Pretty castle and fun to explore! The route was set out well to visit and see all chambers in the castle. The medicinal garden was a real pleasure too to see not only the plants, but also where they were used for or able to cure! Very interesting.
Lovely historical spot that is out of the way. Herb garden and fruit garden are free to see. You only need to pay to get into the castle. Worth it just for the herb garden, if you're already in on the area.
A fine, nicely preserved medieval borg in a beautiful setting. Went there in the evening for their haunted Halloween castle 🏰 Made for a great setting for the ghouls and ghosts!
All newly restored and well organized. They have a welcome center with very clean toilets, gift shop and an exhibition about medieval clothing and the meaning of herbs. Outside is a clean park that invites you to picnic and an appetizingly scenting herbal garden. So relaxing. The castle is also worth the entry fee and the "ensrettet" one-way street signs guide you logically thru the castles rooms. Dogs can be brought, but are not allowed inside the historic buildings . The entry fee is quite high, as we are used to in Denmark.
The best castle ever.A pure adventure. Travel back in time.+Great gardens and helpful staff in shop with nice local products
Typical medieval fortification surrounded by greenery. To visit the adjacent botanical garden.
Great place to visit. In thebø summer there is a lot of activity, including market.
Demarks only remaining medieval castle, is well worth a visit. The annual medieval market in July, with knights and tournaments, is just amazing!

(Translated by Google) Bought the other day "Karybidder" on offer - 4 glasses. The curry mayonnaise is slimy and quite disgusting in consistency. Tasted the herring, which tastes ok, so I could just rinse off the slimy marinade and eat the herring - BUT a really miserable experience. Did something go wrong in production? and I wonder if that is why the herrings are on sale? Otherwise satisfied with Glyngøre herring (Original) Købte forleden "Karrybidder" på tilbud - 4 glas.

We picked this old limestone cave to visit because our dog was welcome. As seen on the photo's he enjoyed the time in the cave and outside. The cave was easy accessible, although a bit low for a tall Dutch person. At times it can be steep so beware if you're having difficulty with walking. You could still help each other going further into the caverns. The cave system is small, but gives you plenty of information in the time you're inside. The guide and owner speak perfectly English, are very friendly and have even a troll/gnome hunt for the kids in the woods.
Awesome place, great owner, very welcoming and informative. We saw plenty of bats. Completely worth the 1-hour drive, would recommend.
It was a great trip with kids. You can learn history about limestone caves and also about a Jutlandic " Robin Hood " - Jens Langkniv. It was excited to watch bats at such close range. PS. after visiting the caves, you can relax in the open air and drink delicious coffee and have a snack)) 🦇 🦇 🦇
What an amazing day out! A wonderful place with excellent hospitality and beautiful bats 🦇 thoroughly recommend.
Neat attraction with a great little cafe right along with it. It's a small piece of Danish history regarding Jens Langkniv.
There are jumpscares in the cave you can literaly die thare are 10k bats the bed is wery uncomfrotobale wouldn't recomend for your own safety if you want to live don't go to this hotel. And you can only lock the exit tath means you can only trap yourself.
Great fun, many bats, magnificent mead, schnapps (!), fine welcome
The mine is situated a bit in to the forrest, Nice walk to it. The mine itself isn't the biggest but is entertaining for about 30min.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful church, definitely worth a visit. Glyngøre church is Salling's youngest church. In 1884, the Skive-Sallingbanen got its terminus in Glyngøre, from where a ferry went to Nykøbing Mors. In the course of a few decades, a larger station town grew up on the headland, and of course the new town had to have its own church. The church, designed by architect Charles Jensen, Brønderslev, was inaugurated on 13 April 1919.

It must be a matter of honor for Glyngøre church to maintain this memorial, which was in turn donated by the town's citizens. (Translated by Google) Rødding Church was probably built around 1200, but was characterized by major renovations in the following centuries. The church is open to visitors daily between morning and evening bells. When Rødding Church was built sometime in the 13th century, it resembled well over a thousand other Danish medieval churches, it is at the same time: A gray stone house that is like two houses put together: The nave to the west and the somewhat smaller choir to the east. And like so many other medieval churches, it was expanded with a tower sometime in the 15th century.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful frescoes, but the church suffers from humidity, unfortunately. Definitely worth a visit. On the south side of the tower, two jambs can be seen, which probably originate from the priest's door on the north side of the church. The location of the priest's door is now only known by a flat door lintel on the north side of the choir. High up on the south side of the church is a small carved wreath. This mark is interpreted as the stone master's mark. A Romanesque granite relief of a lion can be seen in the triumphal arch. If this is the correct location of the block, it is natural to interpret it as a symbol of Christ; the lion of the tribe of Judah. The altar panel is from o. 1650. The pictures depict John, Christ and Peter. The Renaissance-style altarpiece itself dates from 1602. In the foot field is a small copy of Leonardo da Vinci's famous work "the communion". The crucifixion motif in the middle is of a younger date, from c. 1800, and of questionable artistic quality. Far inferior, however, is the altarpiece from o. 1850, which has now been relegated to the back of the altar. (Original) Smukke kalkmalerier, dog lider kirken under fugtighed, desværre.
(Translated by Google) Oddense Church is a fairly large ashlar church with a Romanesque choir and nave. The tower and armory were built at the end of the Middle Ages. On the south side of the tower, two jambs can be seen, which probably originate from the priest's door on the north side of the church.
