Loved the park. The entrance is free for the park. However, the different attractions (castle, pirate ship, zoo, etc.) have a separate fee. But it isn't a lot. Kids loved exploring on foot and enjoyed the train ride as well. The play areas with slides and see-saws are nice. The whole park is extremely clean and well kept. The castle was nice but did not have a word of English in it which made it difficult to understand what the cultural pieces/drawings were about. However, it did not take away from the beauty of it. Overall, we had a great time and were there till it was about to close.
A Magical Place for All Ages – Sazova Park is a Must-Visit! Our visit to Sazova Science, Culture, and Art Park (Sazofa) was absolutely unforgettable! The park is incredibly well-designed, offering a perfect blend of nature, education, and entertainment. Whether you're with kids, friends, or just exploring on your own, there’s something special for everyone. We loved walking around the peaceful green spaces and were amazed by the beautiful Fairy Tale Castle, which looked like it came straight out of a storybook. The pirate ship, mini zoo, aquarium, and planetarium were big hits with the kids, while we enjoyed the calm and beauty of the Japanese Garden. Everything was very clean and well-maintained, and the staff were polite and helpful. It’s clear that a lot of care has gone into making this park a place of joy and learning. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Eskişehir — it’s a place where imagination and culture come together beautifully!
It was a nice park to take pictures in and had several cafes for people to rest, I could not get in the castle but I don't think they have a lot of fun in there anyways, it did not allow picnicing of any kind which made the experience less fun because what's the point in sitting by the pond if I am not going to be eating some homemade sandwiches by it, right. Other than that, it was free and the weather was good, so I liked the place but can't say I loved it. You can go there just to see the castle and get some pictures.
A nice place to take young kids to enjoy. It is more like a miniature version of Disneyland, but nothing like Disneyland. The surrounding and outside of the building is beautifully designed but nothing much to see inside the castle. The mannequins inside the castle are a disaster, i wonder how they even got approved to be kept there. The 5 star is for just the view and park outside
Nice to visit but during the summer it’s very hot to stay outdoor , I advise them to close late during the summer season to give more time for who come late .
Wide, beautiful, green place with multiple coffee shops on the site, I was expecting more things to do and more places to visit other than the castle that was mostly restriced which was a bummer, and the pirate ship which was very nice and well made
You can reach to Sazova park by bus or tram. If you go by bus then take bus 11 from Odunpazari which goes to Sazova park directly. There is a bus stop in front of the park. If you travel by Tram, the last station is Osmangazi University. From there, you have to walk for 20 minutes to reach the park. The park is just right side of the university. The park is free for everyone. The park has following amenities- Sazova Castle, Lake, Ship Museum, Natural views, Water Aquarium and Science Museum.
This park is open for public with free of charge. Only on certain place such as ship and castle access for adult requires charges with very low cost. The open park was beautiful and well maintained. Some area has provided with small shop to provide water and ice-cream. Or you can bring some foods and drinks from shops outside enternce. Good job Turkiye!!

Wax museum
Museums
Lifelike sculptures, including Turkish leaders & historical figures, are on view at this wax museum.
Slide 1 of 8
A lovely wax museum that shows prominent figures across modern Türkiye; e.g. politicians, media reporters, celebrities… etc. One can buy tickets at the counter. Once in, you can explore the various monuments and read about them. They offer audio headsets, too. The monuments are very well made, and look quite real. The place can get quite busy, and needs anywhere between 30-60 minutes to explore.
This place runs by municipality however they charge extra for taking a photography (by professional photographer) with the sculptures in some of the area. This extra charge uses for education and scholarship of the girl students. It doesn’t bother you, it uses for good will. The sculptures are looking good and also, some of them exactly the same as its model (looking very real) If you visiting Eskişehir, you should see this place.
Title: Nice local wax figure museum of mostly Turkish and some international personalities. The founder and talented artist of this museum was also the mayor of Eskişehir + Over 100 figures... so you can see a lot + Some figures looked very real and was detailed worked + Entree fee was ok + A lot of Turkish legends from Atatürk until the Sultans of Ottoman empire + There is an area that tells the story of the liberation war in Eskişehir (in world war I) with a lot of relics to see o Some figures was behind of glas - In 2 areas it was forbidden to make photos. In one area they put their own photographer for extra cash - On some figures the quality or similarity was not given. It looks like different kinds of artists worked on the figures, some talented, some not. - A lot of figures was reporters of some known Turkish newspapers and TV programs. This part was a little boring for me ************************** Explanation of my votings + Pro - Contra o Only for your information 5 Stars: It was really special, you must try it 4 Stars: It was nice, you should try it 3 Stars: Nothing special, you could try it 2 Stars: Try only if you have no alternative 1 Stars: Bad, don't bother trying
The eskiseher version of wax museum, alot of local heros followed by the statues of past heros and ottomans too. Very little amount of international personalities are there and in that section no photos are allowed. Do visit if your fan of favourite personalities of the country otherwise don’t be misled to find international artists or individuals’s waxes.
You will learn a lot about famous people of Turkey, current price (7.01.25) - 120tl
I had better experience when it was first opened. Still good place to visit on your way to Kursunlu Mosque or Odunpazari Houses. Wax sculptures of celebrities and historic people. Worth seeing 👍
It's a must see if you're visiting Eskişehir. Consists of a lot of famous figures of Turkey and all wax statutes are made by the city's mayor Yılmaz Büyükerşen. It's a bit crowded at the weekends. Entrance is also inexpensive, an ordinary ticket is 10 liras and students and older people 5 liras.
Based mostly on Turkish leading figures, the wax museum boasts small but handy collection. The Museum has longer queues owing to safety parameters regarding Covid19.

Spacious park featuring winding paths & snack bars, plus artificial lake & beach.
Slide 1 of 8
A lovely and large park in Eskisehir that has many walking paths, picnic areas, playgrounds for kids, and small kiosks for snacks and drinks. Entering the park is free. They have ample parking next to a wedding hall that grants you access to the park. The park has several access points. Worth spending an evening here.
One of the best park I've visited here in Turkey. They have swimmingpool that what amazed me.
A pretty nice mall with all the standard shops and food places. What I really admired was the sparkling lights from the outside and all the decorations, other than that, it’s just a standard mall
It’s a very beautiful park. There swans and ducks, fish in the artificial beach. The park is super clean with amazing play areas for little children. There are cafes and small restaurants. There’s a river on one side. I didn’t try the toilets but I am assuming it would be okay since the park was glowing! If you are in Eskişehir, you must put this park on your list of places to visit.
One of the fantabulous parks in Eskisehir to spend summer leisure time. It has lakes, walking ground, horse, few restaurants. In the lake, one can go for fishing with permission from the park authority. Likewise many other parks in Turkey, it doesn’t have any ticketing system. Anyone can enter into and stay until closing of the park.
A beautiful family park with plenty of activities and cafés, along with lovely views.
An excellent recreational park well suited to the need of people of all ages; children's park/playing ground, nice lawns at the river bank, walking/trotting lanes, sport/exercise arenas, restaurants and cafes, and public toilets. The love for statues in Eskisehir is also very evident in the park complex. My attention was particularly drawn to the symbol of Turkey-South Korea friendship and a Chinese art exhibition. The park complex is a must-see for anyone visiting Eskişehir and is located within short walking distance, about 3 minutes away from the Eskişehir Bus terminal.
A beautiful park suitable for all generations, it is possible to rest or walk in it and play, its area is wide

A small yet fine glass museum with glass designs on-display. The museum spans over several rooms over two floors. The upper floor has a section for kids to play. You can buy tickets at the counter by cash or card. They have a restroom. Worth spending 30-60 minutes here.
The Eskişehir Museum of Modern Glass Arts, housed in beautifully restored historic Ottoman-style buildings in the Odunpazarı district, offers a unique blend of traditional architecture and contemporary glass art. Featuring a diverse collection by both Turkish and international artists, the museum showcases various glass techniques such as hot-blowing and cold shaping. The quality and originality of the pieces make it a worthwhile stop, especially for glass art enthusiasts and those interested in cultural experiences. The museum is best visited on weekdays and provides a charming, concise glimpse into the world of modern glass art within Eskişehir’s historic setting.
There were modern art glass, some very creative. Three main rooms, a central courtyard with the Chihuly style glass chandelier. That piece could use a cleaning. On the hot day we visited the central area had some appreciated nice cool air blowing and benches to sit and rest.
A heaven for glass artist. A picturesque place. Multiple glass varied arts followed by a spacious and two story building. Some history of the category is also there. A good outdoor space in the middle for a round view and direct sunlight is evident for some pictures too.
Beautiful pieces, it was a great experience. When I visited there was another exhibition on olive trees. The price was 13 liras for adults which is very good.
All style of the making glass art is here. It is not so big. Not only glass art, but also you can find modern picture exhibitions. Highly recommended 👍
It's a small but very interesting museum. Consists lots of glass art from all over the world and most of them are very extraordinary. A must see.
They don't sell tickets here, you must go to Hammam Museum to buy tickets. But when we were at the Hammam Museum, they didn't offer us tickets to Glass Museum, only to Art Gallery

A fine aquarium inside the Sazova Park, specially inside the Zoo. One can buy tickets at the entrance, and then take the escalator downwards. There is a photo service at the entrance. Inside the aquarium are a number of sea animals. One can spend anywhere between 30-60 minutes. Upon exiting, one goes through a small store, followed by a cafeteria for buying food and snacks.
Not very big but well made
Certainly, this is best and largest aquarium in Eskisehir. This exquisite aquarium is in the Sazova Park. It does not cost you much to gain access to the aquarium. As you can notice in the snaps, they have diversity of aquatic fish and species. The artistic interior made the aquarium more alluring. FYI, DO NOT USE FLASH WHILE YOU ARE TAKING PICTURE INSIDE THE AQUARIUM.
Beautiful zoo, underwater world and tropical center. You can spend here a lot of hours.
The aquarium is in the same location with the zoo in Sazova Park. You don’t need to buy an extra ticket to enter the aquarium, the tickets for the zoo are valid for the aquarium. Great place for kids to meet the sea creatures and even adults who love undersea world will enjoy this place. Sea star, octopus, piranha, colorful fish, insects, sharks etc.
The aquarium was good but the restaurant was shit I hade to wait around 30-50 minutes just for a burger
There's nothing, with only one word : nothing, inside the castle. But the whole park worths spending time.

free entry, lovely and beautiful cultural artworks, good for a quick pass by please purchase from here and support locals
All about typewriters, different models displayed, if your already in that area it would be nice to visit. Staff was friendly inspite of not speaking English.
A great place of craftmanship pieces to take home as gifts for one's loved ones. It is located within the Kursun Cami and kulliyesi complex, in the beautiful area of historic Odunpazari houses.
It is one of the must-see places in Eskisehir, but when it comes to museum, I was expecting a bigger and more complicated place, but it was a more minimal place. There are many masks in it and you can shop from the shops in it.
It is not really a museum, it is more a shop. But is is free to visit and there Are some Amazing art pieces with Meerschaum.

An interesting complex of early Ottoman buildings, well preserved and maintained now as a mix of shops and venue to see. What is now called the library building next to the impressive main mosque is on a slightly different alignment and hint at being an earlier Byzantine church building. This is supported by the individual re-used possibly Roman column and cap stones supporting the entrance dome. The whole complex is possibly the best tourist site to visit in Eskişehir.
There is mystical air and smell that gives peace to your soul. The landscape is beautifully planned.
Beautiful, well kept and quiet. Lovely grounds with many museums, galleries, and art studios rounding it. A must see when visiting this city.
A beautiful mosque surrounded by a museum, workshop, library and more 🕌🇹🇷 Definitely worth a visit if you are near Odun Pazari 😊👍
Fantastic. Built in 1500 years. Historical and there are lots of museums around.
A great piece of architectural art. Very beautiful place

Fascinating place, you can feel like time traveller, colorful houses, a lot of museums, delicious restaurants.
It’s a gorgeous colorful neighborhood with lots of shops to buy souvenirs and cafes. We had a pleasant walk. The glass, wax and modern museums were all at walking distance but we didn’t go inside.
It’s like an old town in the city. European style, classic road with rock seems like a horse road. I was drove the paveway, nothing wrong but not noticed road block makes me crazy. Not comfortable for driving around. But still, I liked the mood there, and lots of museums are gathering there so ones u find parking space, it’s easy to move around the popular places. Worth to visit.
You can walk through the narrow alleys where Ottoman-style houses are gathered, look at traditional Turkish crafts, and take a break at a pretty cafe. Small museums can also be visited throughout.
A suitable place to visit if you like walking around. I enjoyed the different types of buildings and their architecture
A historic place with ancient types of houses, probably typical of Ottoman times. The settlement has been well planned and designed in such an environment that offers one a lasting curiosity to search, explore and tour such unique places the more. The location of Kurşunlu Cami ve Külliyesi, Anadolu Republic museum, Wood Carving museum and host of other touristic places make the whole area magnificent to tour.

So happy to have this mall nearby the train station. We need a long sleeve shirt due to the unexpected weather and the mall helped us with its convenient location. Lots of options and activities in the mall. Such a lively place!
Espark Shopping Eskişehir – A Perfect Mall Experience! Espark Shopping in Eskişehir has it all—great stores, delicious food, and fun entertainment. The modern, clean design and friendly staff make shopping a pleasure. Highly recommended for shopping, dining, and relaxing!
Good mall with different options / Brands distributed across the many floors. kids area to play and leave your kids is available with reasonable prices per hour
They had a great selection of stores and places to eat, Levi’s, U.S Polo, Starbucks, etc.
Secure and well organised shopping mall. Onus on shopping for clothing items. There are many outlets. It is generally expensive but many bargains are to be found. Friendly people. Recommended.
Great for the whole family, play areas are amazing for kids
Convenient, not so cheap, quality clothes but no good design(I personally, hate ugly design of nf jackets). Weather just got cold, l only brought windbreaker for fall not for this 2+ month trip. just bought winter jacket for under $100, fabric felt ok, design soso but it feels warm.
Very good Shopping mall, with a lot of branded showrooms. The food court on the second floor has many very good stalls. Would recommend Keyseri Mutfağı, they have very good, tasty vegetarian options. Traditional Dessert is also a must try here.

Eskişehir made most of what it has. I would not call this place museum because it has modern wood work competion pieces not historical artifacts. It is more like an art shop. The building itself is much more interesting and neighbourhood worthy of a visit.
This museum is a place where you can learn about Turkish culture and the Turkish independence war. You can also watch a movie about the war and how it also went. You can also see the weapons used in the war.

A fine Roman museum in Eskişehir with a good number of artifacts on-display. One can buy tickets at the entrance. The museum spans over two floors. The place is well-guided and well-decorated. Expect to spend anywhere between 30 minutes to 2 hours.
The Archaeological Museum has some great pieces, especially on the third floor, which is truly amazing. It has more artifacts and a better display compared to the first and second floors, which are okay but less impressive. However, one major drawback is the lack of detailed explanations. Many artifacts are labeled only with basic information like ‘BC’ or ‘Roman period,’ without any descriptions or context about what the item is or its historical significance. This makes it hard to fully appreciate the collection. The museum could greatly benefit from adding more detailed labels and explanations. Entry is 60 TL accessible with a museum card..
The Eti Archaeology Museum in Eskişehir, while offering a glimpse into the region's past, primarily focuses on funerary artifacts, leading to a somewhat limited experience. I'd rate it 3 out of 5 stars. Upon entering, visitors are greeted with a collection dominated by tombs, sarcophagi, and various types of gravestones. While these pieces are undoubtedly historically significant and well-preserved, for those hoping for a broader spectrum of archaeological finds – perhaps everyday tools, pottery illustrating daily life, or more diverse architectural elements – the exhibition can feel a bit repetitive. The sheer volume of funerary items might overwhelm some, leaving an impression that there isn't much beyond the grave. That being said, the museum is clean, well-lit, and the information panels are generally clear and informative, providing context for the displayed items. It offers a valuable insight into burial practices and beliefs of ancient civilizations in the area. However, the lack of more varied exhibits means that unless one has a specific interest in ancient burial customs, the visit might feel a little one-note. It's a decent stop for a quick understanding of a particular aspect of Eskişehir's ancient history, but don't expect a comprehensive overview of daily life or broader societal structures.
Nicely curated, very informative, has interactive pieces which captures the kids imaginations. We had already toured some sites physically which added to our enjoyment.
This museum has a lot of potential and really needs someone to pick up their socks and make it into something amazing. When you walk in through the garden, there are old ruins. Something interactive or engaging that would help people visitors experience those ruins in a more meaningful way is currently lacking. But it is beautiful and nice to walk through the modern and ancient together in an open space. . The ground floor has little Information alongside the exhibits and little in English. The upstairs exhibits are well documented and exhibited and there are reading materials next to the exhibits. Eskişehir is actually an archaeologically rich place with many dig sites nearby. It is just waiting for someone to wake up and put it on the tourist map in an interesting way.
For an art lover, this is quite a place to savor lots of old antiques. For students in Turkey, you can enter with the museum card.
This museum is part of the national museum pass, without pass it is currently 20 lira for entrance. It is small, but the museum is high quality and beautiful. They even have a few interactive displays.
Good bite sized museum. Very basic, nothing special. Cool to go to if you have time but don’t go out of your way to go.

Entrance is free, you can see both combat aircrafts and regular ones here. Really nice place to appreciate our army history especially for local tourists.
This museum park hosts different varieties of helicopters, war planes and navigation-purpose planes. (Translated by Google) Architecturally very good. However, it is a great deficiency for such a valuable building to remain empty and not to be turned into a living complex. (Original) Mimari olarak çok iyi. Ancak bu kadar değerli bir yapının bomboş kalması, Yaşayan bir külliye haline getirilmemesi büyük eksiklik.
(Translated by Google) According to legend, Seyyid Battal Gazi's grave was found as a result of a dream. Ümmühan Hatun, the mother of Alaeddin Keykubat I, first had a tomb and then a mosque built here. Today's social complex is shaped around the tomb. The Ottomans added madrasahs, almshouses, dervish lodges and dervish lodges to the tombs and mosques. Starting from Fatih Sultan Mehmet II. The buildings repaired by Beyazıt and Sultan Selim I were enriched with additions. Suleiman the Magnificent visited Seyitgazi during his expeditions to Iran and had some additions made to the complex. While going to the Iraq Campaign, his army stopped in Seyitgazi and Matrakçı had Nasuh make a miniature of Seyitgazi. IV. Murat had a caravanserai built here during the Revan Campaign. Seyitgazi is located on the Istanbul-Baghdad-Hijaz road and is the accommodation point of those who go on a pilgrimage. This situation increases the importance of Seyitgazi in religious terms. The social complex became a center where Islamic sciences were taught with its madrasa, first the center of Kalenderi dervishes and then the center of Bektashism. Rumor has it that Hacı Bektaş-ı Veli visited the social complex and asked Orhan Gazi to develop it. Orhan Gazi enlarged Seyitgazi by having a thousand household members. On this occasion, the social complex becomes an important place of pilgrimage for the Bektashis. Seyyid Battal Gazi; It becomes a unifying name that is highly valued by all Muslims from every sect and sect with the adjectives of saint, veteran and seyit. (Taken from Turkey Culture Portal) (Original) Söylenceye göre Seyyid Battal Gazi’nin kabri bir rüya sonucunda bulunur. I. Alaeddin Keykubat’ın annesi Ümmühan Hatun buraya önce bir türbe, ardından cami yaptırır. Günümüzdeki külliye türbe etrafında şekillenir. Osmanlılar, türbe ve camiye medrese, imarethane, tekke ve dergâh eklemişlerdir. Fatih Sultan Mehmet’ten itibaren II. Beyazıt ve Sultan I. Selim tarafından tamir edilen yapılar eklentilerle zenginleştirilir. Kanuni Sultan Süleyman, İran’a yaptığı seferler sırasında Seyitgazi’yi ziyaret eder, külliyeye bazı ilaveler yaptırır.
