museum cost me $5. The museum has a restroom which was clean and well maintained and has a drinking water facility.

Great little museum showing the history that logging has in Forks. The 5 dollar entry fee was reasonable and military get in for free!
Renee R — Google review
Great little museum with local and regional history and numerous original artifacts. An original indigenous canoe, stopped mid-carving in the 1800's, is preserved showing how the local tribes crafted their iconic vessels. A cookhouse stove with the mock-up of what a logger's meal would be like and the mammoth task it was supporting logging camp. A fire watch tower with original finishings. Outside is a short rainforest loop trail, perfect for families.
Stevena H — Google review
A nice stop. Lots of old timber equipment and some nice stories to go with them. The fire lookout tower was the best part.
Dawn B — Google review
The timber museum has so much history packed inside of it one could spend hours reading about Forks great logging history, and tragedies. There's information about things to do in forks and the surrounding WA area, as well as a slippery .4 mile trail around back. The views simply cannot be replicated from the trail, or the fire watch tower up above. They provide a scavenger hunt inside for the Twilighters, very cute and fun. And the shop next to the museum is a must-see if you are a fan of the books or movies! 10/10 would visit again just to take in the history.

Immerse yourself in the world of Twilight at the Forever Twilight in Forks Collection, a museum that houses an impressive array of props and costumes from the iconic film series. This must-see destination offers fans a chance to relive their favorite moments from the saga and step into the enchanting realm of vampires and werewolves.
This museum was so amazing!! It was smaller than expected but it was so full of some incredible memorabilia!! The employees were so fun and knowledgeable about everything Twilight. ❤️ You are only inside the museum for 15 minutes but it is more than enough time to see all the amazing treasures from all 5 films!!

I usually never leave reviews because I've had no reason to, but my experience at this museum is something I'll never forget because of how my family and I were treated. We are outsiders and came to Forks to visit the Chamber of Commerce only. At this center, we were told about this specific museum and the time it closes. No more information. The man highlighted the location of the museum on a tour map he gave to us, told us they closed at 4:00, and we were off to explore. Well, we arrived to look at the museum and nobody was outside. No sign on the door stating they were closed, no one outside telling us they were closed — aside from a lady speaking on the phone — nothing. It was 3:35, we were told it closes at 4:00 PM. So, imagine my surprise when we tried to look for an associate and someone came from behind me, and in front of my mother, telling us they were closed and to exit the building. The First Lady, who was outside, approached my family and me to tell us that they closed EARLY. She said, "We closed early today because we had no visitors." Then she explained that she'd ask another worker inside if we could at least take a peek. We weren't expecting a straight 'Yes,' as we understood it was closed, but we also weren't expecting the attitude we got from one of the women who works there. I was able to record some of the interaction, as she approached us with clear anger and hostility, immediately making everyone in my family uncomfortable. Still, we told her our situation. To which she met with doubt and hesitation. We told her the man told us about this museum, we had no idea WHAT the museum was called, only the description of what it looked like, and she told us "I doubt he told you that because he knows we close at 4:00PM and the last group came at 3:45. If you had been here at 3:30PM, you would've gotten out at 4:00PM. Which is when we close." Fine, that's fine, it's understandable, but what was unnerving is that she didn't believe what we were told. And the excuses we were given. When my mother tried to explain what we were told, the woman said a man's name, my mother replied "I don't know what his name is," and the worker immediately said, "Well he's the only man there." She also claimed the "museum" and the people at the chamber of commerce work together, which is why he would've "never" told us they close at 4:00PM and to visit the area. So I asked why he wouldn't tell us that the last tour is at 3:30PM if they work together, she said "He probably didn't tell you because we were already closed!" So which is it? Did you close early? Or was the last tour at 3:30PM? 3:45PM? You don't expect your partner company to tell visitors pertinent information? People who clearly weren't aware of your museum until 40 minutes before "closing."? Genuinely baffled by the way we were treated. And the cherry on top was the associate flipping the situation onto us, by claiming "This is why tourists have to look at the website." As if that alone explained any of what we were told. You don't get to be rude to people who don't know about your business and expect them to accept it. Your museum is alive because of tourism, not the other way around. Airing out your frustrations on outsiders doesn't help keep your company alive. DO BETTER. Edit: I've inserted the ONLY signs we saw outside. These photos were taken as we were entering the premises. So, no, there were no signs stating the museum was actively closed, but on the contrary.

We had a wonderful experience - but plan ahead!! Read when they will be open and arrive early to be first in line. We went on a weekday towards the end of May and were shocked to find out quickly the time slots became full. Never assume "that there won't be a crowd". The person who gave the speech before we went in the museum was phenomenal! The time slots are necessary because the museum itself is tight/small, but it is jammed pack with such fun, lovely things to look at and reminisce on. Chuckesme is as terrifying as you'd imagine. There is no official gift shop, but there is plenty of merch you can buy around town.
Sarah B — Google review
Excellent from beginning to end! The staff was lovely and had lots of knowledge about all things Twlight. 😊 And, it's FREE! Donations are welcome. You do need to reserve a time slot, so keep that in mind when you visit. There are a few cute shops nearby to keep you busy while you wait for your reservation. They encourage pictures and keep things orderly so everyone gets a chance to see every single item. 🥰 10/10!

Had a great time here over the weekend! We saw that the website said to arrive early as possible, so we got there at 11:40 AM. The woman booking us was very friendly and gave us the next available spot for our group of three, which was an hour away. We came back fifty minutes later, waited about five minutes, and promptly entered. The gallery itself is small; we spent about ten minutes in the room that it’s in. We were aware of this from checking the website, though, so we weren’t disappointed— plus the tickets are free! If you’re having a difficult time scheduling, you aren’t missing too much by not stopping here, but if you are able to, it’s a great way to spend a bit of time in Forks. Definitely recommend! Also, side note: I don’t normally leave reviews, but I felt compelled to this time because of how great our tour guide was, my friends and I loved him! I wish I could remember his name, but he had brown hair if that helps identify him lol. He had something to say about literally every item in the museum, he told us that he liked to rewatch the movies to gather esoteric lore to share with people. He was so enthusiastic, you could tell that he loved what he was doing and we loved his energy!
Daisy — Google review
I've missed this every time we came to Forks, but finally made it. PRO TIP: show up early and get in the waiting list - they only take 10 people at a time. Then go shop until it's time for your tour... it worked out perfect!

Amazing collection (thanks Jack Morrissey and all contributing people/entities!), no reservations, they start assigning times to the queue starting at 11:30, 15 minutes per group of about 10. Best to get there early to get in first when they start at 11:45 or at least on list early as times can fill up quickly throughout the day. Free entry although donations encouraged! John's Beachcombing Museum is a museum in Forks, Washington that collects items from local beaches as well as those from far away. The museum is unique and one of the attractions in Forks that tourists should definitely check out.
If you find yourself in Forks, WA, make sure to visit this incredible attraction! The museum boasts a fascinating collection gathered over more than 40 years by its curator. Many of these unique items have washed ashore and are linked to significant historical events. The exhibits are beautifully and creatively arranged throughout the spacious museum, ensuring that every area is thoughtfully utilized. Plus, you can write a note to include in a bottle that the curator releases into the sea. They also offer scavenger hunt sheets for those looking to discover hidden treasures within the museum!

This was one of the most interesting museums we've ever been to! We hadn't researched tis place so we thought it was just the sculpture displays outside (which are awesome in their own right), but were delighted to find a whole large museum of beach combing artifacts inside. Truly fascinating. We expected to be there for 10 minutes, but stayed captivated for over an hour. John is very nice and fun to talk to. The sand box for kids to play with was a genius way to keep kids busy. Thanks for having this open to the public!

What a wonderfully weird walk around the world. It's beautiful and strange and sometimes sad. Destruction and sometimes bad luck sending treasure from across the world floating up to our shores. His collection is expansive and we'll organized. He was kind and knowledgeable. Beware for ill behaved children because most of these treasure are Do Not Touch and he rightfully deserves to have this rule followed. Worth the trip for those who walk off the beaten path.

Loved it! So interesting everything that he's had been collecting and is STILL collecting from our beaches. He has so many interesting stories to tell too! Thank you for the conversation and I love my new car dangle made by his wife.

Absolutely pull off for a long and amazed linger. John has collected and curated curiosities from the sea- manmade or fossilized, bones or plastic waste. He’s a kind library of history. You will long for the time and eye to gather interesting trash and treasures!
Amy S — Google review
Incredible! I cannot imagine the number of hours that went into collecting and then displaying the finds. Phenomenal. If you are anywhere near Forks, make the trip!
Troy P — Google review
Worth visiting. My kids liked doing the scavenger hunt and playing with the sand box. The displays are thoughtfully crafted. The whale bones were especially interesting as well as some of the older items like a life boat radio from WW2. The displays of container spill items and the foam trash that has animal bites taken out of them are a good sobering reminder of the impact on the ocean of our consumerism The curator, John, seems like a really neat person who even travelled to Japan after the 2011 tsunami to return some items lost at sea to their owners. The woman there was a gracious and generous host. There is handmade jewelry from sea glass and authentic Japanese glass floats and other special treasures to take home for reasonable prices. This home grown museum is a gem on the Olympic peninsula.

Wonderful venue for special events but what's up with no handicapped parking? Two hour parking on the street doesn't cut it. If you are a person using a wheelchair and attending an all day event here, this is a real issue.
Marsha J — Google review
As a Twilight fan, I was delighted by this free gift from the town to its tourists. The loveliest of docents shared with me some fun little trivia tidbits of the franchise and they had the infamous Chuckesmee there, alongside several outfits and various props. I highly recommend this attraction for fans.

A good friend just had a Celebration for Life there. It's a beautiful room, wood floors, open beam ceilings, lots windows, but not too visible for people passing by. Nice size industrial kitchen, and bathrooms. I would recommend renting this room.
Lori C — Google review
It's a good space supported by a devoted community following. It seems more aimed at enlivening local culture than to be outwardly directed at tourism. If you're lucky enough to be here during an event, it's worth a visit to see what the home folks are up to in a small town.

The Twilight "museum" was good. Actual pieces from the movies, like some of the clothing, motorcycles, and props. The proprietor knew a LOT about the books & movies and can tell you all the hot spots to hit around town & outside town, as well as general Forks insight. They are donations only, so leave some money in the jar!

American restaurant
Located in downtown Forks, WA, The In Place is a charming American diner known for its delicious breakfast and lunch options. Visitors rave about the traditional American breakfast and the perfect portion sizes of their meals. The restaurant's cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make it a must-visit spot for those looking to enjoy a delightful dining experience in this small town. Guests particularly praise the chopped steak with grilled mushrooms and onions, as well as the fresh berry pie that isn't overly sweet.
We stayed at the Forks Motel which is across the street from The In Place. (The Pacific Inn is next door to the restaurant) This made it very convenient for us to walk over, so we ate three meals here — two dinners and one breakfast. Good variety on the menu. Our service was fine all three meals. My favorite thing I tried was the grilled vegetable pasta. It had grilled zucchini, green and yellow peppers, onions, and tomatoes. My son and husband both liked the grilled salmon pasta. My daughter’s favorite was the grilled chicken dinner. She ordered it both dinners because she liked it so much the first time! She didn’t like the mashed potatoes the first night (they tasted like they might have been instant mashed potatoes) but really liked their French fries. I highly recommend the hot chocolate! It was delicious! I would definitely eat here again and recommend it!

One of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time. Steak was perfectly grilled to med rare, asparagus has just enough crunch and not too soft, and the baked potato has no raw spots and the bacon was fresh, not bacon bits! Service was amazing and she was very friendly.

This is a delightful place, and these people posting meh reviews must be unhappy in their own lives. Our waitress was lovely, and the (diner style) food was delicious. The biscuits are especially good! And the table art, mural, and long history of being family owned give it so much charm.
Betsy A — Google review
Unique locally owned & operated family run restaurant. The food was good "home-cookin' " quality. We were there for breakfast. I really liked the atmosphere! Each wooden slab table-top had a hand-painted nature scene on it, then shellacked over. I was visiting with the waitress & she told me there were 3 different artists that painted the table designs through the 35+ years her family has owned & operated the restaurant. There is also a large hand-painted mural on the wall of the restaurant. If you find yourself in Forks, WA, stop at the In Place for a great meal!
Becky M — Google review
We almost didn’t eat here due to the lower ratings. We found the server very helpful and friendly. The prices were very reasonable, but keep in mind there is a up-charge of 3.9% if not paying cash. The food was tasty (diner style food) and the restrooms were clean.
Suzanne T — Google review
It was my first time there. I was here in July on a rainy day. I found this place to be located ideally and very easily accessible even by foot. And the service at the restaurant was just amazing! I am a vegetarian and I could not find any solid options on the menu outside of soup that was vegetarian. So I ordered the broccoli vegetarian soup and I asked if I could get a vegetarian sandwich. I was told that while it is not on the menu, I could certainly get a grilled cheese sandwich with veggies, which worked perfectly for me! I loved the soup and the sandwich both. It was a proper meal - so delicious and filling! I would have loved to get their hot chocolate if only I wasn’t so full! But that’s for another time! ❤️ The place was crowded when I went but I could luckily get a seat. So if possible it might always be a safer option to have a reservation in advance. The restaurant has clean restrooms.

Wild caught sockeye Alaskan Salmon/ or Local salmon (when available) & Sea food alfredo. (But only shrimp lol) Salmon was moist, perfectly seasoned/cooked, lemons and butter. With sauté asparagus. Chose salad with Marion berry balsamic vinaigrette. (Gluten free) Shrimp Alfredo (Sea food Alfredo) came with bell peppers, zucchini and onions. Shrimp was cooked just right, alfredo was the right kind of salty and flavorful. Came with a butter dinner roll.

Overall great place to go as far as Forks goes. Had dinner there and wasn't too impressed with the seafood Alfredo pasta. Wasn't prepared for it to have onions in it but anyways. There were two shrimp in it and one had some shell left on it. There was one small scallop. The salmon in it was good. But two shrimp and one scallop just really skimping. Breakfast was much better with solid omelet, good hash browns and toast was great. No complaints there. I liked it and would go back again. Service was good and fast. Seating was easy and no wait or anything. Anyways like I say great place overall.

Located in Forks WA, Pacific Pizza is a local favorite for pizza and beer. The restaurant has a small salad bar that is fresh and tasty, making it an excellent option if you're looking for something to take away. The pizza is also yummy, and the prices are excellent for beer.
We had pizza and lasagna!! Pizza- exactly as ordered. Hot fresh and tasty. Lasagna was definitely made in house and was fresh, piping hot and delicious!! We did delivery— the girl that answered was friendly and polite and the driver delivered right on time and was very nice!! Yummy and good !!

We stopped by this pizza place on our way out of Olympic National Park, absolutely starving and it hit the spot. I ordered the small basil pesto chicken pizza, and it was packed with flavor. It came with four generous slices, which was more than enough, especially for the price. The staff was super friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Great little gem in Forks!

The food portions are huge. The prices affordable. The service is fast. My order came with a salad that I can assemble on my own since they have a salad bar. They also serve fountain drinks. The lasagna was a bit tart for my liking only because I'm not used to Italian style pasta. It seems that the pizza is popular here and I might order it next time I pass this area again.

We ordered Ranch chicken Pizza and Chicken Wings takeout from Pacific Pizza in Forks. The food was good and tasty, though nothing particularly special for the price — a bit on the pricey side. The restaurant seemed quite busy, which might explain why it took a while to get our order. Overall, decent food and flavor, but expect a bit of a wait if they’re crowded.

We came shortly after it opened on Monday, so it wasn't busy. Service was friendly and food came out quickly. The place was so cold (AC set to 62F!), I had my hoodie up the whole time. The salad bar was solid. The wings were decent. We had the beef ravioli in meat sauce and chicken fettuccine Alfredo. Both tasted like the sauce came from a jar, and were room temperature. We should've ordered pizza instead.

How lucky we tried this restaurant. The line was out the door for good reason. The staff were friendly and though backed up came around to offer us more beverages. The salad was fresh but the pizza was amazing. The crust was homemade. Absolutely the best I’ve eaten. The margarita toppings were amazing, salty with basil. Such a great option in Forks!

We came here about 500 pm on a Wednesday with low expectations. You order at the counter and take a number back to the table. The boys running the front counter were not engaged and we had to repeat and correct what we were ordering. I ordered a gluten free crust pizza. They brought the first two out, then mine - which was on regular crust. It was wrong. They said they would remake it. 20 min later I’m at the counter. No remade pizza to be seen. Stood there another 10 min because they found it. It was only partially cooked and inedible. That wasn’t the worst part….. most of the tables were covered in PILES of dirty dishes. The door was open and clouds of flies were all over the restaurant. Don’t eat here. Go to the grocery store next door, buy some ready made food and eat in your car. It’s better.

Forks has limited options to dine out. The menu here is pretty diverse. All homemade food. The value is pretty good. Not a fancy place but was good filling dinner for us.

Located on Calawah Way in Forks, Benellis Burgers is a top choice for those seeking quick and delicious fast food options. Despite being relatively new to the scene, this eatery has quickly gained a reputation for serving some of the best burgers in town. While there may be a bit of a wait for your order, the quality of the food makes it well worth it. Visitors rave about the fresh ingredients used in their burgers, along with their thick shakes and tasty fries.
Best burger place in town. The fries are delicious too. Much better than Sully's Burgers.

I am not a picky eater, I was surprised by the wait and actually began reading the reviews while I was in line. Two cars were in front of me and by the time I got my food it was nearly 45 minutes. How can service be that slow, despite a short line, and the food is so burnt it’s inedible? Is the chef being forced to cook at gunpoint?

Driving through Forks we found this drive-through to be very busy and figured we found the go to place for lunch. We ordered corndogs, nuggets and a sauerkraut dog. The amount of sauerkraut on my dog was lost as if the jar was empty. I was expecting it to be loaded☹. And all of the extra side sauces we order were forgotten. I would definitely give this place another chance hoping this was just an off day.

This place is far from fast food! The waits are pretty long but what you get is a Burger that is made with fresh ingredients and care, a thick shake that is to die for, and some mean fries! I highly recommend checking this place out you won’t be disappointed!

Great food! We drove through on our way out from La Push and it was a place that was open at 8pm. The food was quick and tasty, with everyone in the car well-fed for the long ride home. Definitely a good option if you're passing through.

1st Car in line (nobody ahead of us) yet still took a very long time to get food. I would estimate about 20 minutes or so. Prices seemed reasonable. Service was...rude and weird that no windows open (all blocked off) and then quickly closed after taking the money. Food was meh. Fine but nothing special. Onion rings (battered not breaded) were a tad over cooked and could use seasonings. Fries seemed slightly better. Burgers were ok. Again, nothing to write home about. All food was hot which we took to justify the wait as it was prepared to order. The biggest issue aside from the wait and less than pleasant service, is that one of us is experiencing some stomach issues almost immediately after eating there. Not sure we would bother again. Our quest for great food in Forks goes on!

My honest review, these are some of the best burgers I've ever had in my life. There was a little bit of a wait for the food but the food was worth it. Made about a three hour drive to forks to visit and was starving, this was exactly what I needed. I would absolutely go out of my way just to get these burgers again.

We swung in to this drive through for a late lunch. My bacon cheeseburger we served on a nice brioche bunch, the patty was decent sized. Nice amount of toppings and condiments. Overall the burgers are perfect combination of components. I was very happy and if we are in Forks in the near future I'm definitely swinging by. I'm trying the onion rings next time.

American restaurant
Blakeslees Bar and Grill is a casual spot in Forks, WA that offers a laid-back atmosphere with pub grub, pool tables, and entertainment like karaoke. It's known for serving some of the best food in the area, including typical pub fare such as small dishes like sips, mozzarella sticks, loaded nachos, sandwiches, and fried foods. Visitors have praised the delicious bacon cheeseburger and turkey Reuben. The service is fast and friendly with plenty of parking available.
Was just in town for a couple of days to serve as an HQ for hikes in Olympic. Stumbled upon Blakeslees while trying to find a good spot for a burger and a beer. This is the spot to go to in town. We came back several times throughout the week. Y’all, the fries. They’re like curly steak fries. Big, crispy, but almost like mashed potatoes inside. So good. Also got their special burger and a chicken sandwich on different days. All delicious. Recommend dipping the fries in some of their wing sauces! Staff was super friendly and the place is big. Great beer selection. Worth the wait if there is one!

Blakeslee’s Bar is a great local spot with good food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive, which really adds to the experience. The menu has some solid options, and everything we tried was tasty and well-prepared. One small letdown was the cocktails—they’re all shaken by default, even when the drink would typically call for a different method, which does affect the flavor. That said, if you politely ask, the bartenders are more than happy to make them properly. It’s a nice sign that they care and are open to feedback. Overall, a great place to grab a bite, relax, and enjoy a casual night out.

It was my first time visiting Olympic National Park, and finding a restaurant in the area was a bit challenging. Blakeslee’s Bar and Grill turned out to be the right place to eat. For lunch, we ordered clam chowder soup and it was delicious. The garlic Parmesan wings were juicy and amazing, the burger was on point, and my family said the Reuben they ordered was absolutely delicious. Even the fries were really good. Everything we had for lunch tasted great. The wait was quite long, but it was worth it because the food was excellent. We stopped by again the next day for dinner on our way back to Amanda Park. The soup of the day was also good, and I ordered chicken wings again because they were just amazingly delicious. It was a bit loud during dinner, which is understandable since it’s also a bar. The bathroom was clean, and they require an ID before seating. It can get loud so it might be a little difficult to hear conversations, but overall it’s a great spot for good food after exploring the park.

Had dinner here recently in early May. Food was good - the chowder was very tasty, the wings with hot sauce was just nice, the steak medium doneness was perfect, elk burger was a nice experience, the chips and fries were good too.

Blakeslee’s Bar & Grill was right next to our Airbnb, so we decided to give it a try. We ordered the “jumbo” wings with BBQ and mango habanero sauce, the “famous” Mill Burger, and the classic salad with a breaded chicken breast. The wings were definitely the highlight of the meal, and the salad was solid. The burger, however, was just okay. The service left a lot to be desired. We sat for about 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us to take drink orders, and then waited another 30 minutes to be told they had run out of chicken breast and could only offer breaded chicken instead. Overall, decent wings but the slow service and underwhelming entrées kept this from being a better experience.

Good place to grab a burger and fries. Was a short wait when I walked in. Seems slightly unorganized when seating people but they get the job done. Must show ID and be 21 after 3pm, no exceptions. They were super busy when I was here and service showed. Everyone was overwhelmed but still friendly. Plan on waiting extra time if they are busy. I had the deep fried mushrooms to start with. They were your normal deep fried mushrooms with ranch. Piping hot and tasty. The elk burger was cooked perfectly and had good flavor. The fries were curly steak fries. Also really tasty. Had a beer with my meal as well that was good. The silver city ipa. Overall great place for food while you’re in town.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Blakeslee’s Bar & Grill – Great Food, Great Vibes! BBG (Blakeslee’s Bar & Grill) was the perfect spot for a laid-back evening during our trip. We were a group of six, and every single one of us left impressed! The food was fantastic — flavorful, hearty, and exactly what you’d hope for from a top-notch grill. From burgers to wings and everything in between, every bite was satisfying. The service was friendly and quick, and the overall atmosphere was casual, upbeat, and welcoming. Whether you’re just stopping by for a drink or sitting down for a full meal, BBG delivers a great experience all around. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area — it’s a local gem!

The service was bad... it was a sunday when we came in and the closest restaurant we got. Upon arriving, we had to wait for a couple of minutes to be seated since the restaurant at that time was a bit full and only 2 servers available. They asked for ID which was weird since we were only there to have a late lunch after our hike. We were seated beside 2 older customers who warned us "if you guys are hungry and in a hurry... this is not a good place to eat".. we started chatting with them and we found out that they have been waiting more than an hour for their food.. and so as the other 5 tables before us.. but we decided to stay.. we waited.. and waited.. and waited... and the server keeps on updating us "your food is about to come out of the kitchen". After 1 hr and 10 mins.... Alas... food is served.... the burgers are okay... i love the fries and the clam chowder was savory... 5 mins after serving the food, the server gave us our bill (weird)... she made a mistake on the charges so we asked to fix and print it again.. came back with another confusing bill print out... anyways, the experience i would say was not good, we were tired and hungry and the whole waiting game was disappointing... I don't know if others have the same experience with this restaurant.... I just wanted to share mine and maybe they can do better next time...

Customers have praised the friendly service and quick turnaround time, although some suggest having more signs for drink options further away from the window. Stopped on our way thru as we love little coffee drive up spots. This one did not disappoint! I got the Nutella iced mocha 10/10, hubby got a black coffee. Everything tasted amazing and service was excellent!

No cinnamon rolls (old photo shows them on the menu). She was nice but microwaved the heck out of the scone without asking if we wanted it nuked. Good coffee.

On our way to the Washington beaches, we saw this little coffee shack that had a long line of cars waiting to drive up to the window. So a few hours later when we drove back through Forks, we decided to stop. My husband and daughter both got milkshakes that were delicious. My son and I got hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was very disappointing as it just tasted almost like hot milk. I wondered if maybe it hadn’t been stirred and would taste more like chocolate when I got to the bottom, but that was not the case. We had some friends that are coffee aficionado’s and they said the coffee was very good. There were a lot of items on the menu including bakery style items and fruit smoothies.

The coffee was very good. I had a cinnamon loaf. It was good, but cold. I wish they would have warmed it up. The wait was long too. There were 2 cars in front of us and the wait seemed longer than it should have been. I would recommend this place to others though. I wouldn't recommend going next door to The In Place. Bad food...Bad service...unsafe back parking lot (dark with no lighting at night)

Stopped here every single day during our whole trip! Coffee is amazing, sandwiches are great, and workers are super nice. I already miss it. I highly recommend, nothing in Seattle is as good as them. Can't wait for my next trip to Forks!
