Church
Basilica di San Simplicio, a minor basilica consecrated to the Protector of Olbia, is a significant religious monument in Gallura. Dating back to the 11th and 12th centuries, this Romanesque-style basilica features a three-sided facade and interior adorned with granite slabs and faded frescoes depicting the Saint.
Very beautiful church. We couldn't visit it because there was the holy mass, but the building and the garden outside are very well kept

The granite 12th century Basilica of San Simplicio in Olbia, Sardinia, Italy, has fragments of Roman stonework embedded in its Pisan Romanesque facade. Relics of San Simplicio, martyred during Diocletian's persecutions in 304 AD, are below the altar. Medieval frescoes hang in the apse.
David S — Google review
Beautifully preserved. Very spiritual place. Quite a simple church for its age. Nice arched features and carved heads. Amazing what structures were built with basic tool and manpower.

Old church with lots of history. It is in great condition and masses are being held in it still. It is free to enter the church, but you need to remove your hat and wear decent clothing. Nyugat-Szardinia legregebbi temploma, ma is üzemel még, tartanak miseket. Belepes ingyenes.
Zsófia K — Google review
This is an eleventh century church and was, for a Catholic church, extremely low key. Built of granite and with almost no interior decoration or side rooms it was quite a shock. Normally we spend quite a while in these buildings and take loads of photos but I actually took more in the cafe we went to, just across the piazza. There is an underground car park below the Piazza and we were intending to visit the necropolis there too but it was closed.
Marcus H — Google review
Lovely place, the architecture is incredible, when we got there there wasn’t much people, so we could analyse in detail all aspects of the church. There is something special about churches such as this.

Very interesting Basilica. Information provided in several languages. Built above necropolis dating back to Phoenician times.

History Museums
Museo Archeologico di Olbia, designed by architect Vanni Macciocco, is a contemporary museum near the port that showcases local history through a collection of artifacts. Visitors can explore Roman amulets, pottery, and nuraghic finds, with the highlight being a relic of a Roman vessel discovered in the old port. A multimedia display vividly recreates the scene of Vandals burning and sinking ships in AD 450.
One of the 40 Roman ships burned and sunk in Olbia's harbour by invading Vandals in 455 AD has been raised and the charred hull is now is on display in the Museo Archeologico di Olbia at Olbia, Sardinia, Italy. The ship's rudder hangs to the left. Also on display is an inscription with Punic lettering discovered locally. It's thought to be the dedication of a building.

Went here on a Tuesday and didn't have many people. They have audio guides in English and at the reception they also speak English. You don't have to pay, but need a (free) ticket for the audio guides. Very interesting museum and great artifacts! Definitely recommend visiting.
Karin E — Google review
First of all I am giving 4 stars because I reserve 5 for places like the Louvre or the Uffizi. This museum has the reconstruction of the original Vandals boats that invaded Olbia in 450 AD. In the cases there are also unique and interesting pieces. On top, the museum is centrally located, it is free and free audio guides are also offered.
Donatella P — Google review
The building is interesting inside. As with most archeology museums it's best to have an interest in the items being displayed. Unlike many museums it is not full of stuff but everything is well presented... remains of ships, pottery, coins, fertility artifacts.
Jacques M — Google review
Beautiful and architectonically interesting museum! Olbia's rich history and archaology well presented, goes beyond the traditional old-school archaeological museum. Free entrance (including audio guide).
Nevena M — Google review
Big building, nice and interesting artifacts and a wonderful story about the city and the island. The front desk staff were so kind a helpful. The views at the top of the building are fantastic.
Beatriz H — Google review
Not bad, but nothing special as well. Worth visiting since the whole tour should take around 15-20 minutes. It's great that is for free and with free tour guide speaker as well.
MB — Google review
It's pretty interesting, includes a lot of history that's very specific to the region and the room with the salvaged remains of super old ships is fascinating with the structure they put in place to keep them from deteriorating. That being said, the museum is not complete yet - there are some displays missing and the audio guides mentions several videos that are not available yet

Chiesa Parrocchiale di S.Paolo Apostolo is a lovely and restful church with both old and modern frescoes. While Sunday mass may not be in English as indicated on the website, it offers a beautiful experience in Italian that can easily be followed using the Mass sheet. The church, dating back to the 1700s-1800s, is well-maintained and boasts a colorful roof and impressive decorations.
The church was built on the ruins of an ancient temple. The building is well kept, and it is open to the public for free. The coloured cupola is so peculiar. Wonderful

Chiesa Parrocchiale di San Paolo Apostolo in Olbia is a charming church with a beautiful stone façade and a peaceful interior. Its colorful dome stands out as one of the town’s landmarks, and inside you’ll find a quiet space for reflection away from the bustle. Worth a quick visit if you’re exploring Olbia’s historic center.

Historical place
Nuraghe Riu Mulinu Cabu Abbas offers an impressive panorama of the gulf and Tavolara Island, although its conservation is lacking. The site possesses a distinct charm, and visitors can enjoy an exhilarating trek amidst unspoiled surroundings. The view itself remains untouched and retains its natural beauty, providing a truly authentic experience for nature enthusiasts.
Great hike. Very nice view. So raw.
L P — Google review
The view on the way to the top was amazing but the best view was on top of the mountain. The site was easy to find. Somewhat rocky but manageable. If you want you can also climb but be aware of the moving rocks. Would recommend.
Emilia A — Google review
The Nuarghe is an ancient stone wall / ring fortress on a hill. You can go by car to a point roughly 1 km away from the sight itself. From there you have to walk roughly 650 m up hill on a more or less paved road (for the more or less part take a look at the pictures in other reviews). After this there is the official entry (a sign explaining a few things about the structure and about it's diacovery). From there you have to walk ~330 m on a small path paved with uneven stones until you reach the "gate" of the Nuarghe. Once you're inside, you need to so some "climbing" for the last 20m to the top. The view on the top ist amazing, but the Nuarghe itself is just this stone structure and nothing more. There's no additional informatory text etc. And then you have to get down again. Did the trip in early October at noon with ~ 25°C and with this experience I highly recommend to *not* do this in the scourcing heat of the summer months. Furthermore, I advice to have at least some level of fitness and good shoes, if you want to go on that "hole".
Hauke M — Google review
Amazing view over the gulf and Tavolara Island, unfortunately the site is not well preserved but it has its own fashion
Giovanni C — Google review
This nuraghe is impressive, do not be put off by the road to it (starts off as a dust track and doesn't get much better!). When you get to the small parking area your real journey begins, it is a rocky path right up to the top. It can be a little challenging and is certainly not push chair or wheelchair friendly. Once at the top you are greeted with magnificent 360 degree views over Olbia and the port area. If you are going to do this in the summer, take water! It gets very hot and there is little shade, plus the plants up the path stop any breeze from cooling you down.
Graham C — Google review
The road to the parking is an experience itself. For the last part a higher wehicle is required / no sports car can make it. The stone pathway part sun and part shadows leads up to the nuraghe site. An easy walk cca. 15 min., but you should wear sneakers for the grip, as the last part is on rocks and stones. At first you enter the wall section through the stone doorway, and soon after then the main structure is within your reach. From the site you have an amazing view, as you see the hills and the Olbia / bay on the other side.
Alek H — Google review
We couldn't reach the side because we broke our bumper before we arrived. The road to the side is horrible and not maintained at all. Be aware that you might break your car. There were no warning signs or parking advices. Very disappointing.
Sarah — Google review
You need a car to get there from Olbia a 4x4 is recommended. It's 600 meters from the entrance, it's up hill. Some stretches are near vertical and rough going. Worth going if you are interested in nuraghe site's. Great views from the top, 1500 above sea level. Good luck!

Parco Fausto Noce is a verdant urban oasis complete with a natural amphitheater, sports facilities, and ponds. The community has made great strides in maintaining its cleanliness, evidenced by the abundance of trash bags and visitors actively collecting litter. The park boasts ample seating opportunities and lush greenery throughout, making it an ideal spot for relaxation amidst nature's beauty.
Very nice park, we spent a few hours here waiting for our room to be available. Nice little water feature. Restrooms are pay only, and require an EU health card. Not having one, we grabbed a bite at a nearby restaurant and used theirs. Good place to spend some time :)

Beautiful green park, lovely water feature and little creatures like ducks. Lots of shady spots to sit, relax, and enjoy. I would give a 5 but the toilets were pay only and it seemed you aren’t able to use them without a health insurance card?
Olivia V — Google review
Spacious park with plenty of shade and a fantastic play area for kids. The stadium looked like it was either under construction or closed off, which was a bit of a letdown given how many kids were playing soccer nearby. Still, it was a great place to spend a relaxed afternoon with the family.

We visited Playground and further part of the park with the pond and fountain. Park is very clean, no litter, grass kept short and watered. Plenty shade underneath the trees and palms, and plenty benches. Very pleased to be there for a walk or picnic and very sunny day.

Necropoli San Simplicio is a fascinating archaeological site located beneath the square of the Basilica of San Simplicio in Olbia. It comprises over 400 tombs dating from 200 BC to 300 AD, discovered during redevelopment work near the basilica. The necropolis can be accessed via Gabriele D'Annunzio and offers visitors an immersive experience with an audio guide providing historical insights.
Nice and interesting archeological site under the Baslica San Simplicio. The entrance is in the parking garage below. Opening times are on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from 10.00 - 13.00. You will get an audioguide with information.
Gracy S — Google review
Amazing display of ancient artefacts and graves dating back to 200BC. The attendant was excellent providing an audio guide in English (other languages available) all for 5 Euros each! Be warned that tis site is only open from 10.00 to 13.00 Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Well worth visiting together with the Basilica which is beautiful inside.
Peter W — Google review
Check opening times!!! Very interesting little excavation site with simple but generally sufficient audio guide. It's underground, connected to a parking garage, so it's cool and comfortable even in the height of summer. The area is a little window to the necropolis of ancient Olbia and spans from phoenician time until Christan, so it delivers archaeological evidence for many ancient periods of the city. Only criticism I have were the info tables and specifically the reconstruction drawings. They seem technically correct (content wise) but way too quick and dirty for the kind of time, money and effort that was spent here. More maps, plans and archaeological drawings of stratigraphy would have been helpful. Generally more insight into the excavation processes. Orientation was initially difficult even for me with archaeology background. Overground there is the Basilica San simplico from 11th BC, apparently column bases are ancient/Roman.
Lorenzo C — Google review
A really fascinating short tour underneath the Piazza San Simplicio - accessed through the car park (follow signage for the car park / parcheggio, take the stairs down and turn left). Tickets to the Necropolis are purchased at its entrance (underground) and not in the actual car park. An adult ticket is 5 EUR which comes with an audio guide (English, French, German, Italian) and earphones. The tour round the archaeological excavations takes 15-20 minutes, and was really fascinating and full of information and description. Aside from the audio guides, there is also signage with information, photos and maps along the tour. It’s a very interesting and key piece of Olbia’s history, and the site and discovered artefacts have been well maintained.
Connie — Google review
I was told the site, which was completely empty, was closed for a school trip. I asked if I could come back later but apparently not. After begging, I was allowed in for one minute. The basilica was also closed.

The Geovillage Sport & Wellness Resort in Olbia, Sardinia offers well-maintained accommodations in a tranquil setting. Guests can enjoy both indoor and outdoor pools, as well as a spa and indoor sports arena. The resort boasts clear skies and beautiful gardens, making it an ideal location for relaxation. Located in the center of Olbia and near stunning beaches like Costa Smeralda, it is also conveniently close to popular attractions such as Porto Cervo and Porto Rotondo.
It is a resort that has quite a good value for money. It has very well maintained facilities, a super clean pool, a well-kept lawn, with a much less tacky feel than most resorts have. The prices of the SPA are affordable, as in many places in Barcelona. The room price usually has a 90 minute treatment included. The rooms and bathroom are spacious, modern and comfortable. Breakfast buffet is not bad (it is always very crowded). The bad part is that for the two days we spent there is not worth paying 94 euros a night, since as long as you go out a bit to eat somewhere and to the beach you end up not taking advantage of any amenities. It is worth only if you go more days, eat there (although the inner restaurants are not cheap), the SPA, the tennis courts, the pool ... And of course, then you have to think about spending a lot more money. The air conditioning in the rooms was pretty bad, so they were quite hot.
Pilar C — Google review
I stayed for a week on business. The room is nice and clean and the location was convenient but the food quality and choice is poor. At breakfast cakes are dry and at dinner the menu is pretty similar every night with poor presentation and choice. In the room the shower phone did not stay up straight, the bath had no stopper in the bath, no one ever answers the phone at reception both when calling from the room or from outside. I am still waiting for a copy of an invoice I requestested every day for the past two weeks. I am so disappointed would not chose them again.
Gioia — Google review
Stayed at this hotel as a week break away with two of my mates! Rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was okay. We only had Bed and Breakfast. Tried the buffet dinner once. It wasn’t that great for 25 euros each (not including drinks). Plenty of other restaurants on site though. We tried a pizzeria! Excellent food there! Friendly and helpful stuff there. Receptionists where not all that helpful. Had a few Rude waiters and waitresses for Breakfast who were very unhelpful and always looked at my group with a frown on his face. Had rude neighbours, which would moan about you getting up during the night to go to the toilet. The location was 3 miles from the town centre. Rent a car! You must rent a car to get around or you will be paying a fortune to get around places. You can rent a car from the hotel (which we did). Spa was great which was included in the price too. Not much to do on site except for pool or sports facilities (which is an extra cost). There was a great minibus service to and from the hotel to the White Beach. Overall I would give this hotel a 3.4 out of 5! I would recommend staying at this hotel if your happy with the distance or your happy to rent a car
Aaron D — Google review
Pretty low standards for a 4 star resort. Rooms furnished very basic. Breakfast chaotic and cheap, staff is rude, sometimes cleared the table before we were finished. Nice pool and spa. The spa is definitely the nicest area. No ambience in the hotel at all. The hotel needs a proper refurbishment. I think the hotel is okay for a short stay.
Alexander — Google review
Overall nice hotel, staff is friendly and sports facilities (swimming pool, tennis, fitness) are great. The mattresses are really comfortable. We are enjoying our stay very much. On the less positive side, the rooms are ok but could benefit from some new paint, a bit of deeper cleaning (showers) and repairing here and there. Nothing terrible though. Careful, the parking is very tight and I never saw so many poles. Quite dangerous for the car.
Dimitri G — Google review
This was a disappointing stay. The hotel grounds are nice, and there is plenty to explore. I am impressed with some of the opportunities to swim, jog, cycle, etc. I can forgive that the place is very dated. However, air conditioning and WiFi in the room didn’t work. It was too hot to sleep. Staff were rude and dismissive when we asked for help having the air conditioning fixed (we weren’t even helped to find our room when we arrived...come on). The phone in the room doesn’t work. I called multiple times on the phone and didn’t receive help. If I had known this, I would have stayed somewhere else.
Cara G — Google review
Food excellent, rooms very big & basic but they do have verandas. No good for disabled, beach good at low season....high it's extremely packed. Hire a car if you want to venture out or go on bus routes. Service very good but not all staff that amiable. Food expensive, not Hotel shop & no money exchange at Hotel so get your money before getting there. Close to airport so transfer not too long but taxi is expensive so try & book before you can if you can.

We recently visited Sardinia and we stayed in this resort. Me, wife, and two kids 6 and 5 years old. Our experience with this resort is terrible. Hotel is very old looks like. We got a ground floor room. The carpet on the corridor is extremely dirty. Our was good size but water was dripping continuously from the AC and we had to use 3-4 towels a days to control it. We have complained 2 times but no one cared. Staffs are ok but look like they can't handle pressure on the busy season like August. Hardly anyone speak English so difficult to make them understand for any help. When you are not happy with your room, it doesn't matter how big the resort is and how many facilities they have. All were pointless for us.

Great stay in a stylish hotel near the airport! The hotel is beautifully designed and very well located – just a few minutes from the airport, with free parking, which was a big plus. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making check-in and our whole stay very smooth. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast selection was excellent – lots of fresh and tasty options to choose from. If I had to point out one small thing, I would have appreciated slightly more comfortable beds and pillows – but everything else more than made up for it. Overall, a great choice in Olbia.

Just Brilliant! the staff are what makes this place so good! ..oh and the breakfast! :) Rooms are spacious and clean. The pool is absolutely perfect. it is next to a shopping zone and busy road but when you're in the hotel or around the pool, you don't notice it at all. Please don't leave without a visit to the restaurant, sooo good! I can't recommend it highly enough!

One night stay after coming in late to Olbia airport, perfectly fine. We walked from the airport on the sidewalks and checked our family in around 9p. The restaurant was still open but we decided it was a little too much for us, so we got some snacks at Lidl across the street. We reserved the family suite, which was a king bed and a pull out sofa. The bed was very firm. The bathroom was nicely designed. In the morning, we had a nice breakfast at the restaurant downstairs and then used the pool. Towels are requested at the front desk and the pool opened at 9. I didn't take advantage of the Turkish baths as it requires 30 minutes notice to turn on. Overall a fine one night stay.

1) The hotel is old, outdated, and looks nothing like the photos on Booking.com. It’s falsely advertised and far from what you’d expect from a 4-star property. 2) After extending my stay, the issues began. The reception staff were rude, lazy, and inconsistent with their own rules. On my first night, I went to the steam room at 21:30 and everything was fine. On the second evening, I asked again around 21:00, but the receptionist refused to turn it on simply because she didn’t feel like it. She told me I could go in the morning, even though she knew I was checking out the next day. Later that same evening, she suddenly changed her mind and said I could go in 15 minutes. However, when I asked the next morning before breakfast; exactly as she had promised, she refused again, saying I couldn’t use it because I was checking out. The inconsistency and lack of professionalism were unbelievable. 3) When I tried to extend for another night (the third night), they tried to overcharge me, even though I had already found a valid rate online. Although my booking was still valid, the hotel kept calling me repeatedly (five times in a row) during an important business meeting with my company directors; completely ignoring that I was working. Their excuse was simply, “we’re also working,” which was incredibly unprofessional. I even told them to just block the room temporarily and that if the booking didn’t come through, I would pay immediately, but they refused. The entire situation took over 2.5 hours to resolve, and the staff kept pressuring me to pay again on-site or check out. In the end, I had to pay again at the reception. They even blocked my room key at 10:00, preventing me from entering my room while my booking was still valid, which is completely unacceptable and disrespectful. 4) I also witnessed unequal treatment toward guests. They show clear favoritism and discrimination; I saw other guests allowed to check out late, while I was strictly told to leave by 11:00. The overall service is disrespectful, unprofessional, and chaotic. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. It’s falsely advertised, overpriced, and run with no sense of customer service or respect. The management and service are chaotic, disrespectful, and discriminatory. Overall, this was a terrible experience from start to finish. The hotel is misrepresented online, the service is unprofessional, and the staff show no respect for guests. I strongly advise others to avoid this place.

The hotel is at a good location near the Olbia airport for the ones who would like to be near. The rooms are average. The ladies at the reception are professionals, very polite and friendly. Thank you. The breakfast is good. Overall it was a pleasant stay

hi the only reason this got a 2 star overall review is because of the aircon situation and the amount of dust on the floor, its like they never mop the floors! We visited in September when the weather was 30 degrees! it was hot and boiling! we arrived and our room was like a sauna!!! I straight away noticed our floor having dust (I walked bare feet and when I went into the shower I saw al the dust my feet had collected!), despite asking the cleaners to clean the floor they never did, other then that the cleaners were helpful, they gave me loads of pillows when I requested. I then tried to configure the aircon, it would set to the desired temperature, when I called reception the gentlemen said he sent someone to fix it whilst we were out and its been fixed however it wasnt fixed, then he told me that the room temperature is set centrally and that the lowest they can set it as is at 22! I tried to reason with them, to let me control the aircon from my room but he refused, so we asked for one fan and it was hardly helpful so we asked for a 2nd fan and slept 5 days in scorching hot weather! location was great, within 5 mins drive you can get to the city center, there is a mall thats 15mins walk from where we were, and a lidl in front of the hotel for water and snacks. pool facilities were decent, but the so called Turkish hamam isn't so Turkish, its just two bed where you can sit on INDOORS, with a shower unit,
MoRasha — Google review
The location is the best for easy on and off to the airport. Literally 4 minute drive! Breakfast was robust with lots of fruits, breads, cereal and even scrambled eggs and bacon

The DoubleTree by Hilton Olbia - Sardinia is a luxurious four-star hotel located in the heart of Olbia, Italy. The property offers bright and spacious rooms with some overlooking the city. Guests can enjoy the large seasonal outdoor pool and indulge in dining and drinks at the on-site restaurant and bar. Situated adjacent to Parco Fausto Noce, guests can take in stunning views amidst lush surroundings.
We stayed at this hotel and were thrilled with every aspect. The rooms are spacious, meticulously maintained, and truly comfortable, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Cleanliness is impeccable, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming and refined. The food is excellent, with dishes prepared with quality ingredients and a wide variety of options, from the breakfast buffet to the main meals. Each course is carefully prepared and served with professionalism and courtesy. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and attentive to every need, making the experience even more enjoyable. In short: a hotel that combines comfort, good food, and impeccable service. Highly recommended for those seeking a truly relaxing and quality stay! 🌟

Rooms were nice but several small things went wrong during our stay. Shower broke, kettle didn't work properly, sink plug got stuck, safe ran out of battery.. We only mentioned a few of these things to the staff, who were friendly and happy to help and they were fixed quickly, but it still made the rooms feel tired. The breakfast looked delightful but the hot food was always cold. Every. Single. Day. I'd really expect better in this regard from a Hilton. The location of the hotel is about a 20 minute walk from any other civilization. We don't mind walking so it isn't a problem for us, however this may be off putting for some. An occasional shuttle service would have been a great addition. Asked for late checkout while booking, but they wanted to charge us £100 for a late checkout on the day which is more than the night rate we paid. I really don't understand how their Kate checkout is more than an entire night. While I would recommend this hotel, I'd be sure to have a close look at other options in the area as well.

Nice modern hotel located about 1.5km from main town Excellent staff here on reception and the delightful bar area. Brilliant breakfast here and outstanding restaurant. North side of hotel face a dirt bike rally track. Surrounding areas a bit remote. Swimming Pool or jacuzzi not heated. Limited UK TV. Air conditioning speeds not available to control in the rooms.
Kevin S — Google review
We had a lovely stay here! There was a car rally restricting access to the hotel so none of the airport taxi driver would take us. Fortunately the hotel was able to arrange a transfer for us. The rally was exciting to watch from the balcony! Our room was great and included a spa and sauna on the balcony - wow! The staff were lovely and the service very professional and attentive. Pool was not open yet for the summer but apart from that everything was perfect. It’s a 10 minute walk into town. The free museum is well worth a visit too.

I stay here often for work. It is no thrills but staff is great and they offer everything you need. When you live on the road you become a great food critic. Personally, I find the restaurant excellent. Mario and his crew are on point and I literally wanted to give the chef a hug for a recent meal. The mussels are TO DIE FOR! as they come from local waters. It is not only a good hotel restaurant, but a great overall restaurant. If you get tired of the hotel there are shops, cafe's and eateries within walking distance.
P H — Google review
Nice modern hotel, clean and spacious rooms. Friendly and professional staff. Balconies are great place to have a drink and watch sunset. Breakfast was good with enough to chose from. Mario was particularly nice and friendly. Unfortunately the pool was closed when we were there in May, apparently it is open only from June to September. That said, we would have stayed here anyway. The only weird thing was that they do not have ironing boards in the room. You have to bring all your shirts and cloths to a hidden room behind the reception and use the only iron they have in the hotel. It is not very practical to carry your cloths eight floors down and across all the lobby. Never seen this in a Hilton hotel before. Apart from having to wear creased shirts, our stay was quite nice.

The good: we had a very spacious room for a family of 4. The room was cleaned daily to a high standard daily (the cleaning lady was very nice 😃). Plenty of spaces for parking. Located in a quiet area so no disturbance from traffic and great black out curtains. Friendly staff. Pool area was not busy and not had an issue with getting a sun lounger being October and the weather wasn’t too hot (but still there were one or two people that put towels on the loungers first thing?!) The not so good: breakfast was not the best, particularly for hot food - not much choice and quality average. It was very busy in the mornings and there were not enough staff to help. Therefore we often had to wait for them to clear away and set tables. The staff tried their best of course and were friendly. The pool had a sign saying it was closed the whole time we were there. Not sure how long it has been closed for or why but the people (including us with the little ones) still used it. As others have said on here the kids pool surface was peeling - there certainly were white bits floating everywhere and I did not let my kids swim in it. The main pool was cleaner but too deep for little ones (1.4m end to end). So, the pool area is great for sunbathing but it may better to go to the beach for a swim (plenty to choose from)! Overall a nice base for Olbia if you have a car.

I chose a hotel based on the criteria of a chain hotel with a sauna. Upon arrival, it turned out that the sauna was not working. I took it with dinner included and it was a big mistake. 1.5 waits, despite the fact that we arrived first. Everyone was served faster than us. The highlight was the squid dish. It was not fully cooked and burnt. Also at the reception they asked for a deposit and did not want to accept it in dollars. Not only does this create a queue, but also create discomfort. By the way, water for dinner is also paid. Payments through the system on the website are not made from the card from which the debit was planned. Frustrated by this network. I do not recommend visiting. If you do stay, take breakfast and have cash ready for a deposit.

The hotel offers a bar, fitness room, and spa with a hot tub. Guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi and breakfast during their stay. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable experience for visitors.
We stayed for 5 days. Let me start by saying how amazingly kind and helpful the hotel staff are. I was worried about renting a vehicle, front staff was so kind, they called the place I was inquiring about and arranged a vehicle to be dropped off to us! There's free parking for guests easy to get to and navigate. The roof top patio is spectacular with the most breathtaking views of all of Olbia. We booked a standard room and I was surprised at how spacious it was. We even had a small balcony. Very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is also surprisingly decent, nice fruits and eggs bacon, cappuccinos made to order. The location is amazing. It is literally in the center of town and it's so easy to walk around to local restaurants, shops and bars. Fantastic service, the staff are so kind! Highly recommend staying here, the rooftop alone is worth it! Thank you to all the staff for making our stay amazing.

This was the perfect hotel for our four day three nights stay. The staff is amazing, they’re all very nice and speak very good English. We got a fantastic room, 506, with beautiful views. The breakfast that is included is OK, plenty of options to get you going for the day. I absolutely love the location, it’s really seriously walking distance to nearly everything that you want to see in this town. So many great restaurants to choose from.

We stayed for a week and were generally satisfied. The room was large and clean. The room decor could be freshened up a bit. + is the free parking near the hotel and the helpful staff. Breakfast was very basic: two types of cold meats and cheese, something sweet, and a few vegetables. Good coffee, freshly made by the staff, and a nice terrace on the hotel's roof.

AMAZING 👏 🤩 This hotel is brilliant. Located in the historic centre of Olbia, a stunning food district and alleyways of bars and restaurants. Everything is walking distance. We have a car and was offered parking 100m away. Antonella checked us in. Very helpful and informative. She secured our bags until the room was ready and explained a few restaurants nearby. She really is an asset. We got a free bottle of wine to enjoy on the rooftop terrace, free WiFi and free parking! The rooms are large and modern, with a rustic look, to match the historic area. The bed so comfortable and even had some contour, memory foam pillows. After food we had a small sleep as we were tired from our flights and drive from Alghero Airport! Martina in the dining room is energetic, fast worker who really looked after us. At Breakfast, I always greeted with a smile and greeting. The other girl in the dining room was also very fast and efficient, and with a smile on greetings. Giai at rreception, is an asset too. She managed to find us an ironing board and iron before we departed. As Antonella and Martina, She speaks perfect English and has a smile for everyone. There is a spa and small gym too. Time to explore now, and eat some more. Lastly, the TV has so many channels. I even found motoGP round being aired from Aragon, Spain! I am in heaven

Great location in the middle of everything! We stayed here one night on a whim not know what to expect. Check-in was a breeze, very warmly greeted. Room was very clean. Rooftop sitting was a nice amenity! Again, this hotel is REALLY close to everything - so easy to come in & out throughout the day. Parking was a little confusing, as they say to park first then walk to hotel - but the parking was gated & we didn’t realize there was a buzzer near the gate to ask to be let in - we were told this at check in, and then they gave us a code. Could have been a me issue but it all worked out. But the parking lot was easy to find & close to the hotel! All in all, would stay here again next time we are in Olbia!

Pros: Nice central location. Though there's not much going on in Olbia it's still convenient for food and some shopping. Terrace is pretty good. Having dedicated parking in this location is key even though it takes some finagling. Breakfast is decent. Cons: Spotty/slow wifi. Rooms on the old side. Lack of sound proofing.

Stayed one night while traveling in Sardinia. Comfortable large room with excellent view. Good breakfast and attentive service (arranged airport taxi, bag storage etc). Nice rooftop views!

Nice hotel with lovely staff. However, for over £200 I would expect some little extras, like free mineral water and coffee in the room. Breakfast was also poor, eggs were cold and selection was poor.

Additionally, the area is known for its wonderful shops, adding to the appeal of this vibrant and lively destination.
The multicoloured dome is amazing, but you need to look for it We had gone round the old town most of the day and not noticed it but later on we took one of the tours and they pointed this out "Look up to the right..." Worth it :)

(Translated by Google) I had the opportunity, with the FAI project, to visit Villa Tamponi....I heard about it as a child once from my grandmother who told me it was very beautiful and she went there as a child with her mother who was a tamponi. ...I thought it was a small villa like many others and perhaps now destroyed during the world war..instead I come to discover that it exists and is an architectural project with an ambitious park..I found myself transported from Sardinia to Italian Nordic neoclassicism. A park that felt like it was near the Alps...not in Sardinia...magical place.
