Dreamy place. Amazing sand beach without rocks. Sometimes yatches park nearby and they can be quite loud. You can access via the shore; there is a nice trekking path, or via car. Note spaces are limited to park, and bet during summer it gets very crowded. They rent umbrellas, chairs, and there are different sort of restaurants : cantones nearby. Amazing view. Amazing color of water.
An amazing beach that offers you fine sand, clear water and the best view you can have. We went with our beach towels and it was crowded. We hunted the spots so we can stay. I suggest to come in the morning to catch good spots because the beach is a little one.
Very beautiful beach with christle clear water. Amazing view. Free beach but parking is very little complicated
Stunning beach, crystal water, good parking options. Busy, as you’d expect so be prepared to get cosy with other beach goers. Will deffo visit again, superb!
The water was crystal clear, one of the best we've ever been in. It's a truly wonderful experience, especially if you walk a bit further down the beach. Compared to the first section, it wasn't very crowded, and even where we rented sun loungers, no one was swimming. Because we arrived in September, two sun loungers and an umbrella at the front cost 30 euros. Kayak is also available for rent in the section where we stayed, and you can go kayak for an hour for 25 euros.
Amazing sea… You have to come here! You can park your car nearby the way for free, then walk 10-15 minutes. The cheapest sunbeds are €40 in September, but there are also free areas. If you don’t have an umbrella, just find a tree for shade and enjoy this amazing sea all day long.
Nice two beaches next to each other, easily accessible. Parking 2 euros and hour
Nice beach but unfortunately very crowded. You will have to be lucky to par nearby, even in September. Also take for granted you will be laying close to others as there is simply not enough place for all the visitors.

Really lovely beach. Can get busy but i didn't mind. The water is super clear and clean. you can rent beds and umbrellas. You can buy drinks and food from bars. Super easy to get to from the bus so id highly recommend to anyone using public transport. You can get the 4 bus and its less than 5 minutes walk away from there. There are people selling things like towels, shirts, dresses and toys which can come in handy when you have forgotten something. They may ask you if you want something but they werent pushy and just carry on if you say no.
Huge beach, white sand, very warm water, exactly what you would expect from a Mediterranean beach. Drawback is finding parking - if you get there after 11am, good luck, you might need to wait until later in the afternoon. There was also some seaweed present as you enter the water but this was nothing like the Caribbean, where it can sometimes be far worse.
Wednesday the17th September. A little cloudy day but still good to go to explore this beautiful beach. Easy drive and plenty of parking on a sandy, somewhat rough terrain. But it is free and very close the enter the beach. You have to walk like 25 meters to get onto the beautiful stretch out calm waters. The water is so clear and like slowly descending so ideal for kids to. The swimming area is marked and close by there is a place for some cold and warm drinks. So now and than you see some planes passing through. Little bit further you see the big boats passing. When you leave you can trash your garbage in the several bins and separate it.
Gorgeous beach and an awesome beach bar! Mama beach bar! Loved it!! Just don’t try to walk there from the port! Big mistake but luckily I found a ride! Then took the bus back later:) ha funzionato tutto 🤌
One of the best beaches in Olbia: white sand, crystal-clear water, and parking just 2 minutes from the shore. Just try to avoid peak hours when it gets crowded.
Beautiful beach, clean and not too busy on a weekday. Amenities available but not as good as on some other beaches. This beach has a lovely breeze.
Just come back from a weeks stay here. It is a beautiful island not very touristy at all. The beaches are stunning with clear water brilliant for snorkelling. It is a little gem of a country, so much to explore. We hired a car and went round the north of the island where there are some stunning beaches. Just a couple of points, people don’t speak much English so it is worth learning a bit of Italian before you go. Our apparently universal travel plugs did not work over here so worth checking you have the correct plugs. Car parks are quite expensive by the beaches 2.50 euros an hour. There are very few sun beds on the beaches, most italians bring their own travel chairs. If you do find sunbeds they are 25 euros for 2 for the day. Food is fantastic, but not much meat on the menu. If you like fish and vegetables like I do you will be very happy
Beautiful white sand beach. Not overcrowded in May.

Beautiful beach with lovey white sand and cristal clear water, just paradise in good sunny weather. Make sure you have a bamboo or plastic mats with you as you are not allowed to lie just on the beach towel. Make sure to bring your snorkelling gear as there is plant to discover under water. There is few bars around if you need something to bit
Beautiful beach. Soft white sand. Crystal clear blue water. Purchase beach access ahead of time. Restaurant nearby has the best pasta for lunch. The town square is fun to walk in the evening.,
A beautiful beach. Easy access and with comfortable services. It is important to remember to bring your mat, but even if you forget you can buy it there.
Beautiful beach You have to buy your ticket beforehand to enter the beach. Cost only 💰 3.50 € per person, it's worth the price since they also have access for clean toilet, shower area The beach is accessible also for those who have disabilities.
One of the nicest beaches I've ever been to. The sea is beautifully clear and the sand clean. The beach is small and can get busy, there is a ticketing system in place but the staff helped us with the tickets and mandatory bamboo beach mat.
This beach looks beautiful. Photo taken mid September. People still swimming, green flag out and stunning colours. Wish we had stayed longer here.
Spiaggia Rena Bianca is stunning, but keep in mind that during the summer months, online reservation is required due to limited daily access. Also, using a beach mat (straw mat) is mandatory – if you don’t have one, they’re available on-site for €6.
Really beautiful beach! Necessary to make a reservation during peak season. Water is unbelievably clear with lots of fish!

Nice and interesting archeological site under the Baslica San Simplicio. The entrance is in the parking garage below. Opening times are on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from 10.00 - 13.00. You will get an audioguide with information.
Amazing display of ancient artefacts and graves dating back to 200BC. The attendant was excellent providing an audio guide in English (other languages available) all for 5 Euros each! Be warned that tis site is only open from 10.00 to 13.00 Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Well worth visiting together with the Basilica which is beautiful inside.
Check opening times!!! Very interesting little excavation site with simple but generally sufficient audio guide. It's underground, connected to a parking garage, so it's cool and comfortable even in the height of summer. The area is a little window to the necropolis of ancient Olbia and spans from phoenician time until Christan, so it delivers archaeological evidence for many ancient periods of the city. Only criticism I have were the info tables and specifically the reconstruction drawings. They seem technically correct (content wise) but way too quick and dirty for the kind of time, money and effort that was spent here. More maps, plans and archaeological drawings of stratigraphy would have been helpful. Generally more insight into the excavation processes. Orientation was initially difficult even for me with archaeology background. Overground there is the Basilica San simplico from 11th BC, apparently column bases are ancient/Roman.
A really fascinating short tour underneath the Piazza San Simplicio - accessed through the car park (follow signage for the car park / parcheggio, take the stairs down and turn left). Tickets to the Necropolis are purchased at its entrance (underground) and not in the actual car park. An adult ticket is 5 EUR which comes with an audio guide (English, French, German, Italian) and earphones. The tour round the archaeological excavations takes 15-20 minutes, and was really fascinating and full of information and description. Aside from the audio guides, there is also signage with information, photos and maps along the tour. It’s a very interesting and key piece of Olbia’s history, and the site and discovered artefacts have been well maintained.
I was told the site, which was completely empty, was closed for a school trip. I asked if I could come back later but apparently not. After begging, I was allowed in for one minute. The basilica was also closed.
Very interesting with excellent self guided audio tour. Located unexpectedly in the car park.
Hard to find the ruins, they are under the plaza, in the carpark! English headsets, very informative and educational.
(Translated by Google) Ancient Roman necropolis in which we can see a little more than 450 tombs. Quick visit (30 minutes) nevertheless very interesting thanks to the audio guide provided. Archeological museum displaying ancient Roman ships & local artifacts in a contemporary space.
Slide 1 of 8
One of the 40 Roman ships burned and sunk in Olbia's harbour by invading Vandals in 455 AD has been raised and the charred hull is now is on display in the Museo Archeologico di Olbia at Olbia, Sardinia, Italy. The ship's rudder hangs to the left. Also on display is an inscription with Punic lettering discovered locally. It's thought to be the dedication of a building.
Went here on a Tuesday and didn't have many people. They have audio guides in English and at the reception they also speak English. You don't have to pay, but need a (free) ticket for the audio guides. Very interesting museum and great artifacts! Definitely recommend visiting.
First of all I am giving 4 stars because I reserve 5 for places like the Louvre or the Uffizi. This museum has the reconstruction of the original Vandals boats that invaded Olbia in 450 AD. In the cases there are also unique and interesting pieces. On top, the museum is centrally located, it is free and free audio guides are also offered.
The building is interesting inside. As with most archeology museums it's best to have an interest in the items being displayed. Unlike many museums it is not full of stuff but everything is well presented... remains of ships, pottery, coins, fertility artifacts.
Beautiful and architectonically interesting museum! Olbia's rich history and archaology well presented, goes beyond the traditional old-school archaeological museum. Free entrance (including audio guide).
Big building, nice and interesting artifacts and a wonderful story about the city and the island. The front desk staff were so kind a helpful. The views at the top of the building are fantastic.
Not bad, but nothing special as well. Worth visiting since the whole tour should take around 15-20 minutes. It's great that is for free and with free tour guide speaker as well.
It's pretty interesting, includes a lot of history that's very specific to the region and the room with the salvaged remains of super old ships is fascinating with the structure they put in place to keep them from deteriorating. That being said, the museum is not complete yet - there are some displays missing and the audio guides mentions several videos that are not available yet

This giants' tomb is one of the largest and best preserved in Sardinia. The ticket office is permanently closed and access is free, as is the case with the nearby castle. If you find the small gate closed just open it, it has no padlocks. This common tomb is dated 1800 BC., with addition in 1500 BC. The bodies were buried by removing the top slabs. The front part (called exedra) was used for worship, offerings and rites.
Easy acces, a quick look on the cultural heritage. Free entry. Nearby a ruin of castke worth seeing. Nice landscape.
Nice quick trip just outside of Olbia. Interesting and majestic. Very peaceful. We were walking around the grave and sat down for half an hour just admiring the scenery and the cool breeze under the olive trees.
It’s just a few stones, but looked nice. There is nice view for the ruins of the castle nearby. If you have nothing to do and want to kill some time, I’d say you should go.
While the grave site was an interesting formation, the castle nearby seemed a lot more interesting. Unfortunately, the castle was closed. Road is a little rough, but not bad.
Place with nice landmarks. There is no fee for entry, open 24/7.
We climbed back down the trail from Pedres Castle and then followed the path past the car park to Su Mont'e s'Abe, a megalithic barrow tomb in an extremely good state of repair. This was in a grove of trees which gave welcome shade and consists of a large corridor with huge stone walls and roof and then more stones arcing out from either side at the front, like a Zulu impi or bulls horns. The site was built around 2000BC and was in use until the start of the Nuraghe period.
Interesting place to visit, over 3000 years old.

Nice long beach, not really crowded. Easily to find spots if you come with your beach towels. The water is clean and clear. The sand is not that fine, it’s a little bit hard, but the plus here is that you can easily wipe it from you
Lovely beach. Enjoyed swimming here
A peaceful beach with coarse sand, clear and deep water. Kite surfing available
Needed to kill some time before a flight and found this lovely chilled spot. With a beach cafe too.
A nice beach near Olbia. Also reachable via bike (~30min). You can also do some kite surfing there
Nice beach just outside of the city. Easley reached by buss or car. It was not crowded, so we had plenty of space. Only minus was all of the small rocks in the sand you had to walk over to get into deep water.
Nice calm beach and a great wind surf paddle location. Great bar near the beach.
We went on a sunny Saturday around noon. There was tons of parking and very few people on the beach. It’s the only beach out of five that we have seen that has breaking waves. The sand was mostly coarse and it was very windy which is probably why wind surfers were enjoying it.

Very peaceful unique bronze age site of a sacred well. Was free to access and bus stop is nearby -just 10 mins from olbia train station area. Very well kept - also with nice botanic signposts. Visit the nearby beach after to get splendid views to Tavolara
A somewhat minor ancient attraction with a major supermarket located next to it. The walk from the parking is short with some adorably gardened and marked vegetation located all along the way. A perfect place to find out how the Rosemary is different from an Olive tree or show your children how to do so
A sacred space to stop and meditate
Rubbish all over thé place. Shame.
Nice and pleasant. Not much else to see
Beautiful, very suggestive.

Chiesa Parrocchiale di San Paolo Apostolo in Olbia is a charming church with a beautiful stone façade and a peaceful interior. Its colorful dome stands out as one of the town’s landmarks, and inside you’ll find a quiet space for reflection away from the bustle. Worth a quick visit if you’re exploring Olbia’s historic center.
The medieval Chiesa Parrocchiale di San Paolo Apostolo in Olbia, Sardinia, Italy, was rebuilt in the 18th century. Zigzagging rainbow colored tiles are on the dome.
Beautiful church! Easy access to.
Tickets are not required, if you come to Olbia, you have to visit here. Amazing Christian artworks & roman architecture.
Nice church, free entry for a pretty church. The inside is in good condition and looks good. The church is less old (1700-1800) then the other one but still a nice place to have visited.

I walked out, glorious day! Even the main roads were quiet and safe! Beautiful views and very quiet there! Only met two other people! Well worth the views
Small ruin with a short walk. Great views. Worth a visit, especially if you've got an hour before your flight. It's yards from the airport!
You have to walk up some stairs, but it's mostly shady and it's really quick. The view from the top is really beautiful in ever direction and you can take beautiful pictures. What I found sad was that there where a lot of graffiti on the stone at the top and the trashcan at the infopoint was overflowing!
Really nice castle 🏰 We had lovely walk there with the dogs from neighbourhood 🐕
Short but efficient walk to the top. Great view and it is even free.
A beautiful old castle ruin on a hill, located south of Olbia. Perfect for a short bike ride from the city. Very beautiful views from the top, especially right before sunset.
We went there in the evening, oh what a wonderful place! Heavy sunlight was set on these hills and landscape. The castle was standing and watching. It was a privledge to climb up and be there. It's easy to find If you use GPS... parking for cars and there is one other very interesting site on the same location - Tomb of The Giants...
First stop was Pedres castle, built on a hill about 10k from the city and now overlooking Olbia airport. It's a fairly simple route from the city and there is a large car park. The last 500m of the road are a bit dodgy so just take care. This is a thirteenth century Pisan castle on a steep hill with commanding views. Very little is left other than one tower but there are traces of other buildings and walls within the forest surrounding the castle. The route up is actually quite pleasant, through the forest and follow the stone steps, taking 5-10 minutes. It was still sweaty work though! We watched several planes arriving or departing from the airport and just enjoyed the views from the peak. We could see our next stop, a megalithic tomb, in the woods nearby.
