Planetarium
Museums
The National Space Centre, located in Leicester, UK, is a top attraction offering themed galleries showcasing rockets, satellites, and interactive exhibitions about space travel. It boasts over 150 interactive experiences and the largest planetarium in the UK. Visitors can explore life-size space rocket models and enjoy engaging planetarium shows. The center provides an educational and entertaining experience for both kids and adults with its extensive displays of astronomical events and vehicles from the World Space Travel Program.
Great space exploration experience for younger and older kids. There are plenty of educational hands-on exhibits and games. Join the exciting space travel to Mars with missions to complete and the show in the biggest planetarium in the UK (one chosen show is included in the ticket). It's accessible, with lifts, accessible toilets, and changing spaces for kids and adults. The Rocket Cafe is really good with a simple menu, but you can bring your own picnic. Tickets are quite expensive, but you gain a whole year access, so this could be an ideal solution for families, with the option to choose different planetarium shows on each visit. Reserve a minimum 3-4 hours to spend there.

Came here to watch Pink Floyd Dark side of the Moon in the planetarium. The show was one of the best I've ever seen. Amazing atmosphere in the planetarium. The visuals and sounds were perfect. We also had a good look around the space centre itself. Properly cool place with absolutely loads for kids and adults to do and see. Very educational and we will be bringing our kids to have a look. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and will definitely do it again

The NSC is an amazingly well curated museum with interactive elements and immersive shows in the Patrick Moore Planetarium inside, shows last 25mins. They even have a real rocket! and you can take a lift to see it from above. It's well suited to kids and adults (we never grow up really) and you can touch space objects and interact with some scientific tools and even play some games to test your astronaut potential! I spent 2ish hours there and there's still more that I didn't get a chance to experience. Tickets were £20 & that gets you an annual pass. The cafe they have is great too, they do hot food and good coffee and even an awesome giftshop! You gotta go :]

The National Space Centre is a fascinating place for both children and adults. It’s especially engaging for Generation Y and millennials, showcasing the Cold War era, the development of technology, and the first steps in space exploration in an immersive way. You can step inside a Mercury capsule, see how astronauts eat and live, and even sit in a period-style room to feel the thrill of watching a rocket launch to the Moon on a vintage glass screen. The planetarium, presented as an animated journey, is truly impressive – even for adults. It’s a wonderful centre for both learning and fun, and the best part is that with just one ticket you can return all year round. Highly recommended! 🚀✨

Where do I start. The place was amazing. The staff and the exhibits were exceptional. So much great information to digest and lots of things for little ones and bigger little ones to do. There were a lot of people in, but it never felt packed. The cinema show was brilliant and way more immersing than we thought it would be. The gift shop had a great collection of toys as well as interesting gifts specific to the Space center. A great day out and it would've recieved 5 stars if it wasn't for the poor cafe that was let down by a lack of choice and the cleaning of the eating/utensil areas which was really poor. The staff serving were great super friendly on all departments but the eating areas were disappointing. Still won't stop another visit to this wondrous place.

Located north of Leicester city centre, the National Space Centre is an amazing day out for kids and adults of all ages. Filled with interactive and educational activities, award winning shows on immersive 360 degree screen, and lots more to see and do. Super helpful and attentive staff, great gift shop, lots of space to sit. Buy ticket online for free annual pass upgrade without hassle. Kids could spend the whole day in here to learn and play. Bring your own lunch to avoid weekend and peak time queues.

This visit has been a long time coming, after trudging the M1 for three decades and seeing the brown sign for the National Space Centre I finally found time to visit, and it was no disappointment in the slightest. Many facts and exhibits tie into loads of classic films, articles and milestones from over the years and lots for the kids to learn about along the way. A great day out and at the moment (summer 2025) the artists elephants are all around Leicester. The planetarium is incredible! Please go and enjoy one of the midlands great attractions that you might have missed.

I been there for first time, lovely place with many different views. I can see there is a plenty space for car parking. Amazing location with foods, and gifts. I was so happy and excited to be there and to be part of this. I will share few videos and photos from this amazing place. Highly recommend.

Visitor center
Event venue
The King Richard III Visitor Centre, located in the city centre of Leicester, is a modern museum that offers interactive exhibits on the life, death, and grave discovery of King Richard III. The center uses modern technology to explore different aspects of his reign and the archaeological project that led to the discovery of his bones. It's a great place for history enthusiasts to delve into the controversial reign of Richard III and form their own opinions about his legacy.
The museum was very interesting to visit. Children engaged in some quests and looked for the clues everywhere in the different rooms, even in the cafe and the garden. They love this period as they studied it at school. They enjoyed speaking with the guide there about the Richard III, his character, was he a good or evil king?, the mystery of the two nephews in the tower, the story that led to his burial place... The most interesting thing is that the tickets are valid for one year. So if you cannot finish the visit or want to come again you can do so as many times as you like! Keep your tickets safe or the proof of payment confirmation email if you booked online.

A very well thought through visitor centre , with very helpful, staff. Some of the exhibits are amazing, especially the 'interactive exhibits". It explained the 'science of the DNA testing' as well as the archaeology part. The history and circumstances of Richard III that led to him being at Bosworth Field, and the very sad outcome. The shop & cafe are excellent, and the outside courtyard- with beautifully planted flowers and trees are all excellent; with plenty of seating under shading trees. Altogether, the layout of the experience was very good, well thought out. The fact it had air con, all around the tour was also excellent. The tour is on two levels ground floor , and upper floor - which can be reached by a lift , so no problem for wheel chair users. It was a very moving moment to see where they actually found him in the car park; it has been preserved, for posterity, exactly where they found him, this is outside in a very beautiful 'sanctum' covered over with toughened glass. The visitor shop is also excellent, with many interesting gifts and books, on medieval topics, including the Yorks & Tudors.. The entrance "doubles" also as the exit. I am so glad I came, to see this exhibit - finally..!!

A really awesome and well executed piece of history. The museum is amazing and the display which shows the location of Richard’s burial is incredible. There was an amazing volunteer named Julie who explained the full story behind the discovery of Richard. The centre has done an excellent job. It is a must visit for any historian.

This is a fairly new exhibition with good information. It’s not extensive but there’s lots of information upstairs about the discovery of Richard III body. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Very informative and enjoyable visit. Staff were knowledgeable and provided a real insight into the burial of Richard lll and how they found him. We also then walked across the road to visit the cathedral to see his new resting place which complemented the visit to the visitor centre. Had lunch in the cafe which was great. Highly recommend a visit to both.

Loved visiting here. Very well put together and great displays to tell the story of Richard and the project to find him. Special thanks to Jan for her wonderful talk at the grave location about the dig and about the two Princes. A fantastic addition to Leicester
Andrew K — Google review
The staff are friendly and helpful the story is interesting but I was kind of left with the feeling that some of the exhibitions were almost unnecessary and making a lot out of nothing really such as a pair of wellies worn but the lady who helped find King Richards grave and even a mask and coverall used to prevent DNA passing from the person who removed the bones to the skeleton of Richard ...hardly anything of note regards historical artifacts asides part of the greyfriars abbey walls and floor tiles under a glass floor ! Whilst informative in places not the best museum I've visited .
Benjamin H — Google review
Brilliant, but not for kids. There is more to read than to see. However, it is certainly not boring for someone interested in history or for a person who is curious and keen to discover new things. And once done, you are right by the cathedral and the pedestrian streets full of interesting shops, restaurants, and major brands outlets.

Cathedral
Sights & Landmarks
Leicester Cathedral is a medieval building adorned with intricate sculptures and a Georgian spire. It offers regular tours and choral services, making it a popular destination for tourists. The cathedral gained fame after the discovery of Richard III's remains in 2012, which were finally put to rest there in 2015. Visitors often take photos near the statue of Richard III as a memento. Additionally, the nearby Richard III Visitor Centre showcases the area where his remains were found and tells his story.
Leicester Cathedral is a truly special landmark, rich in history and spiritual significance. Located in the heart of the city, the cathedral dates back over 900 years. Its most renowned feature is the tomb of King Richard III, whose remains were discovered nearby in 2012 and reinterred here in 2015 after a state ceremony. The building itself showcases stunning Gothic Revival architecture, and recent renovations have made the space more accessible while preserving its sacred atmosphere. The calm interior, impressive stained-glass windows, offer a peaceful and enriching experience. Friendly volunteers are always available to answer questions, and the tranquil cathedral gardens provide a lovely space to sit and reflect, Leicester Cathedral is a must-visit destination in the city.
MUSTAFA F — Google review
Leicester Cathedral is not large, but is very well kept. The tomb of English King Richard 3rd is superbly done with two stones which both relate to his life. The newly-added visitor room is styled to complement the main cathedral. Guides on-site were friendly and informative.

Went to see a model of Mars which was brill also king Richard third was there. An unusual cathedral as it did not have an isle with seating either side leading to an altar. Entry was a donation of £5 if you wanted to.
Norman B — Google review
I really enjoyed my visit to Leicester Cathedral. It wasn't built as a cathedral, and it is moderately small - it was elevated in 1927 when the diocese of Leicester was recreated. For me, the highlight wasn't the tomb of King Richard III, but the stained glass window by Christopher Whall which overlooks it. I was also pleased to see two windows by Thomas Denny commemorating the life and death of Richard III. The staff were all friendly, helpful & informative. There was a small shop near the entrance/exit where I bought some nice postcards.
Wendy E — Google review
The final resting place of England’s greatest king. It was a very special moment visiting Richard’s final resting place. The Cathedral is beautiful, with many colours on the ceiling. It is free unlike many other cathedrals around the country.
Dane — Google review
Visited the Cathedral and King Richards tomb today. Had a fantastic experience which was made even better thanks to the volunteer guide Pam Willis who was very knowledgeable with regards the story of Richard the 3rds discovery and his reburial in Leicester Cathedral. Visited the cafe 7 which was reasonably priced and on a bitterly cold day was a warm sanctuary providing a quality coffee and cake . Would recommend a visit for anyone interested in the history of the War of the roses and it's all free asides a small voluntary donation.

Nature & Parks
Bradgate Park is a renowned beauty spot in Leicestershire, spanning 830 acres and offering a variety of attractions. Visitors can explore footpaths, encounter peacocks and fallow deer, and enjoy the playground and stream. The park also boasts the ruins of Lady Jane Grey's childhood home. It is home to over 550 Red and Fallow deer that freely roam the area.
Lovely park, stunning backdrop with plenty of dears, you feel like you could be in the Scottish Highlands at times. Picturesque place which is great for walking, whether it's a ramble up to Old John Tower, a rummage in the woods, or a dip in the stream. Highly recommend for dog walkers and families to get out into the fresh air!!
Daniel P — Google review
Bradgate Park is truly a gem, an incredible place to unwind, take a long walk, and just breathe. It's the kind of spot where nature does all the talking. The landscape is vast and beautiful, with open spaces, ancient trees, and a peaceful atmosphere that helps you disconnect from everyday life. It used to be quieter, and while it's more popular now and can get busy, there are still those rare, quieter days when you can enjoy the serenity and really take it all in. If you're lucky enough to visit on one of those days, the peacefulness is something special. Perfect for a picnic, a long stroll, or even just some time to sit and think. Just a tip bring everything you might need, because you might find yourself staying longer than planned. It’s that kind of place.

Bradgate Park itself is beautiful – really enjoyed walking around and especially loved seeing the deer roaming freely, which made the visit feel quite special. The scenery is lovely and it’s a great place to spend time outdoors. That said, the parking felt quite extortionate, which does take away from the experience a bit, and the men’s toilets could definitely be improved in terms of cleanliness. Overall, worth visiting for the park and wildlife, but a couple of practical things could be better managed.
Sam R — Google review
Bradgate Road leads to the stunning Bradgate Park, a truly beautiful and expansive place that’s perfect for anyone who loves the outdoors. The park is filled with wildlife — from grazing deer to a variety of birds — and its natural scenery makes it ideal for both relaxation and exploration. Whether you’re after a quiet stroll, a scenic jog, or a full day out with family, the area offers something for everyone. There are designated BBQ spots, picnic areas, and clean toilet facilities that make visiting convenient and enjoyable. The walking and running tracks are well-maintained, offering routes for all fitness levels and interests. Overall, Bradgate Road and its surroundings provide a peaceful escape from the city, combining nature, history, and recreation in one truly lovely destination.
Nicholas M — Google review
The park is beautiful. What I didn't like was the amount of dogs off leads near the deers. This included a pit bull. Owners need to be wary at all times as deer are loose everywhere. Great for photographers. I parked in the south woods carpark as it is £2 all day.
T K — Google review
A beautiful park and a great place for hiking, walking, and simply relaxing. It’s always thrilling to see wildlife up close here. Toilet facilities and cafés are available both at the entrance and in the middle of the park, which makes it very convenient. You can easily spend the whole day enjoying a picnic and connecting with nature and wildlife. There’s plenty of parking available — £5 on weekdays and £6 on weekends for the full day. It’s also good to see that bins are placed throughout the park, helping to keep it clean.

What and incredible place! Visit the ruins and the gardens. Take a walk alongside the stream. Or hike up the rocky hills to take in the panoramic views and pay your respects at the war memorial. Deer and Peacocks wonder freely around the grounds. This really is a stunning part of the midlands. When you need to rest your legs you can pop into the cafe to refresh, grab a bite to eat and take bathroom break. There's something for everyone to enjoy regardless of your physical abilities. I came via public transport from Nottingham. The number 9 Kinchbus took me from West Bridgford (Notts) to Loughborough (Auberry Gap stop), and then I got the 154 Centrebus from the Auberry Gap stop to the reservoir at the Bradgate Park. The stop which takes to back to Loughborough is also right next to the reservoir wall. I believe the last bus back to Loughborough is at around 18:30, and then there are multiple late buses back to Nottingham from there

Fantastic parkland with a large expanse of green space, some striking landmarks and remarkable prehistoric rock formations. Bradgate Park dates back around 800 years, when it began life as a deer park, a role it still fulfills today with a large herd of Fallow and Red deer. It's also home to the impressive ruins of Bradgate House, one of England's oldest brick built houses, and amazing ancient oak trees, many of which date back over 500 years. The park is maintained to a very high standard and has a number of entrances, each with their own parking area (charged daily at a reasonable rate) and public toilet facilities. Tearooms are located near the reservoir and the Newtown Linford entrance. The path is crossed by a network of well maintained and clearly signposted paths, ideal for dog walks and popular with families. The Newtown Linford entrance is best for short, easy walks past the stream to the house, while the Hunts Hill entrance in the upper part of the park is best for more challenging walks to Old John Tower and the Leicestershire Yeomanry War Memorial. These high points offer expansive views over the surrounding countryside and the Leicester skyline, with rugged rocks in the foreground. We stopped here on the way to the Peak District thinking the park would be a more interesting way to break the journey than a motorway service station, and were very happy to have done so. A real suprise that exceeded all expectations.

Indian restaurant
Kayal is an Indian restaurant located in Leicester, known for its Keralan seafood specialties and traditional street snacks served in a warm and relaxed environment. The restaurant has gained popularity among locals for its authentic versions of Kerala's seafood recipes. Founded by a group of Leicester locals with family ties, Kayal is dedicated to providing excellent customer service with the motto 'The Guest is God.'
I had an amazing dinner at Kayal Leicester. Every dish I tried Poth Ularthiyath, Kanthari Chicken, Pal Kappa, Meen Porichathu, Tilapia Pollichathu, Kozhi Kurumulak, appam, kal appam, Kerala porotta, and Seafood Biriyani was bursting with authentic Kerala flavors. The seafood was incredibly fresh, and the banana leaf presentation added a lovely traditional touch. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, especially the interior and the staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Every detail felt authentic and thoughtfully done. If you love South Indian cuisine, this is hands down one of the best places in Leicester. Thank you for the wonderful dining experience.

We had a lovely dinner at this gem in central Leicester. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with charming decor and subtle lighting that made the evening feel relaxed and special. We shared a starter of tender squid, perfectly seasoned and a great way to kick things off. For mains, we had a rich lamb curry and a beautifully presented fish curry served in a banana leaf — both were full of flavour and clearly made with care. The fish was especially well-balanced, with a subtle heat and aromatic spices. We had rice and chapati on the side, and a couple of cold Cobras to go with it all. Service was friendly and unrushed, and everything came out at a good pace. The total came to around £65 for two, which felt fair for the quality and experience.

Fantastic on everything!!! Service was great, food was outstanding! Had the Kayal Sadya which tasted so good, but the standout was the Kayal Soup! Absolutely packed full of flavour! Highly recommend this place if you’re ever in Leicester

Amazing South Indian food. An explosion of flavours with every bite, and leaves you wanting more! We had the lunch thali, lamb and fish curry with some different breads and some chai and lassi. Everything was on point 😋👌 The servers were really friendly and always happy to help with recommendations. Thank you for your hospitality and we will certainly be back again!

Been coming here since 2008 back in my student days when I was very excited to finally find a south Indian restaurant (my parents are from Chennai). This is the second time I have taken my husband here. The food is fantastic, the staff are lovely and attentive, the atmosphere is magical. Tonight we both had a thali (hubby had the non veg and I had the seafood). The fish curry is a knockout. The thali came with dessert which was lovely and luckily it wasn't too filling.

Best Indian restaurant I have been to in England. Food is incredible. Lovely place to sit in with nice decor. Staff are lovely. I especially recommend fresh mango juice, filled dosa and the crab curry. (Get the crab curry honestly 100% worth the mess) All of the celebrity endorsements are justified and every bread is incredible! 🦀🥘

The feeling i had inside was the same i had when i was in south east asia and bali Curries are tasty and fragrant. Nearly all dishes had fresh curry leaves other leafs. Complex flavors that are easy on the tongue The dosa and paratha they make is really good Been there a few time but last two times was for a teaching event so we had a buffet style for mains Unfortunately only took one picture

The food is very good and ambience is stunning. I am not a fan of the menu though. Seriously lacks variety but the items served are very good quality. Prices are a bit premium compared to other similar restaurants. The service is very good. Ammachi pidiyum kozhiyum was our favourite. Biriyani was not so great as I like more Dum type than regular one. Definitely try if you like kerala cuisine and a good ambience.

The restaurant is committed to serving quality vegan and vegetarian food at reasonable prices. With a focus on healthy cooking, Herb incorporates the healing aspects of herbs and spices into its dishes. We had the pleasure of dining at Herb Leicester last month, and it was an incredible experience! The food was truly authentic South Indian cuisine, bursting with rich flavors and perfectly balanced spices. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with family and friends. The restaurant had a charming and authentic vibe, adding to the overall experience. What really stood out was the exceptional customer service. Our servers, Mahi and Gopika, were absolutely fantastic! They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Their recommendations were spot on, and they made sure we had a wonderful dining experience for the seven of us. If you're looking for an authentic South Indian dining experience with great food, a welcoming ambiance, and top-notch service, Herb in Leicester is a must-visit! We'll definitely be coming back!

I can definitely recommend Herb if you want amazing vegetarian food. We travelled far to try this place and we were blown away by the taste, service and the vibes in the place. The pre-meal starter came with nice tangy and sharp pickles that left us wanting more. And every dish that followed maintained that same high standard. A very special thanks to Finil for his friendliness, patience and for answering all our questions. He made this visit special and worthwhile

My friend came to visit on Tuesday and wanted to have some vegetarian food, so the first place that came to mind was Herb Restaurant. Usually Indian restaurants can be a bit oily, but this one isn’t — I’ve tried it before and it always feels light and healthy. The lunch set is great value and the portion is generous. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, especially Ms. Gopika. I’ll definitely come back here again next time I’m craving vegetarian food.

Wonderful south Indian food. The menu is packed full of really amazing dishes and will come back to try more. Everything we had was excellent and didn't even realise it was vegetarian - it is all so tasty. Staff were friendly and efficient. Great dining room - it has several seating areas.

I usually don’t write reviews, but I feel this needs to be said. The food here was decent, but the experience was let down by the attitude of the manager. When Indian customers arrive, there seems to be a different treatment compared to others. For example, instead of being asked the same way as others whether we’d like bottled or tap water, it was assumed we’d only want tap water — and said in a way that felt dismissive. I understand every restaurant wants to attract more local (UK) customers, but that should never come at the expense of being respectful to others. All customers, regardless of background, deserve the same courtesy and options & broken plates were given to us I genuinely hope the management reflects on this, as equal treatment is the bare minimum one expects when dining out.

Me and my husband visited last night and left very happy , the most beautiful atmosphere, the warm and welcoming staff were amazing and the food was out of this world! There’s a reason they’ve won so many awards. Definitely the best veggie meal we’ve had in years, in fact ever!! Our waitress, Gopika, was exceptionally friendly and really took the time to make our dining experience personal and pleasant with her kindness and her skill of memorising our order perfectly without having to write it down was extremely professional and impressive 😁. The food was not overpriced at all and very reasonable, thanks so so much!

We loved eating here, came across herb on google maps when we were looking for a place to eat. Didn’t realise it was vegan but that didn’t change anything! The food is delicious regardless of your food preferences, we left feeling so full and with a whole serve of food that we took away. Excellent service from Gopika who helped us choose what to order. I would definitely go here again. The beers we ordered were also excellent and the decor was beautiful

Not much makes my heart sink faster than when you start to shell your prawn to be greeted by its last supper... We were also not seated until almost 40 minutes past our reservation making for a very late supper. At this price range, I had higher expectations...

I do not recommend. First time here, table of 6. The decoration is very nice and it creates a nice atmosphere. We ordered starters and mains. The restaurant was not full. We had to remind staff that we ordered olives and tap water for the table which they suggested as an up sell. Had one drinks menu for 6 people. Had to ask again for the drinks menu. The food was extremely bland. Apart from the restaurant being a chain with nice ambience the food taste is poor. Drinks especially draft beer is over priced I cannot recommend based on the food and slow service in a 3/4 full restaurant at best.

Absolutely amazing food! We have contemplated coming here several times but have doubted if it was the right choice - It most certainly is! The only downside of our experience was some other guests that were being exceptionally loud... But this is not down to the restaurant AT ALL! The staff were so friendly especially to our son who left with a very big smile on his face! And the food was beautiful. We most definitely will return again!

We decided not to cook tonight (Thursday 4th Sept) so we fancied trying San Carlo on Granby Street. A poor choice on our part! We were hungry so we bypassed starters (antipasti) and opted for mains. I chose the Veal Milano and my better half had the Lobster Ravioli. We also ordered the bruschetta and pattas frites as sides. The veal simply came as a slab of unseasoned breaded meat and the lobster ravioli came without lemon, but did have its own sauce. I was utterly underwhelmed by the whole meal. Whilst my partners meal tasted okay (just okay), mine was bland and boring and certainly not worth the inflated costs. There are much better Italian restaurants in Leicester rather than this one! The venue itself looks nice and reasonably classy, but the chairs are awful and make you feel like a kid at school, they are that low. We didn’t bother stopping for dessert and chose a different venue the same evening for something sweet.

Came here for dinner, booked in advance. Staff were polite and the food was nice. They were very busy though, it was hard to flag a member of staff down, and some people's wait times for food seemed very long (over 30 minutes). Toilets were clean and downstairs, not sure if it's wheelchair accessible but there may be a toilet on the main floor for disabled access.

I was served by Manal yesterday at San Carlo, and she was absolutely wonderful. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. Her recommendations were spot on, and she handled everything with a warm smile and genuine professionalism. It really made the dining experience stand out. Thank you Manal for the great service, I’ll definitely be coming back.

The ambience and the music is perfect for a nice evening date. Bernardo served us for the evening and he was very patient and helpful with suggestions. The food was exquisite with amazing flavours. Definitely recommended for a good dinner.

We waited for our food more than half an hour. We have got Chicken for the baby and the taste was with some fish taste and very dry, basically they cooked everything on the same oil, the Drinks were better than the food for sure - I wouldn't recommend it for food.

Was served by Betty, she was lovely and funny and made it a very nice experience! Ordered the chicken quesadillas which were amazing, all the food was fantastic so very big compliments to the chefs. If I lived in Leicester I would definitely come back!

I was looking forward to trying this restaurant as I've seen good reviews about it. I loved the ambience walking into it. Very Mexican. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The cocktails were amazing! The beef birria, I found quite sour. The blue corn tacos that came with it was nice, so was the dips. The sweet potato fries were really good. The dark chocolate tart was too rich for me. I'll definitely be back as I have a few things on the menu that I would like to try. All in all, good value for money.

The food was fab- no complaints. The service however was very poor. We were ignored at the door a couple of times and once acknowledged nobody asked us about allergies. Sat at the table waiting quite a while before anyone came to ask for our order. Our order was taken by a brunette lady in a pink blazer- she was quite abrupt and raced off so quick with our cocktail order that I didn't even get a chance to ask for some water before she was gone. She didn't ask if we wanted to order food either. Recieved our drinks after a while and WE had to ask the waiter if we can order food as we could see he wasn't going to ask us despite the fact we now had drinks and that's the next thing most people do. Ordered food, didn't get a check back to make sure everything was okay. I must add it wasn't heaving busy, the waiters were walking around a bit aimlessly and the pink blazer lady was stood looking at the computer screen at the front. I work in hospitality and if this was a mystery shopper report style visit it would be a bit fat fail. We took the service charge off ad it was absolutely not worth the money.

Lovely little find! Weekday afternoon so quiet...how Lovely! Quirky decor, which I loved! Great cocktails and delicious food! Waitress very attentive and friendly which made for a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely go back and take friends! Fantastic!

We were in Leicester for our Son's graduation ceremony & Visited this place only after his recommendation. Food was Great .. delicious, good in quality & quantity, Great atmosphere & ambience. Have sitting arrangement both indoor & Outdoor. Staff need to be more tentative & alert, we need to raise our hands thrice to get her attention. Bar need some more efforts, as mocktails were below average.

And for dessert an hot fudge brownie Sunday. Both was delicious.

Visited at the weekend along with my family. It was busy and got even busier. The waitress was friendly and helpful. After we'd ordered our food and drink she told us there was only one person doing the drinks, so we'd have to wait. She wasn't wrong. Food arrived after not too long, but most meals had items that were cold, chips, onion rings etc. When I paid the bill the waitress asked if we could leave a tip in cash, we told her we didn't have cash and her attitude changed! Not what we expected!

Seated immediately by Angel who took our drinks order within minutes. We had made her aware on entry we had limited time as we had seats booked next door at the cinema. Our food was served really quickly straight after our drinks. Nothing was too much trouble for Angel and we had a lovely time. Food was hot and tasty and good portion sizes.

Went there for lunch on Sunday, its a really good location next to the shopping centre. I asked for a quiet seat and was placed in a nice booth behind the front desk where you check in. Angel was attentive but not annoying, friendly, and the service was quick. The burger was cooked how I wanted and the chocolate fudge cake melted in the mouth. Really nice experience.

Came on Tuesday lunchtime, we really enjoyed the food! Loved the fact we could pick the music aswell 😁 had a really nice time, we got there around 12.15ish and it was quite steady. There was only one member of staff on who was running around trying to make sure everyone was seen to. Felt a bit sorry for him to be honest! He did a great job though, we didn’t catch his name but he could have been the manager/team leader. Fair play to the chef aswell, he managed to get everyone’s food out in a decent time too!

Great midweek meal at F&B. Good veggie options, and our server Angel was very friendly and helpful! Nice chilled atmosphere but with music playing so it didn’t feel dead. Halloumi Caesar salad & veggie calzone were great. Food is relatively expensive for a diner/Appleby’s style restaurant, but we had a voucher which made it better. Also cheap parking at Highcross after 5pm.
