Nottingham is a city in central England’s Midlands region. It’s known for its role in the Robin Hood legend and for the hilltop Nottingham Castle Museum and Art Gallery, rebuilt many times since the medieval era. In the Lace Market area, once the centre of the world’s lace industry, the Galleries of Justice Museum has crime-related exhibits. Wollaton Hall is an ornate Elizabethan mansion with gardens and a deer park.

Castle
Nature & Parks
Nottingham Castle is a historic mansion that offers displays on local history, decorative items, and renowned international artists' work. The castle provides an excellent view of the town and features remarkable bronze sculptures of Robin Hood and his tribe by James Woodford. Damaged in 1651, it was replaced by an Italian-styled citadel owned by the Duke of Newcastle.
Nottingham Castle. I was at a loose end and decided to go for a day out. Absolutely fabulous, a lot of interactive exhibits which are ideal for both adults and children. The art galleries are absolutely perfect and the cafe is great too. The shop is perfect for all pocket sizes and the grounds are beautifully looked after. For the adult ticket of £15, it’s free entry for a year so is worth going just for that!

Nottingham Castle played an important role in Britain's history. Apart from being famous for being home to the Sheriff of Nottingham, the castle was a strategic stronghold during England's civil war in the 1600's. Today the castle is museum that houses exhibits of Nottingham's lace manufacturing, studies surrounding the "Major Oak" in Sherwood Forest, and many other interesting displays. Outside the walls is a statue of Robin Hood that is a must see for visitors. Beneath the city is a network of caves that are also present at the castle. Booking a tour of the castle caves provides visitors with much more information about the history and importance Nottingham Castle has played in Britain's history.

Cool castle ramparts encasing a grand mansion steeped in history. Highly recommend booking a cave tour to explore the tunnels within the castle rock. The guides are hugely knowledgeable and give you a fun, educational, story-filled experience.
Leah M — Google review
Nottingham Castle looks impressive and full of history, even from the outside. The grand architecture and its position overlooking the city make it a striking landmark. The grounds and surrounding area are beautifully kept and offer great photo opportunities. A must-see spot that captures the heritage and charm of Nottingham!
Harsha J — Google review
The castle is nice but was expecting more of a castle then an art museum. There are few interesting exhibits. The castle looks nice from the outside, the grounds are nicely maintaned offering nice views over Nottingham. The price is a little high for the experience. The Robin Hood experience is nice but is more of a playground for kids with interactive stuff, for adults kind of boring. The cave tour was nice but to pay extra for that, above the entrance price can be pricey for some folks compared to the experiance. The staff is nice and hepful. You buy tickets at the entrance or online waiting in the queue is the same to enter. Next to the castle you'll find a mini square with the statue of Robin Hood. The Forest exhibition is let's say ok but doesn't really impress, a natural woodland walk might be better. One visit is enough honestly, doesn't make any sense to visit the castle again especially if you travel from a bigger distance. The location of the castle is very good, in the city center, car park buildings close by. The souvenir shop and restaurant is nice.

Nottingham Castle is a great mix of history, legend, and modern storytelling. The museum inside offers well-presented exhibits about Robin Hood, local art, and the city’s past. The castle grounds are beautifully maintained with lovely views over Nottingham. While the original medieval castle no longer stands, the experience is still engaging and family-friendly — worth a visit if you’re exploring the city’s heritage.
David G — Google review
The staff were all very helpful and friendly entry price is reasonable but..... I was expecting more castle. I am aware that the castle is self was destroyed many many years ago. I enjoy looking at castles in their various states and wonder what they would have been like. The exhibitions were informative and interactive.
Chris G — Google review
Personally, we thought £15 entry for adults (£30 for us both) was expensive for a one-off visit if you wanted a tour of the caves that was an extra £8 per adult (we did not go on that). Yes, the entry ticket lasts a year and you can go as many times as you want which is good if you live close by, It's nice that children are free to enter, nice grounds with views over Nottingham, it's not really a Castle more like a mansion building which houses an art gallery / museum in the main building, the Robin Hood experience is more for kids with lots of interactive things to do, we enjoyed the Rebellion part of the exhibition and all about the history of Nottinghams troubled past, Wasn't really impressed with the echos of the Forest exhibition lots of tree photos and a video of some ladies dressed on cloaks hiding in trees, it may be I would prefer to walk in a natural woodland or forest and listen to the natural sound of nature, personally we would not return as we have seen it

Caverns & Caves
The City of Caves in Nottingham is a fascinating underground attraction that offers a glimpse into the city's rich history. The network of over 500 sandstone caves has been developed since Anglo-Saxon times and now serves as a popular family destination. Visitors can explore various historical sites within the caves, including a medieval tannery, Victorian slum remnants, and an air raid shelter from World War 2.
Had a nice experience while visiting the place. Better to buy tickets in advance. The entrace is under the flyover next to the Contemporary Art Gallery. The staff is nice you can ask many questions about the cave system. Our guide was very nice giving good information about the life people had in the past and how the cave systems were used in the past. The way he explained some interesting facts were funny, engaging and informative in the same time. Inside the temperature is comfortable. If you're visiting Nottingham give it a try you'll like it.

These Guided tours are very informative and interesting, great on a hot day as it's lovely and cool down there. We visited with the intention of us all going in, however it's not ideal for toddlers. Our 1 and a 1/2 year old son would have found it very frustrating had he gone down. Our kids between 9-13years loved it as a lot of the tour was about children! Would recommend a visit with kids or as a couple of you are Into hidden history of cities!

Dave our guide put on an entertaining tour with fun and drama to keep the younger members of the group entertained. It’s great when someone puts so must effort into making this tour so memorable in the forty five minutes time frame. Thanks for giving me an insight into life in the caves as I’d no idea so much took place there.
Stephen W — Google review
A must-see in Nottingham! The caves are fascinating, and our guide Andy was fantastic — funny, knowledgeable, and full of great stories that brought the underground history to life. Top tip: wear comfy shoes, as the ground can be uneven. Such a unique experience right under the city centre!

Hidden beneath the bustling streets of Nottingham lies an extraordinary network of history, atmosphere, and intrigue — the City of Caves. This subterranean wonder is more than a collection of ancient sandstone chambers; it is a living chronicle of the city’s past, beautifully preserved and thoughtfully presented. My visit was made all the more memorable thanks to our fantastic tour guide, Sam, whose warmth, wit, and depth of knowledge brought the caverns vividly to life. From the moment the tour began, she effortlessly balanced historical insight with engaging humour — even jesting that if we didn’t enjoy the experience, we should attribute it to “Philip” instead. Naturally, there was no need for poor Philip to take the fall; Sam’s delivery was impeccable. Her ability to weave fascinating anecdotes of medieval tanners, wartime air raid shelters, and long-forgotten dwellers transformed what could have been a simple historical walkthrough into a truly immersive journey. One could almost feel the weight of centuries pressing gently through the stone walls, softened by Sam’s charm and enthusiasm. The atmosphere below ground is simultaneously eerie and comforting — dimly lit tunnels giving way to surprisingly spacious chambers, each echoing with the whispers of those who once lived and worked here. It’s a setting that invites reflection, curiosity, and, for those with an appreciation for the finer subtleties of history, genuine awe. In short, the City of Caves is a Nottingham treasure — a reminder that some of the most remarkable stories are told not in grand halls or museums, but in the quiet depths beneath our feet. With Sam as your guide (or perhaps “Philip,” should you prefer the mystery), it is an experience not to be missed.

Lovely little hour tour. Pur tour guide Evie was full of energy and told the stories and histories with such fun and theatre. Very interesting and worth every penny and a donation.

Buy tickets in advance to get a time slot. The tickets are valid for twelve months. The guided tour was great, lots of stories and information from our guide. Would recommend, along with the Halls of Justice. Maybe not for the claustrophobic!

The tour of the caves gives a comprehensive and immersive experience of the caves and their inhabitants over the years. Their history is as interesting as its Grimm. Definitely recommended.

The National Justice Museum, located in Nottingham, United Kingdom, offers an immersive exploration of England's legal history dating back to the 1780s. Housed in the historic Shire Hall and County Gaol, this museum features interactive exhibits and artifacts that vividly depict the stories of criminals, victims, and law enforcement over the centuries. Visitors can engage in mock trials, explore old prison cells, and learn about famous trials.
Spent an afternoon here with my partner and her sister. We saw the court case and hanging reenactments and the actors were absolutely shining. Really brought the experience together, filled with knowledge and gave us further direction within our trip. Pricing is incredibly low considering what you get. Really happy with our time here. A further thanks to the actors involved, it makes the whole vibe so much better. Thank you.

What an incredible museum and well worth the entrance fee. The history of the museum, along with details of the former inmates, was so interesting. There is just so much to learn about, and presented so well. I've visited so many old goals over the years, but this museum offers far more and definitely worth visiting.

So impressed by this museum. Full of information and exhibits some of them interactive .But the highlight was the live performances of a Georgian trial in which members of the public took part and the "hanging" performance. Both were entertaining and informative. Could have stayed for hours. Highly recommend

Very interesting, loved the people acting out scenes and hangings, interesting stories and a well laid out and facinating display. There are lots of interactive displays and fun things to do. Go on spoil yourself, have some fun, you deserve it!!!

It's my first time coming here and it was very interesting, I learned a lot. They made it more enjoyable with the wrist bands, and you walked around looking for the prisoners' numbers and found out what they were imprisoned for. The actors were very good and friendly, which made the day more enjoyable. Also enjoyed the little cafe the food was delicious and I'd happily come here again.

The National Justice Museum was an interesting museum, brought to life by the people playing characters, so make sure you get to listen to the stories in court and at the gallows. The museum has a frustrting safe to crack (which we did not manage to do) and we enjoyed a brief stop at the cafe. About 2 hours and twin with the Caves (must see as well). Get a joint ticket!
Peter T — Google review
great experience, we loved the actors making it a very immersive experience. a fantastic feature on the current legal system for people seeking asylum which is brought to life by a film following the story of an amazing woman, we would really recommend watching this when you come.

Looking for an interesting and fun day in Nottingham…we spent over three hours visiting the fascinating national justice museum and highly recommend this well organised and original experience including the enactments! Cafe tea was the best in the city and the staff were fantastic. Can’t wait to use my annual ticket to go to the museum again.

Restaurant
Alchemilla is a stylish British restaurant housed in a historic red-brick building that used to be a Victorian coach house. The establishment, led by renowned chef Alex Bond, has earned a Michelin star and gained recognition through appearances on popular TV cooking shows. Offering elevated dishes with a focus on seasonal and foraged ingredients, the restaurant presents five, seven, or ten-course tasting menus featuring options for vegans, pescatarians, and meat lovers.
We were here to celebrate a birthday and our anniversary. The 7 courses are really nice. All courses came in very rich flavour, which I could imagine not always the preference for everyone. But we really enjoyed. The only suggestion to the dishes is on the last course of truffle tart - the tart base was too far to be cut but knife or fork. It would be easier to handle if it goes a bit softer.

A Birthday Dinner to Remember! Had the best birthday dinner ever at Michelin-starred Alchemilla! If you’re dining here, definitely go for the wine pairings—they truly elevate the experience. Each wine was carefully selected to complement every course, and the moody atmosphere with gorgeous lighting made it even more special. The service was fantastic, and the food? Absolutely incredible. My partner said the duck was the best he’s ever had, and I was obsessed with the desserts and their perfectly matched wines. They truly lived up to their Michelin star! We’ll definitely be back—can’t wait for the next visit!

This was my husband’s birthday present. It was a 2 hour drive over and was worth every minute! 4.5 hours, 12 courses and 7 wines. Could not fault a single mouthful. Drinks on the terrace to start was a lovely touch. Dan has done an excellent job pairing the wines, I don’t usually like dessert wines but the last two were particularly beautiful. Fantastic atmosphere. Alex was really friendly and chatty and even brought us extra snacks because they were just so good! The mushroom dish was a stunning stand out in a delicious tasting menu. We’ve been to quite a few Michelin star restaurants and this was easily our favourite. Will definitely come again.

Had a most wonderful experience at this restaurant. This is a place where the chef definitely believes “More is More”. The attention to detail was outstanding and the staff were an excellent team. Our server Molly knew exactly what she was serving us and wow it was a lot to remember. The place has a wonderful charm and there is a beautiful roof terrace.

Absolutely THE best place for date night / celebration food. The team are amazing and the food was superb. There was one hiccup about whether we were having sweetbreads or not but this was the only mishap. The terrace was a great addition since we last visited.

I attended the restaurant in December 2024 for my Birthday with my partner and newborn child. The food was excellent with each dish a design of taste and presentation. The service was impeccable! We look forward to coming back, thank you for your patience and care. ❤️

Spent my birthday at Alchemilla — and honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate. I’ve wanted to do the full tasting menu there for years and I’m glad I was able to make this occasion especially memorable. Started with a glass of Nyetimber Rosé on the terrace before heading inside for a tasting menu that was creative, intricate and full of bold, unexpected flavour. The menu included; 🦪 Oyster with Summer 2022 relish & buttermilk - Genuinely one of the best oysters I’ve ever had 🥔 Hash brown with truffle curd, chorizo jam & cured pork - This was also delicious 🦀 Chicken skin with brown crab & togarashi – a crispy, umami-rich punch The menu then unfolded beautifully across land, sea and forest: 🌱 Celeriac, sour butter & sour bread - We’re definitely team Celeriac (if you know, you know) 🦐 Langoustine, nam jim & fermented fennel 🍄 Mushroom, teriyaki & caramelised ham cream - This may have been my favourite course. The various types of mushroom created such an amazing blend of flavours and textures. 🐟 Trout, miso duck liver & fermented rhubarb 🔥 Sweetbread, lobster hot oil, ranch & umai caviar 🕊️ Pigeon, apricot, rose & merguez 🌲 Blackcurrant wood, pine & beetroot 🍓 Strawberry, sorrel, koji & black garlic The whole experience truly lived up to expectations and the full wine pairing ensured my pictures progressively got worse as the night went on but I can’t wait to hopefully go back again in the future and I highly recommend if you’ve wanted to go then do make the trip!

Our family party of six had a marvellous time at Alchemilla recently, celebrating my wife’s birthday and the beginning of her retirement. Each course was wonderfully memorable in its own right but as an experience it was amazing. Those member so four group with allergies were accommodated with sensitivity and creativity, so no one felt their experience diminished in any way. The service from the whole team was spot-on, everyone was helpful, knowledgeable and had the time to chat, which is rare in so many restaurants these days, but makes for a wonderfully personal experience. Thank you for a great evening! We will definitely be back soon.

The establishment offers a delightful selection of sweet treats, including vanilla scones and expertly crafted petit fours, as well as savory options and a variety of fine loose-leaf teas. With separate menus for vegetarians, vegans, and those with gluten-free diets, everyone can indulge in the delicious offerings.
We used a voucher that we'd been given for Bottomless Brunch. The food was delicious, our waitress Katie was excellent & kept us topped up with drinks. We were both too full to eat the pudding part of the deal so they were packaged up for us to take home. Excellent food & service 😊

Freak shake was very nice and the Pudding Pantry has a wide range of options for everyone. No complaints on the food side 👍 Service was quick and efficiency wasn't an issue 👍 Poor hospitality and people skills: The lady with blonde hair and glasses that served me was cold and unfriendly (no warmth at all) and felt uncomfortable ☹️ I will give it another go next time, hopefully this won't happen again. Overall a mixed experience - food was nice, hospitality was poor (especially coming from a Mediterranean culture)

Lovely hideout for coffee and food. Has its own gluten free menu which is great to see. Service great 😊 They do get busy and it’s a small setting so just be patient because it’s worth the wait.

The lady who served me was very accommodating and all smiles, nice thing to see in the morning. I believe her name is Lyka. Recommended me a lovely drink which is the pistachio, and suggested to build my own breakfast as I am not a fan of pancakes and hash-browns. She was also checking me in if everything was okay. Please send her my gratitude for her lovely service.

Amazing veggie breakfast! I can never quite finish it all. You get so much. It's all very tasty. I recommend the scrambled eggs. The mushrooms also had lots of garlic/butter flavour.
Sophie G — Google review
Staff were very nice but the food and timings were a let down. We ordered the buttermilk chicken brioche and salted beef brioche. Given how busy the place was and how nice some of the other plates that were coming out looked we were excited. I was expecting a sweet and savoury dish of fried chicken on a thick slice of French toast. Instead, after half an hour, they brought me 2 warm chicken tenders in a bog standard, untoasted, BBQ brioche bun, bit of spicy mayo and a packet of crisps emptied on the side. Felt like a child’s menu item. My partners was also just cold pastrami cuts(expected) downed in franks yellow mustard in a bun with crisps. Both missing fillings, mine had no red cabbage pickle and hers no gerkins. Considering the rest of the menu is toppings on top of stuff, like pancakes and toast, we were expecting the same but on French brioche toast. The heading should just be renamed to burgers. Both items need a rethink as they seem to lack the thought and presentation that the rest of the menu has been given. Serving time was very poor too given how simple it would have been to assemble ours. The table next to us was sat down after we ordered and they were nearly on their way out by the time we got our food. Wish we ordered something else as I expect we’d have been much more pleased if we did.

MemSaab prides itself on elevating Indian cuisine while ensuring it remains accessible to all food lovers.
Went here for Mother’s Day and as we sat down I noticed it was a set menu and panicked. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. You got a lot for your money, portions huge and menu options were plentiful (I’m a veggie). Service was great. So attentive. Whilst we spent more on what we normally would (because of the set menu) we had no objections. We will be back to try the full menu. It was a lovely touch for the owner to come round and check everything was ok
Claire S — Google review
Nice atmosphere and friendly service. However the quality of the sides were underwhelming. Very average tasting rice and naan options, left a lot more to be desired. My “very spicy” curry was slightly hotter than mild, starters were better than the curries. I understand that this place is a staple in Nottingham, but perhaps it is past its prime. The awards in the front would suggest that at least..

My mate and I were in Nottingham for a night out, and we stumbled upon this place for food. We were lucky enough to get a table right away, and the staff were super quick to take our orders for drinks and food. Now, here’s a heads up: the tables can be a bit wobbly, especially if you lean on them too much. I accidentally tipped over one of the tables while trying to move forward, and guess what? Two full beers went flying over the table, seating, and the floor! The staff cleaned everything up in a flash. They even moved us to a different table. As for the food, it was delicious! It was a bit spicy, even though we ordered a mild dish, but that’s just my taste. Overall, it was a great experience.

Wasn't sure what to expect due to the AA rosettes and inclusion in Michelin guide. I wasn't disappointed - great tastes, fresh herbs and spices and good texture. The Jalfrezi and Ostrich starter were the standout dishes. The chutneys were a little disappointing. So, was it better than my normal 'go to' restaurants? Probably not, but definitely worth a visit.
Mark F — Google review
We had a nice meal and the service was good and attentive. I wasn’t a big fan of the bhajis but that’s just my particular taste. The keema naan was really good. The curry was nice - it was a butter chicken makhani , which had more heat to it than I anticipated. Overall it was a nice meal

I visited Memsaab on Friday after hearing rave reviews about this place for years. Everyone from my family, friends, and colleagues who’s been there has raved about their experience. Despite being hesitant to try highly recommended places, the combination of their pricing and the overwhelming positive feedback made me want to give it a try. Upon entering, we were greeted with dates, a traditional Muslim treat, and offered ample prayer space in the back. They also provided us with plenty of water to break our fast, which was incredibly thoughtful of the staff. After our prayers, we settled down and were promptly and efficiently served by attentive waiters, making our dining experience feel personalised. The staff was incredibly compassionate and accommodating of our dietary requirements. They explained each dish in detail and were genuinely interested in engaging with our group. The food was absolutely delicious. I started with the Amritsari Machli, a delectable dish served with a variety of tasty sauces. My husband and I then opted for a tandoori combination, and the staff kindly swapped out the prawns for another chicken tikka. We paired these dishes with peshwari naan, which perfectly complemented the flavours. As a food reviewer, I usually try places only once before moving on to the next, but Memsaab has certainly piqued my interest. I’m eager to return and explore more of their extensive menu.

I can't fault the food, the only reason I give it a 4 star is price. I feel it just that but too expensive. I generally only visit on a Monday where u get a fantastic deal. £6 for small fish and chips, a sauce and a drink. Family dinner taken care of. Also I think a bit more of a selection of soft drinks as well.

Ordered my food on Uber eats. I couldn’t fault the quality of the fish but it was tasteless, not seasoned at all! As I’m staying in a hotel, i had no salt or any other seasoning. They didn’t even add a slice of lemon with it. It was such a disappointment!

That place made me speechless when I stayed there not longer ago for two consecutive nights. Hotel ambiance and interior and exterior design is very niche!!!. Hats off to the chef and kitchen staff who activated my taste buds by making extremely delicious food for me on two different occasions. Lastly, I am really impressed by the decor and building layout. Definitely going to recommend to business owners and anyone who wants to experience decent quality time. ❤️‍🔥🩸❤️🌷

Booked a 2 x night stay in one of the garden room at Harts for a family reunion in September. Booking process was all good, good comms and nice friendly staff on arrival. In order to assist future guests to make an informed decision about the hotel, I have shared my personal experience and listed both the positive and the not so positive points of the hotel and my stay. Good Points: • Location is simply fantastic- just off the city centre, away from all the buses and bus slow, but literally a few minutes walk into the centre • Lovely garden view, with amazing elevated views across the park • Amazing water pressure in the bathrooms, filled the bath so quickly - probably the best I’ve ever experienced! Also made for a great shower in the mornings • Massive bath, full length for a good long soak - brilliant • Lovely large fluffy towels, smelled nice and fresh • Individual controlled heating control. No air con, which would be an issue in the summer, but very effective heating control for the time of my stay Not so great points: • Noise from doors, the hotel is really showing its age and this is most noticeable with the fact that all the individual room doors make a heck of a noise when closed. No soft close here I’m afraid. Around 3:00 PM onwards, the noise is pretty much continuous. I counted on average 15 x noisy door slams for each half hour period. Approximately one every 2 x minutes or so, continuously! The noise did stop once everyone was in bed, but then sadly started again early 7:00am ish again the next morning. Such a shame, as otherwise the hotel is actually really lovely and quiet, which considering is city centre location is pretty amazing. Ending up seeing est plugs whilst I was ever in the room, to drown out the continuous thud- but could still hear the noise with ear high speciation silicone ear plugs on, rated to 30 decibels • Noise from the cleaners, my room number 2 seemed to be where the cleaners congratulated in the mornings. They would literally sit on the floor outside my room, folding sheets and laundry stuff, whilst talking loudly and laughing - incredibly noisy and absolutely no chance of any sleep. The laundry cupboard was also located directly popper my room and it was constantly being opened and banging noises down the cleaners. From what I can gather garden rooms 1-4 will all be affected by this noise • Very badly stained carpets in the room, not nice at all. Need a good clean at the very least and probably a few years past needing to be replaced in my opinion • Old and chipped fixtures - very dated banged about fittings • Unfortunately for purpose clear frosted glass panels on the bathroom sliding door, which meant that the whole room was flooded with light, despite having the curtains and blinds in the room closed. Completely useless and a fire example of the extremely poor design of the hotels • No working extraction in the bathroom, resulting in lots of steam and unable to use the bathroom mirror • Mould on the grout lines to the shower area, needs re grouting • Tiny small room, couldn’t even do my yoga. Easily the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. Just about functional but far too small • Awful motorway service station quality loo roll! No excuse on this one, come on guys an extra 50p a booking for proper loo roll! In summary, great location hotel, but sadly the hotel is really showing its age now. Simply not acceptable at this price point, you would be better off and the Premier Inn across the road. There are many design floors and it is as if no thought event went into the design and everyday use of the hotel. I would suggest that the owner or one of the managers actually try and stay a night in the hotel and they will very quickly become fully aware of its many and significant short comings I do hope that the hotel make some of the much needed improvements and address some of the issues, but alas for me, my stay really wasn’t a great experience and I would struggle to rate the hotel any higher than a disappointing 4 out of 10.

Stayed here for the second time over the weekend as we were over for a family wedding. We didn't feel the hotel was worth £200 a night, The bedrooms are small and are in desperate need of a refurb. The bedroom window - you could not open. We will not return to the hotel even though the location is great. You have to pay for the parking!

The one star review is for the male receptionist who was on shift at about 8pm on the 12.09.25. He is the most rudest customer service assistant I’ve ever dealt with in my life. I was gobsmacked with his attitude and his tone, it made me want to leave. However the receptionists on the morning after were lovely. If I’m honest everything was okay apart from that male staff member and I would not return back due to him. He needs serious training or needs to look for a new job.

I stayed for two nights. Both extremely noisy. I was woken up numerous times both nights because of other guests. I did inform reception but ultimately there was nothing they could do. It was left as "I was just unlucky" .. I travel a lot and need good sleep. Very Noisy hotel

This hotel over books rooms. I pre-paid for 1 night on the 10th September via Expedia website, 162 nights booked this year so far due to work with no issues. So I arrive at the hotel at 8pm to check in as I started work at 10pm to be told by the very rude and sour faced women on reception that there is no room for myself and that expedia have been trying to call me all day. I work nights and sleep in the day. Not even an apology from the sour face. Just put the blame onto expedia. Bull. This hotel over books rooms. AVOID.
