Forks in 1 day

If you only have 1 day to spend in Forks, we’ve narrowed down the top places you should check out to get the best experience of your time here.
Forks is a small logging town on Washington’s Olympic Peninsula, known as a base for exploring Olympic National Park, including the nearby Hoh Rain Forest with its moss-draped trees and hiking trails. The town sits within easy driving distance of rugged Pacific beaches such as Rialto and Second Beach, popular for tidepooling and coastal scenery. Forks gained international attention as the primary setting of the “Twilight” book series, and fans can visit themed locations, local displays, and small museums tied to the saga. It also offers access to fishing, river rafting, and other outdoor activities in a relatively uncrowded setting.
With favorites like Forks Chamber Of Commerce, Blakeslees Bar and Grill, and Tree of Life, we’ll make sure you don’t miss out on all the must sees. We even included some of our favorite food spots around the area, like Rinconcito Del Sabor and Blakeslees Bar and Grill so you can get the best taste of Forks while you’re here. To see our full list of food recommendations, check out our best restaurants post. If you're traveling on a budget, you can check out our cheap eats post.

Discover the unique and awe-inspiring Tree of Life on the Washington Coast. This remarkable spruce tree defies nature by clinging to a precarious position with its roots exposed and dangling over a cave between two cliff edges. It's essential to admire this fragile slice of nature without causing any harm. The area also offers access to other beaches, such as Beaches 1, 2, 3, and 4 off Highway 101.
The tree is slowly falling to the sand due to erosion of the cliffs. The rock formations and tide pools are fun to explore. We didn’t camp, but the bathrooms at the camp ground were not maintained. Be prepared for typical WA weather and bring layers and if camping, just assume all will be wet in the am. It’s absolutely beautiful here.
Maleia S — Google review
There are like 3-5 parking lots to access to the tree of life. There's one that you have to walk about 3 minutes. Easy to get there. It's incredible how the tree can hold itself with just a few roots to the ground. There are so much wood around that you could do a cabin.
Angel C — Google review
So beautiful, but the government closure meant no bathrooms! And damaged stairs. But that didn't stop us from getting down to the beach, and seeing the sights. It was a great spot for a picnic too!

Tree of Life – Washington Coast 🌳 I set out on a motorcycle trip from Vancouver, BC, to visit this magical place I had been dreaming about for years the Tree of Life. This wasn’t just another stop on a journey; for me, it was a deeply personal pilgrimage. Traveling south along the Washington coast, just after passing Ruby Beach, you’ll find access to the Tree of Life within a small campground. Due to recent natural conditions, the wooden stairs to the beach have collapsed, so reaching it now requires extra caution. The tree itself has fallen forward from the cliffs, its roots fully exposed, yet miraculously it is still green and breathing. Nearby, you’ll find a pen and stones where visitors leave their messages of love for the tree and for all who come here. As an Iranian who has been living far from my homeland, these past years, especially after the women life freedom revolution, have been heavy with grief and longing. It has been hard to pretend life is “normal” while watching my people’s struggle for freedom from afar. I carry the aftershocks of those events every day, every hour. When I finally stood before the Tree of Life, I saw more than a fallen tree 🕊️ I saw a survivor. Its weary, exposed roots reminded me of my own wounds, yet its vibrant crown reaching toward the sky reminded me that I am still here, still yearning to live. This visit was more than a travel destination, it was a lesson. The tree taught me, once again, that even in the harshest conditions, beauty and resilience can thrive. I wished, for the thousandth time, that I could be like that tree 🌱 strong, steady, and able to give comfort to those who are tired and hopeless. To all the beautiful American people who have welcomed me so warmly every time I visit your incredible country: thank you. You have made every journey here not just memorable, but deeply healing.
Nasim Y — Google review
Bucket list!!! If ever drawn to witness this gem, DO IT! Worth every moment of almost 4 hour trek. Parking lot is close to wooden ramp but as of Sept. 15, 2025, the local guide did not let us go down the ramp. Once I saw it from below I understood. Instead it's about a 5 minute walk thru campsites and further down the beach to access the Pacific Ocean. Then a stunning walk up the beach to the Tree of Life. Find your reason or no reason at all but encounter this phenomenon of nature, gently sitting closer to the sand with each passing day. Couldn't help but send a message to the Sea! Climbed up the broken wooden stair case to return to the parking lot. An 85 yr old friend was able to lift herself up it, so despite a compromised spine, I took the challenge. If you do get up the broken wooden staircase, it's mere steps to your vehicle. Great spiritual journey.

The Tree of Life at Kalaloch Beach is a must-see quick stop if you’re in the area! Park at the day-use area of Kalaloch Campground — it’s just a 3-minute walk to the beach. If the main ladder down is closed (it happens after washouts), you can take a 10-minute detour through Campground Loop A to reach it safely. I’m an elopement photographer and have photographed here countless times over the past 5 years — every visit I hope it’s not the last year for this amazing tree (it’s slowly sinking into the sand). It’s still somehow standing, roots hanging over the sand. If you’re staying overnight, Kalaloch Campground or Kalaloch Lodge are right nearby, and the lodge has a great restaurant (dining options in this area are limited). Such an iconic and unforgettable spot in Olympic National Park!
Valerie P — Google review
To be honest, Instagram brought me here! Also, my wife has a tattoo of the Tree of Life, so this was a surprise to her so that she could see the beautiful and resilient tree in real life. The main trail down to the tree was closed so we had to go to an alternate trail down in the campground. If that is the case when you visit, you can park close to that trail as well if you choose. It was a short hike and then down to the beach for a nice stroll until you get there. Erosion has caused exposure to most of this beauty's roots but they was the tree has "held on" and clings to life via the cliff is inspiring and a lesson in never giving up. Take the time while in ONP or the area to see her, she want be here forever!!!
Leah B — Google review
the tree was pretty interesting and it was nice to see it while it's still around. it was pretty easy to access you just head to the right of the beach when coming down the stairs. the main staircase was closed due to weather damage but there was an alternative past the amphitheatre. they did have a ranger with a projector sharing information about the area and culture in the amphitheatre. i was able to find many large agates here which i did not expect!

Parks
Bogachiel State Park, situated 5 miles south of Forks, is a picturesque riverside campground nestled at the edge of the Hoh Rain Forest. The park spans 127 acres and offers lush, high-rainforest terrain for hikers, campers, and bird-watchers to explore. Additionally, visitors can enjoy nearby attractions such as Rialto Beach with its pelican sightings, Ruby Beach's unique stacking stones, First Beach near La Push town, and Second Beach.
Great state park location, conveniently near Forks grocery store and easy to get on 101 to go to the National Park. Site 32 is very large and can easily hold a bigger tent (gazelle T4 plus pictured here)

Beautiful park and campground ⛺️ We stayed one night and wished we could have stayed longer! Definitely recommend. The camp host was very friendly and helpful! Highly recommended! Showers and bathroom area was clean and tidy too!
Beatrice C — Google review
This state park is a wonderful spot to camp if you're planning on exploring the surrounding areas. It's a great jumping off point for many Olympic National Parks adventures. We tent camped in the lower loop in the East Side of the park. These spots were deeper in the ravine than the main loop. We were hoping that we'd have more of a buffer from HWY 101 but it was still fairly loud. If you're sensitive to late night road sounds, this isn't the campground for you. The park had a wonderful series of nature trails that led to river access points. It was wonderful having a place to soak our feet after long days of hiking. Facilities were clean and well stocked. Drinking water was easily accessible. The campsite was spacious and fit our six person tent. Each campsite had a picnic table and fire ring. The places we visited outside the park were Cape Flattery, Makah Cultural & Research Center Museum, Hoh Rainforest, and Rialto Beach.
Erin M — Google review
It cost me $87 to camp here for two nights. $37 per night for a rustic tent site with no electric outlet or running water, plus a $5 fee for being a non-resident, plus an $8 fee for making my reservation online. $87 in total. That comes out to $43.50 per nigh for a basic tent site! That’s an absolute ripoff, especially since they even had the showers closed off to “conserve water.” $87 to tent camp with no showers?!?! If you’re not going to let me fully use the amenities, how are you gonna charge me full price?! Also, this campsite is waaaaay too close to the highway. Our campsite was probably only 15 yards from the highway! We were in campsite 13, which was the only campsite available when we booked, and we had a hard time sleeping because you could hear loud semi-trucks and all sorts of other vehicles barreling down the road all night long. I would not recommend this campsite to anyone, especially not for the prices they’re charging. The location and the amenities(or lack thereof) are absolutely not worth $43.50 per night for a tent camping experience.
Taylor N — Google review
Loved it. They take good care of it. All facilities were clean and convenient.
C P — Google review
The area is beautiful. We saw otters playing in the river. Our site was smaller than we expected and we were barely able to fit our tent. Fires were not allowed and due to issues with their well the showers and water spigots were closed (only your bathrooms has water). Highway noise was a bit loud.
Cameron R — Google review
Clean, well-organized, beautiful campground. Very friendly host (shift of June16-17,2023), restrooms are clean and no odor. Free showers, shower rooms are extremely comfortable, roomy and with real hot water. Discover Pass required.

Whole campground is pretty close to the highway, and spaces are nice but a little tight. Their well ran dry… so the water wasn’t clear.

Nestled in a cozy cabin setting, the Forks Timber Museum is a treasure trove of local logging and farming history. Established in 1984, this museum celebrates Forks' legacy as the self-proclaimed Logging Capital of the World from the 1950s to the 1970s. It not only preserves vital information about logging but also highlights the pioneer spirit of early homesteaders who ventured into the rugged Olympic Peninsula wilderness.
We stopped by when looking at Twilight sites. They had a cute Twilight scavenger hunt where you got a certificate if you completed it. We had a great time exploring the museum. While it is small, I learned quite a bit of the history. The people there were very kind. Definitely stop by if you're in town.

We hiked the short trail behind the center and went in the visitor center where the young girls working were very helpful and friendly to everyone. We also got many useful brochures and explored the gardens and exhibit out front The actual museum looked interesting, but we did not pay to go in. There is a small lookout tower you can go in but only from the museum. Having been to the Tillamook Forestry Museum with a TALL lookout tower, we decided we have seen similar before.

Forks Timber Museum is a delightful blend of education and charm, tucked into the heart of Washington’s logging country. Housed in a snug cabin setting, it offers engaging exhibits on the region’s rich timber and pioneer history, from vintage logging tools to a towering fire lookout and even a 9-foot cook stove from an old logging camp. It’s unpretentious and fun. We had a great time!
Sylvain P — Google review
It was my first time at Forks timber museum. It’s an amazing place with lots of history - I learned a lot about the timber industry. This reminded me of some of the exhibits I have seen in Vancouver a few years ago. The Forks timber museum has two floors with exhibits. They also had a twilight related quiz where I had to identify a couple of things in the museum that are related to twilight. It was such a fun trivia quiz! We can take a sheet of the quiz and a pencil with us while we explore the museum and note down the answers and return it at the front desk after completing the quiz. It took me about 2.5 hours to explore all the exhibits in the museum. On the second floor, there’s some open area too from where you get a 360 degree view of Forks and beyond. The museum was not very crowded when I visited. I bought the ticket at the front information desk. The person at the front information desk was very helpful. He gave me guidance on how to get to the bus stand to catch the bus back yo port Angeles. He was very kind and helpful, and I really appreciated it. The ticket to enter the museum cost me $5. The museum has a restroom which was clean and well maintained and has a drinking water facility.

Great little museum showing the history that logging has in Forks. The 5 dollar entry fee was reasonable and military get in for free!

Not much to it. If you are a Twilight fan, it’s worth stopping by to see Bella’s truck and taking a photo at the Welcome to Forks sign.
Tam H — Google review
Great little museum with local and regional history and numerous original artifacts. An original indigenous canoe, stopped mid-carving in the 1800's, is preserved showing how the local tribes crafted their iconic vessels. A cookhouse stove with the mock-up of what a logger's meal would be like and the mammoth task it was supporting logging camp. A fire watch tower with original finishings. Outside is a short rainforest loop trail, perfect for families.

A nice stop. Lots of old timber equipment and some nice stories to go with them. The fire lookout tower was the best part.

The Forks Chamber of Commerce Visitors Center is a must-visit for Twilight fans, as it fully embraces the Twilight theme with an array of souvenirs and themed resources. Inside, visitors can find a store dedicated to Twilight accessories, offering meticulously crafted items like Bella's engagement ring and Edward's wrist cuff. The center also provides maps, tour recommendations, and restaurant lists for visitors to explore the town. Additionally, outside the center is Bella's iconic truck, perfect for photo opportunities.
I had a great experience! This was our first stop and the sweet lady working was super helpful and it was fun chatting with her. We signed up for a private tour at Forever Twilight and also were given a map and a bunch of info on the town. The city of Forks is small but it was so fun to visit.

This has to be your first stop when you arrive in Forks! ❤️ They are so helpful and friendly. They provided us with a map to visit all the Twilight places. The map was excellent, we just followed it exactly. We were able to take pictures of everything. Just as they ask, please remember all these places are private and show respect. We ate at Sully's drive in restaurant. It has a Bella burger basket. We saw this place in the restaurant guide we were given. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.
Laurie S — Google review
This place has a lot to check out starting from the visitor center to the logger memorial to Bella’s trucks to the Forks Timber Museum to the welcome sign that says “The City of Forks Welcomes You”. So there are two “The city of forks welcomes you” signs. One is here and the other is as you enter Forks from Port Angeles. That sign is a little harder to get by but this sign is much easier in terms of accessibility and getting some photos. This reminded me of the twilight movie, and luckily the day I went there, it was cloudy and raining, and that most certainly set the scene. This place was not super crowded but there were a bunch of people around checking out the museum and visit center and Bella’s trucks. A little walk away is the population of forks board to check out! This place is free to visit - no tickets or reservations required. However, you might see a line of people waiting to click some photos, so that might add to your wait time. There are two trucks: a red one and an orange one. Both are Bella’s trucks, one is from the movies and the other is from the novels that Stephanie Meyer wrote. This place has a lot of people checking out the trucks and getting photos with them. It’s the perfect place if you love twilight book and/or movies! This place is free to visit and no reservation or tickets are needed but just a heads up - you might find a lot of people in line to click some photos, so add that to your wait time. The forks welcome sign is also nearby and the timber museum is right next to the trucks. Amazing things to check out as well! The Loggers Memorial was right across the Forks chamber of commerce visitor center, Bella’s trucks, the Forks Timber Museum, and the welcome sign. The Forks Loggers Memorial remembers people who lost their lives working in one of the most dangerous professions - the timber industry. Spending time here followed by a visit to the Forks Timber Museum gives a lot of perspective about the Timber industry, the dangers of working there, its history, and the lives of people working there. My visit here felt very meaningful and I am glad to have had the chance to spend time at the loggers memorial and reflect. This place is free to visit - no tickets or reservations needed. The visitor center has information about what to do in Forks - places to visit, twilight themed places etc. The staff there were very kind and helpful and gave me some maps and also some tips about how to get to Hoh rainforest (the best time is before 7 AM or after 4 PM to avoid traffic and crowds).
Vyshnavi V — Google review
Wonderful place to explore for any Twilight fan! They had the welcome sign, Bella's truck, standees for photo ops and some cool merch. The sweet lady at the front desk really helped us find other Twilight locations in town and gave us some really helpful maps. Don't miss it!
Casey M — Google review
If you're in Forks for a "twilight pilgrimage" like we were, stopping at the Chamber of Commerce at the start of your trip is a must. You can find maps, lists of places to eat, fun twilight merch, trail maps, and more at the CoC. The "welcome to forks" sign is also here, and a must for a photo op. I would also recommend taking the fun little nature trail for a spin. It's so pretty, and a great place for pics! (A little muddy tho. But hey, it's forks. Rain happens. Nothing we couldn't handle with closed toed shoes. Just be careful with white shoes, flip flops, or little kid)
Kylie P — Google review
The girls working here were SO welcoming and friendly and super helpful when we asked about good places to hike or sights to see in the area, not just on Forks. They were very knowledgeable, and I loved all the Twilight stuff. It's also just a great place to stop if you need a break. There is a picnic area, some cool artifacts to look at, and an easy 0.4 mile loop hike through an old growth forest.
Barbara O — Google review
Forks can be a fun visit on your way to the La Push, especially if you're hoping to catch the Cullens in action. There's a Treaty Line billboard on the way to First Beach, and the Chamber of Commerce has two trucks that are the types Bella drove in the book, and in the movies. There's also a store in town that has a selection of Twilight stuff, in addition to native items and the typical tourist stuff. However, if you're expecting it to look like the Forks protected by Chief Swan, you might be a little disappointed. Have fun though!

Sasquatch The Legend store in Forks, Washington is a must-visit for believers, fans, and seekers of the legendary creature. It offers an impressive collection of Sasquatch-themed items including sweatshirts, lunch boxes, waterproof bags, and fun shirts. Visitors can also enjoy delicious treats from the bakery cabinet and fresh cookies while browsing through cleverly designed souvenirs and signs.
For any Bigfoot/Sasquatch fanatic out there- this is your place. I could have spent a good hour in this store sifting through all of the cool merchandise. They also have an excellent book collection. The owner also makes some of his own really cool graphics (stickers, mugs, etc) that are native designs!

The male cashier was disrespectful did not seem friendly towards guest, my friend found an item laying around the store and he stated "you dont find anything in my store" and gave it to the cashier and after she said she would not purchase the item he told her to put it away herself after not knowing where the item originally came from and seemed very irritated. My other friend had bought a shot glass and asked him if they had a bag or anything to protect the shot glass so its not very tourst friendly. Before we shopped at Forever Twilight and they had better packaging and better customer service overall definitely recommend the other store a couple feet down if you want to buy a cute souvenir!

I don’t get why it has so many poor ratings. It is a good Mexican, service is a bit slow but still okay. One of your best options to eat in Forks. We went there twice.

The service was lovely and tried everything to accomodate to my boyfriends gluten allergy. The food was good, his was gluten free and came fast.

Service was excellent. There was one waitress and she was very kind, warm, and welcoming. The restaurant itself was cute. We went in with low expectations as Forks is a very small town. We all got fajitas and they were decent. We were not expecting the best mexican food of our lives, we just wanted to eat after a long day in the NP and visiting different beaches. So with all that being said, dont go in expecting to get the best meal of your life, go in, fill your belly and be merry!
Lydia W — Google review
Not many places to eat in Forks so you’re limited. Arrived on a Monday night and my wife and I were seated immediately. It began with a rough start because I hate paying for chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant, but no big deal I guess. Ordered the steak fajitas, and it was more bland than a rice cake. There were 3 pieces of steak and a whole bushel of bell peppers sliced on the plate, they must have known my cholesterol is high. The waitress seemed to be a wonderful person and was friendly and helpful all the way through. I’d stop again if I was hungry, but wouldn’t necessarily go out of my way to make it there.
Cam W — Google review
There were more flies than people in the restaurant. They charged for a refill on the chips and salsa (thought that was a universal complimentary dish when it came to Mexican restaurants) and failed to mention it would be an extra charge. Staff were friendly, but I ended up paying $40+ for me and my partner to eat some mid ass food. Would probably skip out on this place until the owners decide to start caring.
Jack M — Google review
This was a welcome stop for lunch during a long drive from Oregon. We had Birria tacos and Sope which were both super tasty. Service was friendly and prompt. The salsa that comes with the tortilla chips was delicious. This place is a gem!
Robin K — Google review
Prices are a bit ridiculous. $4 for a drink and they charge for refills. Chips and salsa were good. My wife thought they needed salt but I thought they were fine like they were. Overall, the flavors were pretty good and the entree sizes were pretty huge. As far as atmosphere, there was a little bit of music playing, but the restaurant itself looks pretty drab.
Aaron N — Google review
I learned something this evening, i mean, i know there is bad mexican food out there, but this place really awakened the senses. From the bland salsa with just the proper dash of metalic taste to the gigantic burrito with boiled shredded chick and old refried beans. Can a brother at least get some onion? Perhaps there is currently an embargo on seasoning. How CAN you get chicken that is both so dry, but yet soo absolutely devoid of flavor. Honestly, it might be turkey. At least the waiter was awkward.

Blakeslees Bar and Grill is a casual spot in Forks, WA that offers a laid-back atmosphere with pub grub, pool tables, and entertainment like karaoke. It's known for serving some of the best food in the area, including typical pub fare such as small dishes like sips, mozzarella sticks, loaded nachos, sandwiches, and fried foods. Visitors have praised the delicious bacon cheeseburger and turkey Reuben. The service is fast and friendly with plenty of parking available.
Was just in town for a couple of days to serve as an HQ for hikes in Olympic. Stumbled upon Blakeslees while trying to find a good spot for a burger and a beer. This is the spot to go to in town. We came back several times throughout the week. Y’all, the fries. They’re like curly steak fries. Big, crispy, but almost like mashed potatoes inside. So good. Also got their special burger and a chicken sandwich on different days. All delicious. Recommend dipping the fries in some of their wing sauces! Staff was super friendly and the place is big. Great beer selection. Worth the wait if there is one!

One small letdown was the cocktails—they’re all shaken by default, even when the drink would typically call for a different method, which does affect the flavor. That said, if you politely ask, the bartenders are more than happy to make them properly. It’s a nice sign that they care and are open to feedback. Overall, a great place to grab a bite, relax, and enjoy a casual night out.

It was my first time visiting Olympic National Park, and finding a restaurant in the area was a bit challenging. Blakeslee’s Bar and Grill turned out to be the right place to eat. For lunch, we ordered clam chowder soup and it was delicious. The garlic Parmesan wings were juicy and amazing, the burger was on point, and my family said the Reuben they ordered was absolutely delicious. Even the fries were really good. Everything we had for lunch tasted great. The wait was quite long, but it was worth it because the food was excellent. We stopped by again the next day for dinner on our way back to Amanda Park. The soup of the day was also good, and I ordered chicken wings again because they were just amazingly delicious. It was a bit loud during dinner, which is understandable since it’s also a bar. The bathroom was clean, and they require an ID before seating. It can get loud so it might be a little difficult to hear conversations, but overall it’s a great spot for good food after exploring the park.

Had dinner here recently in early May. Food was good - the chowder was very tasty, the wings with hot sauce was just nice, the steak medium doneness was perfect, elk burger was a nice experience, the chips and fries were good too.

Blakeslee’s Bar & Grill was right next to our Airbnb, so we decided to give it a try. We ordered the “jumbo” wings with BBQ and mango habanero sauce, the “famous” Mill Burger, and the classic salad with a breaded chicken breast. The wings were definitely the highlight of the meal, and the salad was solid. The burger, however, was just okay. The service left a lot to be desired. We sat for about 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us to take drink orders, and then waited another 30 minutes to be told they had run out of chicken breast and could only offer breaded chicken instead. Overall, decent wings but the slow service and underwhelming entrées kept this from being a better experience.

Good place to grab a burger and fries. Was a short wait when I walked in. Seems slightly unorganized when seating people but they get the job done. Must show ID and be 21 after 3pm, no exceptions. They were super busy when I was here and service showed. Everyone was overwhelmed but still friendly. Plan on waiting extra time if they are busy. I had the deep fried mushrooms to start with. They were your normal deep fried mushrooms with ranch. Piping hot and tasty. The elk burger was cooked perfectly and had good flavor. The fries were curly steak fries. Also really tasty. Had a beer with my meal as well that was good. The silver city ipa. Overall great place for food while you’re in town.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Blakeslee’s Bar & Grill – Great Food, Great Vibes! BBG (Blakeslee’s Bar & Grill) was the perfect spot for a laid-back evening during our trip. We were a group of six, and every single one of us left impressed! The food was fantastic — flavorful, hearty, and exactly what you’d hope for from a top-notch grill. From burgers to wings and everything in between, every bite was satisfying. The service was friendly and quick, and the overall atmosphere was casual, upbeat, and welcoming. Whether you’re just stopping by for a drink or sitting down for a full meal, BBG delivers a great experience all around. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area — it’s a local gem!

The service was bad... it was a sunday when we came in and the closest restaurant we got. Upon arriving, we had to wait for a couple of minutes to be seated since the restaurant at that time was a bit full and only 2 servers available. They asked for ID which was weird since we were only there to have a late lunch after our hike. We were seated beside 2 older customers who warned us "if you guys are hungry and in a hurry... this is not a good place to eat".. we started chatting with them and we found out that they have been waiting more than an hour for their food.. and so as the other 5 tables before us.. but we decided to stay.. we waited.. and waited.. and waited... and the server keeps on updating us "your food is about to come out of the kitchen". After 1 hr and 10 mins.... Alas... food is served.... the burgers are okay... i love the fries and the clam chowder was savory... 5 mins after serving the food, the server gave us our bill (weird)... she made a mistake on the charges so we asked to fix and print it again.. came back with another confusing bill print out... anyways, the experience i would say was not good, we were tired and hungry and the whole waiting game was disappointing... I don't know if others have the same experience with this restaurant.... I just wanted to share mine and maybe they can do better next time...

Nestled within the main building of Kalaloch Lodge, Creekside Restaurant offers a cozy and rustic lodge-style setting with an expansive menu of American dishes and drinks. The restaurant boasts an excellent view of the beach and water below, creating a tranquil dining experience. Guests can savor Pacific Northwest dinner specialties such as grilled salmon, fresh shellfish, and elk burgers while enjoying ocean views.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | Stunning Views, Amazing Food & Service Creekside Restaurant at Kalaloch Lodge is a true coastal gem. The oceanside location is absolutely breathtaking — dining with sweeping views of the Pacific is an unforgettable experience. The service was just as impressive as the view. The staff was warm, friendly, and attentive, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. And the food? Delicious! The elk burger was flavorful and cooked to perfection, the chicken entrée was tender and beautifully seasoned, and the Caesar salad with grilled chicken was fresh, crisp, and satisfying. Every dish was a hit. Whether you're staying at the lodge or just driving the coast, this spot is a must-stop for a memorable meal with unbeatable views.

The foods are ok. Burger was overcooked from medium that we ordered. Not impressed on the taste. Great view and friendly service. We came in on the busy Saturday dinner. The waiting time is about 30 minutes, 40-50 minutes to wait for foods. If possible idk if you can reserve the spot earlier. If very hungry, you may order the soup. It seems premade so you will get it faster than the main course foods.

Creekside offers a charming setting, fabulous views of the ocean, and delicious food! My husband enjoyed the salmon, I enjoyed the elk burger, my kids relished the crab mac and cheese. The service was great, too. We highly recommend it.

Delicious food! A little pricey, but they know they are pretty much the only option for food in the area. The salmon with mashed potatoes and veggies was excellent! My husband’s crab mac n cheese was also delicious though there wasn’t much meat on it. He wasn’t a fan of the cheese sauce but I thought it was wonderful! The side Caesar salad was really good! Great service from Juanita!

We’re staying at Kalaloch Campground and after a few days of camp food, we decided to treat ourselves to a real meal tonight—and wow, am I glad we did! The menu is small, but everything looked delicious. Yes, it’s a little pricey, but that’s to be expected with location, location, location—and what a location it is! We didn’t have a reservation, so we couldn’t sit on the deck, but honestly it didn’t matter. The view from inside was just as gorgeous. 😍 My dining companion and I both ordered the pan-roasted chicken, and it was perfection—cooked beautifully and full of flavor. For dessert, I went with a snickerdoodle cookie topped with ice cream. The cookie was warm and tasty, but unfortunately the ice cream had an off flavor (almost spoiled), so I’d skip that part. Overall, this was a fantastic dining experience. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping here. If it were in town, I’d be eating here all the time!

Really anticipated a bit more of a WOW factor for such a beautiful location. Although not busy, we waited 3 or 4 minutes to be seated. Our waitress may have been new. She was very quiet. Pleasant. Only 3 choices of tables to take advantage of the beautiful view. Felt a bit lack lusture. Fish and chips were cooked perfectly although slightly greasy when you picked up a piece to eat. The breading tasty; very thick. Salty fries and coleslaw rounded out the meal.

This trip was a dramatic improvement over 2 years and 7 years in the past. Breakfast and dinner two days were both spectacular. Food was cooked to perfection and delicious. Wait staff were attentive and friendly. Very limited menu, but we enjoyed the same dish twice. No breakfast buffet right now. Decent wine selection. Mixed drinks were excellent. The steak and salmon Oscar were the absolute stars. Thank you for multiple amazing meals!

My husband and I stayed at the one of the cabins attached to here and ate here three nights in a row and got breakfast and it was amazing every single time. I recommend the chicken entree for dinner it was the best thing I had the entire time and that includes the filet mignon, Which was also good. It’s right on the beach so you have awesome views also. The staff was friendly and fast.
